Production Module Doubt

Hello,
          Can any one guide me In SAP B1 Production Module after preparing Production order shall we proceed to  <b>Issue for Production</b> or <b>Receipt from Production.</b>
Also when I am preparing Production In screen it needs Product no.----
How can I go furthur.
Regards
P.Narender

Hello,
It is depend of the type of your Production Order (type.OWOR).
If the Production Order is standard, (Type = A), you need to do a Receipt from production (button Production Order) to get final goods and consume raw materials
If the Production Order is disassembly (Type = D) you need to do an issue for production (button Disassembly Order) to get initial raw materials and dissassemble the final goods

  • Large Product Module

    How do I call a large product module onto the page? Here's the format for my small product module:
    {module_product,31999,5038261}. Where can I check?
    Thanks.

    Using KB Instructions:
    I tried:
    {module_product,31999,5038262, template = "/Layouts/OnlineShop/large_product.html"}
    {module_product,31999,5038262, /Layouts/OnlineShop/large_product.html}
    {module_product prodcutId="{{5038262}}" catalogID="{{31999}}" template="/_System/ModuleTemplates/Shop/productLarge.html"}
    {module_product prodcutId="{{5038262}}" catalogID="{{31999}}" template="/Layouts/OnlineShop/large_product.html}
    I'm using a directory to hold all my landing pages called /books. Do I need to type in the full URL of the large product template to call it up? How do I do that?

  • Sizing Product Module

    I've created a page in DW with a DIV to insert a product module. I upload the page to BC and insert the {module,product,mypart,mypart}.  How can I size the product module to fit within my DIV?  Also, can I insert product modules in DW locally and, if so,  which is best process?  Basic stuff, but I'm just getting started and struggling.

    Hi Liam.  Thanks for your reply.  All of this is completly new to me so I'm struggling with it.  We sell to the fire service and our products have different degrees of explanation depending on the item.  I built the existing site with Yahoo site builder years ago and am trying to get away from them and go to the Adobe products.  The current web site layout has been very good for us and I'm trying to replicate it with some changes.  I don't know how to get to the css for the product modules to modify them.  I did pick up a good bit today from different help videos and am going to try something a little different tonight.  I know how to affect what gets displayed in each module, so I'm going to try posting my pictures and descriptions on a page for each product and strip everyting from the product_module except for the price and order qty and plae those in a DIV adjacent to the descrition DIV.  I know this is an off the wall way to do it but I don't know if I will ever learn enough BC and DW to ro it the "right" way.  This is our existing site I'm trying to rebuild with DW & BC.   Thanks again for your reply.   www.my-lor.com

  • How I resized the Small Image for a Product Module

    I wanted a big picture for my small product module.
    1. I inserted {tag_largeimage} in place of {tag_smallimage} on the small product module.
    Site Manager -> Module Templates -> Online Shop -> Individual Product Small.
    The picture was 200 X 275. It was getting cut off.
    2. I open File Manager -> CSS and look in style.css for numbers smaller than those dimensions.
    At the bottom, at lines 1594/1595 I found what I was looking for: "#content .shop-product-small .image".
    3. I increased the dimensions to 200*275. If your site is automatically generating a border you'll need to include them in the final dimensions.
    The customer gets a better view of what I'm selling. I'm happy with the result. I hope this helps.

    Hi Steve,
    You should just use the large product image, use _path to get the raw URL of the image and use the tumbnail generation code (see knowledgebase) and specify your dimensions. This allows you to use then properly use a large product image in your detail view

  • Customized ecommerce product module

    Hi,
    In Ecommerce we have created a customized catalog module custom-catalog.tpl and want to display a customized large product layout custom-product.tpl.

    Hi,
    Try splitting up the import into 400 items or less to see if this helps improve your experience.
    If still having troubles I would suggest submitting a ticket (attach the import file in question) to us ASAP as it should only take less than a minute per import.

  • Displaying Images in Results and Product Modules?

    Hi folks,
    I am confused on two issues.    When I do a search or insert a product list module into a page, it is displaying as text only and not as images with text, as it appears in the insert option menu:
    http://screencast.com/t/RHNmcGFY
    I'm sure I'm doing something basic wrong, but I want to display the product list  with images.
    http://joden.businesscatalyst.com/edwardian-jewelry
    Also,  when my client tried to do this:  E-Commerce>Products>Actions :  Insert into web page,  the module it created on the home page was blown apart in CSS by the   <div class="featuredslider" id="products-featured">  even though we placed the module outside that div.
    http://joden.businesscatalyst.com/
    On the home page, I ended up creating a (unsuccessfully) specialized ul  with the classes of the normal  display layout : http://joden.businesscatalyst.com/antique-jewelry
    but that won't work if she wants to update the page from time to time.   What she wants to do is display not the catalog thumbmail for a New Items catalog, but a mini product list for brand new items in the New Items Catalog.
    Thanks for the help.
    Jeff

    I thought these forums were for people who didn't know how to do something to learn from those who did.
    Part of learning is learning whether to do something, not just how to do it. I see people on these forums all the time wanting to do some really stupid thing that's going to screw up their system or tick someone off. Would I be doing them a service if I did not try to point out such mistakes?
    What I am looking for is a way to convert the Pages document into a better format for emailing. html would be great.
    Unfortunately (or fortunately if you have the same view of HTML e-mail that I do), Mail does not make it easy to edit HTML e-mails. Although a rich text message is actually HTML, I don't honestly know how to edit the HTML itself. But, again, you're going to have much more success printing the Pages document to a PDF and uploading that to a web site, then e-mailing the link. You can't predict how another e-mail client is going to display anything other than plain text.

  • Production order doubt

    Hi,
    My client's requirement is suppose production order is for 50 quantities. Production has not yet started say for example.due to capacity bottle neck or whatever reason, client decides to produce 30 quantities in house and rest 20 quantity by procurement from outside.How to do this is SAP?
    Next doubt:say production order of 50 quantities has begun. 10 quantities have been produced.Now client says they want to do inhouse production for next 25 and external procurement for rest 15 quantities.
    Please help how to do this?
    Regards.

    Hi
    In case of planned order convertion to production order,if the planned order is compleatly converted to Production order then if you again change the quantity also the planned order will not be created again,once the planned order is converted compleatly it will not exist, if you do partial convertion of planned order to production order then the planned can be seen for the remaining quantity which you can either convert to production order or to purchase requisition,in case of compleate convertion of planned order to production order if run the plan ince again a new planned order will be generated again.
    hope this give you a better idea,
    Bye,
    Naidu

  • Customizing product module appearance?

    Hi,
    I've gone through under module templates > online shop layouts > individual product (large) to edit out the things I didn't want, like showing how much is left in inventory.  However, my products don't have images (they're concert tickets, so we thought words would be simplest) and I can't seem to get rid of the boxes that would otherwise hold the product images.
    Could someone direct me to where this might be (I have a feeling it's a CSS file somewhere, but I can't seem to locate it?)

    Have you thought about using the Booking Event module to create a paid event, since you are selling tickets to an event and not selling a product? This would bypass the Ecommerce section. This will require a seamless payment gateway like Paypal Pro and a custom web with payment.
