Product Registration Pop

I have a pop up reminder on the PC for the first time today to "register product and enjoy a host of benefits" - how can I get rid of it please - I've already registered and I thought it would be as simple as deleting the product registration link from the start menu. Now I can't close this popup manually or through task manager and hitting OK runs through the registration details pages (it already has my details on it) even if I go through the process and click register it takes me back to the F***ing pop up. Very frustrated - please help.Message Edited by Tony966 on 07-28-200708:45 AM

Glad to find this question raised on your forum, since am having the same problem. I am using Windows VISTA and your "fix" does not match what I see on my screen. I have no "run" option on the start menu? Is the sequence different for Vista? Thanks,Mof
It's hidden by default. To get it visible
. Right click on the Start button, and click Properties.
2. From the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties dialog, click Customize.
3. Scroll down through the list until you shall find Run command. Check the box next to it.
4. Click OK.

I tried to remove all of the Creative programs from my computer, but I continue to get a "Setup.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close." message. This is SO annoying. Can someone please help.

I have tried uninstalling the program from my computer twice. I have tried registering the product several times. I have attempted to use customer support and the knowledge base, including the link provided in the message, but to no avail!!
I love this little product, but this is very frustrating. I have wasted numerous hours trying to get ride of this annoying pop-up window.

This may take a few seconds. Please wait... Sound Blaster X-Fi"? It does nothing at this point but just sit there and take up space on my window and eat up about 3.5MB of memory. If you don't want to see this again. Go to program files, either using Windows Explorer or double click the computer icon on the desktop, locate the creative directory and delete the product registration directory, then delete?the registration?icon in the creative?group and?the icon on the desktop.

  • "ni product registration" window

For the past couple of months, a window titled "NI Product Registration" will randomly pop up shortly after I've logged into my Windows XP work station.  I've entered the request info long ago after installing LabVIEW2010.  Now I just close this window.  What can I set or reset to stop this annoyance?
    thanks,

    Hello Eric,
No, the window (screen shot attached) seem random as to which instance of my log into Windows.
I have just installed LabVIEW 2010 SP1 (from the 2011 DS1 subscription disks that I received today).  When I rebooted, the same Product Registation window appear and I, once again, filled it out.  I won't be able to reboot until tomorrow (after to get some work done).
    Thanks,

  • Registration 'Pop-up'

Even though I purchased Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional a few years ago and registered it as required, I have recently started getting the Registration Pop-up screen appearing EVERY time I look at a PDF document. Even if I register again, it still keeps coming up.
I have emailed Adobe suppport, about a week ago and I haven't received any acknowledgment of my issue.
How do I stop this 'Pop up' appearing everytime please?
    Many thanks

I have exactly the same issue - every now and again I am told I have to sign in to use PS CC.
I also get frequent requests to complete my registration - I put my email / password into the web page and ...nowt!  The equivalent of an egg timer allthe time.  If I open another tab in FF, I am logged in?
    What is going on?
How can I trust a product that does not give me access when I need it?  I travel frequently and often to areas where there is no wifi not cellular coverage to "register" which means some day I will be stuck with a useless laptop and unable to do my work on CC.
Thank heavens I still have the standalone versions installed.  If it makes any difference, I clear my cache of cookies and browsing history every time I close my browser.
    Frustrated!
    All ideas appreciated!

  • The curse of creative product registration and its inevitable invunarabil

:angry:Unhappy with Vista!Unhappy with creation! For the love of man, can someone tell me why my creative product registration continues to flourish? I have registered it,tried to delete it,but still it returns to my taskbar to mock my inability with computers. I get a brand new kick-ass transformers desktop and what pops up again but a "gentle reminder" to register! If this is gentle than I'd hate to see what forceful was! I have an MuVo v00 mp3 player and would be in anyone's debt eternally if they could save my computer's soul from the devil that is Creative! On the plus side my mp3 player works great.....

  • Product Registration doesn't accept the Serial Number of my Time Capsule

    Hi,
I've bought a Time Capsule 500GB a couple of months ago (at Apple Store - Fort Lauderdale) and several times I've tried to register it's Serial Number at Apple's Product Registration website. I always get the same error when I type the SN: "We could not recognize the serial number you entered. Please re-enter it, making sure each letter or number is correct."
The problem is that I've checked the SN several times (physically at the bottom o TC and via AirPort Utility) and the SN is CORRECT.
Have anyone faced this problem before?

I just had this problem today. I received my TC for Christmas and my parents bought it a week before the holiday from my local apple store (Norfolk, VA). I have been having other problems with my TC and wanted to get online support, that's when I first discovered the problem with the SN. I attempted to register it online with my already existing apple ID and it still didn't work. I finally called tech support. I didn't tell the guy I was having problems registering it with the SN, he typed it into his computer and didn't say anything. After attempting to trouble shoot my other problem I told him about the issue with the SN. He did say that when he put in my current SN that it brought up a message saying that there was "no support" for my TC. I had read that there is complimentary phone support for a certain amount of time for Mac computers and iPhones, but I guess there is not for the TC (what BS!!). Either that or he kept saying that my parents must have "bought it early." I didn't ask this, but I should have, if that meant that there was no warranty on it?? But anyhoo, long story short (sorry for rambling) because he put in my SN and my existing information it automatically registered everything and when I logged back onto apple.com and went to get online support (because the problem wasn't fixed) my TC was now listed as my registered products. You may just have to call like I did. I have no clue why though??

  • Proof of Product Registration

I'm trying to purchase Safeware insurance for my macbook. I called them up and they said all I needed is proof of product registration for my macbook. This macbook was a gift so I do not have the original receipt. I asked if I could simply print out my warranty status from Apple's website, they said no, I need some sort of proof of registration. I already registered my macbook, and received a confirmation, but the confirmation doesn't have any unique serials, not even my name or address, so I do not think this is going to fly with Safeware insurance. How do I get proof of product registration?

    Welcome to Apple Discussions.
I would recommend calling back and speaking to someone else at your insurance company and explaining the situation. Another possible solution is if the gift is recent you can ask the "giver" for a gift receipt that they can get from the seller they bought it from.
You can also contact Apple directly and pose your question, we're users just like you so in this case I think going right to the horse's mouth (Apple) you have a very legitimate question.
    Regards,
    Roger

  • Apple Product Registration

I just tried to register my Macbook and Time Capsule online.
When it got the end of the process it said it would like to offer me one of two 'gifts' for registering my products, I think it was a few issues of MacWorld and some other magazine. 'No thanks', I thought, 'I don't need anything delivered to my home, killing trees and all that, plus getting plugged into that whole magazine list trading world.
Anyways, I don't think they give you a chance to say no, they only give you a chance to select one of two magazines. I panicked at that point and started to his the back page button and regretted trying to register my products. I've got receipts anyways, and I've signed up with AppleCare and they seem to have the serial number of my mac when I call for support so maybe the product registration process is a red herring anyways just to get you to pick between to Apple magazines.
Am I wrong? Was there a way to opt out of getting one of two magazines when you register your products? If there isn't that was the first time dealing with Mac was unpleasant and greasy. If there is a way, never mind.
    Cheers

In my case, I chose the MacWorld magazine, and somewhere along the registration process it said that I could choose a digital subscription in which no magazine would be delivered to my door. However, if you did not fill out any of the forms for information after clicking one of those subscriptions, it won't get delivered to your door.

  • Apple product registration/ apple iPad 2 accessories

How to register Apple accessories like IPad dock, iPad camera connection kit?
As u know, the product inside comes with a paper tht states 1 year warranty!
But when I go to apple product registration page to register my products, I couldn find the names of those apple accessories!

And if really spoiled before the 1 year, how to make a claim?

  • Can I transfer a license or find out the current status of the product registration.

    Hi,
I purchased your software as part of a business, I was wondering how I would either transfer the product registration, or at least find out the status of the registration. I have several different products - LabVIEW, TestStand and some other misc. discs.

  • 1) "Care Pack" product registration page error 2) Driver download page error - links don't work

I cannot register my printer because the page has "Care Pack" product registration page has errors:
    https://register.hp.com/americas/flowPage/registration/index.do?execution=e1s1
I fill in all the information and click the blue "Submit Query" button, and nothing happens except 3 silver "Submit Query" buttons appear below where it says, "Search results" "Select the product that you want to register." But there are no results! And why 3 buttons if no results?
Cookies and scripts are enabled. I did that and refreshed the page before I entered anything, so nothing is getting rejected.
It seems the website has a lot of problems...the download links on the driver page wouldn't work either, so I had to get them from a 3rd party. I am lucky to find a reliable site! (The driver was official and the printer finally installed correctly, which it couldn't even find if I let Windows search online!)

  • Problems with the registration pop up menu

is there a reason why that when i go to open a document in either photoshop or indesign, the registration pop-up window comes up completely blank, won't go away and i can't go on to type or edit the document at all? i've just tried illustrator now and that is the same.

    Hi,
Could be many things, we should start with this...
    "Try Disk Utility
    1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
    2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
*Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
    3. Click the First Aid tab.
    4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
    5. Click Repair Disk, (not Repair Permissions). Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106214
Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive & clear caches.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.

  • Preinstalled Adobe cs6 Master Collection has no access to product registration, how should I go about reinstalling?

I recieved a laptop from a friend that had Adobe cs6 Master Collection on it, seemingly activated (no trial timer in sight). the problem is, i plan on reinstalling windows and would like to keep this $2000 collection of software, but i cannot find the activation key (the product registration information is seemingly not available, along with deactivation and updates) , or anywhere to download an installer. how would i go about finding the activation key, and then where can i find a copy of the master collection to download and install with said key?

If the original owner did not formally transfer the license for the software, the key/ registration is most likely still under his/her ownership in his/her Adobe account, and you have no rights to use it nor to reinstall it on any machine you own, including the one you received.  It will be the responsibility of your friend to deal with this.
