  • Sequence of dependencies in product spec

    Hi,
Does the sequence of dependencies that I enter in the product spec dependencies tab matters ?
    Ex:
    FromComponent ToComponent
    A B
    B C
    FromComponent ToComponent
    B C
    A B
Does the upper two configurations are same ?
    Thanks,
    Harman

    Hi Harman;
No, the sequence does not matter.
While we're on the topic, also keep in mind that OSM can infer dependencies between order components within a product spec (a.k.a. fulfillment pattern).
For example, if you have a dependency chain like a->b->c, then OSM will still respect the dependency between a and c even if b does not appear in the orchestration plan. This means you don't need to declare a dependency between a->b, b->c and a->c, you just need a->b, b->c. Note that this is supported for dependencies within the same product spec and its ancestors, not across product specs.
    Regards,
    Brian.

  • Product spec means of transport

    Hi Team,
We have means of tranport Truck and Rail
Truck - Transport Duration of a Transportation Lane - 48 hours
rail - Transport Duration of a Transportation Lane - 336 hours
I have maintained product spec means of transport in tlane master i.e.Rail - 336hour
But when i checks product view I could see "start date' and "avia/req date" is only showing two days (48h) transit.
Question - After maintaining product spec means of transpor- "rail" why system is taking truck time instend of rail time ?
    Please advice me

    Hi SDB,
Please check if the Check box for "All Products" in MOT is selected for Truck MOT. This setting can caue the issue you are facing.

  • Control Panel shows only 4GB of RAM but product specs say I should have 8GB

My HP Pavilion Elite HPE-250f desktop is supposed to have 8GB of RAM factory installed, but the control panel only shows 4GB. When I run diagnostics with the Support Assistant software it says everything is working fine but also shows only 4GB of RAM. I've had the computer for several months now and the warranty recently expired. In the past I noticed it said 4GB and thought I must have purchased a computer with only 4GB, but it always seemed odd to me. I looked up the specs online and it says the HPE-250f has 8GB, and it also says 8GB on the box it came in. I have not made any modifications to the computer, and have never opened the cabinet. I am hesitant to open the cabinet, but don't feel I should have to pay a lot of money to figure this out.

    Hi,
Shut down the PC.  Tap away at f10 as soon as you start the PC to enter the Bios Menu - on the first page, you should be able to see the ammount of physical ram installed.

  • The model of graphics card on my laptop and on the product specs on hp website are different

i have an HP Pavilion 15-e001AX   laptop, the model numbers of the graphics card on my laptop and the specifications given on hp site are slightly different.
AMD Radeon HD 8650M/8670M  is specification given on web and AMD Radeon HD 8650G + 8600M Dual Graphics is given on my laptop.
are these 2 the same? if so why is it displayed differently on my laptop?...
    This question was solved.
    View Solution.

    Hi:
The HD 8650M is a typo on the HP specs.  The correct name of the graphics adapter is the  HD 8650G.
That is the onboard graphics adapter.
The 8670M is the discrete video adapter which is supposed to kick in when the graphics demand is too much for the 8650G.
Now for some odd reason, the device manager lists the 8670M graphics adapter as an 8600M because that is how the driver file description for the 8670M graphics adapter hardware ID is labeled.
But your notebook has an 8670M discrete graphics adapter.  There is no such adapter as an 8600M.
The 8600M is the series name.
Below are the graphics adapters in the 8500M and 8600M series

  • Applecare Agent Contradicts Product Spec: 210v or 240v?

I'm going to Argentina next week, and I just got off the phone with an Applecare support agent (on an unrelated issue). I happened to ask him to verify that my laptop (a two month old Macbook Pro) would work with the 220v power in Argentina provided I had an adapter to attach to my power block. His answer was that the specification on the power supply was 210v and that I should not plug the block into an international outlet except through a converter, or else I would burn out the power block and probably the laptop, too.
That seemed weird, so I checked my power block itself. I noticed that the rating printed on the block was for 240v, not 210v (specifically, the input range is 100 - 240v). I asked the support guy why the block says 240v if the spec is 210v and he said he didn't have an explanation, but what his "literature and a bunch of [his] coworkers" were telling him was that the upper range for the block was 210v. He said he couldn't guarantee what would happen if I attempted to plug it into 220.
What the **** is going on here? Is this some sort of known issue where a bunch of blocks got shipped with the wrong specification, or is this guy just an idiot? Do I trust the specification on the device or the Apple support agent?

The person you have been talking to needs to be sent back for re-training.
MacBook power adapters work on 50 Hz, 60 Hz, and Voltages from nominal 110V to nominal 240V. That is intended to cover standard commercial power all over the world. You do not need a transformer. All you need is a local AC power cord to the adapter body.

  • Sony HT-CT350/150 Incorrect Product Specs

Since both of these products are hot sellers right now, I just have to point out that the Best Buy pages for these particular products have incorrect specification information. They will only decode Dolby Digital, DTS, and LPCM audio, just like the HTC-CT100. They do not decode Dolby TrueHD or DTS-HD-MA but will recognize the high-bitrate Dolby and DTS core tracks embedded in those audio streams and play them accordingly.

    Lord Nelson here.
I've reverted back to 5.5.0 as I was experiencing lock-up problems with the BM Intensity Pro.
Unfortunately I haven't found a way of simply uninstalling the update and reverting back to an earlier version.  Win 7 Sytem Restore wouldn't, so I had to uninstall Premiere Pro, apply the Adobe Clean Install utility (or whatever!) and then reinstall PP CS5.5.  Trouble was that it reinstalled the whole suite, not just PP - so I lost all custom workspaces across the suite.
    Grrrrr!

  • My product is unlisted?? Pavillion 15-n265nr

I received an HP Pavillion Touch Smart 15 laptop as a gift.  After fixing the Ralink wifi that didn't work out-of-the-box due to Windows 8 and installing classic shell and my other software, I decided to update all the drivers from HP.  However, HP's website does not recognize my model, product, or serial numbers.
I found a comprehensive list of Pavillion 15 SKUs and the model numbers jump from 263, 264 then to 267.  What gives?  I was able to enter my serial number to check the warranty and that was recognized and returned the correct dates.  Why is my laptop completely unsupported on the HP website?  How am I supposed to get drivers?
Thanks for any help, I've never seen this issue before!
    Dylan

    Hi, Dylan:
This is a consumer to consumer forum.  No one representing HP will respond to any posts here.
This is the only n265 model support page.
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?product=6796216&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&query=15-n265&tool=
Look at the product specs.  If it has the same hardware as yours, then you can use the drivers from this model.
I will report your model is missing and ask HP to provide a support and driver page for it.

  • Product class and Attributes

Can a single product class with attributes be mapped to 2 separate product specification (based on the value of the attribute). Eg, lets say there is a product class called Internet which has an attribute called Site type. The value of the attribute site type could be single site or multi-site. Based on the value of the attribute for the product class, we need to invoke different orchestration plans.
Is this possible? If yes, how can this be achieved? We would also like to know if this is the right approach. If not, how do we model such requirements

    Hi Nagu,
Look at it from a different perspective - The value prop. of Product Class (PC) to Product Spec (PS) mapping is that you don't have to to change the PS, based for every offering based on that specific PC or even if there is an attribute value change (Eg. value of the attribute Download speed changes from 3Mbps to 12Mbps), the PS remains the same. Now, if you like to introduce a new PS for corresponding to every attribute value of the PC, then this value of PS -PS mapping is lost i.e. now you will have to introduce a new PS when the value of an attribute changes, which is not desirable. OSM provides you enough flexibility wrt. to order decomposition, dependencies between order components, dynamic orchestration dependencies etc. to create the orchestration plan based based on the order attributes (which includes the PC attribute values) and you should be looking at these features to achieve your use cases. The recommendation is generic though, if you could flesh out your use case for us, we would be happy to recommend an approach.
    Thanks,
    Deep

  • How does one get the specs

I am looking for the specifications of my powerbook g4... it seems the specs that are on the apple site are somewhat diff than that of my 6 mo old g4.
have looked through apples site and have not found anything... do I need to have my serial number to figure out the exact model?
    PBG4, 1.67ghz, 2gb sdram   Mac OS X (10.4.3)

    Hi mbar --
You can try here. Can't vouch for the accuracy, since it's not an Apple page, but they look pretty authoritative. The October 2005 revision PB specs are first, but if you scroll down, you'll get to your "Book's specs (January 2005 revision).
I don't know why Apple has gotten their collective act together and updated their PowerBook specs page yet. As you've discovered, you still click on the April 2004 link to get to the current PB's specs and there is no link at all for the prior revision.
One would think that Apple would have an accurate and updated product spec page on its own products. But, then again, if one thought that, one would be mistaken.

  • Regarding Product Class Import

    Hi,
Just wanted to Know Can we import the product class in Production enviornment.
What i understand that even if we import but we cannot map to product Spec and will need the deployment . Is this undertanding current..
    Thanks In advance

Product classes can be imported to DS(Design Studio) in design time and should be mapped to ProdSpec manually.
When this mapping is performed in design studio, productClassMapping.xml will be formed which will further used in mapping/validating the upstream products to OSM product specs.
Yes, you need deployment when you are trying to add new product classes into OSM.
Instead of adding prod specs to your orchestration/som cartridge, have a separate cartridge for maintaining product specs and product classes wherein you can refer these from your orchestration/som cartridges. So that your deployment only involves changes in product classes/spec.
Guys, correct me if anything wrongly mentioned above.

I want to know the detailed specs of my computer which I bought from Costco. For example, I want to know the type of harddish interface is SATA II or SATA III, because I want to change a HDD to SSD. But I cannot find the product specs in your website. My product number is E3S19UA#ABA.
And Could I use the mSATA SSD? Because I saw there is a interface on the board but no specs which releases on the HP product website.

  • Creative mp3 and audiobo

It seems a bit silly to post a request for sales help to the forum, but the responses I get from Creative are nonsensical and never actually answer my questions, so here goes. I have a Zen V. After the firmware update that allowed transfer of large files (which Creative claimed was not a software issue), my Zen V worked great for a while. After a year, the battery no longer holds a charge for more than two hours at a time. What I did not realize when I bought it, is that there is no way to replace the battery. (When I emailed them, Creative's solution was to offer me a tutoring session for a fee.) It looks like I'm stuck having to buy a new player. As much as I have grown to hate Creative, I still like my Zen V and they still seem to have the best players for audiobooks. Unfortunately, no one seems to list important details in their product specs. I want something with a replaceable battery, bookmarking and full-time display. I really don't need more than 2 GB and want to keep the cost as low as possible. I don't need video. The Zen Micro seems to be the best option, but I haven't been able to locate it on Creative's website.
Does anyone know if the Micro is no longer being produced? The Stone with speaker could be an option, but does it have a replaceable battery and does it have bookmarking and full-time display? Are there any audiobook users out there that can make a recommendation?

The Creative Zen Micro (4,5,6 GB) and MicroPhoto (8GB) has the bookmark function.
