Profile and profile target

Hi!
I am trying to use Personlization when I am publishing a document. I have created a Profile with a Profile target and a filter expression (Web Intelligence formula expression. I have added a Group to the Profile.
Then I created a Publication and added my profile and also the Group to Enterprise Recipients. I run the publication and opened it as a member of the group but the data was not personalized. Then I also added the group to User Security in the publication but still the same result. Have I forgotten any settings somwhere? Which steps during a configuration is important to do to get this work? Anyone that can recommend some documentation for this?

I thought we had r3 but it is an evaluation license we have cause we are just about to upgrade and the only information I can found is that it is version 12.1.0 on our test installation.
The "formula" is on an object in a universe and then there is a filter expression that says that the object should be equal to a certain country. I have also tested the expression In list....

My requirement is I have a report with Sales Representatives in a Web-I report coming from 2 different objects. The source tables are also different. The data is merged into the report level. My requirement is I need to filter for Sales Representative name and use publisher to do a report bursting. But in Profile Targets they allow to just put one filter. And with that my purpose is not solved. Is there any way I can have 2 filters in Profile Target and use an "AND" condition so that Sales Reps from both objects are filtered.

No, the email address is the "username" for the Sync account, you need a different email address for each Sync account that you setup.

Printing ICC Profile Targets

Can you use Aperture to print printer profile targets without any colour management. Maybe I'm missing something but I cannot see how this can be done. If this has already been answered can you point me in the right direction cannot find anything myself. Thanks.

Creation of Campaign Id and assign Target Group to it.

I am facing a problem in creating a Campaign Id. This is the first time i am working on CRM Marketing Campaign, and i dont know the process of creating a Campaign id for a Target Group created for BP's. Please do help me in providing me any program or link where i can find the sample programs for creation of campaign id, Campaign Element, Profile Set, Target Group, Assigning BP's to Target Group.. I am presently using the below mentioned function modules/BAPI's for creation of Profile Set, Target Group etc.,
For Profile Set Creation:                                         BAPI_PROFILESET_CREATE
For Target Group Creation:                                    BAPI_TARGETGROUP_CREATE
For Assigning Target Group to Campaign:             MKTPL_TGGR_ASSIGN_CREATE
for Campaign Element:                                            MKT_ELEMENT_CREATE

Target group is a group of BP, like a BP list. It's a kind of master data which can be used in business transaction.
And profile set is a base of target group, just like Product Hierachy and Product category. Each target group should belong to a profile set. So create the profile set, before you create target group.
Campaign is a kind of Marketing element of CRM Marketing. In campaign, it need the BP or BP group or Target Group as its campaign objectives. Just like Customer of Sales Order, Vendor of Purchase order.
Campaign can be assigned several target groups or BP or BP groups in it.
So if you want to create campaign and assign target group to it, the steps is:
1. create a profile set by BAPI_PROFILESET_CREATE
2. create target group by BAPI_TARGETGROUP_CREATE, in this calling, you will use the profile set created before.
3. create campaign by MKT_ELEMENT_CREATE
4. assign the target group to your campaign, by MKTPL_TGGR_ASSIGN_CREATEl, the target group comes from step 2, the campaign comes from step 3

Is there a way to remove the changes to the URL Bar, specifically the status information and the target URL?

To begin, I utterly despise the changes to the URL Bar and the removal of the Status bar. In order to stay with the latest version of Firefox I am attempting to recreate the look and feel as best I can.
I have already installed the Status-4-Evar extension. The only thing that remains is to remove the status information and the target URL from the bar.
Are there any settings in about:config that will allow me to make these changes?
EDIT: Status information can be removed by toggling. status4evar.statusInUrlBar. Still looking for a way to remove the target URL...

Open Target Quantity and Open Target Value in Contract

Hi,
When we execute transaction 'ME3N', it displays the report which is having columns as 'Open Target Quantity' and 'Open Target Value'. I have the similar requirement to read this 'Open Target Quantity' and 'Open Target Value' of contract.
Is there any table which stores these values or is there any function module which gives the value of 'Open Target Quantity' and 'Open Target Value'.

Getting error while mapping fields btween DS and Data target IO

Hi,
I am getting error message "Rule(target field:0DEL_GR_WT): No source units assigned" while activating transfer rules btween Data source and Data target.
Infoobject has got mapped with source field BRGEW.
Even in the data source the field units are GEWEI
In BI the units are 0unit_of_wt.
Every thing seems to be fine,but while mapping fiellds in the transfermation i am getting above error

I think u have to assign source unit in transformation .
double click on that particular filed and it will take you to other screen and there you have choose that field and have to assign,
if am wrong please ignore it.

Hello. I am having this problem at design view when i set project to x64. However problem disappear when i set to any cpu which makes it 32 bit.

x64 rather than x86, and then build the app to check the result.
If a new WPF app also has this issue, then I doubt whether this issue is related to your VS.

Html Iframe and CommandLink Target don't working...

In my application, I have a PanelGrid with 2 columns. The first column have a form with one InputText and CommandLink to submit a form action. The second column have a Html IFrame only. The code is shown below:

That looks like a problem with the plugin-container process (OOPP).
It works if I disable OOPP for the Flash plugin and close and restart Firefox.<br />
I don't know what goes wrong though.

Shared variable version on host and RT target

Hi,
Is it possible to use different shared variable engine on host computer and RT target? We use shared variable to communicate between RT target and host computer. Once the products shipped to customers we will keep the software on RT target unchanged but we would like to keep updating the program on the host computer with newest LabVIEW version. Is it possible to just update the host computer without updating the RT target?Thanks for help!

Are you getting an error code or some thing else?
Attached are two zip files. The 8_5.zip is a LabVIEW project that was written in 8.5 and deployed to a cFP. The 9_0.zip is a LabVIEW project written in LabVIEW 2009 (9.0), that reads the shared variable off of the cFP running the 8.5 code.
This works for me, so if you could give a little more detail, hopefully I can help you out.

Support for PostgreSQL as a source and/or target in DS XI3.2 SP2

Hi,
I've noticed that PostgreSQL is not mentionned in the supported database connectivity for Data Services XI 3.2 SP2 (Windows), but it is also stated that "3rd Party ODBC Level 2-compliant Drivers may potentially have issues as not all combinations have been tested yet, but are supported as a general rule."
Does it means that we could use PostgreSQL (v8.0 or v8.4) as a source and/or target with PostgreSQL ODBC connectors ?

I'm looking for precisions and advices about ODBC to generic data sources, where this document says that ODBC level 2-compliant drivers, although not fully tested, are supported as a general rule.
I wonder if it applies to PostgreSQL ODBC or Datadirect ODBC drivers for PostgreSQL.

How & Where to create the Target Groups and Transport Targets for Business

Hi Experts,
I am Transporting the scenarios from Development 500 client XI system to Development 500 client PI7.1 system. I have taken the exports of Technical system and Business System from the DEV XI system and correspondingly have imported the same in the PI7.1 system. I can see the all the business system in the Business system SLD of the PI7.1 system. I would like to assign the Business System Groups and Transport Targets for every business system that I want to transport. How can I do that ? Whether this is to be done in DEV XI system or the DEV PI system? Can somebody elaborate the step by step method to create the Groups and Target system for the every Business system so that I can import the object of the Integration Directory sucessfully................................

Thanks for the reply and good illustration............Still going further after defing the destination for transport in the source SLD Business system ( XI dev server) , then we should export it and subsequently import it in the SLD of the PI 7.1 ie the destination server. Then we should transport the objects of Integration Repository and Integration Directory to the new PI7.1 server. Is this the right way to proceed.? Hope that this will not give the error while importing the objects in Integration Directory. An typical which comes while importing the objects in the Integration Directory is as follows:-
*Import failed because of business system transfer of object Communication Component | PCM: Obligatory transport target for business system PCM not found in System Landscape Directory*
Pls clarify on this ......

Changing Original System and Transport Target System for Objects

Hi Gurus,
I need to do mass transport of all the Infoobjects to newly defined system. Since these objects have different Original system. Its giving me error. Again, for other objects, Transport Target system is QAS, But we want to change it to NBW (A new system to which we want to send transport) . I am able to change package of Infoobjects. Is there mechanism to change Original System and Transport Target for System? Please let me know ASAP.

As we know that we need to have Landing, Staging and Target (Data Warehouse) areas in ETL process. We are able to configure in multiple ways in OWB.
Option 1
Keep everything in single schema/oracle instance with different object naming convention.
Option 2
Keep each one in separate schema such as Landing schema, Staging schema and Target schema in single oracle instance.
Option 3
Keep each one in separate server such as Landing server, Staging server and Target server in multiple server/oracle instance.
What are the advantages/disadvantages on above options?
Which of the above options worked better in OWB environment for you?
There are some folks suggests to work with out staging schema. Is it a good idea?
Do you have any pointer?
