PRODUCT KEY NUMBERS NOT ACCEPTED ON INSTALL ELEMENTS 13

Purchased Adobephotoshop elements 13 premiere,  from Amazon direct, not a sub seller, tried the number on the sticker attached to disc sleeve,8 digits ? tried all the numbers on back of case still no good, say's in the instruction book key should start with 1057, there is no numbers starting with this on mine, please help need this working asap thanks.

You mentioned that you are purchasing through Amazon.  Have you been in contact with the seller?  If you are getting more than one package from them without a serial code then they should certainly be notified.
I would recommend purchasing Photoshop or Premiere Elements 13 from Adobe directly or an authorized reseller.  You can find a list of Adobe Resellers at Find an Adobe reseller.

    WHICH version I had on my PC, I had advised that I was using 8.1. They never asked what was the ORIGINAL OS?

    thanks for replies.  I suppose it would be helpful for me to explain why I needed the product key and the new Microsoft Windows 8.1 discs in the first place.  This was never a matter of merely trying to activate the OS.  Last week- my
    notebook went in to standby mode- a very normal process when I would step away from the notebook for a decent amount of time.  When I tried touched the power button to release it from stand by, I received a message that the OS was not able to start up
    due to TWO (very specific) files that were either missing or had been corrupted.  The message recommended re-installing the OS in order to re-insalll or otherwise correct the file errors.  I spent a good 3-4 hours researching this on a number of
    Microsoft/ IT sites, and it appeared this was a very common error -stemming from "boot disk error" -or "errors with hard drive/ partitions".  I then began my trek to a) locate the product key (of which I was able to secure from the BIOS) and b) have Microsoft
    send me the Windows 8.1 discs.  Hope this helps and thanks again.

    I have a Tecra S1 where the original hard disc has completely crashed. I put in this laptop a new hard disc and would like to instal windows again. Unfortunately I do not have the original windows CD that should be delivered with this laptop. Till now I have tried 3 setup CD's but all these CD's do not recognise the product key on the bottom of my laptop.
    Does anyone know how to get a correct installation CD?
    Does anyone know what to change to get the CD's I have here to accept the key on the bottom of my computer?

    Hi Martijn,
    I think you mean the product key on bottom side of the notebook, right?
    Well, this key doesnt work with normal Microsoft disks because its an OEM license key and belongs to preinstalled Windows version.
    If you install Windows from a normal Microsoft disk you have to use the key that belongs to this disk!!!
    You can also install Windows from Toshiba recovery disk but if you dont have such a disk ask your local service provider for that.

  • New install of SQL 2014 Std MSDN. Get "The SQL Server product key is not valid. To proceed, re-enter the product key values from the Certificate of Authenticity (COA) or SQL Server packaging."

    Trying to install a new version of SQL 2014 Std 64 or x86. Installing on Windows 8.1Pro 64bit machine.
    I get:
    "TITLE: SQL Server Setup failure.
    SQL Server Setup has encountered the following error:
    The SQL Server product key is not valid. To proceed, re-enter the product key values from the Certificate of Authenticity (COA) or SQL Server packaging.
    Error code 0x858C0017."
    I looked at the summary log and that is the only error.
    I made sure there were no other instances of SQL on this machine. Uninstalled all VS2013 and sql instances just in case. IF there is somewhere to check if a previous version or license is causing the issue, i would be glad to check.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    I received a product key for Windows 7 Professional N whilst I was at University via Dreamspark. I'm building a new computer and when it's come to inputting the product key, it comes up saying Product key will not work with this edition of Windows 7.
    The version I installed was Windows 7 Professional using an iso and a USB. I rang the phone activation number and when I got through to a representative, I gave him the product key and he said it is valid and should be working. He transferred me to technical
    services but instead I got cut off.
    At this point I'm really not sure what the issue is, the key was for Windows 7 Professional N, I installed Windows 7 Professional and customer support confirmed it as a valid key. Am I missing something?

    Hi, I'm helping StringSinger2 with this problem.
    The previously installed version is Pages 3.0.3 (the same as from iWork 08). This version (Pages 3.0.3/iWork 08) is incompatible with Pages 5.
    That is why it would be helpful to install iWork 09, which is the version between the two. It will open the older 08 files, and its saved files are readable by the new Pages5.
    SO...
    When I try to install iWorks 09 from my retail DVD the error message is "the installer is damaged". (I know the dvd is good, I installed iWorks09 to my laptop today.) Is the "installer" part of the system files? And - If that is damaged is there a patch for that?

  • PE 9 will not load after installing Elements 10

    Installed Elements 10 on Vista 64-bit.  Did not uninstall Elements 9.  Now PE 9 will not load; get window Adobe Premiere Elements.exe - No Disk.  There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive\Harddisk2\DR2.  Tried disk 2 of 3 from package, nothing happens.

    Tried twice, PE9 still locked up both times - I think the intent is to have me try PE10, because that did work!!!

  • Visio professional 2013 cant install because office product key does not match

    I'm the IT manager for a small consulting company. We use the full microsoft stack - all paid for.
    When one of the consultants needed visio we went along and bought an digital version of it.
    We installed it and all was nice and dandy.
    The consultant left the company, we decommissioned the visio product from his laptop which was then recomissioned to a new employee without the visio.
    Another consultant is now in need of visio. When trying to install visio according to the instructions we are asked to activate the office account on this specific laptop.
    We then get a message that this office Product key is activated through another Microsoft account please log out and log in with that account?
    We are using the exact same procedure as when installing the visio the first time (the visio sw is not installed or used on any other machine).
    We have a multi license (volume) windows and office agreement with product keys.
    AND WE ARE STUCK - SPENDING MORE TIME ON THIS THAN IT WOULD ACTUALLY COST US TO BUY ANOTHER Visio license!
    I've used Microsoft / windows / office throughout my career but this just is not professional!
    Please help – To me this is not a support issue that I should spend support money on. We have purchased all products and we cannot get it to work.

    From your description, you had a digital version of Visio professional 2013, it was a retail version. Please give me the whole error message when you
    activate Visio.
    As far as I know, we need to uninstall Visio professional 2013 online( keep connection with internet),then we could re-install and activate it. If you uninstall
    it from consultant' laptop offline, it'll store the product key in the laptop.
    I recommend you activate a Microsoft product by using Microsoft Product Activation Center

  • I installed windows 7, I restarted my computer with the install disk still in and it made me reinstall but my product key would not work anymore.

    So I had installed windows 7, but I didn't know how to go back to the os-x so I just turned my computer off then back on but it stayed on windows but asked me to install.  I'm guessing it was because the install cd was still in the disk drive.  So when i started the installation process again I got to the point where I had to type in my product key but because I had already used it my product key was unavailable.  So I'm wondering if there's a way to get my product key to work again.  I called microsoft tech support and they told me that I had to talk to someone at apple and I'd like to at all costs avoid paying 50$ to be told to call microsoft.
