Profile - sometimes Moderator / Answerer tag will not show up under my name

The "answerer"-label under my name only shows sometimes and disappears.
Can someone help me out?

The workaround of refreshing the page still doesn't work for me. I see the tag right after the post is submitted, but after a refresh it disappears forever.

doubt there is an incompatability between atv and windows8
as if that was the same this forum would have a lot more posts about it then yours
go to the settings inside your appletv
unlink it with whatever computer it see itself as being linked to
after the restart
set it to link
go to itunes on windows 8 and look for it
type in the 4 didgets and and have it sync
itunes 11 is the same app on win7 as on win8
all my drivers for netcards and the likes in win8 was not updated when I updated from win7
what apple support tells you is pretty much that appletv1g is a dead product which will never get updates again
this is not the same as it will not work any more

My son has an ipod Nano, and recently received an ipod touch. The Nano will appear under devices in itunes, but the ipo touch will not. I have tried everything, I am ready to throw it out the window. Any suggestions from anyone?

I am trying to transfer an old profile into Windows 7, but the AppData folder does not show up under my name folder in USERS. How can I find it?

When I go to Help & Troubleshooting & click Open Containing Folder I get a Windows Explorer window that shows the file path including Used-Edward-AppData, etc. But when I click on the little triangle to the right of Edward the drop down menu does not include AppData and if I just go into Windows Explorer and Users-Edward, there is no AppData folder. So I cannot overwrite the profile file with the saved profile info from my earlier laptop. The folder symbol next to Edward has a lock on it but I don't know what that means or how to unlock it.

%AppData% is the name of an environment variable.
On XP that variable points to C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\
"Application Data" in XP/Win2K and "AppData" in Vista/Windows 7 are hidden folders, use %APPDATA% in the File name field

Reminders will not show up under location services

I'm trying to set a reminder when I'm at a location.
BUT - I go to Privacy -> Location Services -> and the Reminders Ap doesn't even appear in the list. (see picture)
I have tried to reset the Location Services by turning off and back on. Also by turning it off and restarting my phone.

Whenever I try to play a wmv file through firefox it will not load. It was not a problem a few weeks ago. Under plugins it is saying I do not have windows media player. This was happening to me too but only for some of my songs. I have a mac so I dunno about PCs, but for most of my ringtones I had to create an ACC version in itunes to make them short enough then turn that into a m4r and those all worked fine. But if the song was already short enough and I didn't create an ACC version and just turned the original into a m4r, then it wouldn't appear in my itunes.
so if you're on a mac:
1. go to get info, options, pick when you want the song to start and end.
     Has to be pretty short to work, 30 second or less is good
     if it's already short enough that's fine
2. right click and click 'create ACC version'
     a copy with the length you put in will appear, drag that into a folder or whatever and just type in m4r where m4a would be
     still make an ACC version even if it's the right length

Any TextFrame Created on Server will not show as tagged on desktop

Hi All,
related to an eariler post - if I create "any" text frame on InDesign Server, it will not show as tagged when opened in desktop.
I run the following code on InDesign Server CS3:

var frame = doc.pages.item(0).textFrames.add();
//..set geometry...save document...
When I then open the document in desktop and tag the frame, it all works functionally but the frame will not display as tagged ("ie View..Structure..Show Tagged Frames").
If I add a new frame to the same document (via UI) and tag it - it all works fine.
If I copy the server generated frame - it will still not display as tagged.
Strange, and very annoying! Has anyone else come across this issue.
Can anyone else replicate it for me so I know I'm not mad or have some dodgy install?

I see the same problem, so no, you aren't crazy. I tried running the same javascript from within InDesign, but that text frame draws correctly. So, it doesn't look like it is a scripting problem, but a problem unique to InDesign Server.

ID3 tag information not showing up on imported files

I've only had my iPod for a couple of days and I'm working right now on importing all my computer's mp3 files into iTunes, using "add folder to library." Most of the time it's going fine, but for some files the ID3 information will not show up for no apparent reason when it is definitely there (it shows up fine in Winamp etc)--sometimes it will even be only a few songs in a folder with the others working! I have no idea what to do, and when I search the forums all I can find is other people having the same problem but no answers. Someone help please?

Go to menu Advanced -> Convert ID3 tags.
Select ID3 tag version: V2.2.

IPod Touch will not show up in iTunes...Please Help

Here is what I know/can remember. My iPod has not worked in 3 months! Not sure at what point it stopped but it worked fine for a year. Now when I plug it in it charges just fine just will not show up in iTunes. Sometimes it shows up as an unknown device on my computer and in the hardware device section shows up as unknown device. Thats all I got. I have tried all kinds of troubleshooting. I have took each little peice off and then reinstalled numerous times. I have even restored my computer back to square one. Still not working! I want to cry. I just want to listen to my podcasts again. They are downloading into Itunes just can't get the Ipod Touch to show up in iTunes...willing to try anything! Please help if you can! I have a 16GB and use XP with SP3. I assume all my hardware is good to go since it worked before and it charges through the USB port!

Saved file will not show up when trying to attach file in mail

Sometimes... and only sometimes.. when I make a new file and then go back to my email or browser to attach the file it will not show in the place I saved it. If I click to list view SOMETIMES. I check the folder I saved it in and it's there.... .. go back to attach it.. it's not. Sometimes it will pop up if I toggle to column view then back to list view, but not always. Sometimes it's there the first time. Frustrating!!!

This sounds like a permissions problem. Have you recently Repaired Disk Permissions? Is the file saved on the same HD or partition where your Home folder resides?

The music will show up on my iPad and on iTunes but will not show up on iPhone 4. My wife has the same issue with the 4S and both phones have been like this since we bought them. Everything synchs but music. The synch music box is checked. Any ideas????????
