Production Premium Installed in wrong folder

I Installed the software and when i finished installing it said error failed to install the following programs( it listed all of them). This was not new, the same thing happened to the trial.  Although it said it was not installed properly, I was able to open all the programs and run them just fine. The only problem is that everything except photoshop installed to the 32 bit program file. How can i change that?

Photoshop is only 64 bit program so everything else belongs in the 32 bit folder.

CS6 Production Premium installed on my G5 but won't validate the serial number on my imac? I'm sure you can install this version on 3 machines to use non simultaniously, why will it accept the serial on one machine but not another?

No, you can only activate on 2 machines. The rest sounds fishy. A G5 by no means meets even the basic specs for any of the video programs du to not being intel and not being 64bit. Even PS wouldn't install on such a machine, so I'm slightly wondering what you actually installed or what machine you are referring to...

  • Adobe CS5.5 Production Premium Install Errors and Other Issues

    Hi,
I just  installed Adobe CS5.5 Production Premium on my computer and had some  errors pop up at the end of installation.  I  will paste the summary below.   I've tried to install Procction Premium a couple of times.  I've used  the Adobe Cleaner Tool.  From what I've researched, the Flash Issue  is a  a false error since Flash was already installed on the computer.   Is  the rest of it connected to the Flash issue as well?
Thr programs all seem to work fine except for the issue below.
My  other question is that when I am in Windows Explorer and I Right-Click  on say a .jpg file and select Open With...  I am not able to select  Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator for that matter.  I have Dreamweaver CS4  and that shows up as an option.  I have gone through the process of trying to add the  Adobe Photoshop .exe file, but it still doesn't work.  However, if I open Adobe Bridge, I am able to select Photoshop or Illustrator to open a file.  Is this  connected to my install or is there something else going on?  I did  uninstall an ancient version of Adobe Photoshop 7.0 that I've had for  years, but that was prior to installing Production Premium CS5.  Could  that have caused an issue?  I read that uninstalling an old Photoshop  can cause problems like this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, your installation errors appear to be the innocuous false errors related to the brain-dead Flash installer. If the programs seem to be working fine, don't worry about it. As far as not being able to open images with Photoshop from Windows Explorer, I recommend taking that question to the Photoshop forum.

  • Adobe CS6 Production Premium Install Issues

I recently built a new PC and transferred my Adobe CS6 Production Premium and Adobe CS6 Design and Web Premium software to the new pc without issue.  I had an issue after installing different software and had to go back to a previous restore point in windows.  After doing this, it appears as though there are several adobe files still on the pc.  The issue is that when try to reinstall, I get an error from adobe installer which says the installer failed to initialize, and for me to download the adobe support advisor to detect the problem.  When I try to downlad this, it says the support advisor has been discontinued.  How can I get these installed?  I cannot even get to the initial install asking for my keys.  I am running windows 8.1 as an OS.
    Thanks!

I was able to find a previous version of adobe support advisor and ran it, this is what I get.  The path it points me to in the registry does not exist.  hmmm

  • Adobe Creative Suite 6 Production Premium install problems

I am trying to install CS6 Production Premium to a Mac Pro (late 2013) with OS X 10.10.2 and when I click "install" it goes to the "preparing to install" dialogue and then kicks me back to the install options screen. Any ideas?

    why won't the cleaner open?
    it's for cs3,4,5,6 and cc.

  • Installation issue with Creative Suite 6 Production Premium install disks on ASUS laptop, Windows 8

    Hi Adobe:
While trying to install CS6 Production Premium with install disks on my new laptop, many installation attempts have failed due to the DVD player falling asleep while reading Disk 2.  The Installer software and Disk 1 seem to be operating fine, but after switching the disks when prompted, the installation simply stalls.
I have used these disks before and successfully installed on a previous desktop machine.  I have an Adobe ID and issues serial number for this license.
May I download this content in order to circumvent the install disks entirely and try it that way?
    Thanks,

  • CS5 Production Premium Install Problem - Missing Software

I purchased CS5 Production Premium and downloaded it today. However, after installing Production Premium I don’t seem to have the following products installed Photoshop® CS5 Extended, Illustrator® CS5, Flash® Catalyst™ CS5, Flash Professional CS5, and Soundbooth® CS5.  From the download files I was provided I don’t see any way to install these items.

    Rick,
Thanks!  I have reposted this in the Creative Suites (i.e., the correct) forum.

  • CS5 Production Premium - install success.

Well, since these forums are usually littered with issues I thought I'd break the trend!  I just installed the CS5 Production Premium suite from DVD onto 64-bit Windows 7 Pro.   Not a single problem.

  • CS5 Production Premium Install missing some components

I purchased CS5 Production Premium, downloaded it today and just installed it. However, after installing Production Premium I don’t seem to have the following products installed: Photoshop® CS5 Extended, Illustrator® CS5, Flash® Catalyst™ CS5, Flash Professional CS5, and Soundbooth® CS5.
From the download files I was provided I don’t see any way to install these items.  I’m sure I’m missing something; but have read the installation FAQs and just don’t see how to install these additional components.   Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks! - Wolf

    Bob,
I meant to post a reply earlier and just realize I never did.  Your remarks about the folders lead me on a path to realize they were physically never installed and that something happened during the original install. Based on this I ran the install again, and sure enough, this time there was a window where I could select all the "missing" applications and have them installed.  Thanks for the help!!

  • CS4 Master Collection installing in wrong folder

Heres my situation: I downloaded the installer, and want to put all of the programs on my second hard drive "D". "C" is where I have my windows install, but its a rather small drive. "D" is a 1TB drive, and I'd like the Adobe suite to be installed there, since it takes up quite a bit of space.
Every time I finish installing, nearly all of the programs are on my "C" drive, and not the "D" drive. I've tried:
-Telling the installer to install to a folder on the "D" drive.
    and
-Changing the default install directories in the Windows registry to folders on the "D" drive.
Neither of these worked. It installs every single program I select onto the "C" drive, except for Photoshop x64, which somehow is the only one to make it to the "D" drive.
What can I do to remedy this problem? I'm running Windows XP x64 SP2, if its of any relevance.

It's very relevant since it's unsupported. You need to be aware that
you've got a mix of 64 bit and 32 bit programs.
Try a custom install without Photoshop since that's going to install two
versions. If that works out then do another custom install and install
    Photoshop.
You should really consider moving to Vista for 64 bit computing.

  • Premiere Elements 10 & Elements 10 installed in wrong folder(users) how to move to the default folde

Due to the fact that I misunderstood some of the instructions, my 2 programs are installed in the "users" folder instead of the "applications" folder on my MAC. OS 10.7.4 Is it possible to MOVE/DRAG these applications into the correct default folder(applications)? If so, is there a safe procedure for doing so. I have installed the programs but have not launched them as yet. Any advice would be appreciated.

You should uninstall the software, and then reinstall in the correct folder. Attempts to move the folder will not work, and might mess up the system.

  • PSE13 installed in wrong folder

I installed PSE13 in my laptop using windows 8.1 64 bit.  I found that it installed in "Program Files" rather than "Program Files (x86)".  Is this a problem, or will it work properly where ever it is?  If it needs to be moved - how?

Ahhhh.  Thank you both so much.  I was concerned as my older versions were in (x86).  Never knew what the difference in the files was.

  • Installing cs3 master collection and cs5 production premium on windows 7 machine

I have a windows 7 ultimate machine that I would like to install CS3 Master Collection on. I would then like to upgrade the Production Premium programs to CS5.
I have the install discs for both. Any suggestions for how to go about doing this would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

    Tahseen,
    Thanks for the quick reply!
Both CS3 Master Collection and CS5 Production Premium are full installs, neither is an upgrade. I have serial numbers for both.
Machine previously had CS4 Production Premium installed on it, that has been uninstalled.
Should I install CS3 Master Collection then install CS5 Production Premium? If so, do I need to remove the CS3 versions of programs included in Production Premium before installing CS5 Production Premium?
    Thanks again!

  • Workplace laptop install of Production Premium CS6 - invalid serial number

I started a new job a couple of months ago and was given a desktop machine running Windows 7 that had The Adobe Production Premium installed on it. Since a large part of my position entails video shoots, I was recently given a laptop (also Windows 7) for use in the field.
I know for a fact I am the only employee using the Adobe Production Premium that was purchased, and as far as I know the only install prior to my arrival was my desktop computer. I was given the serial number from the prior purchase, but when I tried to install it on the laptop, I received an error that the serial number was invalid. It was my understanding retail versions allowed for two installs per user: one for a desktop, one for a laptop?
Also, the software was originally purchased by an employee who no longer works for the company, so I don't have access to the Adobe ID information. A search of company software purchases we DO have on file also did not give any results.
    Thoughts?

You need to contact Adobe Support either by chat or via phone when you have serial number and activation issues.
