Profile mappings - generated pluggable mappings

When you create a correction mapping using the create correction in data profile editor, the mapping contains generated pluggable mappings. Where can you find these mappings?

I'm not sure where you find the pluggable mapping but if you select the plug in your map and use the 'Visit Child Graph' button from the 'General' toolbar you should be able to see mapping detail.

  • Partner Profile not Generated

    hi! all
Generating the Partner Profile Using BD64
while generating received the message in Green for parameters: Partner (Sender, Receiver); Port (Zport); Outbound Parameter(Zsender).
while checking in WE20 - Partner Profile ; Profile has been generated for the Reciver System with the created message type and port in Outbound parameter. But not generates the Inbound parameter.
As like Profile has not generated for the Sender system.
While testing the idoc using WE19 it says Profile not generated for Sender system
whats the mistake i have done. How to correct it.
    Regards,
    Kv

    Hello,
The distribution model view for which you are generating the partner profile (PP) check the sending & receiving logical systems (LS).
if you want to generate the PP with inbound params you have to assign the your own LS as the receiver & not the sender.
    BR,
    Suhas
PS: If this bothers you too much maintain the inbound params manually in WE20

  • Profile not generated

    Hi all,
In transaction PFCG,I have copied a SAP standard role (SAP_BC_USR_CUA_SETUP_CLIENT) to Z_SAP_BC_USR_CUA_SETUP_CLIENT. But in the authorization tab, when I am trying to generate the profiles..it says profiles not generated and it also created a profile name. I have copied one SAP standard role similarly..it worked fine. Can any one please advise.
    Thanks in advance,
    Ram.

I am sorry. Here is the link which I have gone through and solved my problem.

  • Profile not generated after transport.

    Hi All,
We are facing an issue in which I transported a role from DEV to PRODUCTION through Q.
Our role is generated in DEV......but not in Q and Production.
As per earlier posts in the forum,I checked table PRGN_CUST in the DEV and PROFILE_TRANSPORT value is  set to YES.
Also, the role was added to the transport only after profile was generated
    Has anyone faced similar issues?
    Peeyush.

    Hi Piyeeush,
Did you found a solution to your problem? I have the same issue!
I've created a new role in Dev, created & generated the profile. Once role is transported in Quality, the profile is transported but with the status : Current version not generated.
the strangest part is that i didn't realize that directly... in the meanwhile, the role was already in used in production by a test user who didn't encountered any problem while testing!
basically, the role is now in production, used by one user who can execute all transaction listed in the role... but the profile isnt generated and the user comparison cannot be complete due to that.
    any explanations?
maybe i should create a new topic tho

  • Profile not generating correctly via PFCG

    All,
I am having an issue in our Solution Manager system in that when ever I add one specific transaction to a newly created role via the menu tab so that the profile generates correctly it will also add the following in the t_code auth_obj.
    0 - zzzzzzzzzzzz
so my S_Tcode looks like this.
    0 - ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ, RPM_DX
RPM_DX is the transaction that I am adding as we are setting up functionality for administering CHaRM.
Is there a table that I can check on this?       I have deleted the role and recreated a completely new role and I get the same issue.

Oh deary me... I have that in my system as well...
I can see the SAP developer thinking to themself at the time:  "That's it! I have had enough of these "You are not authorized for this and that" messages now!!!" or "If Chuck Norris can solve all problems with a roundhouse kick then I can do the same to S_TCODE"...
    Thanks for sharing.

  • RGB to CYMK Custom Profile to Generate Specific Black Ink Mix 60/40/40/100

It seems simple. I could swear I used to do this 15 years ago in Photoshop 4 (not CS4). This is just not going so well...
I am working in Photoshop CS5 (for Mac) and am having a hard time with a particular RGB to CMYK conversion. Once turned into CMYK, I want my darkest, richest black to be a 60C 40M 40Y 100K mix. But I cannot find a way to make this happen.
The image came to me as RGB with an sRGB profile. To convert to CMYK, I am using the US Web Coated SWOP v2 profile (I have tried others... just using this as an example), but I am not getting a black that is close to what I want.
    RGB black converts into 75C 68M 67Y 90K. Even the "K" is not at a full 100%.
I cannot figure out how to force the black to be the numbers that I want. Can I do this? Can I create a custom, specialized profile without a spectrometer?
I know how to get to the custom profile dialog (by going to Color Settings, going to CMYK in the Working Spaces, clicking the pop-up and selecting "Custom CMYK" at the top. You get the screen called "Custom CMYK" with the Ink Options and Separation Options and the Grey Ramp). I just cannot find any thorough information in the User Manual that I downloaded from Adobe on what all of these controls do.
I have tried doing the conversion and then using levels to adjust the four channels closer to what I want, but this is damaging the quality of the shading in the image.
Any thoughts or places to start? Thanks in advance.
BTW, I could have chosen to go with a CMYK rich black of 25C 25M 25Y 100K if that makes things easier for some reason.

    @Jeff:
One of the problems with this is that Photoshop forces you to make your custom profile based off of an existing profile. So I looked around and I found that when using the US Web Coated SWOP profile I mentioned, I would turn RGB black into this:
    75C 68M 67Y 90K
Even the Black values aren't ramped up to full 100% there!
So I changed to Photoshop 4 CMYK default and I get:
    62C 50M 49Y 100K
This is much better for me, and I do get the full Black on the key plate.
I may have to use this, as I doubt that I am going to be able to do what I want without a massive research project and a bunch of numerical hoo-doo-guru.
Any additional suggestions would be great!

  • R/3: Cause of generated, but still inconsistent profile?

    Hi all,
Does anyone know how you can create the following situation:
I have a role with profile status "generated" (both SUPC & PFCG show green light).
Yet in UST12 I find objects for that profile that are not in AGR_1251 or PFCG.
SUIM confirms that the role/profile still contains the objects.
I found several roles like this and wonder what the cause is of this and how to detect & prevent it.
    Some screenshots to illustrate:
    [01.jpg|http://users.telenet.be/dunkelburg/SAP/01.JPG] - querying tables AGR_1251 & UST12: M_* objects found in Finance role
[02.jpg|http://users.telenet.be/dunkelburg/SAP/02.JPG] - PFCG shows that the profile is generated
[03.jpg|http://users.telenet.be/dunkelburg/SAP/03.JPG] - PFCG says role doesn't contain M_* auth objects
[04.jpg|http://users.telenet.be/dunkelburg/SAP/04.JPG] - in SUIM: looking for roles that have M_BANF_EKO
[05.jpg|http://users.telenet.be/dunkelburg/SAP/05.JPG] - SUIM agrees that the role contains the object
[06.jpg|http://users.telenet.be/dunkelburg/SAP/06.JPG] - SUPC shows that the role is generated
Thanks in advance for your response,
    Tom

The bet is on again: I will eat my hat if UST12 is only for reporting purposes...
USR12 is for old manual profiles and AFAIK only kept backwards compatible because of some ancient old checks which reverse engineered the authority-check statement or wanted to avoid trace confusion. An example of this is the session_manager itself --> when you logon then if you have full access to user and role admin it wil display the button for "Create Role", otherwise not. This is built from such "probing" of the tables.
However an authority-check looks for the object and your user ID in the client you are in as keys of table USRFB2. If it finds the keys, then it uses the object and field AUTH to find the corresponding values in UST12.
If you directly manipulate UST12 (which is another possible explanation for this inconsistency..) then you instantly have the additional access and PFCG knows nothing of it.
The same is true of USRBF2, however that is nearly impossible to observe and tends to corrects itself automatically after a while or whenever anyone next saves a change in SU01.
@ Tom:  For the generated profiles of the PFCG roles, do they have generated unique names? Or did someone think it a good idea to manually name the generated profiles? The profile name also determines the authorization instance name and this might have produced collisions!
    Cheers,
    Julius

  • Error in generating Profile for Child Role

    Hi Experts,
My requirement is to chnage profile for child roles created. I'm using FM 'PRGN_AUTO_GENERATE_PROFILE_NEW' to generate the Profile for child role. However it gives an error saying "Open authorizations or org. levels in role & => no profile generated"
when I execute it.  Infact the same error occurs when i run it for parent role also.
But prior to attaching the child role to parent role, profile gets generated with no issues.
    Kindly help.
    Regards,
    Anjali

    Hello All/Experts,
I am also getting same error. how to resolve this?

  • How to find all generated profiles (with more than one nomenclature)

    Hello all,
I have an Solution Manager 4.0 system and I want to find out:
    a. all sap profiles created via SU02 (not generated profiles)
    b. all generated profiles
    b. all generated profiles with user assignment
Initially I extracted values from tables UST10C and UST10S for single and comp. profile information. For profile assignment, I searched UST04. But then I realized that generated profiles don't follow a standard nomenclature. Some start with T-54, some with T-56, then T-AA, T-MW [now there some T_MW profiles created via SU02 ]
Can anyone help me here please?
    Thanks and regards,
    Sundar.

    Hi Sundar,
    please check table USR10.
The interesting field for you is USR10-Typ.
    Field value meanings:
    C    Composite Profile
    G    Generated Profile
    S    Single profile

  • Why do we need Profiles ?

    Hi all,
I know it a bit stupid question you would think but do read it complete before answering.
    1. When we create a role the role name is given and tcodes are assigned to it.
Then we go to the authorization tab, before that it asks us to save the role.
So the function of the role is only that much ? .
    2. Then we go to the authorization tab and then go to generate profiles. It pulls the authorizations and authorization profiles for all the objects in a role.
    Now my question is :-->
Why SAP needed to maintain roles and profiles separately, whereas it could simply have a single activation button as we have in ABAP in authorization tab which would pull the authorization into the objects ?  That would not generate any profile and we need not maintain tables related to Profiles.
NOW PLEASE DONT ANSWER THAT WITHOUT PROFILE ROLE IS OF NO USE.....TILL WE DONOT GENERATE THE PROFILE WE CANNOT USE THE ROLE.
hope all have understood my question if there is any doubt let me know.

The profiles hold the actual authorizations which are checked in the software (by the AUTHORITY_CHECK statement).
The roles are a sort of building and administration aid.
Apart from that, as Wojtek points out, the roles bring along additional functionality which has no influence on the actual authorizations.
In earlier versions of SAP (as I've been told, my experience starts at 4.5) the profiles were maintained manually, which was not an easy task.
Nowadays the role concept (started from activity groups...) makes authorization maintenance a lot easier. More intuitive interfaces etc... underneath these lies the original profile concept. As you can guess it is nearly impossible to chuck the whole profile concept overboard and replace it with roles as this would not only mean rewriting the statement AUTHORITY_CHECK but also debugging all programs in the system. Backward compatability can be a good thing.
So, think of the profile generator as your nifty toolbox in which you can click all requirements together and, once satisfied, hit the button that does all the boring stuff (creating the actual profile) for you.
With this I do not really understand the second part of your question as it is only the role you have to maintain. The profile is generated at the push of a button.
    Hope this helps

  • Custom Auth. Object with Profile and role assignment not working

    Hi,
I have created custom Authorization Object with field ACTVT with allowed values - 01,02, 03. Now test it with custom program using AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT 'Z_AUTHORIZ' it is working fine and returning sy-subrc 12. At this point i have not created any role using this Auth Object.
Now I have created custom role ZPM_**** and assigned above Auth object to it with value ACTVT 03. Assigned this role to user.
When I try to test the above custom program with any ACTVT value it is giving sy-subrc as 0. Used below custom code in program.
    AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT 'Z_AUTHORIZ'
                ID 'ACTVT'  FIELD '01'.
Am I missing anything? The profiles are generated correctly.
    Best Regards,
    Nilesh

  • Presets and Profiles

    1.  What is the specific difference between the 2?  Is a profile purely about colour? (as the sliders in the profile pane only relate to colour adjustments).
    2.  A preset can be applied on import  (eg, I am now running a  'capture sharpening' preset on import, saved for different camera bodies and selected in the import menu).  However, is a profile applied by default or not, as I cannot find an option for it in import - so does it have to be manually applied if I wish to?  Or has 'Adobe Standard' been applied by default, and I have to live with it as a start point?
Grateful for any thoughts - this seems to be a little wrinkle that has very little discussion 'out there' about it, and it's now bugging me, as I've been tweaking my import process.
    J

    Weltanschauung,
The <Adobe Standard> profile is specific to your camera. Adobe has created multiple <Adobe Standard> profiles for each camera supported in Lr.
Lr selects automatically the <Adobe Standard. profile for your camera and displays only the <Adobe Standard> profile for your camera.
Apart from that you can create your own profile for your camera.
Either you do it just "by eye", i.e. you adjust the sliders in the Camera Calibration panel. See here for more: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/lightroom/using/WS939594D8-4279-41b4-B8E9-B06BC919EC7C.html
Or you do it - more involved, more expensive, but more precise - by taking photos of a color checker and building a custom profile for your camera.
See here (post # 11) how to do this: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5219619#5219619
But I think you are going way overboard with this.
Unless you take routinely photos where color fidelity is an absolute must in a studio under controlled light you can just go with the profiles that are already provided in Lr.
A camera profile is generated only for max two specific light colors (light temperatures). That means it is correct only for these two light temperatures. In everyday photography we encounter constantly changing light temperatures i.e. light colors. So a camera profile is not so useful in real life.
What you can do is this: Get a gray card (a piece of card board with neutral gray tone - available in good photo shops) and put it in the first photo you take in a certain location at a certain time. Then in Lr you take the WB dropper and click on the gray card visible in your photo.
This will adjust your WB to the same light temperature and light color present when you took the photo.
But I tell you one thing: Often you won't like what you see when you do this. The photo still may look "not right", and you will then adjust the WB manually to your liking.
Don't be obsessed with these technical things. A good photo is not achieved by doing things scientifically. A good photo is one that conveys your vision as an artist.

  • Subject: Why creation of sql profiles take forever

I am on Oracle 10.2.0.4 on HP UNIX 11i. I am creating sql profiles using following logic. Sometimes sql profile is generated in 1-2 minutes. Many times , even after an hour, no sql profile is created and I get timeout errors . I increased time limit from 3600 (1 hr) to 7200 (2 hrs), still timeout error, why?
-- Tuning task created for specific a statement from the AWR.
    DECLARE
    l_sql_tune_task_id VARCHAR2(100);
    BEGIN
    l_sql_tune_task_id := DBMS_SQLTUNE.create_tuning_task ( sql_id => '$SQLSTMTID', scope =
    DBMS_SQLTUNE.scope_comprehensive, time_limit => 3600, task_name => '${SQLSTMTID}_AWR_tuning_task', description => 'Tuning task for statement ${SQLSTMTID} in AWR.');
    --DBMS_OUTPUT.put_line('l_sql_tune_task_id: ' || l_sql_tune_task_id);
    END;
    EXEC DBMS_SQLTUNE.execute_tuning_task(task_name => '${SQLSTMTID}_AWR_tuning_task');

Depending on the complexity of the statement and the underlying objects, the sql tuning advisor will have differing amounts of work to do working through "statistical checks, access path analysis, SQL structure analysis and sql profiling".

  • DNG Profile Editor can't read ColorChecker shot on slide film

I use my DSLR (Olympus E-5, 50mm macro) to digitize old Kodachrome and Ektachrome slides.  As it happens, I have reference shots of a Macbeth Color Checker I shot back then.  I thought I would be able to create custom DNG profiles to get accurate digital conversions of the slides.  But when I shoot the slide of the color checker, convert to DNG and try to build a profile in the DNG Profile Editor, I get an error when I hit the Create Color Table button, specifically, "Non-neutral grey patches.  The gray patch in row 4, column3, has a significant color cast.  Please reshoot the chart carefully to avoid color casts and try again."  I've had the same problem with Kodachrome 64, and Ektachrome 200.
If I shoot a ColorChecker directly using the same illumination (I've tried both strobe and incandescent for the slides, neither works) the profile is generated OK.
BTW, the RGB values for neutral color checker patches on the short of  the slide (strobe illumination) when I open it in the profile editor are
    White  123, 127, 92
    LLG  91, 94, 78
    LG  61,60,60
    DG  27,26,31
    DDG  7, 6, 9
    Black 0, 0 ,0
I tried reshooting the slide gelling the strobe with 30Y, so I got 89,89,88 for what I think is row 4 column 3, but I got the same error message.
So you can see that there is not a consistent color shift across the brightness range (skews from -B at the light end to +B at the dark end, while R and B are relatively constant)
OTOH, the values for the Color Checker shot straight with the camera are consistent in the color shift across the brightness range:
    White 104, 104, 107
    LLG  71, 70, 75
    LG  46, 45, 48
    DG  24, 23, 26
    DDG  10, 10, 11
    Black 2, 2, 2
Any way to get around this or am I just screwed.
    Thanks

    Hi!
I tried YouSendIt. The Express app did not install, and Safari reported an error, bad server response or something. I have earlier uploaded files using SendThisFile, but that required a URL, not an e-mail address. so if you are still interested in the files, you might mail me an upload URL. - Fine anyway that you already fixed the bug.
-BTW, the "Subscribe to this discussion by email"-button does not work for me, it keeps deselecting itself.
    Kind regards - Hening.
