How to activate product/License key?

Could you kindly check below screen capture and find out a way how to proceed on.
I would also suggest you consider removing/obscuring the screen capture which shows your *private* product key.
(this is a publicly accessible web forum, and the key is your paid-for-license entitlement...)

Can't activate product-license key?

So i recently bought an acer windows 8 64 bits, and everything was going smoothly until one day a virus from the internet affected my system, and now most of my drivers are gone with no backup or any cd to install them, and windows doesn't function well
anymore, like i can't change lock screen or purchase from windows shop, and even a mtp USB errors with no solution, I've tried many methods like contacting the manufacture for support, and I even tried PC cleaner and it gave like a thousand error messages,
and the only solution is to use the license-product key, however my product-license key is invalid for some reason, and I don't have an original windows disc to do a proper format, so please help me, and sorry for dragging this, it just that I'm really frustrated,
hope you guys give links a video would be great because I'm not very knowledgeable about computers.

How to recover lost product license keys and not just Microsoft licenses?

Which products have you tried? Have you looked at Magic Jelly Bean? Depending on the OS and software, some keys are not retrievable. You should also know that certain software are not transferable from one PC to another, reference the license terms of each for clarification.

There are so many products out there that claim to recover lost software license keys and all of the ones I've tried either recover only MS license keys or no keys at all. I'm trying to recover keys from my fathers old system to install on his new one and some of the products he used do not have the keys available. Anyone out there with a viable product key recovery tool that will get back more than just MS license keys?
My father will be greatly pleased.

Windows 2008 Server License Key not working on VirtualBox

I have a validated licensed copy of Windows 2008 Server and I need to load it on a Virtual machine (I am running Oracle VirtualBox). When I had the server running on a hardware based server it worked fine. The license key activated and it worked. Now when
I load it onto the VirtualBox solution it fails. It will take it when I run the manual command but will not show my server as activated. This is for my private use only (internal home LAN) but I would prefer to have the activation be correct since I use this
setup to help keep fresh on Windows 2008 servers while being on a Linux OS with a VM software loaded. What can I do to have this server activate correctly under the VirtualBox?

Base on my experience, after we convert a physical computer system to virtualize environment we need to reactive it, with MAK active method we need keep this vm to connect to
internet and with KMS method please confirm this vm can communicate with your KMS server.

Windows 7 in domain Cscript.exe c:\windows\system32\Slmgr.vbs /ato = license key not found

Hi,
1 Windows 7 machine doesn't want to activate its license key after deployment.It says "this copy is not genuine".
When I run >Cscript.exe c:\windows\system32\Slmgr.vbs /ato it says "Error: product not found."
It seems as if it doesn't find the local/general KMS key (needed to activate the key).
I was wondering if somebody could explain the working of this KMS key so we can analyze/troubleshoot.

Sysprep and keep license key not working

Hi,
I am using sysprep on some technet license keys. I created an unattend.xml file (below) and selected a generalise and OOB sysprep execution. However, on reboot, I still get prompted for a license key.

Well that's why it's asking it... this is a retail media right?
If you want this to work, you have to use volume activation media and key (MAK or KMS). More info here:

Silent install application with varying license key (not with TS)

Hi guys
I want to deploy an application through sccm 2012 r2 with a license key in the command line. So far no problem, with the paramater
ISX_SERIALNUMBER="XXX" I can handle that. So command line looks like:
msiexec /i "XY.msi" ISX_SERIALNUMBER="XXX"
But here's the problem. That license key changes very often, usually a key can just be used for 2-3 installation. After that I get a new key which I have to use (we have no volume licensing... yes I know... do not ask...).
I tried to create a machine variable (device - properties - variables) with the license key. but I didn't manage to get the variable in the command line correctly. I tried
ISX_SERIALNUMBER="%variable%" but it didn't work. I realised that those variables just can be used with a TS. But I really don't want to use a TS for software deployments...
After that I thought I'll try to get the variable with powershell and it worked. But just with an Administrator account who has access to the server. If i run the script in system context while deploying, it fails...
Does anyone have another way to deploy Software with a Licence Key as a computer variable? Or any other way to specify a specific Licence key for a specific computer?

Basically you create a database to store your licences and it will update the fields to assign a computer object with the licence. Enter a column for Licences and one for Client. Set both to be type varchar(50) and allow for Null entries.

Logon refused, valid license key not installed

Earlyer i posted one error on lisence key where i unable to login through a user. The error message comes like" logon refused( valid license not intalled)

when i Retry the installation it stopped automatically. The MMC started successfully. The only problem i got is license key is not valid through Tcode 'slicense'. The license expires status come with some invalid characters.
I think the problem is in the installation.

License key not accepted

Hey, how come the darn 'puter won't accept my iWork '05 license key? This is, I think, the 2nd computer I will have installed it on.... I just replaced my iBook.
It consists of five 4-character groups. I tried it with and without hyphens. The "submit" button remains grayed out, and if i hit return it says it's not a valid key.

License Key not registering - trial version notification reoccurs

Hi Everyone,
I've installed Xcelsius 2008 and I've entered a valid keycode in the trial version notification. It accepts the keycode, but everytime I start Xcelsius again it has the same prompt.
Here are the troubleshooting steps I've tried.
Completely uninstalled all Business Objects software (removed orphan files/folders and cleaned registry of all Business Objects entries)
Tried using the license manager within Xcelsius to register the license key
As you can imagine it is pretty frustrating having to enter the keycode everytime i start Xcelsius.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could you go to Registry under->Hkey-Local Machine->Software->suite12.0->Xcelsius and check if the keycode string is present there and has the same keycode which you enter?

Product License Key

I recently downloaded and installed call blocker pro. I put in the license key when prompted, but it keeps saying I am entering the wrong numbers. I am entering them exactly as I saw them on the screen. Can anyone help?

Unfortunately no.
I have my brother-in-law working on a possible algorithm for this. He is one of those mathmatics nuts, just talking to him about some of this stuff can give you a headache. (He's a very nice person really).
I will post any results we come up with on this thread to allow others to use the code, but it may take a month or two...

Product Registration Key not sent...????

Long time OTN member, successfully registered DevSuite which came in the back of a Course Technology book. Last OTN dialog said reg. key would be emailed in a few minutes...NOT. still waiting. Any suggestions? Trying to re-register doesn't work.

Yes, my email is correct. I have recently received responses from OTN. Something about this .jsp is broken. Somebody needs to check it out.
In the mean time, I really need the Reg Key for this product.
I even tried re-registering with another email account. Same result, I did not receive an email with the reg key. Some thing is broken.
Is there another way I can get a reg key. I am a college instructor preparing for a new course using this product and I really need the Key NOW!!!!!

Has anyone tried the JDO tutorial provided with Kodo 4.1.2? Everything works fine until I try to create the mappings with 'mappingtool -p jdo.properties package.jdo'. Then I get:

license key was found. Please ensure that you either have a valid "license.bea"
file in your CLASSPATH or in the directory specified by the "bea.home" environme
nt variable, or else that you have a valid license key specified in the "kodo.Li

I think the problem is getting Kodo to recognize the license outside of a web application. I am trying to use Kodo in a standalone application and obviously need it to recognize the license key.

I don't think the problem is getting Kodo to recognize the license outside
the web application (I am also working on a standalone application). I think
the problem is that the code still requires the "old" solarmetric license
key next to the bea license key. I actually run into the same problem if I
don't specify both keys. Since I still have several important bugs already
open for months and registering an issue requires writing complete testcases
including manuals how to use these test cases, I actually didnt even bother
to register this one.
