Profile Matchup With Own Position

Hello All,
I am working on upgrade from EP 5.0 to EP 7.0
In this i am working on profile match up .In EP 5.0 standard ITS service MY_PROFILEMATC is used ,this calls report RHPD_MY_PROFILEMATCHUP and Profile Matchup screen opens .It basically shows the same screen as it comes from transaction pepm.
Now i want the same to be exposed through web in EP 7.0 without using ITS .Is there any way or any BSP application with which we can achieve this.
Thanks ,
Pratyush

  • Activate Profile Matchup with Own Position on ESS

    Hi Guys,
We are implementing u201CProfile Matchup with Own Positionu201D (MY_PROFILEMATC Service) on our ESS Portal.
We perceive that this service may be missing in our ESS Portal as we cannot locate it to activate it as a standard SAP Portal Service under the Skill subarea of the Career and Job Area.
Kindly advise on how to resolve this.
    Regards

  • Profile matchup report?

Does anyone know if there is a SAP standard Profile matchup report showing multiple persons qualification gaps at once, without comparing each person with all the specified positions? I only want the report to match the person(s) against his/hers own position, not all of them at once.
    Thanks!
    //Per

    Hi Suresh,
Thanks, but I've already tried this function module, the problem is however that it compares all persons with all positions in the result. I only want the result to display the match or gap between each person and his/hers OWN qualification profile and position.
Do you know if there is any way to get this function module to deliver that kind of result?

  • Required or Optional Requirement in Profile Matchup

    Hi all,
In PEPM (Profile Matchup) result, I see a tick box (Essential Requirement).
How to I set a particular Q as an Essential Requirement for a certain Job/Position? I tried looking up in HRTMC_PPOM but theres no way to assign that during the Q selection.
    Please help.

    Bhanu,
For making a field required on selection, you need to attach a SPEL with the bean, and make it true or false based on your requirement.
Refer PPR section of the developer Guide.

  • PROFILE MATCHUP

    Dear Friends,
I am not clear on where and how to do profile match up? Please help me find a solution to this problem. Also, I want to know what is the use of Jobs and Tasks and how are they related?
    Regards,
    AXE

    Hi axe,
For profile matchup you can use the transaction PEPM, wherin you can match the person qualifications with the requirements against position, jobs and task.
Each of these contains required qualifications which are needed to be matched against one personnel aggignment's qualification.
Try looking out in PEPM, with a existing pernr.

  • Profile Matchup - Compare Jobs

    Thanks in advance

  • Need Expert Advise on  Profile Matchup in HCM

Dear all, we may be familiar with profile matchup using Employees (P) versus potential Position (S).
    I have 2 requirements;
    1. to do a matchup at the department level (or based on a group of employees instead of single). Is this possible via standard or customising is required ?
    2. Calculating deficiency and output as figures. for example, if i have a score of 2 for language English proficiency and the ideal scale is 5, i want the system to say that my score is 2/5 = 0.4 (40%) in a nice formatted display.
Are both achievable? For your kind advice.

Peter whatever you mentioned in your query can be achieved a few pointers on how this sis possible:
    1. your qualifications catalogue and the design of the same determines how you achieve your results.
    2. make sure your config for 'scales' against qualification are correct.
    3. make sure the assignment of the qualifications to different agents --> position/person/jobs et al is done according to the business process requirements.
    4. profile match-up std reports in ecc may not give you a beautiful user-friendly interface to report on however once you got your data and config correctly, I dont see why you cannot go ahead and build a couple of good reports for business critical processes.
    cheers

  • Problem with Image positioning

Hello everyone I am having a problem with the positioning of an image I want to sit on  top of the background in DW. I want it to sit on top of the background  because I want to use a behaviour effect so that it fades in. Anyway, I  go to Insert and choose the image I want, and it shows up in the  top-left corner of my DW, which I expect it to. However, I want the  Image to sit a lot further down the page (and eventually at the center). So, I select the image and go  to the "V Space" in the properties panel and I alter the value in it so  that the image will be positioned further down the page. However, when I  do this for some reason the whole page shifts to the left a little and I  also get a scroll bar that makes the page a lot longer, which I don't  want. Does anybody know why this is happening and what I could do to  prevent it? I will attach a "before" and "after" screenshot so you can see what I mean a little more clearly.
If you can see the whole page shifts slightly to the left and I get a scroll bar which makes the page a fair bit longer. I've also experimented a little by moving the image down bit by bit and found that everything is fine until I cross around 200 on "VSpace"-  after that is when the page shifts and I get the scroll bar.
I greatly appreciate any help! Thanks

  • Is there a way set the object type defaults in the Profile Matchup (PEPM)?

Our users would like to have the Profile Matchup (PEPM) default the object type to P (Qualifications profile of Person) and S (Requirements profile of Position).  Currently launching PEPM defaults to U (user) and S (position).  Is there a way to change the default value from U to P using a PID? or some other method?
    Thanks in advance,
    - Lora

    Hi Lora,
I can't think of a way without changing the program behind it.

  • How to find which profiles created with SU02 have a specific company code

We just added another company code.
    We have company code 10 & 20
We're trying to find out which profiles created with SU02 have company code 0010 or * for BUKRS
I know that you can get that information with SUIM for field text BUKRS and it will show you all the roles or I can browse table agr_1252,
But how do I get the same information for profiles created with SU02
I just want to make sure that users that have company code 0010 cannot access company code 0020 and vice versa
Thanks a lot in advance, this will be very helpful for me
    Thanks again
    Joe

    Hello Joe,
Solution is to be found in SUIM->Profiles by complex selection criteria. In the selectin screen uncheck the field 'Generated Profiles'
