Product feedback: Maps

I have some product feedback about the way iPhone Maps is working in my city. Where do I submit my feedback so that it gets into the right hands to be acted on?

  • GL Account/Product category mapping not working in transported client

We have implemented SRM 5 and an Ecc 6.0 backend.
We have transported the GL Account /Product category mapping config from the DEV client to the Quality client. In the quality client we run BDLS to set the correct backend system for the GL account/product category mapping.
When we create a shopping cart, GL accounts are not determined. We have noticed that in table BBP_DET_ACCOUNT, the backend system is still pointing to the DEV client backend system not the quality client backend system. Why is this?
Do we have to always manually reset this config in every client that we transport this table if we have new or changed entries?

  • One of the 7's results that I don't like is the ablitly to Move and Scale a photo that I want to use as wallpaper.  Last version had this.  Techie i spoke with said that there was a product feedback site on here to comment on this, but I can't find it.

One of the features that I miss since uploading 7 is the ability to "Move and Scale" a photo that I want to use as wallpaper.  Techie I spoke with said that I should post this on Product Feedback, but I can't find that.

    Sorry.

  • Sql Anywhere product road map

    Hello, all
Our company is about to start a new large project soon.
Several DB providers are being evaluated, among them SAP SQL Anywhere.
Since this is going to be a product line for the next 15-20 years, we need to know if SAP has road map for SQL Anywhere.
The vagueness of SQL anywhere  future is currently the biggest drawback for us, since technically it is an excellent solution.
If anyone can point me to the product road map, it would very helpful.
    Thank you
    Arcady

    Hi Arcady,
As far as I know, SQL Anywhere is alive and well.  In addition to being offered as an product for sale to end users and OEMs, it is part of, or included with, many other SAP solutions.  For example, SQL Anywhere is included as part of Business Objects and the SAP Mobile Platform, and SQL Anywhere data synchronization (MobiLink) is currently in beta as a new offering for the Hana Cloud Platform.
There is a recent product roadmap for SQL Anywhere posted on SAP Service Marketplace, which you should be able to access if you have an account.
Development is continuing on SQL Anywhere and a new release is planned for this year (I don't believe a firm date has been announced yet).
Hopefully this information helps to address your concerns.  If not, please feel free to contact me directly if you have any further questions about the future of SQL Anywhere (firstname dot lastname at sap dot com).

  • Suggestion:  Product feedback should be ubiquitous

I notice that some Apple-provided Mac apps have menu entries to provide product feedback or to report bugs, but not all. Indeed, not even all apps have forums for discussing bugs or providing feedback.
What I propose is that any major Mac app have a collection of version-specific feedback forums (and a support forum, with the means by which someone can mark a post as a "bug report"), and that these forums be accessible easily from within the menus of the application they pertain to. Moreover, accessing the forums through those menus should automatically log you into the forum, place you in the correct forum, and fill in product version and OS version and machine model.
The downside to such a treatment, naturally, is that bug reports and feedback will likely result in many duplicates, but the upside to this, of course, is a rough means to gauge the issues real users are facing most commonly.
Sorry to provide this in the forum feedback forum, but I think you'll see that this involves the forums and is rather over-arching across product lines.

    Hello DulcetTone!
You can also use one of the forms here Apple Product Feedback, or here Apple Mac OS X Feedback.
    Good Luck!

  • Product Category mapping from Punch-out to Shopping Carts

    Hi,
We are implementing Punch-Out catalogs. We are on SRM_SERVER 550 and SP 11.
Product Category brought from field 'MATGROUP' field of structure 'CATALOG_CONTENT' in BADI BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER is picked up and wrote our own logic for mapping it with the available UNSPSC codes either at Family level or Segment level. The nearest available UNSPSC code is picked up and passed to output structures ENRICHED_ITEM_DATA and ET_SC_ITEM_DATA in the field 'CATEGORY_ID'.
This is tested by putting external debugging points and found to be working fine.
However when transferring data to Shopping carts, the default Product Category for User ID is shown up instead of the one from output of BADI BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER.
Please let me know if i am doing correct or any suggestions are appreciated.
    Thanks
    Venkat

even we had the same issue -->
please note that category in SRM system has both category id and also category guid
so , you need to retrieve --> the guid of the category using the FM
    CALL FUNCTION 'BBP_CATEGORY_GET_GUID'
            EXPORTING
              category_id   = category_id
            IMPORTING
              category_guid = iv_comm_cat
            EXCEPTIONS
              NOTHING_FOUND = 1
              OTHERS        = 2.
and then assign as shown below
    wa_bbp_oci_enritem-category = iv_comm_cat.
    and then modify ENRICHED_ITEM_DATA

  • Communications channel for product feedback

Does anyone know of communications channels with Microsoft and Palm where discerning users can provide thoughtful feed back for the product managers and developers of the software and hardware? I asked a Palm IM support person about this and they advised me to click the Site Feedback link on the palm.com site. That doesn't seem like the proper channel for the product improvement feedback that I would like to offer about the new 800w.
    Thanks.

I am not sure Palm has anything like that, but I like your idea.  Check this out: http://www.palm.com/us/company/contacts.html  .  Maybe the Palm Developer Network is the place.  If you find out anything, get back with us, so others can benifit.

    1. Which feature do you most like in iSQL*Plus?
    Answer: it's simple.
    2. Which feature do you least like in iSQL*Plus?
Answer: least like: lack of return codes - I had a glitch when running sqlplus as a system command from a PERL script... it couldn't open the file and wrote that it couldn't to a log, but it seems to return 0 no matter what happens. In such situations, it would be nice to have return codes.

  • Punchout Catalog product category - Default product category mapped

    Hi,
Currently we are getting default product category even though punchout catalog is sending different prooduct categories?
We are using UNSPSC categoires and even punchout categories also same but default product category is coming not the punch out product category. Please note that if i click on Describe requirement then one default product category is coming up so same product category is coming for punch out catalog items.
Can you please give me some idea how this is picking up.
    thanks

  • Product Resource mapping / priority for planning

    Hi all,
This is regarding assigning priority to resources product wise. Consider the following case
    Product 1 & Product 2.
Both are produced in Resources X & Resource Y.
If equal priority is given in PDS_MAINT systems plans product 1 for resource X and product 2 for resource Y as it sorts in the alphabetical order.
If more priority is given for resource Y then systems is planning in this resource for product 1 & 2 in that order.
Now the problem is how to assign product 1 to resource Y and product 2 to resource X so that this combination is retained while planning.
    Is there any option ?
    Thanks in advance.

    Durai,
now the question is how are you planning.  Are you using SNP or PPDS.
If you are using SNP.  You could either use CTM or the SNP optimizer.  In both cases you will be doing constrained planning.  That is you will go from your primiary source of supply to your secondary source of supply if the primary resource becomes overloaded.
If you select CTM you will want to match to demand from Product 1 to the supply of resource y and the demand from product 2 to the supply of product x before the other options.  This can be done with the PDS priority.
If you select the SNP optimizer you want the cost of the first priority PDS's to be lower then the cost of the second priority PDS's
If you are planning in PPDS I think SAP would recomend you go to the PPDS optimizer  where both resources would be modes in a single PDS for each product  (2 pds in place of 4) with different priorities.  However there are several ways to do this.  See notes 441102,397989,459694,551125
CTM might also be an option for you in PPDS.

  • Inhouse production / Subcontracting mapping in SAP PP

    Hi,
I have a scenario for inhouse and subcon. My FG is canbe manufactured inhouse and as well as can send for subcontracting for operation.
for this I have maintained X (both procurement type) in Material master and also created a MRP group and assigned in Material Master, in that MRP group I have maintained order type for my Prd.Ord and in external procurement I have maitained a subcontracting PR doc type.
When I run MRP it is giving me planned order and allowing me to convert in to either prd.ord or PR, till this point its fine but when I try to convert in to PR its getting converted but it is not a subcontract PR, but I want to convert into subcontract PR.
Can anybody tell me what more I need to do to achieve this scenario.
    Regards
    Ramana

    Dear Clifford and Brahmankar,
I have tried to maintain as you said special procurement type in MRP 2 view as 30 (subcontract) after maintaining this and running the mrp its giving me only PR in the md04 screen, but when I run MRP with the processing indicator as 3 i.e. planned orders it will give me planned order where I can convert into either prd.ord or sub con PR.
But If I give processing indicator as 3 (planned order) while running MRP for all other external procurements also mrp giving planned orders, which again they have to convert in to PR which is extending one step of work which is not desirable.
To overcome this I maintained the conversion indicator in MRP group to planned order (3), but still its giving me PR when I run MD02 with processing indicator (3).
So how do I Over come this situation, so that only for this material  I'll get Pl.Ord and for all other F procurement its PR. Please help me.
    Regards
    Ramana
