Production After GATP

Question

Dear Expert,
I create sales order in ECC for location 2012 for Quantity 20.000 PC
In APO 2012 as distribution Center and 2011 as Production Plant
After PP/DS Run APO create PlOrd in 2011 and PurRqs in 2012   to cover the requirment
During the ATP From ECC , System consider Both Quantity , but in fact there's only one quantity available
Current Situation :
My order Quantity is 10000 PC
PurRqs : 10000
PlOrd :10000
GATP Consider that 20.000 is available
FYI : I work with Rule Based Availability Check
Please Advise How to solve this issue

Hi Rami
I can think of two options:
1) Since you are running PPDS between your plant and DC, demand from DC is transmitted to Plant. I do not see the reason why you have both DC and Plant in the location substitution chain. I would suggest you keep only customer facing locations in your location substitution chain
2) In case you have to keep both in substitution chain, please configure scope of check differenty for plant and DC so that duplication can be avoided. This may be achieved by a different ATP group (Availability Check field in Material Master MRP3 Tab in R/3) in location product level. You can configure only stock at plant level whereas DC may have PReq or other items in scope of check. I have not tested it but it may work.
I would suggest option 1 as that is logically more acceptable.
