Production order missing from MD04

Hi all,
I have a production order which is not yet closed nor teco but unable to see it in MD04.
I've checked the status changes but they are ok. I've checked the material is MRP relevant.
Where else is missing?

Dear,
Check the material for which you have created the production order is relevant for MRP in MRP1 View of material master.
Also check in OPJJ that include production order is 'X'. IF not select it.

Dear Srini,
I would suggest two ways to this:
1. Mark technically complete for the production order
Goto CO02, after entering the prod. order
-> Functions -> restrict processing -> technically complete
Save
2. Set rejection code in the sales order
Goto VA02, in the item overview, double your item
In Tab 'Status', enter the 'Reason for rejection'
Feedback whether it helps or not.

Table For Production Order as per MD04

Hi,
I making a report in which i want to take all the open production order as per MD04 transacton, in MD04 when we check the material if there is any open production we can see in MD04, i want to read all those orders from a table i have in AFKO but problem is that it is also showing order which are not present in MD04 even the date of final order confirmation is blank i the table AFKO field GETRI.

Dear ,
System is throwing you this message beacue your FC calander is vaild till 2010 and asking you to put the date btn FC valid from 2004 and FC valid to 2010.
Goto -OP03-Select the Factory Calnder Tab in change mode (pencil mode ) -Select the applicable calender chek box-Double click this -Extende the validit date till 2020 or beyond so that u will not face not only in this particular issue but in many other txn later on .
Agian -come back to OP03 main screen -Slect the Holiday calaner -Extende the same way and reassing in Factory calander
after this , do not forget to re-ssign this FC in respective plant in OP03-Plant assingment .
Try and revert back

Production order creation from sales order

Hi PP Gurus,
I am creating a production order automatically from sales order by using strategy group exactly similar to 82. Once i create the sales order , its showing missing parts error in prouction order and if i check missing parts overview,it says over all confirmation date is not determine.We have stock in MMBE for that material and storage location combination.
I have also chekced the requierement class and type and found ok.
Please help me resolving this issue.

Yes, the availability check will check other stock types also. My concern is why the availability check is failing and giving missing parts even if the components are there in stock after considering the reservations.
I checked OPJJ setting, availability check is active and we did that.
Can you please help me in this as we are stuck up at this point.

IDOC/BAPI for Production order creation from Legacy system

Hi all
We are using an interface to create Production orders from legacy to SAP. Would you recommend an IDOC or a BAPI to create Production orders. If IDOC or BAPI then could you please mention which one?

Hi John,
For your purposes, please use BAPI for production order creation from legacy system. There is no standard inbound IDoc available to use. SAP has an IDoc for outbound interface only (message type LOIPRO).
If there is an inbound IDoc available, I would recommend to use an IDoc.
IDoc technology has excellent error handling and will allow you to reprocess an error (if any).
BAPI is also good approach to use and fast in term of processing.
For BAPI approach, you can use BAPI BAPI_PRODORD_CREATE.

Production Order outbound from SAP to PI

Can anyone help me to send Production Order outbound from SAP to PI?
I have used message type LOIPRO and Basic type LOIPRO01. But I have to enhance it for some customer fields. I am triggering the IDOC from user exit of Production order.
Let me know followings:-
1. Is there any AFS specific IDOC type available?
2. What is the triggering point for Production order IDOC?

I am not aware of AFS specific...
But in order to get trigger the idoc you can use the output types...using NACE for generating and sending to PI...
if you are using change pointers then i think you need to schedule the job for triggering the data in the form of idoc...

I want Production Orders to be closed, so that further confirmation shouldn't be done for these Production Orders. please let me know the solution.

I can set the status 'Complete' if Order is fully confirmed/fully delivered. When ever i run COHV for partially confirmed/delivered Orders, i get error log saying 'Balance of ORD................ is not zero'. Actually we have lot of Production Orders, where there may be Production Orders released only, partially confirmed etc. so i want them to be closed once for all.

Purchase requisitions which created during Sales Order missing in MD04

Hi Guys,
I have an issue with MD04.
Purchase requisitions which created during Sales Order missing in MD04 are not appearing in MD04, but these are showing in ME5A. After MRP Run only PRu2019s are showing in MD04.
Requirement type used 511 during creation of Sales Order.
Please advise me if any config/ Master data is missing OR If required any enhancement.

Hi,
This is common problem. to control this you need to develop an user exit . This exit will check the fixed lot size in material master and will compare with the quantity of production order. The exit will get fired at the time of order saving.
If any miss-match happens system will give an error message

I have a problem in extraction from 2lis_04_p_comp data source. I am some how not able to get some production orders into BI for a particular movement type.
There is no data selection kept in info package too.

Check the Prod Orders in AUFM table and compare the BW data. Genarally it won't miss, r u loaded correctly? i.e. setup tables?.

Automatic GR Problem for Production Order - Missing PARTS

Hello
Stocks are available in the QA stock, The Availability check is considering this stock also, but during Production order confirmation,( CO11N) we are getting error message missing parts , we have two problem
1) we don't want to consider the different storage location / QA stock for availability check
2) Once we transfered the stock to Unrest stock , we can't do CO11N , we have to do manual GR / GI , how to overcome this.

Hy Nick,
For your First Qustion,
For this go to OPJJ - Avaibility Check Control
Select Chcking Group which you have assign to your Order type
(OPJK) and remove tick from Incl. QI stock.And for Storage location don't tick No Storage Location after doing system will check Material availability in only production storage location (Which you have maintain in MRP - 2 view of Material Master) .
For pop up option, go to T.Code OPJK Slect your Plant , Order type and option 1 or 2 (At the time order Creation or Release).
Material Availability checks,
Don't tick No check option,
This setting will give the option of Pop up screen with Massage of Missing Parts.
For your Second Question
Sorry still I still don't under stand your Problm.
But I guess you want to restrict the GR until GI is not done due to Missing parts.Correct or not?
If yes then do the below settings,
go to t.code OPK4 (Parameters for Order Confirmation):-
Go to second tab General Individual Entry,
Tick Goods Movement selecttion and then also tick Terminate for Incorrect Goods movement.
This setting will help to terminate any confirmation for which goods movement containes any error.

Sales orders missing in MD04

Hi,
We have a specific issue where some of the sales order which are already confirmed but are missing in MD04.
We have not able to identify the reasons. For correction we are using the program SDRQCR21 which again displays the missing SO in MD04.
My question - What does this program do which causes reapprearing of SO in MD04? Is it updating some table etc.
What is SO related table through which SO information is diaplayed in MD04.

It is very difficult to establish what causes incorrect requirements.
There are some notes that fix bugs relating to incorrect requirements. Do a note search for SDRQCR21 + your support Pack; some of the hits returned may be fixing a program error that relates to yuor issue,
However, It has been my experience that user exits are almost nearly always responsible, so you should review all relevant user exits to see if they are having an effect.

Open Purchase Orders list from MD04 T.Code

Hi Every body,
we have a strange issue. I am working on report. In our report, we need to capture purchase orders from MD04 transaction, by cumulating all the purchase order from the MD04 needs to display in the report.
Is their way to get these list.
Our input parameter in report:
1. Material number
2. Plant.
for this can any body provide information how to got ahead.

Goods receipt not ticked in production order converted from sales order req

Hi all,
In MTO scenario, where requirement trigger from Inquiry -> Quotatation -> Sales Order -> Plan Order -> Production Order, goods receipt indicator in production order was not checked if requirement is triggering from sales order, however it is ticked if requirement trigger from inquiry, therefore we are not able to do confirmation. Appreciate if anyone able to assist us as soon as possible.

If u create from Quotation, u r able to do GR. right?
