Production order & idoc number
gurus,
is there any table which gives link between the production order & idoc number
check the nast table in se16..
object key is the production order ..
and catch the partner number from nast and pass to EDIDC table with data and time to get the idoc number from EDIDC table.

Hello all!
Can anyone give any information as to how Productin Order IDOC is generated? The requirement is that IDOC should be generated when the production order is "released".
Thanks a lot !
DeepakHi Deepak,
Welcome to SDN.
You can use transaction code POIT or schedule a job to execute standard SAP program RCCLTRAN to generate production order IDocs.
But prior to this, you need to setup ALE distribution model (BD64) for message type LOIPRO and IDoc type LOIPRO01 and also setup the partner profile (WE20) for message type LOIPRO and IDoc type LOIPRO01.
Also you can execute standard program RCCLORD to generate production order IDoc based on individual production order.
Hope this will help.

Production Order Idoc Creation
Hi All,
I need to create a idoc when a Production Order is released.
Can someone letme know how to do the same.
Regards,
RahulHi Rahul,
You can use standard program RCCLORD or RCCLTRAN to create production order IDoc.
Please ensure you have setup the ALE and IDoc configuration prior to run above programs for message type LOIPRO. For examples, the Distribution Model (BD64), Partner Profile (WE20), RFC Connection (SM59) and File Port (WE21).
Hoep this will help.

Hi all
1) I am sending SAP Production orders to my legay system via an interface using Idoc LOIPRO01. I want to send Production orders based on a restrictions like Order status, Release date etc. If I use tcode POIT then I am not able to use the restrictions. Is there a way I can create Production order Idocs based on constraints like order status and dates?
2) In another scenario I want to trigger the IDOC LOIPRO01 the moment the Production Order is released. Is there a way I can do it.
thanks a bunch

GR against Production Order - IDoc
Hi,
At Goods Receipt against a Production Order (Transaction MB31, movement type 101), I need to send an ASN (DELVRY03) like IDoc.
How do I proceed with this requirement?
Thanks for all your help.
Thanks,
SnehaAtish,
Thanks for your quick reply.
Her is my question .... Is it possible to send an ASN like message from MB31? If yes can I use the standard IDoc and output determination using message control to do this.
I have configured output determination using NACE and application type "ME"
Thanks,

Hi All
I have requirement where data is coming from legacy system to SAP IS AFS version 6.0 via GIS to generate a production order. I found the IDOC type for this LOIPRO01.Can any one having the mapping document.
Pl advice for the production creating via external system, need to maintain the BOM and Routing in SAP. As my requirment is no need to maintain the master data like BOM and Routing but need to create production order from External system. Pl advice is it possible?
Thanx in advance
Regards
KumarHi,
All production and process orders are transferred independent of their status in POI in IDoc LOIPRO in the standard system.
To do this, you need all master data in SAP-ERP System.
Hope following URL will suffice your needs;

Production Order Object number
Hi ,
Can anyone explain me what is the use of OBject number corresponding to a Production ORder. What is the use of object number, why do we need this again along with Production order number. I can find the object number in AUFK table along with Order number.
thanks in advancceAditya,
In addition to Mario's comments this kind of fields (which is not visible at transaction level and of no use to end user) used for Table linkage. As per your concern; Object number in AUFK table has link to Work center table CRHD (may be). As a matter of fact SAP has relational database in which data related to a transactional or master data object (for example, production order) is maintained in different tables with a preset of linkage field like Object number (as in your case).

Production Order Serial Number Function Module
Hi All,
How can I get Production order Serial Numbers. Any function Module is there.
I can get from the Delivery by using FM 'GET_SERNOS_OF_DOCUMENT'. But the delivery not yet done. I need to get
the serial number from Production Order.
Please advise.
PranithaHi,
Try giving the relevant fields in SER05 table (Like PPAUFNR-Order Number, PPPOSNR-Order Item Number, PPAUTYP-Order category, PPAUFART-Order Type, PPWERK-Plant etc).
Now provide all the selected SER05-OBKNR into OBJK table and fetch the serial numbers form OBJK-SERNR field.
i.e. SER05-OBKNR = OBJK-OBKNR and fetch OBJK-SERNR value.

How to attempt production orders and get feedback by using IDocs
Hi,
I'm new new to SAP and R3 respectively mySAP. I need to know how to use IDocs (over file system) to attempt production orders to an extern application and how to get the feedback of the whole orders and single operations.
I found the IDoc-base-type "PPCC2RECORDER01" to send production orders. Is that the right base type for production orders?
(In consideration of compatibility and support me was recommend to avoid the old types OPERA2 and CONF21.)
What IDoc-types do I need to get feedback about a production order and its operations?
I hope someone is understanding my questions is able to help me. Please apologize my broken English.
Thanks!

IDoc Configuration for Production Order Creation and Change
Hi All,
Please Help me out for IDoc Configuration for Production Order Creation and Change
I have found the IDoc for Production Order
Messgae Type : LOIPRO and IDoc type : LOIPRO01
Actually my requirment is to send the (LOIPRO01 )IDoc from SAP R/3 to XI system ,when ever the Production Order Created and Changed,
I have done following Configurations:
1. RFC Destination created for XI system
2. PORT was created for XI
3. Partner profile created WE20 and LOIPRO01 IDoc is added in OutBound Perameter.
I need to know how to do the followning.
1. How do i configure the outbound Production order idocs when Production Order is created or changed.
2. in NACE (Output control) which is the Application for Production Order.
3. How can I set IDoc as output Type for Production Order Creation.
Thanks in advance
Dhanabal THi Michal,
I know that it is the old thread but still want to get clarified from you out of curiosity.
Unlike other IDOC, i actiavated change pointers for LOIPRO
1.message and idoc type is linked
2.function module , message type , idoc type is linked
function module used is CLOI_MASTERIDOC_CREATE_LOIPRO
3.BD64, distribution model is created and distributed
4. port and partner profile is in place.
5. IDOC is not getting generated after creating the process order.
do we need to activate the change documents for the message type in BD52,
if yes can you please provide the object types for the same.
or i am missing something else. please guide me in this regards.
Thanks in advance for your time.

Find Sales order number from IDOC number
I have a bunch of SO idocs, in status 64. They are then posted and Sales orders are created.
How can I programatically find the Sales order Number from the Sales Order idoc number once it is in status 53 (other than going to EDIDS and checking if status = '53' and grabbing the 'STAPA2' field there ).Look at table EDIDS for sales order idocs and you can see SO number in any of STAPA1/2/3/4 variable for specific message id and message number.

SD : Serial number in production order
Hi,
SAP doesn't copy my serial number set by function 'SERIAL_LISTE_POST_AU' into the production order. Why is this ?
When i go into the sales order i see the serial number, but after running mrp the number can't be found in the production order. When i go into the 'technical object' screen in the sales order and press 'ok' and then save the sales order, the serial does appear.
with regards.
ErikHi,
Pls find here some details about generating alphanumeric serial numbers in production order as below :
You can generate alphanumeric serial number with the following BADI / Customer Exit:
Name of Enhancement : IQSM0001
Name of Function Module Exit: EXIT_SAPLIPW1_001
Name of Include : ZXQSMU01
ZXQSMU01:
This user exit can be used to create the serial numbers automatically for material of a production order. Number of serial numbers generated will be equal to the total number of quantity. The purpose behind development of this user exit was to attach prefix in each serial number generated.
so as per your requirement you can generate serial number like ABC0001 etc.
Process Steps:
For exit: EXIT_SAPLIPW1_001
1. Get serial number profile for a material in respective plant.
2. Check if the profile is u2018XYZu2019.
3. If profile is u2018XYZu2019 generate the serial numbers for the given quantity of material in production order.
General Program Structure
For exit: EXIT_SAPLIPW1_001
1. Get the serial number profile using function module 'MARC_SINGLE_READ' for a material.
2. Check if the profile is u2018XYZu2019.
3. If the serial number profile is u2018XYZu2019 then generate the serial numbers for the given production order quantity of a material.
4. Concatenate ABC as a prefix to the all generated serial numbers
Provide above details reg. implementation BADI / Enhancement to your ABAPer and go ahead.
Hope this helps.

XL Reporter - Prompting for Production Order Number - How to?
I have watched the FlashBook's for creating reprots, and following the directions. When I go to create a new Paramater, the Document Number is not an available Dimension.
Can anyone point me in the right direction in setting up an XL Reporter report that prompts for Production Order number / Document ID? How do you create prompts for record ID's?
Thanks.
Mike
Edited by: Mike White on Jun 16, 2008 11:11 PMThank you for the help. This gets me closer then I was before.
To test, I am list listing the Production Order Document Number and the Due Date. Looking to list only the Production Order and Due Date from a prompted Production Order.
I tried both Cell Expansion and Row Expansion using the parameter you suggested. Cell Expansion returns all documents, but with a document number of 0. Row expansion gives me an error.
I have captured all the screen shots and posted them to the web. If you wouldnt mind taking a quick look. I am sure something I am doing is off, but feel I am close with your help.

Thank you.

Production Order Number Range - Not Continuous
Hi Team,
I have assigned the internal number range for my order type in CO82. When the system assigns the internal number (my production order is 10 digit number) to my production order, the number is getting assigned continuously. For example, if the last created production order number is 2481000001 , i am expecting the next number as 2481000002. But system is creating some number like 2481000023. In-between many numbers are missed. Why?
Production Order Number Range Assigned: From: 2481000000, To:2481999999 (Internal Number range)
ThanksHi Caetano,
As described in the note 62077, i can do the following setting.
1. Deactivate buffering: Choose 'Edit' -> 'Set Up Buffering' -> 'No Buffering'.
2. If you want to change the buffer size only, enter the corresponding value in the field 'No. of numbers in buffer'.
Case 1:
If i activate the option "No Buffering" for object "auftrag", will it have any negative impact like performance of the system?
Should i need to activate the option "No Buffering" for object "auftrag" before creating the production order?
Case 2:
I do not want to deactivate the buffering. But i will set the 'No. of numbers in buffer'as ONE (1). I think with this settings, the numbers will be always continuous. Will it have any system performance impact?
Thanks
