Production Order confirmation/ work center activity type calcuation

Hi All,
In the parameters defined through standard value key in work center, we have defined ZZI_06 which calculates its value based on the other parameter using a formula as shown below.
change over ZZI_01     ZZI_01
startup          ZZI_02     ZZI_02
run-time        ZZI_03     ZZI_03 * ZZI_09 / ZZI_08 / ZZI_11
overheade    ZZI_06     ( ZZI_03  + ( ZZI_01 + ZZI_02 ) / 2 )
After confirmation when we checked in C014 we noticed that the overhead hours calculation ZZI_06 was always picking the planned parameter values(from the routing) and not the actual values from CO11N.
Just wondering if the reason for this is the way I defined the formula or am I missing any setting?
Ideally I am looking for value of  ZZI_06 calculated from values of the ZZI_01, ZZI_02, ZZI_03 which I enter in the CO11N screen.
Thank You.

Have u run the over head calculation for your order KGI2?

Ganesh

  • Tag production order to Work center

    hey everyone,
I need to tag the correct work center to the prod order. One Production order has say 5 materials and they have different movements on it. We need to fetch the correct work center for each material movement. I am able to find work center for materials that have entry in the RESB table but for material that is final produced has no entry in RESB thus we cant tag it to any work center.
Does any one know how to tag the produced material to the correct work center according to the operation on that production order.
    any suggestions would be appreciated.
    thanks !!

    Hi,
Yes, one production order has only one material produced. this material can be found in CO03. But i cant find the appopriate work center for this material. Do you know how ? Because this material has no entry in the reservation table.
    thanks
    Laura.

  • Production Order Confirmations by Work Center

Using COOIS, I can see confirmations for production orders by work center, but it doesn't give me the option to display the material number and material number description.

  • Change Work Center during production order confirmation

    Dear All,
I must to modeling this situation:
I created an production order. In routing I used an work center A.
After I confirmed a half of quantity, the work center A was damaged and I must to change it, with the work center B.
The system allow this change, but when I checked the costing, the situation isn't real. The system counted the costs just for the work center A, and no for work center B.
My question is: it's possible to change the work center, during production order confirmation and the costs updated with new cost?
    Thank you for your answer!
    Regards,
    Marian

once a Order is released, the Process order detaisl for that order is frozen.
however if you want to do it, change the order status to CRTD after reversing the Movements done.
Do READ MAster data , this will copy the new Work center , redo the previously done Moevements.
if the change is long term.
    or
Just manually add the new work center and do the processing. if the change is temporary.

  • PRODUCTION ORDER CONFIRMATION INCORRECT

    Hi Gurus,
The Issue I have at hand is related to a PRODUCTION ORDER CONFIRMATION INCORRECT. Ok here is what happened. A production order was put in for quantity of 3. But the confirmation against this order was posted for 100,XXX,XXX. This was scrapped and only 3 was confirmed and received into the inventory (So inventory movement is fine, only for 3). But the initial confirmation of 100,XXX,XXX caused posting for Labor & OH based on the activities to sec. cost elements. So now what happened is there are posting against sec. cost elements in millions, which have been settled to cost centers. Obviously this is incorrect.
So now we have statistical postings to sec cost elements that are overstated and incorrect. The period for the prod order has closed. The prod order has status of released.
Now my questions are as follows:
    1. How do we go about fixing this? Best practice?
    2. Can we manually post to sec cost elements to correct overstating?
    3. Can we do manual Journal entry to resolve discrepancy (But that would be a real posting).
Also would had it been the best solution to just cancel the prod order with the wrong confirmation and re-issue another in the period of occurrence. If you need more information to provide help please let me know.
I am new to product costing. Please help.
    Thank in Advance!!!

    Hi Ajay,
I have some follow up questions, please help. Thank You so much. I am sure I will be able to resolve soon, now. Thanks
    2. The manual entries that were posted, can they be reversed, even though period is closed? You mentioned reverse in same
period. So I can post a reversal document in the period of occurrence?
No. For any FI posting, your period has to be open
    Q. Ok then if the period is closed and I have to reverse the postings, do I post a negative posting in the current period?
    3. Also should I run KB21N in the same period? (If I can, I should I believe?)
    Yes, in the same period
    Q. If the period is closed like I mentioned earlier, would I still be able to run KB21N in the same period or this should also be run in the current period?
    4. In KB21N I changed the screen variant to u201CAllu201D but I still donu2019t see sender u201Cproduction orderu201D, I just see sender cost center, sender activity type, receiving cost center, receiving order and etc?
The field "order" is the field you should use.. It is same as Prod order / Int Order
    Q. Yes ok but in KB21N there is no sending order, there is only receiving order. Please help
    5. Also will the KB21N posting fix the Profit and loss posting of the loss?
Yes, it will.. But you will have to re-run period end steps until settlement
    Q. re-run period end steps, can you elaborate a little more. Thanks
Thanks again for all your great feedback.

  • Price difference on cancellation of production order confirmation

    Hi,
We are having a material which is maintained at price control "S". We have created a production order for the material. In due course of business, we did confirmation for say 100 pcs of the material. However, immediatly on confirmation, we realized that we do not need to do the confirmation & hence we did the cancellation of the production order confirmation using CO13.
On doing the production order confirmation cancellation, we observed that the system has posted some amount to "price difference account"
We also observed that once in a while this kind of entries do get posted.
It is requested to please let us know in why system is behaving this way?
We have checked SAP Note no 216080 "Price difference when reversing GI for S-Priced material" & SAP Note no 215980 'Price difference during GR for the production order". However we are not convinced that these could be the reason for the price difference.
    Thanking you in anticipation

    Hi,
Yes, you are correct in the understanding that the system creates quants in 914 when the production order confirmation is cancelled. But, it does not generate any TR or TO in the background to post the stock back into the original storage type.
Can we not use the put away strategies so that the system determines where to place the material? My query is that despite all the configurations for automatic TO creation and confirmation for movement type 262, it does not generate a TO (or TR) in the background when a production order confirmation is cancelled using CO13.
However, if I manually post a material using MB1A for 261 movement type and reverse it using 262, it generates a TO and confirms it as per the setting in configuration.
The same thing does not work when we run it through PP (CO11N and then CO13).
Any suggestions on how to approach this and where to check for missing configurations?
    Thanks and Regards,

  • Production order confirmations to BW

    Hi,
Does anybody know if it is possible to take production order CONFIRMATIONS (Fertigungsauftrags Daten auf Ebene Rückmeldungen) to BW via standard routines? In LBWE (with 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL, ...) it does not work.
    Would appreciate any idea ...
    Thank's Markus

i don't think we are getting that from standard DS. I will tell you our set up. Workcenter will assigned from the Planed Order.
Comming to your cases... check the DS once again. I will check it out. If you are not getting the values for work center where it is confirmed.
Create a Generic DS. i can guide to generate a DS and for delta handling.
    1. Create a Generic Extractor for Master Data.
    2. Provide Table Name "AFRU".
    3. save the DS. click on Generic Delta Provide the field "ERSDA" and select the Calender Day. it will pick up the Delta records.
Any questions let me know. If you reslove this with creating Generic DS please update the thread.
    All the best.

  • Cancellation of Production Order confirmation (CO13) not generating TR/TO

    Hi,
We are facing a typical issue in the PP-WM interface. When we create an order and confirm it (partial confirmation), the Goods movement happens (261 mvt type) as desired and the TO is created and confirmed in the background.
But, when we try to reverse the movement type (cancelling the production order confirmation using CO13) then there are no TRs or TOs generated in the background (for movement type 262).
When I manually try to post a material document for 262 movement type, it creates a TO in the background (as per the configurations that I maintained) but this does not happen when movement type 262 is called using PP interface.
The movement type configurations are all done for Automatic TR and TO generations - this works with normal IM process (when we manually post using MB1A transaction) but not with the return Goods movement happening with PP.....here, the material comes back to the interim storage type 914. We then need to create a TO manually and confirm it to take the stock back in to the original storage type and bin.
We want that when a process order confirmation is cancelled then the materials should be posted back in to the original storage type and bin (from where the material was issued against the order).
For Info: COGI shows no errors during the 262 movements, also, material document is generated for 262 movement type but no TR/TO generated.
Is there any configuration that we have missed?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Shankar

  • Batch Determination at the time of Production Order Confirmation

    Hi,
I am working with Batch Determination at Item Level.
I already have configured system to generate Batch Automatically at the Time of Production Order Release.
But now i want to generate Batch Automatically at the Time of Production Order Confirmation
Please help me with the necessary Configurations which would be required into achieving the same.
    Thanks in advance.
    Harris

    Hi,
I have maintained the same for my Order Type in OPJ2 but still the same is not being picked at the time of Order Confirmation and it is being put to COGI mentioning the error as No batch specified in production order
Also if i try to Manually Select the Batch through in Goods Movt. of CO15 it is giving a msg that No Strategy could be found.
    I have done following settings:
    1. Have maintained Condn Records in MBC1 for the component whose batch is to be determined.
    2. In material master in MRP2 Batch Determination: 2
    3. In OPL8: Batch determination search procedure
    4. In OPJ2: BD ticked for that relevant Order Type
    5. In OPKP: Automatic Batch creation kept as BLANK.
    Please support

  • Need help on Production order confirmation cancel issue

    Hi,
I need your help regarding Prduction Order issue.
We have created Production Order and issued raw materials and we done paritial confirmation also. Now the order status is PNCF.
After that we notice that it was wrong confirmation so we went CO13 we cancel those confirmations.
But in our zprogram still those order is showing as paritial confirmation order.
I need in which SAP table confirmation status stored and what will be the production order status after cancel the confirmation.
and in which table cancel production order confirmation data will be availiable.
    please guide me
    sateesh

    HI,
There is No Standard Status for Reversing or cancelling the Confirmation.
Generally, When you confirm the status PCNF or CNF gets active.
When you reverse it theybecome inactive.
also let us know, whether You cancelled or reversed the confirmation or revesed the GI postings.
If you have reversed the GI postings using Reverse Movement type or Materail documents, it is possible to have the PCNF order status unchanged.

  • Checks in userexits of production order confirmations from PDC in CO16N

    Hi,
we are using PDC interface for production order confirmations. This is done by Idoc type PPCC2PRETTICKET01 (time ticket) based on BAPI BAPI_PRODORDCONF_PDC_UPLOAD_TT. Standard confirmations are working well. In case of SAP detected errors the confirmations are registered for error handling in CO16N.
So far so good but we have some own check logic implemented in confirmation user exit CONFPP04 and BADI WORKORDER_CONFIRM. These checks are working fine whith online confirmations in CO11N but not in background PDC Idoc processing. I checked the function module EXIT_SAPLCORF_104 for exit CONFPP04 but it has got no exception. The call in SAP processing is like this:
          CALL CUSTOMER-FUNCTION '104'
               EXPORTING
                    CAUFVD_IMP    = I_CAUFVD
                    AFVGD_IMP     = I_AFVGD
                    AFRUD_IMP     = E_AFRUD
               IMPORTING
                    AFRUD_EXP     = LS_AFRUD
               EXCEPTIONS
                    ERROR_MESSAGE = 01
                    OTHERS        = 02.
      CASE SY-SUBRC.
        WHEN 0.
        WHEN 1.
MESSAGE ID SY-MSGID TYPE SY-MSGTY NUMBER SY-MSGNO WITH
                  SY-MSGV1 SY-MSGV2 SY-MSGV3 SY-MSGV4
                  RAISING CONF_DATA_FALSE.
        WHEN 2.
          MESSAGE E174 RAISING CONF_DATA_FALSE.
How can I throw the exception when there is no exception defined in the function module interface without modification?
As 2. option I wonder if it is better to implement the check logic in the BADI WORKORDER_CONFIRM Method AT_SAVE. This has got an exception ERROR_WITH_MESSAGE. But I don't know if this will lead to CO16N registration of the confirmation.
Any hint how I can solve the problem to apply the online checks in CO11N also to PDC interface confirmations with CO16N in error case?

    Hi Michael,
First, I think that the BAPI that you are looking for is: BAPI_PRODORDCONF_CREATE_HDR
    Second,
I don't think that in the framework of such a forum it can be explained in detail how to use BAPIs; nevertheless, here are some highlights:
A BAPI is an executable piece of code that can be called from either an external program within SAP (Z program), or called from an external system either via RFC, or as a web service (depends on your NetWeaver  release).
As such, it has input (import) data that you transfer when you call it, and output (export) data that you recieve when it ended processing.
More detailed information, documentation, and a description of the import/export parameters, as well as error handling, one can find in SAP by calling transaction BAPI.

  • Batch Split during GR for Production Order Confirmation

    Hi All,
We need to do batch splitting during GR for Production Order Confirmation. We are using CO11N for confirming the Production Order and in the PP settings auto GR is activated once the Confirmation is done.
Currently it is generating only single batch number for the complete quantity, but our requirement is that we need that system should create separate batch for each piece.
For ex.: Production Order is for 100 pce, when we do Production Order confirmation, system is automatically doing the GR by 101 movement type and it is creating one single batch for full 100 pce. But we want the batch number should be generated for 1 pce i.e. we want to split the 100 pce into 100 batches with 1 pce each.
Please let me know what can be done for this requirement.
    Regards,
    Ankit

    Dear,
In OPK0 you need to active the screen Mill: Goods Receipt (8485) for confirmation profile for the single-screen entry.
Best way is use BAdI /SAPMP/SPLIT_CO11N for the Enter Time Ticket for Production Order transaction (CO11N)
you must activate BAdI implementation /SAPMP/SPLIT_POPUP and/or /SAPMP/SPLIT_CO11N for this BAdI
I have use the same BADI it will ask you number of split according to that it will split the GR line item.

  • Production Order Confirmation saved but no goods movement happening

    Hi Folks,
I have implemented an enhancement while Production Order Confirmation ( txn CO11N). The enhancment works as follow:
I have a production order with quantiy 2. Now I am making confirmation for quantity 1. In the enhancement, i have used a BAPI called BAPI_PRODORD_CREATE_FROM_REF to create another production order with the remaining quantity 1.
As of now everything works fine and a new prod order is created with quantity 1.
Now, I release this newly created prod order and make GR for the same. The problem here is, now when I try to confirm this newly created prod order ( txn CO11N), the confimation is saved but the goods movement does not happen. I get a message saying " Confirmation saved (Goods movement 0, failed 1) ".
The original order is of type PP01 and everything works fine for it. The newly created order is of type ZRWK (rework) and for this only confimation is saved but no goods movement.
Request you to please suggest how can I remove this error and make goods movement as that of for the original order.
    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Sud.
