I am so sorry to inform you that Acrobat XI Standard is not available on Mac, you can only use it on your Windows computer.
You can also refer to the system requirements at : System requirements | Acrobat family of products—older versions (XI, X, 9)

Welcome!
Since Windows 8, OEM preinstalled operating systems store and encrypt the product key in the uEFI or BIOS firmware chip. The product key is no longer on the COA sticker to help prevent theft. Whenever you need to reset or reinstall the same operting system on your OEM PC, the product key will automatically be applied and activated. Have you tried running Belarc Advisor? I believe that will show you the product key along with other important information about your system. http://belarc.com/

Our family purchased Adobe Photoshop for Windows, and then changed the computer to Apple IMAC, you can change the product key for windows on the product key on a Mac OS. my key for windows had not even been activated.

Need To Find Product Key For Windows 8

It's my son's laptop and I bought it brand new in January 2013. It crashed two months later. I tried to get help through HP but to no avail. They told me to update the BIOS, which I did, and it worked for maybe a week and crashed again. I had a friend wipe it and start over twice after that because it just kept crashing. I then called HP, since it was still under warranty, to have them send me a new one since this one was obviously defective and the lady with whom I spoke said she would have someone call me back to help me. This never happened. I just gave up on it and bought another laptop in March 2013...the same exact brand, model, specs, etc. and have had absolutely NO problems with it since. I've since decided that it merely needs a new hard drive, which I am more than happy to purchase and install. It is the only thing my son has asked for as a Christmas present this year. The problem I have is that I don't have the product key for the OS. It came installed with Windows 8 and I have read through several other messages and understand that it is not something you can buy, however, I do believe, and feel that I am entititled, to have the product key so that I can properly fix my son's laptop. After all, it was a defective laptop/hard drive with which to begin and since HP support was actually of no support whatsoever HP should be willing to help with this situation. I have only ever used HP for desktops and laptops and have since 2001 and this is the first product I have purchased that was probelmatic.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Microsoft did away with OEM product key stickers starting on all PC's that come with W8.
The OEM product key is now encoded into the BIOS in order to prevent it being used on other PC's.
So, your notebook does have a product key.
You just can't read it and if you order recovery media for the specific model notebook, or use a Windows 8 OEM installation disk you won't need the key.
It will automatically enter itself during the installation.

Product Key for Windows Server 2008 R2 Trial Period

We have downloaded the trial version of Windows Server 2008 R2 from the Microsft web site. We have installed it but we never received the product key for the trial period.
We are still assessing if all our applications can work with Windows Server 2008 R2 and would need the time to assess the product.
How can we obtain such a key?

Click Start, and then click Command Prompt.
Type slmgr.vbs -dli, and then press ENTER to check the current status of your evaluation period.
To reset the evaluation period, type slmgr.vbs –rearm, and then press ENTER.
Restart the computer.

You will need to purchase a license activation key for Windows 7 Ultimate.
HP does not install Windows 7 Ultimate version on its notebook.
That is why your attempt to upgrade from Windows Basic\Home edition\Professional to Windows 7 Ultimate is not working.

Product key for windows 10 not accepted

Hi!
Im installing Windows10 (US-Version) in a VM (Oracle) evironment an now the mentioned generic product key from the download site "NKJFK-GPHP7-G8C3J-P6JXR-HQRJR" will not be accepted.
Also the "disaster key" (from the MS community) is not working, regardless if installig a 32bit or 64bit Version.
Immediately after selecting language and locales and starting the installation, I will be prompted for product key. Strange!
After entering the above key following message occurs:
"We couldn't verify the the product key. Please check the installation media".
Otherwise I have installed windows7 some times ago in the VM with no Problems.
What should I do for testing Windows10?

Actually, it’s unnecessary to type key during installation phase. Where did you get the installation copy?

I believe 90% of Toshiba notebooks you can find on the market are delivered with preinstalled operating system. When you start it for the first time you must NOT activate preinstalled OS. At the bottom of the notebook you can find Windows sticker with valid key license.
Maybe you bought notebook without preinstalled OS. In this case you must install own OS and use own license key.
The question is: which notebook model do you have exactly and was your notebook delivered with preinstalled operating system?

Hi,
Unfortunately neither HP or Microsoft will have any record of your Product Key - but you can order a set of Recovery Discs from HP.
Order HP Recovery Discs.
Using these discs to reinstall windows will not require you to enter a Product Key - activation will be automatic.

Pavilion dv6 - How can I determine if the windows product key for Windows 7 is 64 bit or 32 bit?

The hard drive in my Pavillion dv6 had to be reformatted. I do not have a recovery disc nor a Windows 7 disc. I do have a product key on the back of the computer for Windows 7 Home Premium. How do I determine if I should install the 64 bit or the 32 bit version of Windows 7? The product number is A3E82AV, Model dv6t-7000.

Hi: All dv6-7xxx models came with W7 64 bit. That is what the license is for (although the product key would also work on a 32 bit OS). You can make your own W7 installation media and use that to reinstall Windows. Link to the W7 ISO file downloads is below. Download the applicable version of Windows 7 that is on your product key (Home Premium, Pro, or Ultimate). I bought a copy of Windows 8 Pro form you guys in late 2012, I've lost the Product Key that is needed to install it. As you need an operating system for your computer to work, I’m sorry to hear Microsoft wasn’t able to assist you in recovering the Product Key associated with your purchase.
Like jxs2 suggests, we might be able to help you locate the receipt so you may provide a proof of purchase to Microsoft. I’m not sure if this would assist you in receiving a replacement, though, as I’m not too familiar with their policies. Additionally, our super user, RealGeorgeW, hit the nail on the head in that we don’t capture the Product Key upon purchase. This means it wouldn’t be attached to your receipt.
However, not all hope is lost. If you had a Geek Squad agent install the Windows 8 operating system onto your computer when you purchased it in 2012, we might have the Product Key on file with your service record. I can’t guarantee you this, but I would like to look through your account to see if we might have it. Hey, two years ago i bought a Lenovo 3000 N200 with Windows Vista. A telephone call with microsoft was not effective The service asked me to call Lenovo. Here I got a digital voice and after answering several questions with the number buttons on the phone, I got the order to use the lenovo.com page.
