Product relationships data to find partner & warranty category

HI experts,
i have a product created in commpr01 as type material , for this product in relationships warranty category & vendors are assigned
Can any one let me know if there is a FM or table to find for a product a warranty or vendor is assgined which is maintained in COMMPR01

You can take a look at table AUSP as well as CRMD_AUSP_HIST.
The "changed by" and "changed at" are logged on attribute level, not on attribute value level. When you change one specific value, the system does a "re-insert" of all existing values of this attribute.
Take a look at the SAP notes 938426 and 966670 these may assit you in resolving the issue.

BP Relationship Data Mass Maintenance

Hello experts,
We are needed to assign sales force to several relevant Business Partner. We think that we can perform it via MASS. However I could not find relevant Table Name for maintaining the BP relationships from the Business Object type BUS1006 - Business Partner. (the tables exist in it are BP: General Data, BP Role, Shipping Data, Sales Data etc. I have looked all the fileds in these tables, I could not find the field for the relationship as well.)
Is it possible to enter additional table (that keeps BP-Relationship data BUT051) into the business object BUS1006-Business partner or how can we maintain the relationship data from the MASS? Any idea will be appreciated.

Production Related Data

Hi Gurus,
I have an ALV where i am displaying a few columns, the columns being displayed are Invoice #, Customer #, Sales Order #, Material #, Batch #, Serial #, Material Document # and Plant. As per my functional knowledge Most of the fields are related to Sales Data.
The problem is i am supposed to display the Manufacturing plant for a particular Batch. Currently i am picking plant from MCHA/B/* tables which gives me the Distribution Plant.
I was unable to find a link between the Sales related Data and Production related Data so as to link the key fields and fetch Manufacturing Plant.
Any sort of input/suggestion would be highly appreciated.

You can maintain product relationships under relationships.
You can mainatain relationship with business partner as customer in the relationships of the product( finance/material category) under product maintanance ( Txcode: COMMPR01)
But I would like to understand what exactly you would like to achieve using the relationships between BP and products.

Please find below the examples for characteristic relationship and data slice,
1. Characteristic relationship:
Consider that you have characteristics called "Country" and "Continent" in your report (also in aggreagtion level).
You cannot always expect the end user to enter the correct continent for a country. In this case, you can create a char rel
based on the relastionship between these two characteristics (attribute, hierarchy or relationship data loaded to a DSO),where the source is "Country" and the target is "Continent". So when ever the user enters country and continent the char rel validates the entry based on the reference data (master data, hierrarchy or DSO data) and throws error if it s wrong. Apart from this by creating "With derivation" char rel, you can even derive continent value from country with out the user even entering the value in thye report.
2. Data Slice:
Consider that your planning requirement is you need to plan on a monthly basis which is like during current month you caa plan for the next month. In this case all other months except the next month should not be available for planning. In this case you can create a daat slice of type "Selection" where in you select '0CALMNONTH' and then filter it to the variable '0CMONTH' +1
where in you "Exclude" this selection. So now all the other months except next month at any point of time will be disabled for planning.

Question about purchasing data of business partner in SRM 7.0

When we create vendor in ECC with transaction XK01, we can create pruchasing view and company code view of vendor.
But in SRM 7.0, I have not find any place abount company code and purchasing data about business partner?
Any one could provide some suggestions?

Hi Justin,
As in previously releases, SRM 5.0 f.e., not all business partner data available in ECC is replicated in to the SRM procurement system (this can be enhanced via developments). The business partner structure in SAP SRM is different from the ECC business partner structure. SAP SRM business partner data only uses 1 view which holds all the data a vendor can have (BP function: vendor). There aren't any views/tabs in SRM.
Company code and purchasing data is determined via organisational schema (ppoma_bbp) and a company and purchasing organization have their own business partner master record in SAP SRM as well.
Note: Certain vendor business partner settings/parameters are better to maintain via the web transaction 'maintain business partner'.

Hi, experts.
When i do scheduling the planned order,
production finish date differs from basic finish date in backward scheduling as below.
Scheduling: Backward
Basic finish date : 2010.01.22
Basic start date : 2010.01.21
Production finish date : 2010.01.23 09:00:00
Production start date ; 2010.01.22 03:57:09
*GR time : 0.
*Scheduling Margin key : 0.
I don't know why production finish date set in 2010.01.23 09:00. ( Basic finish date +1 day)

1) what is the parameter used in MRP run, Basic scheduling or lead time scheduling
2) you must find a exception Mssg for that plan order in MD04
3) basic scheduling take the time from material master & lead time scheduling will take time
from Routing

I have a product id and I can find Product GUID from COMM_PRODUCT.

Hi,
Are you referring to Product -Set type Relationship , then below database tables will be helpful.
1. Determine PRODUCT_GUID from table COMM_PRODUCT using product id .
2. Determine FRGTYPE_GUID from table COMC_SETTYPE using FRGTYPE_ID which stores Set type Id.
3. Then determine FRAGMENT_GUID from Table COMM_PR_FRG_REL using product guid fetched from step 1 and frgtype_guid from step 2.
For each set type Id there will be a database table created with same name . So all the attributes for a particular product which has that set type assigned can be fetched from this table .
So the FRAGMENT_GUID fetched in step 3 can be used to read the Set type attributes assigned to that product from the database table created with the set type Id .
Also for all FMs related to a particular set type are available in table COMC_SETTYPE.

Hi Gerd,
Try the FM "BAPI_BUPA_ADDRESS_GETDETAIL", In this FM you need to pass the address GUID and the partner number whic you will get from the table BUT020.
In order to get the address GUID use the FM "BAPI_BUPA_ADDRESS_GET_NUMBERS" and pass the CP number.

Maintaining Product relationships in accessories section in product master

Hi all,
We have a requirement to add the maintenance product in the u201CAccessories section in the Relationships tabu201D of the CRM product master data.
Kindly let me know the standard FM/BAPIu2019s or programs can be used to add the relationship between two products.
Please note we need the FM/BAPI only to do this.

Hi Addy,
These releationships can be maintained directly in Web UI too. If you have tabs like Accessories under Relationships in Products, then in Web UI too u will see an Assignment Block by name Accessories. If you dont, then pick it from personalisation. If its not in Personalisation then you will have to pick it from Page Configuration.
But those relationships can be maintained directly in Web UI too but u wont see any Relationships AB in products in Web UI.
Let me know in case you still have doubts.

It worked fine for me when i import Relationship Data of Type Parent/Child either using Data Manager or using Import Manager.
But the Problem is that if i create relationship of Type Sibling say relationship name "Related_Item" then during Import using Import Manager this "Related_Item" relationship is not enabled when i select into Destination Table. So how to enable this as it is enabled for Parent/Child relationship during Import Manager.
So, i m able to import relationships of Type Parent/Child when created into relationship table of MDM Console. But Relationship of Type Sibling Created in MDM console is not imported using MDM Import Manager but sucessfully exported and imported Relationship of Type Sibling using MDM Data Manager.
So, Could you please check and tell how to import this Relationship of Type Sibling when created into Relationship table of MDM Console using MDM Import Manager.

PPDS production order dates mismatch between APO and R3

Hi Friends,
We are facing one problem regarding production order date mish match between R3 and APO systems specific to a product.
The product is planned in PPDS and the order automatically transfer to R3 through online CIF.
PPM has got two operations 0010 and 0020 and activity relationships are like this:
P(0010) - P(0020) Start - Start relation ship
S(0010) - P(0010) End - Start relationship.
In PPDS dates are shown as :
on operation 0010 the start/end dates are shown as 08.15.09 to 08.22.09
on operation 0020 the start/end dates are shown as 08.15.09 to 08.22.09
Overall order start date is 08.15.09
Overall order finish date is 08.22.09
and in R3 dates are shown as:
on operation 0010 the start/end date are shown as 08.15.09 to 08.22.09
on operation 0020 the start/end dates are shown as 08.22.09 to 08.29.09
Overall order start date is 08.15.09
Overall order finish date is 08.29.09
The order is off one week (APO vs R3) with start and finish dates.
if we change DS Board settings to ignore internal relationships manually then the dates are matching exactly in APO and R3.
We want the production order dates to be matched without manual intervention.
Could some one please provide some hints on what is happening here and how to correct it.

Thanks a lot for your valuable replies in this regard.
Actually this problem is in production environment and it took some time to test the problem with the master data modifications
you suggested.
As DB and Siddhrath mentioned, the problem was with routing definition. There is no parallel sequence maintained in the routing but there is start-start relation maintained in APO PPM.
We corrected the routing definition and checked the order dates. Now the dates are matching in R3 and APO.
I am awarding DB and Siddharth each five points in this regard.

Unable to find partner function for SPL screening

Hi Guys
We are trying out the SPL functionality for our Client, We are in the Preliminary stages and have just started the Intial Configuration
The problem comes is the Document in ECC is getting blocked and is working as per functionality
But when in come in the GTS system and check the Documents via (SPL > Display all Documents) in the overview menu, and go ahead and check the Log, it shows an error stating
"Unable to find partner function for SPL screening"
I have checked the configuration and The partner structure, Functions and Assignment are all done
Can the experts help in getting a small checklist which I should do a check through in the configuration/user side, which can trigger this error message?

Hi Carl,
Did you load the SPL List for Screening? Prior to SPL Screening, we have to create Index for SPL Screening. Please follow the following steps and then re-check the document
SAP GTS Area Menu (/SAPSLL/MENU_LEGAL) -> Sanctioned Party List Screening -> Master Data. Perform the below steps in sequence.
Step 1: Reset Buffer
Step 2: Generate Comparison Terms
Step 3: Aggregate Comparison Terms
Step 4: Comparison terms for Business partners
After doing the above steps, then do the following step
SAP GTS Area Menu (/SAPSLL/MENU_LEGAL) -> Sanctioned Party List Screening -> Logistics -> Check against updated Sanctioned Party Lists -> Check Business partner addresses
After performing the above steps, then re-check the document.
