Production order Data Migration

Hi All,
I want to perform data migration for production order.  Please let me know how can I go about it either through LSMW or BAPI or IDOC etc.
Thanks,
Balaji

Hi,
I have done that but the problem is i am getting the information message "No process code can be found for the message type LOIPRO"
This is because I guess the basic type LOIPRO01 is an outbound idoc.
So please let me know whether it is possible with idoc method as this idoc is Outbound.
If possible, please let me know how it has to be done in detail.

  • Sequencing of Purchase order and Good Issue acc. to Production order date

    Hello ,
We are using Direct procurement scenario ,During MRP run we generate a Plan order(which have dates); which converted into Production order later. For these production order material is needed (components). And for procuring components we need to create purchase order.
Assumption :- Each component have same Procurement lead time
Our requirement is Purchase order and GI in Production order should be done sequentially, means Based on Production order date ,FIFO based Purchase orders are created and GI done in Production order. Production order with earlier production date have purchase orders earlier and we do GI in production order accordingly.
    Kindly suggest

    Hello Dario
Thanks for your reply. Our requirement is to put a check on system that GI for production order should be done FIFO wise
means as MRP generate 3 production order of same material each at different date , we want issance of components to be done on FIFO wise in production order

  • PPDS production order dates mismatch between APO and R3

    Hi Friends,
We are facing one problem regarding production order date mish match between R3 and APO systems specific to a product.
The product is planned in PPDS and the order automatically transfer to R3 through online CIF.
PPM has got two operations 0010 and 0020 and activity relationships are like this:
    P(0010) - P(0020) Start - Start relation ship
    S(0010) - P(0010) End - Start relationship.
In PPDS dates are shown as :
on operation 0010 the start/end  dates are shown as  08.15.09 to 08.22.09
on operation 0020 the start/end  dates are shown as 08.15.09 to 08.22.09
Overall order start date is  08.15.09
Overall order finish date is 08.22.09
and in R3 dates are shown as:
on operation 0010 the start/end  date are shown as  08.15.09 to 08.22.09
on operation 0020 the start/end dates are shown as 08.22.09 to 08.29.09
Overall order start date is  08.15.09
Overall order finish date is 08.29.09
The order is off one week (APO vs R3) with start and finish dates.
if we change DS Board settings to ignore internal relationships manually then the dates are matching exactly in APO and R3.
We want the production order dates to be matched without manual intervention.
Could some one please provide some hints on what is happening here and how to correct it.
    Thanks.
    Krish

    Hi Friends,
Thanks a lot for your valuable replies in this regard.
Actually this problem is in production environment and it took some time to test the problem with the master data modifications
    you suggested.
As DB and Siddhrath mentioned, the problem was with routing definition. There is no parallel sequence maintained in the routing but there is start-start relation maintained in APO PPM.
We corrected the routing definition and checked the order dates. Now the dates  are matching in R3 and APO.
I am awarding DB and Siddharth each five points in this regard.
Once again thank you all for your time and valuable replies.
    -Regards
    Krish.

  • Credit card Open sales order data migration

    Hi All,
My query for today is to know your experiences as to how to handle legacy data migration to SAP for Open transactions having credit card information. I mean in legacy we have Open orders with credit card information and some of them are approved, or rejected or in a yet to receive a response stage. What is the best practice to migrate these open orders. Should we reauthorize these orders? Similarly, if you can tell me about Open Invoices and Open A/ru2019s.
    Thanks
    AriBis

    hello, friend.
a standard transaction is VA05 or VA05n to check on open orders.
if you need to check the database tables, you can check sales order status/header thru table VBUK.  for item level, use VBUP.  you will find fields such as reference status, delivery status, etc.

  • Changes in Production order Date

    Hi Frnd,
Can i see the history or log changes that have been done in a production order.
Here our people will be changing the Dates in the Production order ( Start Date ). I want to track what changes they done against a production order.
    Regards
    Rakesh

    Rakesh,
In standard SAP we would be not the change log exepct for status changes. However if you need this to be logged then you can go through OSS Notes#390635 recommended solution.
This might have impact on the performance, so be catious in Implementing the same.

  • Production order date

Due to business reasons, some times production order start date is changed.
Is there a way we can find when the start date of the production order is
changed after the production order being created.
Note: We have not activated ECM and scheduling type is forward

Following user exit EXIT_SAPLCOKO1_004  {enhancement PPCO0018} has be utilized to determine change of order start date
    Details of the user exit:
Set break point at call customer-function '004' , change to order start date is captured under variable CS_CAUFVD_NEW and original start date is maintained under IS_CAUFVD_OLD. Field name associated with start date is GSTRP

  • Sales Order Data Migration

    Hi All,
We are migration from a legacy system to B1 V9.0. We need to import the sales order with a order total that is different from what the calculated value would be, if the order was created manually with the Items. What we expect to see is that the price difference would show as a discount positive or negative at the order total.
If you look at the Order Total with the query generator the total is that of the imported value, but when the order is displayed the display order total value is that of the lines.
Any suggestion as to why this is happening?

  • Can GATP confimed date come from production order finishing date??

    Hi Expert,
I have one question to ask.
in the GATP , I want to the APO system can consider the production ability , that is, when I create a sales order, the system will make  a GATP check in APO, if there is no enough stock, the system will create a PPDS planned order and return the planner order finsihed date as the schedule line confirmed date.
I do not know this is possible or not??
I hope some expert can help me to solve this problem
    thank you in advance!

    Hi Liu,
Why Planned order date.. It could be Production order date (planned order release date) + inhouse production time + Transporation lead time + GR processing time (at the original location where the order is placed) ..that should determine the material availability date. CTP exactly does this. Make sure that the "replenishment lead time is switched off" in the product-location master (in fact this is location independent)- as this take precedene over everything else.
Also ensure that that end of checking horizon is larger than the interval established above, else MAD could be much earlier. Also enure that transfer of requirements is set both at header and schudule line level for CTP to work.

    Loknath

  • Production order start date gets incremented by 1 day

    Hi,
I have a scenario where in when the Planned Order gets converted to Production Order the Start date gets incremented by 1 day.
If the planned order date is 11.02.2009 after converting to Prod Order it shows the start date as 12.02.2009.
Can any please help me in resolving this issue,
    with rgds
    Ranjith Singh

    Dear,,
Please run the MRP MD02 with Scheduling- 2 Lead time scheduling.
Planeed order date may be from in house production time which is lot size independent.
But production order date is from routing time which are lot size depnendent.
Hope clear to you or come back if any problem.

  • Report for Production orders with name of Customers

    Dear Expert,
Kindly suggest to view the production orders with customer numbers for which the sales orders is created.
I tried in MB51 with layout settings but the customer number comes out be blank despite the sales order number is populated for an production order.
Kindly suggst a way or any report in the system  to get the corresponding information of production order number and corresponding customer name mentioned in the sales order .
Thanks in advance for your help and inputs..
    Best regards,
    Nitish jain

    Nitish,
MB51 is a Material Document list.  Many production orders exist that have no entries in this report, so it would be an unlikely candidate to be a solution for your requirement..
The standard production order reporting tool is COOIS.  The output for MTO orders can be configured to display Sales order and Item and Soldto.
Obviously, displaying even the customer order number in COOIS is impossible in a MTS scenario.
In addition, a user experienced in using SAP Query  (SQVI or SQ01/SQ02/SQ03) could also create a production order report without having to know ABAP, by properly linking tables AFKO, AUFK, AFPO (production order data) with VBAK (sales order header data) to get customer number, and KNA1 to get customer name..
If you are not expert in SAP Query, I suggest you discuss this requirement with a local ABAPer.
If you are feeling like educating yourself in the wonders of SAP query, try this doc.  Although old, SAP query hasn't changed very much since this document was written.

  • ATP check based on production finish date

    Hi all,
customer order goods for the 02.06.09.
Transportation take 10 days so,  by itinerary , I'll have the material avaiability date for the 15.05.2009.
    All' it's OK.
Mrp planner , based on customer calendar, insert demand for customer date 02.06.09
We have insert 10 days on material master as Goods receipt processing time, this for anticipate the end of production 10 days before .
Now we need that atp check production order date not including the Good receipt processing time
    Is it possible ?
    Regards
    Sil
When I do atp check by sales order , ato check see the 02.06.09 as avaiability date and not the desidered 15.05.09
Any idea about haw to realised atp check on

    Hi,
This requirement can not be fulfilled by Standard SAP. But you can address this issue via Z development.
You need to maintain Z table with Customer and lead time. Write a BDC and run this BDC once sales order is created. So that system will change requirement date as per the Z table.
I hope this will resolve your issue.

  • Rescheduling production order.

Hi, I am using a custom strategy which is similar to planning strategy 82. whats happening is . when the delivery date in the sales order is getting rescheduled its automatically rescheduling the production order.
but when the production order is rescheduled its not rescheduling the sales order automatically.
    what am  I missing.
when i release the production order( which is having a past date) its changing the confirmed quantity in the sales order to 0. but its not rescheduling it.

    Deepu,
Most of this is standard functionality for strategy 82.  In this strategy, the master document is the Sales order.  Performing an availability check in the SO will have the effect of rescheduling the production order, and possibly changing the Basic Start and Finish dates.
When you change the production order, the sales order will normally not be affected immediately, until the next time that you run a Sales order ATP.
If you wish to change the Production order dates, and have the Sales order 'align' with the ProdOrder dates, you could consider running SD rescheduling (V_V2).
I have never released a past due production order, so I cannot say how the SD order would behave under these circumstances.  It doesn't seem to make much sense to me to release a production order with 'impossible' dates.
