Product receipt copy

Hello,
I bought a tablet 3 months ago and I completely forgot to ask for a receipt copy. I tried the online form, but it says that it cannot find the product when I input the order number? Is there a way I can still get a receipt copy? I have the mails BestBuy sent me for the order/tracking.

Is it possible to edit quantity field or add a new row to a goods receipt copied from a purchase order that has been approved ?
if this behavior was changed from past releases or it always was like that?

Wrong Production Date Copied in Batch Master during GR of STO

Hi Gurus,
Currently, we are facing an issue that the batch master was created wrongly in the following process:-
STO > Goods Issue of Mat A - Batch 1234 from Plant A > Goods Receipt of Mat A - Batch 1234 to Plant B
Batch 1234 -Plant A
Production Date: - 02.04.2010
Shelf Life Exp. Date: - 15.05.2010
During GR into plant B, we noticed that the batch master is created with wrong data:-
Production Date was copied wrongly into Shelf Life Expiration Date. Whereas the Shelf life Expiration Date become the production date?
Batch 1234 -Plant B
Production Date: - 15.05.2010
Shelf Life Exp. Date: - 02.04.2010
May I know this happened? Hope to get advice from you all. Thanks!

this looks pretty much like an error in a user exit that is supposed to copy batch data from one plant to another plant.
I guess your batch level is plant level, in thise case a batch A in plant 1 can be totally different from a batch A in plant 2. hence mayn companies that do not want to switch to a different batch level, implement user exits to control how data gets copied.

One production receipt multiple Inspection

Hi QM,
I have final Inspection with 04 - Inspection type.
Production final goods receipt will happen for the whole production quantity for a shift. But quality people wants need split of production quantity as inspection lot.
Example:
Production goods receipt: 1000Nos
Quality Inspection lot will be a 250nos as one lot, like 4 lots (1000 / 250).
Note: My client doesnu2019t want any entry from as spilt entry like 250, 250, 250, and 250. Client wants to enter in single time as 10000Nos.
Please give me u r advice how to do auto spilt the quantity during creation of inspection lot from production goods receipt.

If I understand, you want production to enter 1000 once and for that to create 4 lots of 250 ea. Sorry, no standard functionality for that. I'm not sure why production wouldn't do 4 confirmations. When is the 1000 put in? If its not until the end of day, QM won't have any inspection lots to record against. If they do it in the morning before everything is actually made, they might not make it.
Don't let production drive everything. This is an integrated system and sometimes folks have to do things they don't like. QM shouldn't have to take all the hits to adjust ot everyone else. This happens over and over again in projects with QM. Production needs to confirm the product when they make it. If the material is bundled every 250 units, or inspected every 250 units, than they should confirm every 250.
The only possible solution is for QM to use inspection poiints. Then you create a new inspection point for each 250 units. This might be a problem if you are batch managed and want to use an average of the results as IP don't copy the average of the results to the batch for 04 lots using IP.

Copy control option in web ui-physical product not copied from oppertunity

I am making quotation from oppertunity by using follow -up document functionality in WEB UI, but when I select the quotation transaction type in follow-up then header data got copied but physical product from oppertunity not copied into the qotatio.
Follow up functionality working properly in GUI.

There is a standard process of Copy Control to copy the data from Interaction Record to activity but now my client requirment is to copy the data from Activity to Interaction Record.
In Detail - when user select the activity from Agent inbox and clicks on Edit button then IR gets created in background then at that moment i need to copy the Notes & Description from Activity to IR. Even we can check if can copy it when user clicks on END button after edit the activity.
can u tell me how can i copy this data? i tried with copy control but couldn't work.
should i write some code? if yes then where i can write?

Service product not copied automatically from contract

i'm creating a notification referencing a contract item and thereafter creating a service order from the notification.
i'm finding that in some cases the material corresponding to the contract item is getting copied in the service product of service order, while in other cases it is not.
i could not find any difference between the two materials.

A Project is automatically generated from a sales order, when material in line item have been allocated in CN08, This determines which WBS structure is to be used as the basis for project creation, which has also been linked to a STD network, Bcoz SD/PS assign is ON i the STD PRJECT DEFINATION control data.
ON - A WBS leg is created for each sales order line item including similar Network.
In OPSA only one root must not be ticked.

Individual /coll reqmt: left blank /1 individual reqmt.

u will find Project from sales order like CNS41, DB profile- tick selection criteria as sales doc.
value from sales doc will be planned revenue for corresponding WBS.
Creation of project from sales order in SAP Project system is described as assembly processing.
In the Project System only networks can be generated directly from a sales document during assembly processing. Indirectly the system can also generate work breakdown structures, when it creates the network.
1.You start assembly processing by creating a sales document for a material. This sales
document can be inquiry,quotation, sales order.
2. The system then
Configures the material, if necessary
Creates a network using the standard network as a template
Configures the network, if necessary
Schedules the network backwards from the required delivery date
Checks material availability
Costs the network and transfers these costs to the sales document.
3. When you save the sales document, the system saves the network together with the sales
document. If applicable, it also generates a project definition and work breakdown structure.
The project number is derived from the sales document number.

Performance Point Services data source pointing towards wrong datasource after production instance copied in development

We have copied our Project Server 2010 production databases to development server. We have few reports created by using Performance Point Services, but here when we try to open the reports the data source is pointing towards production data source
instead of dev.
We are getting some issue while executing the reports
Request you to let me know what exactly the cause and steps to rectify the issue.

As you have copied data from Prod to Dev reports are pointing to production data sources and reports are unable to display data. Whenever we copy the data from one environment to other then this kind if issue occurs.
We need to modify the data source of all the reports manually so that report point to dev data source.
You have to open data source for your reports and change it from prod to dev then reports will display correct data.

I Created Quotation in CRM, using the copying controls i creating the Contract(CRM), the problem is Product is cannot copy into contract from the quotation,

Its not an ideas system.
Client Business process is Quotatation & Sales Order are creating in CRM
Contracts are creating in R/3.
To decrease their license cost they wants to create Contracts in CRM,
Issue is : When ever am creating a contract with reffernce to quotation, product is not copying to Contract,
help to solve this issue

Creation of production client copy

Hai,
What are the prerequisites for creation of client copy for production?
This is in regard to eleminate the default company codes existing in 000 client. In case if we opt for sap_cust the entire company code is copied.

Production Client copy.

Hi All,
We have just installed a ECC 5.0 Production Server. We are creating a new client. We created the logical system and defined the new client as Production. Now when we run the Client copy from 000 it prompts that the target client is production and cannot be overwriiten. My query is, do we need to define the new client as customizing and then change it to production after the client copy?
Or is there a different procedure for the client copy on production. Please help

Hi Deepak,
You can change the status of this client to Development and procced with client copy and afterwards, change it to Production system status.

WM Storage type for Production receipt

My Requirement is to complete production goods receipt into separate storage types based on PP order type or Work Center of the Production order. We are using co11, order confirmations for the receipts.
My current Scenario
Work center A , PP order type A
Gr into storage type 100
My Future, enhanced scenario
Work center B, PP order type B
Gr into storage type PRD
I can not use Material master Special movement indicator as same item may be produced at both work centers.
Is there configuration that can be implemented, or development like User exit or Badi ?
Appreciate your suggestions !

You have to go for enhancement only using User exit / BADI since in Standard system considers parameters such as operation i.e A - stock removal or E - placement, storage type indicator for storage type search.
