Productnumber AC/DC Adapter Lenovo N200 0769EAG

Hello everybody,
I´ve lost my AC/DC Adapter for recharching my battery on my Lenovo 3000 N200 Modelnr. 0769-EAG. So I want to buy a new one, but can´t find nowhere the Productnumber. It has to be for 20V.
Does anybody know how to buy to be sure its the right one?
Thanks!!
Solved!
Go to Solution.

You need to look for 40Y7700 which is the 65W AC Adapter, supplied with systems that have shared graphics like yours. You can also use the 40Y7663 90W AC Adapter which is slightly larger, but may be easier to find.
Hope this helps

  • My Lenovo n200 3000 power on problems..plese read more for full error story.

My lenovo n200 3000 on switches on when i press the power button wait for the windows sign to appear. it then shuts down. then i press the button again and select start windows normally. i have to do this 3 times every time i switch on my laptop on!!! please help this is very annoying.

This one looks like a hardware/software conflict. Go to service or you can try to do something yourself.
    I can give these advises:
It can be software problem, so you can do this:
    1. You can restore your OS with last saved (fully working and starting) restore point.
    OR
    2. You can try to start Windows in SafeMode and: 1) try to find coflict driver in My Comp>properties>device manager (look for yellow "!"); 2) try to delete all lately installed drivers.
    OR
    3. You can reinstall Windows in "clean" install. I mean with disk format.
OR it may be hardware problem, so you should do this:
    1. It may be problem with power.
        Solution:
           - Try to start laptop without battery. Just with AC-adapter.
           - Try to start laptop just with battery.
    2. Maybe some detailes get out from slots.
           - You should open laptop and check every detail (hdd, ram etc). Get them out clen it and than put them in.
N.B. In my desktop PC such thing was because of "Microsoft UAA High Definition Audio driver". It conflicted with my video. Also in my old laptop it was because my lcd was not fully plugged in.
If nothing of these solve the problem go to the service.

  • Lenovo n200 3000 0769-BAG vista camera driver?

Hello my friends. I have Lenovo n200 3000 0769-BAG model laptop. My operating system is vista home basic x86. My integrated camera doesn't works sometimes. This event happens frequently at now. The camera driver is not original, it is automatically installed when vista operating system setup. So what can I do? Is there any original camera driver somewhere? Thanks a lot...

    Hi !
I have exactly the same laptop and I had the same problem.
It was hardware related. The camera wire become loose and was not connecting sometimes.
You can, if skilled, solve the problem yourself by following the dismantling videos and correctly plugging in the camera. If you route the cable correctly you'll solve the problem.
Bear in mind that you need some tools, time as you'll have to dismantle quite all the laptop and skills in order not to make things worse...

  • Cannot install Windows (XP, 2000 or 7) on Lenovo N200

    Hi there,
I installed a new harddrive on my Lenovo N200 (0769-E8G).
I tried to install basically all Windows OS (2000, XP and Windows 7), after 3 days I am giving up.
Sooner or later there will always come an error message.
I have tried to different new harddrives.
The pc was working ok before.
The funny thing is I can install Ubuntu.
    What could be the problem?
    A virus in the BIOS?
    Thanks
    Jürgen

What is the exact problem you are facing?any error messages?
In which order are you trying to install those 3 OSes?
    Cheers and regards,

  • Lenovo N200 and Recovery from CD

    Hello !
Im new here and english is not my language so plz forgive me any mistakes or putting topic in wrong place.
I have problem with doing Recovery on Lenovo N200. Problem is when i do recovery from CD, i can't turn off some useless apps for me. I don't want to install Symantec's and Office tryouts and staff from Lenovo. I'd like to get clear Windows. However, i can turn off these apps. I CAN turn off apps when doing recovery from hidden partition.
But that model im working with has hidden partition delated. What to do? Uninstalling that software after is rather not good way to keep Windows clean.

It sounds as though you're on the way to recovering your system
When it's finished, I suggest you install ThinkVantage System Update to get your drivers up to date, you'll need .NET framework as explained on the site.
Just in case info. - If, as somtimes happens, it can't install because a previous version of IBM's Software Installer is installed which it can't seem to uninstall, and which also doesn't appear in Control Panel > Software, go to C:\IBMTOOLS\APPS\UPDATER and run the setup.exe this will give you the option to uninstall.

  • BIOS Update for Lenovo N200 3000 0769-ASU

    Hello,
I want to upgrade my hard drive but I must upgrade my BIOS, but I cannot find a BIOS Update for Lenovo N200 3000 0769-ASU with Windows 7, any help or assistance is appreciated.

Sorry for replying to an old post but I found one of theese laptops a couple of days ago where I work. (I work at a recycle station/place/something)
I decided that I wanted to try and fix it since it suffers from the issue discussed here.
I have about 15 yrs experiance with fixing computers and about 3 years with laptops and my repair succes rate is rather high.
But this laptop is a piece of very bad and **bleep**ty workmanship - The whole upper part of the mainboard is toast - the part that is just under the connection to the batteri is badly burned.
I will upload some pictures shortly, and give a detailed workaround if I get it fixed
    cheers

  • Spill milk on lenovo n200 3000

I spilled milk on my lenovo N200 3000
i just switched it off and removed battery.
i moved laptop upside down so the milk dropped on the floor and left in an open air...
i dont know what to do next.

The only thing I know to do is to take it apart as much as you can to make sure there is no liquid anywhere. Then you can try powering it back on. Compressed air cans dry pretty good.

How can I upgrade my gpu on my Lenovo? I know its soldered but is it a complex job to resolder a new one? I haven't seen it myself so I don't know, Is it micro soldering? If I can what GPU's can I replace it with? If not how would I overclock it? I know the precautions, I have lost my warranty long ago, as it is past 2 years old. If overclocking is my only option, is there some guidelines and programs that you can supply? And if I can upgrade my gpu, are there also guidelines to follow and instructions? Thanks

I think that webpage only shows the specs overview but not the part number.  To really go deeper into your laptop spare parts, your computer's "Hardware Maintenance Manual", 42x3553_02.pdf
    http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-63486
As for the memory query, you can search within this forum with regards to the maximum memory you can install but that would depend on the operating system you are using. With Vista, I read somewhere that it can only recognize and use up to 3.5GB even if you have 4GB installed.

  • Discrete Graphics in Lenovo N200

    Hello.
I have Lenovo 3000 N200 0769-B3G with discrete graphics nvidia geforce go 7300. Is posible to change this discrete graphics on geforce go 8 or 9 series?

It is possible to overclock the graphics though, which can improve performance by about 20% or so. Better than nothing... you can download PowerStrip from Entech Taiwan to do that. Another overclocking program is ATITool. Also, some versions of Nvidia drivers available from www.laptopvideo2go.com have a built-in overclocking facility.
I was able to go from 350MHz core/600MHz RAM to 502MHz core, 685MHz RAM with no noticeable problems. The Crysis demo was just about playable (with 2GB RAM, video res set to 840x525)!

  • Bios battery in laptop Lenovo N200?

Where can I find in the laptop Lenovo 3000 N200 the Bios battery?
Message Edited by toert on 12-17-2007 11:38 AM

Hi toert, welcome to the forum,
good question, which N200 do you have?
There are two hardware maintainance manuals for the N200.
The first covers N100 types 0689 / 0768 and N200 0769. In this manual, although refered to as a solution to different problems, there seems to be no instructions re replacing the backup battery
The second covers N200 type 0687, it is shown as a part and has removal instructions.
I admit I haven't gone to the extent of studying / comparing the two manuals for similarities / differences, but hope it gives you a starting point.

  • Lenovo N200 B9G CPU upgrade?

I have a N200 B9G with a Celeron 530. The chipset is GM965 according to the Intel Chipset Identification Utility. Is it possible to upgrade the CPU to a T8100 or T8300? I get conflicting reports when searching.

    hi Kruskakli,
    Welcome to Lenvo Community Forums!
Your Chipset Supports the Processor you want.
    Here's the reference
    Chipset Compatible CPU
    http://ark.intel.com/products/29821/Intel-82GM965-Graphics-and-Memory-Controller#@compatibility
But as per the Motherboard it will be limited to this list
CPU assembly, Intel Celeron M processor 540 (1.86 GHz)
CPU assembly, Intel Core 2 Duo processor T7100 (1.83 GHz)
CPU assembly, Intel Core 2 Duo processor T7300 (2.0 GHz)
CPU assembly, Intel Core 2 Duo processor T7500 (2.2 GHz)
This list can be checked with your system's maintenance Manual

  • Lenovo n200 - problems resuming from sleep on Win7

Ok, so I have a 3000 series n200(the so-called ValueLine nowadays), and I just installed Win7. All good til now. Just that when I resume my laptop from sleep, the screen won't light up. All the other functions seem to start pretty good, but not the display, it remains black, no change. And I don't know for sure if it's sleep or hibernate, just that I'm pressing the power button, so this must mean sleep.
Oh, and another thing, I cannot find the correct and up-to-date drivers and software for the fingerprint reader on this model for Win7.
Anybody got any ideas about these 2 issues? Many thx in advance, guys!

I had that problem on two Lenovo laptops - R500 and now T500, but I only have it when the system goes to sleep because of inactivity, when it goes to sleep on-demand everything works. Both laptops have ATI 3xxx gfx cards and I suspect that that has something to do with it. The solution that works for me is whenever it resumes from sleep with a black screen I wait for it to fully start (about 3-5 secs), then hit Fn+F4 to put it to sleep on-demand and then wake it up again via the power button. It's a long way around but it saves me from rebooting.
Regarding the fingerprint reader, I don't know what hardware does your laptop have, but if it is AuthenTec AES 2810 you can download W7 driver from http://www.authentec.com/win7beta32.cfm. It works great and uses Windows 7 integrated Biometrics platform instead of the ThinkVantage kludge. If you have 64bit windows just replace 32 with 64 in the link URL.
