Production/Inv. report using batch chracteristics as selection criteria

Hi
Can u please tlet me know is there any production or inventory report in standard report where we can the list of materials produced based on batch characteristics as selection critera?
Reason we are using grade as one charateristics in batch. Now our customer after a point of time want to see what are material produced in that plant of a certain grade.

As fa as i know there is no standard report where u can see the production directly based on the characteristic value. But u can see the stock based on the characteristics.
May i ask whether u are working in a metal production scenario.
U can go to MMCL and put the characteristic name and the characteristic value u can see the stock. Otherwise use the following tables in a customized report u'll get the required data.
Go to AUSP and put ur character5stic name and value and execute. No pick up all Object nos. from the output and go to another table MCH1 and put Object no. in the field "CUOBJ_BM" and execute. By this u'll get the batch no. and pass all the batches in table AUFM and there u'll get the production order linked to it.

Work Order Reporting using I_BEGRP as a selection criteria

Hello all,
I am having a small problem regarding the authorization object I_BEGRP, which appears at general data informed tab at equipment level. The situation is as described below:
Our client has several subcontractors working with Maintenance Work Orders in the system, and in order to control that each subcontractor does only access to their own data (equipment, work orders, etc.) different authorization group has been used to assign each of the equipment.
Problem is now when the client needs to be able to know the list of MWO per subcontractor.
The need is clear: for a user that is not restricted by this authorization group, it cannot be usedas a selection criteria to obtain a list of WO of a certain subcontractor.
I have seen that it can be shown in the equipment standard report IH08, but only as exit data, but not as entry selection criteria, but neither for MWO (IW39) nor for notifications (IW29) it can be used as an entry selection criteria.
Can someone help me with this issue? is the only solution to make a custom development, and to copy program RIAUFK20 in order to allow this field as an input?

Hi,
the only workaround I can think of is to use suitable search help for equipment. So the process would be to run IW29, open search help for equipment that allows you to specify authorization group (I think Equipment by Equipment list should work), then select all equipments from the auth. group and then run IW29 restricted by equipments. It's not nice but it allows you to select all orders that have equipments assigned to some specific authorization group. Otherwise you need to enhance standard reports to allow authorization group as one of the select options.

I have configured newly batch management in our IDES ECC 6 system in which while posting the GRN I am getting the following error:
Invalid batch according to selection criteria in batch determination
Batch WHITE has already been posted in stock
For batch WHITE of material YARN40SCMBD 1001, no class could be deter
Deficit of PU Ordered quantity 5 KG : YARN40SCMBD 1001 YN01 WHITE
and also the system response is
For batch WHITE of material YARN40SCMBD 1001, no class could be determined
Message no. M7207
Diagnosis
The system has been configured so that batches have to be classified for the current movement type. Since neither the material nor any batch of this material has been classified, batch &V1 cannot be classified for the current movement type.
System Response
Depending on how the system is configured, either a warning or an error message is issued.
If the message issued is a warning (W), the system allows you to enter batch WHITE without classification. The warning is, however, issued to prevent you from making a wrong entry.
If the message issued is an error message (E), you cannot post batch WHITE.
Procedure
You either have to classify material YARN40SCMBD in the material master or manually create batch WHITE in the batch master and classify the batch there.
As soon as a class has been assigned to the material or a batch of this material, you can classify other batches of this material upon goods movements.

Hi,
Follow the steps:
1.Field---VFDAT and table-MCHA should be created as a charecter in CT04 and assigned to a class in CL02N.
2.create MM01 and add the class to it in classification view.
3.In mm01 plt storage1 view give data for remainning shelf life and total shelf life and in purchasing view activate batch management.
4.OMJ5- activate SLED for your plant and mvt type 201.
5.opj2- set BD for your plant.
6.create sort sequence in cu70 and assign your charecteristic value to it.
7.create batch serch strategy in MBC1 for access sequence(plt/matrl/mvt typ) create a condition record.
8.Do a GR using 501 and enter SLED related details.(production date and exp date values)
Repeat the above step and enter diffrent values for SLED details.
So now two batches are created with SLED as the charecteristic.
9.Do a GI using 201 mvt tye in MB1A and enter * in batch field(system will determine the batch using the SLED value basedon the criteria(ascending or descending which was set in the sort rule.)

Production order reporting using COOIS

Hi all
I am using tcode COOIS for creating reports for Production orders. I have the following requirement
I want to batch schedule the report using a variant which I have done. The report should automatically run every night at 12 am and it should automatically email the report to the email ids of the Production team. The report should be in a spreadsheet format. My question is
1/ where do i put the e mail id
2/ how do i make it to spit the report in a spreadsheet format ( Manually I can go into System > List > Save > Spreadsheet and save it onto spreadsheet)

Use transaction SM36 to schedule your batch job. There you can maintain the email address of the recipient.
If the scheduled job has a spool list output, the same would be sent by email to the address maintaind

Opportunity Product Revenue report using Narrative option

Hi,
I have created quote report using "Opportunity product revenue report" with the use of narrative option and its working fine but the problem here is if opportunity has multiple product revenue items it shows in multiple quotes. For me it should show in a same quotation if there are multiple opportunity product revenue items in a opportunity. Could anyone help me how can i achieve this.

Reporting: using operators with relative selection

Dear all,
i am facing an problem when trying to create a certain report.
The requirement is to gather all opportunities for which the sales phase has started more than 1 month ago.
Phase start date is a characteristic you can use using data sources for opportunity header.
However, to select on phase start date (an any other type of date characteristic) you can only use operators (is, is less than, is greater than, ...) with a fixed date (for example: is less than 01.03.2015) or you can use a relative selection (last week, last month, last 4 days, ...).
I need to be able to achieve the following: "phase start date" "is less than" "last month"
Is there a way we can do this?

Hi Michael,
You should design the new reporting using existing data source 'OPPORTUNITY HEADER'.
Step 1. Define report and data source
Step 2. Select Key Figures
Step 3. Select Characteristics
Step 4. Characteristics Properties : In this step you select Phase start date and make the value selection as 'FIXED VALUE SELECTION', in fixed value selection click on more option button ( +-> sign) now this will give the option for relative selection.
Step 5, 6 and 7 as standard steps as you have to follow them.

This will the issue that you have.

Invalid batch according to selection criteria in batch determination

Hi all,
When I am trying to post a goods issue for a material the above message is displayed.
And when I am trying to post the same material with mb1c-561 the system shows No batch numbers could be determined.
What can be done over this?
Also when I am trying to remove batch management indicator from sales/general plant view it shows it is already in some sales documents.

MB1C 561 is mainly used at time of Go-live when we have to upload initial stock in SAP There is no use the the automatic batch determination for 561 movement.
In MB1c with 561 movement first time its going to create a new batch check the setting of OMCZ.
Once you activited the batch managment it is very diffuculte to remove better to create new material code.

Standard SAP Reporting Using Classes and Characterstics

Hi Experts,
I am currently interested in if there are any options to using classes and characteristics within standard reporting in SAP ECC. I know some reports have the selection critiera and allow for other fields to be added to reports. Does anyone know the reports that use classes and characteristics or have the ability to use them. Any help is appreciated.

I am not sure of the specifics of your question. The reporting approach depends on the objective of the reports and the business requirements. In general, transaction MC03 can be use to report via classification characteristics. This key figure reporting option covers many classifying attributes.
If you want to report using batch classification and characteristic values, BMBC offers options for reporting on batches. In this case you may use the classification tab of BMBC to enter the batch class for "search with batch class" and/or "search with selection class". The latter allows you to view and/or narrow your search by characteristic values.

Profit center report does not show selection criteria

The SAP Business One software misses a functionality :
When creating a financial report, you can enter surtain selection criteria in order to shift the data, and in order to get only the relevant data. This is possible in all reports. Also, in the result of all reports, those selection criteria are shown. In that case you actually know what the data is all about.
This is not the case with the profit center report. When you run the report with e.g a date selection, these dates are not printed on the actual report. When a second person views the report, he/she has no clue as to what the data consists of, they are unaware of the selection criteria.
The only solution is to export this to excel, or run Chrystal reports. But this should be entered into the standard report !!

If you see the screen shot I attached, it has the text "(new)" against the Folder name...
All new gl reports are under such a folder to differentiate... You cant deactivate any reports from the Standard Menu... You can just control it by authrization....
You can also ask your BASIS guy to display only the authorized trans on the user screen so that they are not able to see the std set of transactions

If you execute the KSB1 report in the background, the selection criteria are automatically displayed there with the header data (states within SAP Note 1174588).
Is there any way how to disable this?
We have got a custom program in which we start the KSB1 via SUBMIT RKAEP000 and we do not want to display also the selection criteria within the spool.
Maybe some parameter, which could be used within the submit rkaep000?

Navigation attribute as selection criteria for automatic forecast model

Hello Experts,
I have a requirement like this.
In Transaction /SAPAPO/MSDP_FCST2, I enter a planning area and click execute.
Then I create a selection (using selection management button). But here I am not able to see the navigational attributes as a selection field.
Could you please let me know how I could use this as a selection criteria?
Can I use the method SEL_CHANGE of the BADI /SAPAPO/SDP_FCST5 for implementing this?

I hope you could have created a selection using the Create Activity and assign activity to a job. And during this part, for assigning the selection to the job, we could use the selection created in Interactive planning - Tcode /SAPAPO/SDP94.
The problem is what if the planners are not given authorization for the creating the job or activity. And what if the planners do the model fitting for a product/location and he wants to exclude it from the selection.

No Print of the Customer Receivables Ageing Selection Criteria Page

I would like to know how can I print the Customer Receivables Ageing / Supplier Liabilities Ageing Report without printing the selection criteria page, because when I try to print these reports I always get the selection criteria page. I've searched in the print options, but I didn't found anything.

This is system default function. It is hard coded already. You could print this page on the virtual printer instead.

Navigational Attributes as Selection Criteria in Infopackage?

Is it possible to use navigational attributes as selection criteria in the infopackage? I have the MRP cube that only does full loads. I would like to ONLY load the material type FERT (finished goods). 0MATERIAL has 0MATL_TYPE as a navigational attribute. I would like to put 0MATL_TYPE in the selection criteria in the infopackage.
If this is possible, please let me know. The only other way I have come up to do this is to load in one cube and then use and APD to load into another cube. I would like to avoid this if possible.
