Profile Match Up

I am trying to do Profile Match Up. But it is not generating any training proposals. Do I have to maintain some integration switches for TEM and PD.
Samriddhi

Hi,
I have done this already but still it is not showing.
QP for Employee                 Requirement for Position
English                                    English
Hindi                                       Hindi
                                              Telugu
I have created one Business Event Group Language and under that three Business Event Types English, Hindi and Telugu.
Is that OK na. But still it is not working

  • Profile Match up and Training Event details without LSO.

    hello,
We have requirement where we want to show Profile Match up and Training Event details in MSS.But we are not going to use LSO.
so now que is without LSO there ivew will work or not. Now this iview are present in MSS folder. Is this iview are using LSO function module because of that they might not work?
    Thanks in advance.

To make it more clear.... sorry for not explaining this initially.
    1. There is a service in ESS(ITS) for profile match up.
    2. For mss siddharth is asking from where does the data come in case of pv7i and 8i
So the answer for MSS is that if you need to use profile match up without LSO then you make use of the ITS based profile matchup service to identify how you will carry out a development.
I am not aware of any existing transaction for profie in MSS so you need to develop but the answer to your question is
"you can certainly use TEM (without LSO) to create profile match up in MSS".
This has been done for most of the customers by SAP as not everyone uses LSO.
Function RHPP_SHOW_PROFILE_MATCHUP will help you achieve this very easily without LSO.
Please feel free to ask for more details.

  • Profile Match Up ( PEPM))

    Hi Friends,
Using PEPM - Profile Matchup it is displaying
A Requirement Profile does not Exist for
    s 50001649 Zonal Manager
A Qualification Profile does not Exist for
    P 00051919  Sirulji
Selecting same person and position i can get the profile match up using PPPM and using IT24 also i can get the results displaying all the deficit qualifications and also the Training Needs
Pls let me know why this is happening, Is there any relationship i am missing???
Thanks for your time and consideration
    Best Regards
    Sujana

    Hi Sujana
PPPM is Change profile screen , here you will able to see qualification and also able to create it.
For PEPM you will required to maintain requirement profile for the position
    Go to PO13 -
    > maintatin relationship A 031Requries ---> Qualification which you want this position should have
Also you have to maintain in Infotype 24 Qualification of the Person.
So thus you will be Creating Requirement Profile for the position by maintaing relationship A031 and Maintaining qualifiaction of the person in infotype 24.
After these steps you will able to perform Profile match up in PEPM.
Reply back if still it does not work
    Thanks & Regards

  • UCS Central: How Global Service Profile match DG

    Hi
I'm pretty new to UCS Central and I've got a rudimentary UCS Central question.
I wonder how Global Service Profiles match/relate to domain groups.
To what I've read so far we use different domain groups to apply different operational policies to differenent UCS systems.
How does this relate/interact with global service profiles?
Is there a way to make sure that some service profiles could be associated just to UCS servers belonging to one DG?
Or is everything which is related to global service profiles like MAC-adresses, policies and the service profiles themselves always at the root and therefore can always be applied to all UCS servers managed within one UCS Central installation?
    best regards
    Dani

    Hi Dani,
Global Service Profiles fall under the Organization structure.     And the Organization structure/hierarchy has no relationship/dependency to Domain Groups.
So limitting visibility of Global Service Profiles/Templates to certain Domain Groups --- no, you'd have to limit them within an Organizational context.
    Hope this helps,
           -Jeff

  • Nakisa Query - Profile Match

    Hello,
Can you help, on selecting 'Profile Match' tab on Succession for a position via Nakisa, a blank screen is displayed.  Data (Positions) is selected and displayed correctly on Nakisa display panel. Key positions were identified and flagged as such. Requirements for these Key positions were captured. Successors were assigned with all their qualiications. Area of Responsibility was assigned correctly on the back end for all Org Units. Indexes were then refreshed.
However, a blank screen is displayed when 'Profile Match' tab is selected. What could be causing this.
    We are on Nakisa 2.1.
    Regards,
    Ike

    Hello Luke,
Basis only imported these into our Development system some time back as they only exist there; not into other systems. That explains why Profile Match is not working in our QA and Production systems. Thank you again for raising that question.
    This is closed.

  • Illust CS5 Profiles Match but Pantones Print Differently

Ok. I have a problem with colors not matching between Illustrator CS5 documents. I am often emailed documents with pantone colors selected in them. Later, sometimes I need to create another document using those same pantone colors. The problem is, these two documents print the pantone colors differently. In fact, on my screen the file colors look different side-by-side. I figured it was a color settings or color profile issue, so I went in and checked both files. Everything was the same (Working CMYK: U.S. Web Coated (SWOP) v2, Settings North America General Purpose 2, CMYK Preserve Numbers (Ignore Linked Profiles)) . When I paste pantone samples from one document into the other, they match what's in each other's documents, but the two documents themselves don't look the same and don't print the same.
What color setting could I be overlooking to cause this difference? I don't particularly care if they match on-screen, but it's the fact that they actually print different colors from the same pantone swatch that is the trouble. A blue pantone from one file will print purple from a different file.

When pasting from one doc to another, watch to see if the color shifts if so swatches palette flyout >> spot colors and set both docs to the same option. Though LAB is more accurate and the way they want you to go in CS6, you are in CS5  documents and prefer to stay with the classic option of "Use CMYK..."
If you copy from Doc A into Do cB, and they color shifts: print >> color management >> color handling on both docs.
Aslo make sure both docs are in document Color Mode >> CMYK

  • Question about future Camera Matching Profiles

Hi all, I am a Nikon D300, Windows Vista user.
Recently I've been comparing Camera Matching Profiles on ACR and Nikon's own proprietary Profiles on Nikon Capture NX with the same NEF files. What I've found is that Camera Matching Profiles don't match when Saturation is adjusted. If I increase saturation in Capture NX's Picture Control panel, not only saturation is increased but also local hue is shifted. For example, a yellow flower looks slightly reddish when saturation is increased. On the other hand, ACR increases only saturation. I'm not sure I said this appropriately, but you'll know what I'm saying if you compare them side by side. Set the Picture Control sliders all to zero, they match. But once Saturation is adjusted, don't.
In addition, moving recovery slider, and HSL sliders shifts color in the way that I couldn't expect.
I'm just curious how the future Camera Matching Profiles will deal with them.

Thanks Eric. Even though those Camera Matching Profiles match only at default settings, they're really useful to me. I found that beta2 fixed highlight transition problem. I wish I could get that fat lazy Capture NX out of my computer soon.

  • Profile used differently in LR than in PS??

I've installed CS3 and did a Softproof (edit from LR to CS3) of an image from LR using the SP3800_EFP_PK_2880.ICC profile in CS3. The CS3 Softproof looked identical to the image. Print Preview in the 3800 driver looked identical to the image in CS3 and LR. I then viewed Print Preview using the same profile but from LR this time, and the green tint was back, suggesting that it's a LR issue. Here's the example output from Print Preview.
BTW - the first image is the LR print preview and the second the PS print preview, which matches the screen image in LR and PS.
    http://members.shaw.ca/claude.biron/PS_vrs_LR_color_shift_test/
Any thoughts/ideas leading to a solution?
I went ahead and printed the image from PS, and the printed result on EFP paper using the PG profile matched the screen image in PS and LR. PS is a trial for 30 days. Do I need to spend $650 just to be able to print?

OK, as I emailed Claude. When I take his image and convert to profile in Photoshop and overlay that with the image in the print preview which I extract by saving the preview as a pdf and dragging that on photoshop and selecting image (which will give me an image in Photoshop in the printer profile that was rendered by Lightroom) it is bit for bit identical to the Photoshop conversion, so Lightroom does use the same algorithm to convert to profile. Something must be wrong either with the printer driver or something else in Claude's setup or we are seeing a difference between the Colorsync engine and the Adobe Engine as the Print preview "soft proof" is done by ColorSync, while Photoshop uses ACE. Fact is that the data in the print file is identical to conversion in Photoshop.

  • ISE Cert profile - SAN vs Common Name

    Hi
I have got the following problem:
    - Wireless Workstation authenticate using certificates and cert profile matches SAN
    - recently added BYOD devices that wont work unless I use cert profile matching Common Name
Is there any way to split Wireless 802.1X rule in 2 halves so I can match:
    - Wireless 802.1X and Workstations  -> Cert Profile would be using SAN
    - Wireless 802.1X and Apple Devices -> Cert Profile would be using Common Name
So far I failed in my attempt to split Wireless 802.1X and ended up having to CONTINUE on Failed Authentication on Cert Profile matching Common Name + securing access on Authorization rules which is not ideal.
With this solution iPADs go through full authentication but Workstations hit that CONTINUE option as Common Name attribute is not found in Cert for them.
    based on that link http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/ise/1-2/user_guide/ise_user_guide/ise_man_id_stores.html#pgfId-1382708
i should be able to use SAN for Windows workstations and Common Name seems only option for iPADs so should be able to split Authentication Rule somehow?

I have had a similar issue before and got around it by creating a new store rule under authentication. The biggest sticking point is finding an attribute to use for differentiation purposes. If you are using the same SSID it makes it hard but the easiest differentiator I have found is WLAN ID or Radius Called-station ID. Basically make a rule for CN cert profile that matches on WLAN ID 1 and then make a rule for SAN cert profile that matches on WLAN ID 2. You maybe able to find other differentiators in your deployment but the options are limited in authentication versus authorisation.

  • I cannot find a profile for Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR

Hi, I have tried to download a profile for my D3100 kit lens - Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR but cannot find it in the Adobe Lens Profile downloader.
Adobe says that it is supported (two years ago: see it at this link from October 2010    http://blogs.adobe.com/lightroomjournal/2010/10  )
Since it is listed many places as being supported, it is frustrating that I cannot find it in the Adobe Lens Profile downloader.
Am I doing something wrong? Or can I download that profile without using the downloader.  Can I use the lens profile that is shown with a different camera.  I see similar lenses under D300 and D90 in the folder with about forty NIKON lens profiles (but only two for the D3100). However, under Lens Correction when I tick Nikon as model then I only see about seven lenses in the drop down list.  How can I see the full contents of the folder?
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks
PS.  I was going to ask where the profiles are stored but luckily I have found them after a search.

I too would like to see this lens profile added to the list in Lightroom, in addition to the Nikon DX AF-S DX NIKKOR 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR. I've found a similar version of the 18-55mm under the D40, but not for the D3200, and I haven't been able to find any profile matching the 55-300; only 55-200.

  • Exposure profile edition

    Hi Experts,
I am developing  the report where I need to add/delete documents connected to exposure(TR CBIH92). I have already deleted unused documents from hazards, but I cannot delete document before it exists in any regulations for exposure.
Is there any Bapi to manage that regulation list and add/remove documents for exposure or it can be done only by sql queries? Could you write me what tables are responsible for that documents connected to the exposure, please? It will be really helpful for me.
    Thanks & Regards

    Hello,
The whole purpose of performing risk assessment exercise is not only to totally mitigate the risks of the individual agents, but also to finally restrict the overall risk rating of the concerned work area (which contains all those agents) to an acceptable level.
That is why the concept of "Exposure profile match-up". As risk -assessment is a continual process till the no risk status is achieved for the agent, hence for one exposure profile of an agent, you keep on assessing the risk with the help of "Next risk assessment". Lets say if during the first assessment the risk is high; you need to define safety measures to mitigate the risks.
The safety measures can be again of three types: organizational, person-related, & technical. When all the defined safety measures are in "Task completed" status, then "Value Assignment After Check' field become activated for input. This can now be filled based on the completion of the tasks defined. Once you have entered the value assignment after check, only then you can make a follow-on assessment.
Now, If you execute the Exposure profile matchup function, the rating of the corresponding exposure profile entry is matched up with the Value assignment after check. If you have not made an entry in this field, the main rating is used for the matchup.
You can use transaction "S_ALN_01001345" for displaying various versions of the risk assessment based on various search criterions.

  • Pro-100 Custom Printer Profiles

Has anyone had success in using a custom printer profile with this printer. Glossy generic Canon paper profiles work ok but are not completely on the money. I get a little too much red. I had a custom profiles created by reputable 3rd party provider for a variety of Canon papers. When I use them to print the test sheets the anomalies are dramatic.  Instead of smooth transition of colors steps and anomalies are are printed throughout the test sheet. When I print the Macbeth color chart an example of how far the colors are off one could not find the red square on the printed output. Thinking the provider had a bad day I asked him to do it again. There was no change in the results. I then went out and bought an Xrite Color Munkie. I have the same results as with the 3rd party provider's color profile.
Previously I used custom profiles with the i9900 for years. Still using the same computer and software; CS5 and Vista 64 bit OS. I let Photoshop manage the colors, I select the custom profile,  check Manual on the print driver screens, and select None for Color Correction on the Matching tab. Am I missing something?

I tried the Color Correction to None and when i started from scratch and redid my profiles it worked! Thank you
What I find troubling is where is this explained in the manuals or help? If this is a "professional printer" then custom profiles are going to be used.
Where is the expalnation for the other options on this screen particularly ICM. When it is chosen I only see Paper company profiles. Why do I not see my custom profiles (see link on previous comment)? When I press Help I get the following:
"ICM (ICC Profile Matching) Adjusts the colors by using an ICC profile when printing. Specify the input profile, printer profile, and rendering intent to be used." If your major software products from Adobe and Apple do the color management why is this here?  Somewhere in the internet, not at Canon site, I see its purpose is for applications that do not control the color management.  Which begs the question how many users who use  that kind of software are going to look, find, and understand this screen and color profiles.
Sorry after losing a lot of time and money I have to vent at Canon.   I do appreciate the help. Thanks again.

  • InDesign colors not matching Photoshop

I'm hoping someone can help. I am  on Adobe CS5, my colors are all synced to North America General Purpose 2  through Bridge but the color in my Indesign files never match my  Photoshop files. (Consequently, then the PDFs made from the files match  InDesign as well). The profiles match in both Photoshop and InDesign.  Any ideas how I can fix it so my colors in InDesign/Acrobat match?
Also,  I have CS3 on another computer and the files colors match from  Photoshop to InDesign on my computer with CS3. I took screen shots of my  CS3 seettings and made my CS5 color settings all match, but the colors  still do not match up.  I also tried resetting my preferences for  InDesign, Photoshop and Bridge but it still doesn't match!
    Anyone have any ideas???

Ok, in Photoshop I converted the profile to US Web Coated (SWOP) v. 2 even though the color settings said it was already there. Then went into ID Image color settings and it was on document default, I changed to US Web Coated (SWOP) v 2 but the colors still aren't matching. I took a few screen shots of Photoshop and InDesign below...
By the way, I appreciate all your efforts to help me figure this out!

  • Lens profile for Leica Summilux 50

When I run lens profile downloader, and select Leica from the lens manufacturer dropdown, I don't see any Leica lenses listed. I read elsewhere that there is a profile for this lens, yet I don't see it in the profile downloader.

Adobe probably doesn’t have one because I believe this is a manual lens.
A lens profile is a file that contains a series of corrections that are matched to various combinations of: focal-length, aperture and focus distance.  This lens is fixed focal length, so that’s 1 of 3 parameters that are known, but unless the raws from the camera contain aperture and focus-distance data then a lens profile isn’t very precise and the profile matching can’t take place automatically.
If you want you can try making your own profiles using the Adobe Lens Profile Creator—search Adobe.com for the program, and see if you can get them to work.  Besides the program you’ll want to print out the checkboard calibration target at a known size on a laser printer.
Start by shooting the series of images of the target for just one focus distance and aperture and see if that profile works.  If so, then do some more for various apertures and focus-distances.  If the info is not stored in the raw files then you’ll want to make a series of profiles and match them manually, yourself after recording what the aperture and focus distance were.  If your camera is one that records an aperture value but it is just a guess based on a front-facing photocell on the camera body, then this could be wildly wrong so the corrections may not be that close.

  • Profile Matchup - Training identification

    Hi experts,
we have PD and TEM implemented. when we are doing profile match up it is showing difference in skills and the training needed column is showing empty.
Client to want to enroll them who is having less qualification should be given training.
so can we directly book that employee to training during profile match up if he is not having sufficient skills in that qualification.
I checked all the integration switches it is active.
    Pls advise me.....
Thanks for your time and consideration
    Best Regards
    Sujana

    Dear Sujana
The profile match up identified an employee to be prebooked for a business event type only if the qualification is imparted by the Business event type.
    Its goes like this
Business event type 1 -- Imaprt qualification XYZ (Relationship - a 028) with a  proficiency scale.
During the profile match  if the  requiremd qualifcation for the position does not found in Employee's IT 0024 or found with Low proficiency  than system proposses the Prebooking option on the Profile match up Screen.
Pl try this you will definately get the reply
Do reply me in case its not possible at your end will give you the Screen shots.
