Product Locker corruption Ref No. E61233659

My product locker is corrupted showing duplicated items and items with black box with sony displayed in the black  with duplicated registered dates.  Some items I can delete but at the bottom of the list it just adds back another duplicated item.  Other items does not allow me to even delete.  This reference was opened on May 18.  After three separate phone calls the last tech (today) stated to post the issue here for resolution.. Ref number E61233659.

Yes, I'm familar with how to delete items.  This ref # has been looked at from a team at sony.  I don't know if you are part of that same team.  However, today I checked to see if I was now able to delete items that previously did not have the X now have the X. So now I can hover over them and was able to delete. So I deleted them.  Since I believe this was being worked on last week it now may be resolved.  My question now, is that some items that I did register are no longer in the product locker.  Do I add them back even though some are past warranty dates?  I use this locker to keep track of inventory of Sony products. The other issue that still has not been resolved is I'm able to login to product locker using  previous P/W and current P/W under the same email address

    (1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):
    http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459
    (2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
    (3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
    (4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
    (5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

  • Java 1.4.2_03 Windows: The configuration data for this product is corrupt.

Trying to install j2SE 1.4.2_03 JRE on a Windows system (exact version needed for a bussiness application) after all previous Java installations have been deleted and all Windows Registry Java related keys have been manually deleted with Regedit.exe.
The EXE installer works properly in other machines but in this one it stops after a few seconds with the following message:
"The configuration data for this product is corrupt. Contact your support personnel".
The problem is related to the Windows install mechanism rather than the Java installer itself and likely caused by the manual Registry deletion.
The error code is 1610: ERROR_BAD_CONFIGURATION.
Reinstalling Windows didn't fix the problem.
Unable to recover the system to a previous state with the System Recovery Tool (Accesories/System Tools).
Other versions of Java installers fail the same way and show the same message.
I don't know how to contact "my support personnel" nor who they are.
I'd appreciate any help about this problem or what Java installers need within the Registry to work or a clue of any kind.

Sorry for the duplicated message. It's my first post and I messed up a little with the right section.
A new downloaded copy of the file or other versions of Java failed to install with the same error message.
I've learned there is a product ID in the registry that must be present for the installer to run. I'm searching for this "mysterious" product ID and how to set the right Windows XP Registry entry for the JSE 1.4.2_03 version.
I'm still not sure this will fix the problem.
    Thanks for replying.

  • Products.jar corrupted ?!

    Hello Collegues,
i am trying to re-install oracle database but getting error "products.jar corrupted".
This file actually is not corrupted, probably something is left after remove by runInstaller...
Have no idea what i have to delete/change after database uninstall by runInstaller?
Should i uninstall SAP too (CI and half od DB instance)?
    Thank you in advises.

    The process is as follows:
    - start sapinst
    - sapinst prompts for Oracle installation (use the RUNINSTALLER script in the SAP subdirectory under Disk1, not the standard runInstaller from Oracle
    - install latest patchset
    - install latest patches
    - continue with sapinst
You didn't tell, when you get this error about a corrupt products.jar.
Check the installation guide what you need to delete if you want to reinstall.

After clicking one of the circled links, you should be taken to another page, and after a few seconds you should see a download dialog appear for the msicuu2.exe file. Here's a screenshot of what it looks like for me in Firefox:
Choose to Save the file. If the dialog box does not appear for you, click the link on the page that says "CLICK HERE IF IT DOES NOT". Here's a screenshot of the page with the relevant link circled:

When we do master products load IDOCs getting into 51 status. When we verify the error information the message says Product is locked by user who is basically an agent. We tried to verify and replicate in our system but not successful.
Can any one came across the same situation in your systems and if you know any solution please let us know.

    Hi,
I have been having LMS trouble with one RAC setup for a while now and opened several SRs. While I am waiting for a (working) patch, disabling DRM seems to be a workaround that helped. With these two parameters set, I have seen no more LMS crashes
    alter system set "_gc_affinity_time"=0 scope=spfile sid='*';
alter system set "_gc_undo_affinity"=FALSE scope=spfile sid='*';I think you should bring all instances down (at the same time) before restarting with these parameters.
All this being said, these are hidden parameters, you should contact oracle support, don't just blindly trust me on this and set these parameters. you are warned.

  • Product recovery - corrupted file

    Hello,
I have a very old Toshiba Satelite which i wanted to give to my little brother. Before that i wanted to preinstall it after i had used it for several years.
I have the product recovery disk and i did the procedure with the recovery. After that though windows does not want to load giving me the above error. I thought this disk was supposed to pre-install the whole windows to its original version. The laptop was never preinstalled.
    Can i save it?
I know it is an old machine and so on but it will be useful to my brother.
So, can i fix that or my old poor laptop is dead? And also - i have only this disk - Product recovery. Am i missing the disk with the OS or it was supposed to be on the recovery disk?
    Thank you!

It is suppose to be on the Recovery media . Its already corrupted . you can order a new set of recovery media or you can re-install the operating system by downloading an ISO .

  • Defect: Product locks up when connection dropdownlist choice made.

    v1.5.1, fully patched.
I understand that the same connection is shared by every tab using it. (I don't like it, but I understand it.)
I have a long-running transaction executing in one tab.
I open up a new sql worksheet and then try to choose a connection for that worksheet.
If I choose the connection being used by the long-running transaction, sql developer locks up and I can't do anything in it at all until the long-running transaction finishes..

    Thanks!
For the benefit of others who might wonder the following:
"Gee, I just came back from my 2 hour unexpected meeting, I wonder which of these sql worksheet tabs has an unshared connection? Because I sure don't remember!"
The sqlconnection dropdown list will be greyed out.
So, if you want to run a script using one unshared connection, then run it again in another unshared connection, you won't be able to change the connection for that tab. (Unless there's another feature that wasn't obvious to me! :) ) You'll have to open a new window, then set the connection using the ddl, then use ctrl-shift-N to unshare the new connection.
I tried Ctrl-Shift-N on an unshared worksheet to see if it acted as a toggle, but no luck.
Don't have time to test what happens if you embed a connect command in your script, whether the unshared connection becomes shared or not after the connect command.
I'm guessing if the worksheet is unshared, you don't have to worry about your dbms_output showing up on a different tab.
