Product type 56A-Posn cash flows Sec Acc Class-Calculation stops after 2017

Hi All
I created product type 56A with a security class ID repaying finally in January 2020 & with interest conditions of 5.5% throughout. But I see the position cash flows in FTR_EDIT for that product type only showing interest flows till 2017 instead of till 2020.
Is there anything that I need to do to get this calculated till repayment date?
I checked my calendar & it is active till 2050 for the currency USD.  My company codes local currency is USD.
Thanks
Regards
Morgan

Hi All
This reply may not wholely relate to your issue, but we faced similar issue with Securities - Debentures, we had created the transaction till 2020 but the we were able to see the flows only till 2014, later when we checked with SAP, they gave us the solution that under following config we need to maintaine blank or zero in the field CM period (Cash Mgn.), then it worked.
The path is
IMG->Financial Supply Chain Management->Treasury and Risk Management->Transaction Manager->Securities->Master Data->Product Types>Define Company Code-Dependent Settings for the Product Type.
Also we had to run tcode FWUP for the particular transaction and then check with tcode TPM13 to check whether flows exits.

  • Product type 56A/56B - How do we draw down principal amount?

    Hi All
I created a credit facility using product type 56A & transaction type 200.  I have flow types 1204, 1205,1206 & 1207 associated to the facility. I created a total credit line of 25 million dollars in the profiles tab & created condition types 1204 & 1205 in charges tab.  Now I want to draw down 10 million of the 25 million available to me.  How do I do this?  If I try to pick 'List:Drawings' option in the profiles tab,I do not see any create button there.  SO I am guessing there is another tcode or something to draw down.  Please advise.

    Hi Renatas
Thanks for the quick response.  I understand now.
I have another question.  Can I control the product types that could use this credit facility?  I thought about hiding this option in field status for those product types that I do not want to use this with & show the facility field in the product types that I want to use facilities in.  Is this the only option?  The reason I ask is I see a rules tab in the facility & I tried to control it there but it does not seem to work I think.

  • Product type 56A - what do clients use as the underlying

    Hi All
I now understand that you associate some borrowing transaction type/product type combination to product type 56A as a facility in the 'Admin' tab.
The question I have is what do clients normally use as the product type/transaction type combination for these facilties?  Do they do like a 0% interest 55A/200 or do they set up a fixed interest 55A/200.  I mean I am not sure what to advise the client of mine to use.  What product type to use, where to give the injterest (in the 56A or the underlying product type)
Your thoughts & inputs are appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hi Morgan,
just to add a few words to what mentioned by Ravi.
Facility or credit line is a kind of guarantee, that you as a borrower will be able to borrow some maximum agreed amount of funds during certain period of time. And, of course, usually you need to pay certain price for that. Pricing itself really depends on competitive environment.
So, overall you have 2 type of expenses:
    --- interest expenses on facility/ credit line (Product category 560);
--- interest expenses on real borrowing/ drawing (earlier mentioned instruments fixed-term deposits, interest rate instruments, etc.). Usually, interest rate here depends on number of factors, like credit quality of borrower, benchmark yield curve for specific currency, etc., and is almost >0, cause money has certain price.
    hope this will help you.

  • Separate Product type with only partial flows accounting

    Hello,
We have a requirement for mapping the product of Guarantees in Treasury module.
As per the requirement, these guarantees do not need any accounting except for commission / charges. These need to be tracked and hence are defined as a separate product type in 510 category. However while checking the SAP configuration options, it is observed that there is a possibility to exlude product types from accounting or some update types from accounting.
As can be seen from the requirement, the requirement is not to have any accounting only for guarantee amount but accounting for commission is required.
Hence of the 2 options available for excluding accounting viz. product type or update type, none can be used for mapping this requirement.
    Please help.

    Hi,
You can get the reqd function by setting a new product type-transaction type-flow type-update type for guarantee, of this mark all the update types except commission for not relevant for posting in below settings:
    spro-trm-trans mgr-gen settings-accounting-update type relevant for posting.
By doing this only commission flows will be posted with Tcode - TBB1, and guarantee flows will remain in report TPM13 for information purpose.
    Hope this clarifies your reqmt.

  • Derived Flow block for posting in Product Type 55A

    Dear SAP Gurus,
Kindly request your input issues that I have.
Currently I'm maintaining a derived flow type on Product Type 55A (Interest Rate Instrument) and Product Type 56B (Syndicated Facility).
The derived flow were used to generate withholding tax flow type. The source flow is maintain manually as Other Flows.
The derived flow for both Product Type 55A and Product Type 56B were successfully generate. But on Product Type 55A the derived flow were block for posting, the reason is because the 'Previous Flow does not permit for posting'.
What confused me why this block is not happening on Product Type 56B, while I use the same flow type and how to UNBLOCK the flow type so its open for posting again.
    Thanks for the input before.
    Cheers,
    Tedi

    Hi,
In the configuration setup check your flowtype and see whether Calc with Capital Reduction checked. I believe by default SAP has this checked; uncheck it. When this option is checked, it doesn't allow you to make any modifications to the contract if a posting has already occurred. e.g. increasing or decreasing the nominal amount of the contract.
    Hope that helps.

  • Payoff Product Type 55A interest rate instrument structure

    Hello,
I´m using product type 55A Interest Rate Instrument and I have two questions:
    1. Could you confirm me if is possible register a capital payoff no planning in this kind of product type? Which transaction could I used?
2.Is possible to used a partial disbursement? For example,
I get a loan for 3,000.00, at the beginning  the first day I disbursement only 1,000.00 and  2 months later I disbursement 2,000.00. Then the loan calculate at the begining interest in base of  the 1,000.00 and  2 months later calculate interest in base of 3,000.00.
    Please help me.
    Thanks

    Hello.
    1. You can use product type 56A as credit line and product type 55A as disbursment. You can link two product types with "Facility" field on "Administration" tab. Negative side of this method: you have several transactions. Interests are calculated for each 55A prod. type.
    2. You can use product type 55A alone and "Other changes in capital structure" button. You can take several amount of money at any time. Negative side of this method - you are not able to show these 3,000.00 on "Structure" tab. But you can use "User exit X" tab where you can create field for this purpose. Positive side - interests are calculated as you wanted in your post above!!!

  • Contract Condition Cash Flow

    Dear All,
Please If anyone can help me in this issue I am trying to create a contract condition for 7 years from 2014 to 2020 and the contract is for 10 years, And when I simulate the cash flow I only get 2 years 2014 & 2015 and it should be 7 years from 2014 to 2020.
And I made the changes in the Terms to be yearly
And when I simulate the cash flow I only get 2 years 2014 & 2015 and it should be 7 years from 2014 to 2020.
    Best Regards,
    Khairy Soliman

    Dear khairy soliman
When you activate a real estate contract, the cash flow is updated only for the period of time defined in Real Estate Customizing (Default : 2 years).
    and you can check this update period for the cash flow in Customizing as below ;
Go to T-code : RECACUST >> Contract > Contract Type > Define Contract Types
(CF Period : Cash flow Period --> You can define the generated period of cash flow)

  • Cash flow start date and first posting date in REFX-RECN contract

    Hi,
While reviewing old contracts, I have noticed that in contracts where first posting date is mentioned,  the cash flow start date is not editable in contract change screen.  In contracts where first posting date is not mentioned, the cash flow start date is editable in the change screen.
Is this standard system behaviour?  Because i have read in the forum that cash flow start date is not editable after first posting of the conditions.
I tried to change the field status of cash flow start date through RECACUST,  but despite keeping the field status as display,  the cash flow start date remains editable.
Please help on how to make the field status not editable.
    sadhana

    Hi Sidhharth,
Thanks a lot for your immediate reply.
I still have one query.  You have written that
Where First posting date is not updated it indicates that posting of the contract is yet to be done, not a single posting has been performed hence Cashflow date is editable.
This means first posting date is always filled up after condition is posted.  but in our system i find that the date is blank and greyed out even after the 1st posting.
Could it be due to having several conditions in the contract - some with one time posting, some with monthly posting?  eg.most of our contracts have atleast two contions - one for deposit which is one time payment, one for rent.  the first posting date is updated in individual condition for rent in conditions tab  but first posting date in terms tab is blank.     But even in single condition contracts, the first posting date is not getting updated in term tab (the field gets greyout out once contract is activated)
    Thanks once again.
    Sadhana.

  • Securities in Cash Management (Product Type 16A)

    Hello Experts
My client is investing in its subsidiaries and I am mapping this through the securities - product type 16A.
The process that I am following is -
    TS01 (order)>>TS03>>TS04>>TPM28
The problem is that I can only see the impact of the transaction in the cash management FF7B only after the TPM28 trasanction and not TS01 or TS03 0r TS04 - this is required though.
I have done the configuration under -
Financial Supply Chain Management>>Treasury and Risk Management>>Transaction Manager>>General Settings>>Link to Cash Management>>Assign Planning Levels/Specify Update Types for Cash Management (SE1000 update type has been made relevant to CM)
Have also checked the config point Define Company Code-Dependent Settings for the Product Type (under securities node)
Please let me know if this is possible.
    Regards
    Sandeep

    Hi
Have been able to solves some bit of the problem (the FD orders are appearing in the cash forecase). However I am not clear about the interest due - will it appear anywhere in the forecast (or can ths system be configured to reflect the same in the liquidity forecast).
Similarly the bonds issued will have the payments due on account of interest (can this be brought under Liquidity)
I am using the BNK key should I use the PSK key for such items.
Aalso I was reading in the SAP training materila that the planning group can be specified in the BP master (verbatim below) but i could not fing out where in the BO master it may be.
The update to Cash Management distinguishes between two cases:
    u2022 Option 1 (liquidity forecast):
If no payment details have been maintained in the transactions, that is, the
bank accounts are not known, the cash flow for a bank account or bank
clearing account cannot be displayed. To ensure that the cash flow appears
in Cash Management, the amount for subledger accounts is displayed. The
system then draws on the planning group specified in the master record for
    the business partner.
    u2022 Option 2 (cash position):
If payment details are specified in the transaction, that is, the bank accounts
are known, the cash flow appears in CM on the level assigned to the relevant
    bank bank (clearing) account.
Thanks for your time and valuable input.

  • Product type 04I - subledger flows - how do I post?

    Hi All
I am able to set up a fixed interest bond after I set up the security class & the security account for it.  I see that the conditions specified in the class determines the subledger position indicator & te security account position indicator.  But I do not see these flows in the 04I instrument's cash flow tab.  I tried to post TBB1 & only the 0100 & 0870 flows are getting posted.
I tried TPM44 but it says accrual is not configured for the product type which is right as I do not see any accrual config for securities.
My main question then is how do I get the subledger position flows to post?  Second question is, is accrual relevant to securities?  If yes, how do I set that up?
    Thanks
    Regards
    Morgan

    Hi Morgan,
--- question #1 - Posting of Securities flows.
    Short intro - in case of Securities, only Purchase/ Sale/ Issue/ Redemption flows are treated as transactional and therefore are visible in the tab 'Cash flows'. All the cash flows, relevant to certain Security Class, can be visible by selecting respective icon 'Position cash flows', where you have at least 2 choices: Security account class (only physical payment flows, like placement, nominal interests payments, repayment, etc.) and Valuation Area dependent flows (physical payment flows and also all kind of valuation flows, like interest accrual, FX valuation if relevant, etc.). For posting of so called transactional flows you should use TBB1, while for other flows, like (interest) payments and final repayments, you should use FWSO;
--- question #2 - is accrual relevant to securities?
it actually depends what kind of Position management procedure is used for certain Securities Product type. If you need to use interest accrual, you should:
    check if exist/ define relevant Update types: IMG -> ... Treasury and Risk Management -> Transaction Manager -> General Settings -> Organization -> Accounting -> Accrual/Deferral -> Update Types -> Define Update Types and Assign Usages;
assign accrual relevant Update types per Product category/ product type: IMG -> ... Treasury and Risk Management -> Transaction Manager -> General Settings -> Organization -> Accounting -> Accrual/Deferral -> Update Types -> Assign Update Types for Accrual/Deferral.
    hope this will help you.

  • Adding field 'Document Type' to Cash Flow Statement form in FSI5

    Dear SAP Experts
I am developing a 'Cash Flow Statement' using FSI5/FSI3 functionality. I need to have a field 'Document Type' in the list of characteristics.
Can anyone of you guide me how can I add this field?
An urgent reply is highly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Syed Zia Abbas

    Hi Abbas,
I have few comments, which should help to solve your
problem. Please take a look to note 43661 which describes the
creation of new forms and reports.
Following are the steps to create the form and report:
FSI4 => Form type: Financial Statement Key Figures => Copy
Form: Name and Text for the new form
                 Copy from: 0SAPRATIO-04
FSI5 => find and double click the new form just created => Edit Gen.
data selection => change the FSV to what you want to use
FSI1 => Report type: Financial Statement Key Figures  => Create
Report: Name and Text for the new report
With form: Name of the new form details please refer to standard SAP report 0SAPRATIO-04
FSI3 => find and execute the new report to check if you can get the
    result you want.
To change the fin. statement version in the general data selections of
your new form is not enough. You have to check each line of the new form
too and replace the fin. statement items with items of your own fin. statement structure.
    - The mentioned forms contain restrictions via for example financial
statement items in rows and years and/or periods in columns. But, if
you execute the reports, you get no results. It is because the forms
are just an example templates for items of financial statement version
(FSV) INT, which is also just a template.
To be able to get requested results, you have to create your own
forms (and reports based on your forms) with restriction via your
own financial statement version (in general data selection) and the
financial statement items corresponding to your FSV (in particular
rows). Otherwise, you cannot get any results, as there are no values
for the template FSV INT and items from the INT.
But it is up to you, how you arrange the form definition. It is
closely related to your own FSV definition.
I hope you find this information useful.

  • Remove/delete duplicate cash flows on facility

    Hi all
Due to a error in SAP std, for a facility a number of duplicate commision flows are created when drawing a contract against a facility. The issue is solved with the implementation of SAP note 1389873 so no more duplicates are created.  Is there a way that I can remove/delete/reset a spesific cashflow manually?  I would like to avoid to have a it removed directly from the table(s)

    Hi,
OK, since SAP given solution for avoiding creation of new flows, it should work with change mode of transaction as well. Try to reset the flows in trasaction if the flows are still scheduled. You cannot seperate flows with same date & update type from activity posting/marked as posting. TBB1_LC can be used for marking flows as fixed. Also, there is a function for reversing flows from Cash flow tab of transaction for money market products. Please check that as well.
And finally, the possible solution will be reverse the entire transaction and create a new one instead.
