When I create SC and click on Internal Godds and Service the Prodcut description is not available in the list.Pls let me know how to get it displayed.

Components of a product are not visible in service order
Hi all,
I have created a product and assigned various other products as components to it. For e.g i have created a refrigirator and assigned components such as compressor etc. But after i assign the product while creating service order , i am not able to see the components. For e.g i can only see refrigirator and not compressor.
I want even the components to be visible in the transaction Can anyone help me in doing that?

My Understanding:
1. When you enter the main/header product in the item details, the item catefory for the header product gets determined.
2. Your components can also be seen below as sub-items automatically, but the item category is not determined.
Tell me if my understanding is correct.
If Yes, u need to maintain the item category determination for the sub-items or components as well.
Transaction Type: Put the service order transaction type
Item Category Group: Check the item category group of your component product in COMMPR01 (Material tab/ Sales and Distribution Tab)
Item Category Usage: Leave it Blank
Main Item Category: Put the header product item category
Item category: Put the desired item category here.
Also ensure that in the customizing of the header item category, u have maintained the Structure Scope as A- Single Level Explosion of Structured Products.

Products are not visible in webshop
Hi all,
i have created a product catalog,variants,views and assigned the products activated at all levels.To the view of the product catalog i have assigned Target group.
and also i have initial replicated the same to Index server.Then i went to webshop admin in which i have created new webshop and assigned respective product catalog, Variant and views and saved.
When i go to the respective shop i am not able to view the products.
Any clues on this why i am not able to see the products in the webshop?

I want to show product proposals to all the customers who logged on to webshop irrespective of which target group he/she belongs to.
To achieve this I have done the following settings.
1) Created target group by taking segment type as product proposal
2) Assigned target group to product catalog view
3) Created TOP N LIST product proposal
4) Assigned Webshop ID, Target group to the TOP N LIST.
5)Assigned Product catalog, view and variants to Webshop admin
6) Activated Display Global product recommendations field
7) Assigned target group to the Global product recommendations
But still i am not getting Product proposals in webshop while creating the sales transaction.
is there anything else which needs to be configured?
anything to do with XCM settings as well?
any inputs will be greatly appreciated.

Product category not visible in search help
Hello,
We have performed changes to product categories in Dev system and moved it to Q. I can see all the cateogories correctly in COMM_HIERARCHY, but when I try to add them in the org structure to users, I can't find them.
Any idea, why this could happen?

How are you trying to map your product categories in organisational structure?
via extended attribute? for eg. product category?
how did you move from dev to Quality ?
i believe you can create(load) hierarchy in quality which you might have done in development?

There was the problem with the goods in Web Shop.
Goods are not visible on the page Web Shop.
Below you can see actions performed by us and Prerequisites:
1. Repository was unachieved from Standard archive - WEC20_MDMCATALOG_CONS
2. Taxonomy, Hierarchy and Lookup table data were transferred from CRM via MDMGX
3. Manually created root node in Product Catalogs table in MDM
4. Put technical code (ID) of created node to Product Catalog module in WCEM configuration - field Catalog ID.
5. Fill another necessary fields in Product Catalog module in WCEM.
6. Manually add test record in MDM and linked to node in Product Catalog table, elements from Main Taxonomy and other required fields.
7. In preview mode of WCEM configuration not possible see any records from MDM (but product catalog elements showed correctly)

Leading zeroes it's no my case, because the products (materials) replicated from CRM to MDM.
Replication from CRM to MDM via MDMGX and Initial Load R3AC1 is successfull.
But on the WebChannel web shop page this products are not visible.
I have suggested that the problem in authirizations of technical user, which uses RFC Destinations from SAP NW AS Java (Web Channel) to MDM.
According Security Guide for SAP Web Channel 2.0 (paragr. 8.3.2 see please screenshot), user of WEC_MDM_DEFAULT destination must assign the role WEBCHANNEL_CATALOG_DISPLAY_ROLE.
But this role does not exist in the system (SAP MDM, SAP NW).
Please give me advice about this. -
Product description and Customer ship description to should be visible in R
Currently we are able to see the Customer ship to number and Product number in SNC Responsive Replenishment (RR) screen. We want to have Customer Ship description and Product description in addition to Customer ship to number and Product number to be displayed on Responsive replenishment screen.
Current display of RR screen in SNC:
In this we can see the 7529000 and 23100.
The Product description and Customer ship description to should be visible in RR screen.

we have faced similar problem in case of SNI monitors where SNC does not provide the product or location description and our users used to remember those things by their description. Std. SNC does not provides descriptions on SNI monitor and I think its the same case with RR monitors also.
SAP suggest us that time is that they will try to include this thing in next releases. Other option remains for use is to go for the customization.

I am getting error in description of product - it is not getting updated..
Material description is changed in R/3 same is not getting extracted in APO. However, other forecast data and transaction data of extracted successfully. Please note Product start data is maintained from few days onwards.

Go to CFC9 in R/3 and check what value do you see for material master change transfer:
1) If it's blank, you won't get changes from R/3 to APO. If your CIF jobs run daily, then change the value of 1. Changes will come to APo after CIF job for material will finish.
2) If it's 1, then you need to re-CIF the material to get the changes in APO
3) if it's 2, only then the changes are supposed to happen immediately when you change the description in R/3. If your setting is 2, then you need to check if an active integration model (IM) exists for your product or not. Go to CFM5, give your product and check if an active IM exists.
PS: not clear regarding your comments about forecast. Forecast could go from APO to R/3, and not the other way around.

Profile description is not visible from Application which the LDT file has.

I am running into strange issue.
Dev created a LDT file for a profile and requested to upload it through a one-off patch.
The profile got updated into the DB for all the 3 languages - US, KO and AR.
However the description is not visible for US when tried to verify from the Forms.
Further analysis gave a tip that the description is NULL only for US and exists for other 2 Langs (KO and AR).

What could be the reason behind this change?
Why the profile description only for US Lang is not getting updated whereas for other languages it got updated by FND User - "ORACLE12.2.0"?
It clearly shows on 09-Nov-12 there were some changes happened and that to by User_ID 122 which updated for KO and AR.
For some reason the same was not applied for US Lang.HI Hussein,

We have requested Dev to chek the same got to know that,Yes, when tried with CUSTOM_MODE=FORCE, it is working fine.
But they are insisting on how the other Langs got updated and why it would not update for US alone.
Just check the Profile from FND_PROFILE_OPTIONS about the profile details and found below.

For some reason the TL got lastupdate_date and 09-NOV-12 and the same is not reflecting in FND_PROFILE_OPTIONS.

Custom work centers are not visible in the production tenant UI after solution is deployed
Hi Experts,
We have deployed the solution into the production tenant. The solution is deployed successfully. But the custom business option(BAC) element which we have created is not part of proejct scoping.
We have created a new change project in production and added the custom business option to the project.
Under this custom business option we have fine tuning activity which is having all the custom configurable code lists.
All these configurable code list are not visible as views. these are already assigned to WCF of one of our custom BO under asssinged objects.
These configurable code lists are displaying like below.
Because of this i am not able to close this fine tuning activity and i am not able merge the change project into Main project.
Once after merging the change project into main project, I came to know the all the custom work centers will be visible. I am correct here?
Can anybody know how to resolve this issue. Please let us know..!

this issue sometimes occurs. Please create an incident as soon as possible. Sometimes the BCSets / BCViews need to be regenerated in the backend. Support can correct this. Mention that you did this using the SAP Cloud Applications Studio.

Web service not visible in production
Hi all,
I have developed a web service in development server and it is working properly. When transported to production, it is not visible in service definitions. ( se80 -- enterprise services -- service definitions)
But in production, under repository information system, it is available.
My requirement is how to get this webservice from repository information system in to enterprise services-- service definitions?

Responsibilities not visible to user after cloning instance from Production
Hi,
In my environment, one of the user is disabled in Production, but he has access in DEV instance. When i clone production onto DEV instance and enable this user, he is not able to see the responisbilities which he is suppose to see.
I ran the "Synchronize WF LOCAL tables', but still the user is not able to see the responsibility.
Am i missing anything?

SAP standard Menu : few menu paths not visible in Production but dev
Hi All,
We have a problem where in we can see the following menu path visible in standard menu in developement system; while the same menu path ( and few others also ) not visible in production system for same user ( i.e. having similar authorizations )
the path is : SAP Menu --> Accounting --> Financial Supply Chain Management --> Cash and Liquidity Management
Our system is : ECC 6.0
Every user should be able to view SAP standard menu inspite of the fact that he might have authorization to certain transactions only; hence this should not be an authorization issue ( as per my view ).
So can anybody help/ suggest in this regard?

Sales Area is not visible in CRM for the products downloaded from R/3
Hi Experts,
Our client is using CRM 2007 and R/3 4.7.
connectivity was established via Middleware.
Before downloading the materials from R/3 we have done the following things
1. Following customizing objects were downloaded
DNL_CUST_PROD0
DNL_CUST_PROD1
DNL_CUST_PROD3
DNL_CUST_SALES
DNL_CUST_S_AREA
2. Org structure was copied from R/3 using the Tcode - CRMC_R3_ORG_GENERATE.
3. All the required sales are were correctly maintained( Downloaded ) in the org structure and under attributes tab " Object permitted for determination was selected".
4. Executed the report HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE.
After down loading the materials also we have executed the above report.
But the sales area details are not coming with the product.
Not: If I try to create a product in CRM I was not able to assign Sales area, ASSIGN button was in disabled mode.
Could you please guide me to solve this issue.

Can you please check if all the condition tables are replicated correctly from R/3 to CRM. Eg ZDNL_COND_A805 and DNL_COND_A191.
I hope the initial download for the same would be completed.
Because there might be some fields relating to Material and Sales Area in these condition tables, which might not have moved to CRM.
Thats the reason I am asking to check.

After EM agent installation, only database is not visible in EM Grid Contro

I am using Oracle 10g2 database. I have a problem with EM agent configuration. After installation the database (SID=BITEX) is not visible in the EM Grid Control, which is installed on the other host. </Targets>I don't see where your listener hostname matches hostname for your agent, thus agent discovery might have issue putting two and two together. Thus, the need to add it manually, or adjust it in targets.xml file first.

CRM materials extended and in R/3 - not visible in CRM
Materials extended in masterfile maintainence, materials showing in PRD in R/3.
Products not visible in the CRM online system using /ncommpr01 to view the materials.
Any help on this issue would be most apprectiated.Hi , I went into transaction /nsmw01 and there are bdocs there on the date in question that have a bdoc validation error for each material. Bdoc type - PRODUCT_MAT.
The bdocs state is E04. The flow context description is mBDoc Validate.The flow context is MI0
The DDIC type of extension part of BDoc is: COMT_PROD_MATERIAL_BDOC_TAB
In relation to these bdocs that have the validation error, how would I go about getting eradicating this issue, and getting the materials into CRM.
The materials are visible in R/3 production but now in CRM at the moment.
Any further help would be most appreciated.
