Just downloaded oracle 9i Enterprise Database for linux. I would like to know the uses of product like --Is this product for trial version for 30 days or I can use frelly for Developement and testing..
After complete testing I will purchse the product ..
So is this right way or Need to use only for 30 days

The downloads aren't time limited, just license limited. You probably want to read the license agreement, but you can basically use the software free for however long your development cycle is.

Dear Friends,
I really need your help on this issues, recently company that i been working buy 19 Unit of HP Laserjet Pro MFP M125A printer to be install at our 19 branches. All of our branches is using Window XP SP3 and the spec is exceed the minimum requirement stated at the box of the HP Printers which means by rights, it should be no problems.
However, I sent and setup the printer at 4 branches only 1 is a success. others 3 centre is showing the same errors which is A Fatal Error Occured Preventing Product Use. I been trying to install using original CD provided by HP and driver provided at HP Support also given the same errors. The 1 Centre that OK PC spec is almost the same as the others 3 and all using default programs and software. So i dont knows what really is the problem.
This is the things i have done in hoping to successfully install the driver but WITH NO SUCCESS:
Clear temp file, disk cleanup, defragment disk and restart PC.
Reinstall Windows SP3 and restart PC.
Install basic driver only and using control panel > device and printer > add printer (Select Driver Manually). (See Pic Below)
Repair windows using original windows XP SP3 CD.
Re-Check for USB.INF file.
Repair Registry with reg cure.
Uninstall USB support and etc (Google), then re-install the printers.
Uninstall Antivirus, disable all startup and services.
Install using FULL DRIVER, BASIC DRIVER AND DRIVER MANUAL.
Sometime when running the installer, it will prompt the below error signature and HP installer will loading quite long and then crash, but others PC don't have this errors, it straight away to the installation menu until DETECTING PRINTER until 99% and shows errors "A Fatal Error Occured Preventing Product Use".
It seems that almost everythings i try cannot make the printer driver to be install. However, the SCAN driver is install successfully. Currently the printer only can PHOTOCOPY AND SCAN, without being able to print.
Please anyone which facing similiar issues to HELP ME. anythings i can do, to install the printer DRIVER.

I see that you are having issues installing several Laserjet Pro MFP M125A printers on several Windows XP computers. You are getting "A Fatal Error Occured Preventing Product Use". I can help you with this.
What version of .NetFrameworks do you have? Check Your DOTNET.
You might have to run the Windows Updates. I would update the .Netframeworks to 4.0.
I believe HP software piggy backs Internet Explorer. Should have at least Internet Explorer 6.0.
Please try these steps, most likely the wrong driver is getting installed, giving you the Fatal error.
Disconnect the USB cable.
Uninstall the printer software from the CD.
Run the software again, immediately after connecting the USB cable, follow this document to update the driver before it errors out again. A Fatal Error Displays During Software Installation.
If the issue persists, here is a document with some different steps to try.
A 'Fatal Error' (MSI error) Displays on the Computer During HP Software Installation in Windows.

A fatal error occurred preventing product use, LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276nw

When trying to install the full printer software suite, as soon as I click the button to install after the .exe is extracted, I get an alert window with, "A fatal error occurred preventing product use." No error code, just an option to close the dialog. I have read all the related support topics and similar threads and tried all the solutions to no avail. Pasted below is the detailed error log. There is no specific list, it depends completely on the condition types that have been configured in your system.
The answer you were given was a good one and gave you as much detail as you could expect.

The easiest way to find out the "list" is to simply click on the "possible entries" tab at the right of the field. !!!!!!!!!!!

I am considering purchasing the Mac mini for home studio audio production using Adobe Audition and a USB microphone. Will the base mini model run these programs?

The base mini has 4GB and a 5400 RPM hard drive. It is slow to start up and slow to launch large application such as Word (and I'd assume Adobe Audition) due to the slow drive. I've not used a new 4GB model, just the 8GB model, and the 8GB model (except for the slow drive) handles everything I've thrown at it, including running Photoshop, Word, Safari, and Mail at the same time but there is sometimes a delay switching between programs as the swapfile is updated. Overall I was not happy with the 5400 RPM drive (perhaps because I have MBA and iMac with Fusion drive) so I eventually upgraded it with an SSD. Now the mini is truly a warrior.

Web Service Developer Pack for production use?

Can anyone tell me what the licensing is for use of the web services developer pack reference implementations? Can they be used in a production environment, or are they for development purposes only?

We are starting a SAP project from scratch and my manager has asked if we could run the solution on Linux. I know that Linux is supported by SAP, but is the solution mature enough for productive use? Do any off you have any experience with this ?

Get All products using RQL

how can i get a list of all products using RQL or any other ways ?

If you're looking for the RQL for dyn/admin, it would be:
<query-items item-descriptor="product">ALL</query-items>
If you're looking for the code version, it would be something like this:
RepositoryView view = repository.getView("product");
RqlStatement statement = RqlStatement.parseRqlStatement("ALL");
RepositoryItem[] items = statement.executeQuery (view, null);
I would just be careful about doing this if you have a large catalog.

Can not install a second product using Adobe .msi packages

The first package is installed correctly, but the second always fails...
Does anyone have a solution to install multiple applications using Adobe MSI packages?

I found the PDApp.log for the second .MSI package that doesn't work but i don't understood why...
The MSI package works when I install it for the first time but if I try to install it after another one, it doesn't work anymore.
I have the problem with all the MSI Adobe's package, I can only install one but impossible to install another.

Recommendation of use for MaxDB for production use and Oracle comparison

We are about to propose to a customer of ours the use of SAPDB for production use. This would be a good way to reduce license costs.
Previous use of this DB platform has shown that it is mature, but since I am not a basis or DBA, I can't really pinpoint if we miss a lot of functionality.
Who could provide some info on the following:
1 - Are there major functionalities that Oracle provides that MaxDB doesn't?
2 - Customer reference (or your inputs) on success stories.

I would ask:"What functionalities do you expect from a database system?" - and then "Can MaxDB provide those functionalities?". It does not makes sense, IMHO, to compare "possible" things if you never need them.

We run MaxDB (former ADABAS D, former SAPDB) for 12 years now on all our systems. Our main ERP 6.0 EHP4 has a size of 3 TB, we run on Linux serving about 900 users (700 concurrent), a BI with roughly 1 TB (with BWA), CRM with 600 GB, and tons of portals and smaller systems (SRM, SRM-MDM 7.1, GTS 7.2, SolMan, PLM (cProjects), Content Servers and more).
There are, as with every database, "performance problems" in special areas but generally our response times are below 500 ms on the main ERP.
One drawback of the MaxDB is the fact, that it does not use UTF-8/CESU-8 to store the data (yet) so if you use only single byte codepages in a Unicode system, you will neverless consume the full 2-byte space per character.
Basically I think that you can run roughly 98 % of the current systems on MaxDB without any impacts.

    As titled, Debug fails for server0.
    I have checked the forum threads, and my problem is:

    As debugging can only be available on non-productive-use server mode, I couldn't start debugging.
    Any one knows how to change "Productive Use" as "NO"?

You can use the config tool to run the server in debug mode (running the server in debug mode will automatically set the "productive use" attribute to "off"!)
To launch the config tool, run the configtool.bat file located in \usr\sap\<SID>\<INSTANCE>\j2ee\configtool directory. In the lefthand side tree locate your server process and select it. Then on the righthand side go to Debug tab and activate debug mode for this element.
After you save the changes, you need to restart the cluster.

yes, I am installing as the administrator. I have tried to install from
two different folders;
1. c://adobe photoshop elements 10.msi
and
2. c://program files/adobe/adobe photoshop elements 10.msi
get the same error message from both locations.
the error message is not specific as to "root folder"

First, SQL is a standard. Every database vendor implements their own, slightly different, SQL dialect. Whether SQL is free depends on what database you're referring to and how that database is licensed. I face a inbound error queue in R/3 system :Reference product use a different class. What does it mean? I have checked the
classification in apo in product. The value in Reference Product (Loc.-Indep.) is 100_SER. The value in CDP Class is
CL_100_SER. BUt in R/3 the value in Cross-plant CM is 101_SER. Is it because this reason? I don't know the relationship

In R/3 there are two feilds one is cross plant configurable material in basic data 2 veiw. This will appear in APO location independent reference material.
In MRP3 there is plant specific configurable material which will appear in APO as location dependent configurable material.
Genrally these both feilds will have same value.
Secondly Z these feilds need to be assigned material post material is transfered to APO.
Can you give some more details to help you.
Like what is class type assigned in ECC?
