There are certain profiles in location master data FR view , could you tell me how to create all this profiles?

Forecast and Replenishment (FR) relate profiles
Time Series Profile : A time series profile contains a set of time series definitions. A time series definition describes the operational meaning and technical behavior of a time series instance.
For creation this profile goto SPRO --> Forecasting and Replenishment --> Time Series --> Maintain Time Series Profile
Program Name is /FRE/SAPLUI_TSPR
Similarly you can create other profiles :

Forecasting and Replenishment --> F&R Processor --> Maintain Base Profiles
Maintain Exception Base Profiles
Maintain Exception Base Profiles
Maintain Requirement Calculation Profiles
Maintain Service Level Profiles

Maintain Forecast Frequency Profiles

Maintain FRP Start Profiles
Base Profile for F&R : The base profile contains all basic FRP settings for a single location, including selling class limits and forecast horizons.
The forecast horizons are only taken into account if no operational forecast horizon is defined on the location product level.
Profile for Requirement Quantity Optimization: The requirement quantity optimization profile contains settings for optimizing order proposals.
Exception Base Profile : Alert Profile
Responsibility Profile for RWBS
Consumption Profile:
Temporary Replenishment Blocking:

As mentioned above, settlement is to post the cost to cost centers or any possible receivers as per the settlement profile. PM / Service orders, WBS elements, etc., can be temporary cost bearers from which cost should be settled to some permanent receivers.
Cost elements / Cost element groups should be available as Master data before configuring settlement profile.
To answer your latest query, there are 2 type of cost centers.
Sender Cost Center - Against this, labor / internal activity price will be maintained in KP26. This cost center will be maintained in PM / PP work centers. While creating PM / PP orders, one of the work centers & activity types will be mentioned. Based on the KP26 entry for the combination of Activity type & Sender cost center, price will be picked & calculated according to work hours / labor hours maintained in PM / PP orders.
Receiver Cost Center - Receiver cost center is the department / location cost center to which cost should be settled. Only receiver cost center will be maintained in settlement profile. Sender cost centers will be picked up automatically from work center.

Creation of Location Master Data

What's the transaction code for creating Location master data or program SAPL0A02? Has anyone tried to do LSMW or SCAT for uploading hundreds of items?

If I am correct we can create locations through SPRO transcation.
Enterprise Structure>Definition->Logistics General--> Define location.
Here we can create number of locations on plant wise.
The key in this field indicates a location within a plant.
You can use the location to set up a plant according to space and local area. You can assign an address to a location.
The following master data objects can be referenced to a location:
Asset master records of asset management
Equipment
Functional location
Work center
Production resource/tool

Create a specific user profile to Material master data

Dear colleagues.
We need create on R/3 4.6 a specific user profile for material master data, to create or modify (MM01/MM02) only the following views: 'Sales org. data 1', 'Sales org. data 2' and 'Sales:General/Plant data'. The problem is that when I use the SAP gui functions, I can create the profile, but also with the views 'Foreign trade: Export data' and 'Sales text'. Someone know how create this profile without this last two views? Thanks.

Location Master Data Screen @ O401 for TSW

Hi IS OIL Expertise,
While creating Location Master Data@ O401 for TSW; I need to assign Transport System, Partner Role and material to Location, however I can’t see Location Hierarchy, Transport System, Partner Roles, and Material Tabs on Location Master Screen @O401.Could anyone please suggest me on this.

Could you please check the Business Location Type screen customization from SPRO.
Industry Solution Oil & Gas ( Downstream) >> TSW >> Master data >> Business Location type.

ERROR WHILE UPLOADING FUNCTIONAL LOCATION MASTER DATA THROUGH LSMW?????

Dear Experts,
I am uploading the master data of functional location through LSMW .I had completed all the steps except "Run Batch Input Session".
In that step it is showing as functional location already exists, after this error the remaining functional locations are updated in sap or it will stop total transaction by this error???
how can u upload the remaining in to sap by skipping already existed one????

Location Master Data - Delete Location

HI!
I need to delete a Location with a false setup in order to transfer and create it new (via CFM).
I tried /SAPAPO/LOC3, set the delete flag and startet Job via Extras -> Delete Location -> immediately but no success.
I tried report /SAPAPO/DELETE_LOCATIONS via SE38 but no success as well.
Any idea what might be wrong and what I need to do differently?

Hi Karsten
Run transaction WUF in APO (Where Used List) and choose "Object Type" Location, then in the Attribute field also select "Location" and enter your Location number in The Value field and press Execute.
You should now see the result of your analysis and the location in the left hand pane, click on the location itself and in the righthand side it should show all dependant objects, eg Model, Location-Product, Resources etc that use this location.
These will need to be deleted first, before the location itself can be deleted.

HR Master Data and Time Data Idocs

All,
I am having an issue with the trailer segment on my idocs. The start and end dates for the payroll period on the trailer do not consistently match that of the header. It seems to take the dates on the last Key segment.

1. why for order series, no check is necessary? I understand your answer that order series are saved with reference to order so its not required.
even though order series are saved with reference to orders, thy are related to product and location master data.an order is saved for a product and location combo. so its related to master data at the end of the day.
so if there is master data changes, it should effect both time series and order series. but why the document says only time series?
can you give me an example to show how changes in master data does not effect order series? Thx

Location Master in MDM

Dear all
We are working on a POC for transferring all Location Master Data with all attributes from SAP as well as Non SAP systems.As of now we dont have any standard bus content for this master data type which means we have to develop everything data model, maps,xsds all from scratch.
Can anyone pls explain how to go ahead this regard.
Shall we create data model on our own?
Which IDoc to use for transfer of location master data from R3?

Dear Ravi,
When you mention Location Master data in R/3, I am interpreting it as Plant level Extensions to Material Master in R/3. If that is right , then in the Products Repository we have a look up qualified table for Location Data . This table would contain the MARC ( Plant level data) from R/3. This data can come in the MATMAS message type.

ECC Master data does not time dependent

Hi,
I have a question . In ECC i have Functional Locational master data object which is not time dependent. Client need time dependent report in BW but they are not able to set time dependent in ECC. is there any solution in BW to convert normail object to time dependent Object.
Note: getting delta though funtion module.
Please help me....

Activate Change Document - Product Master Data

Hi Experts,
I am looking for comments on the following things. I hope the experts could share experience related to real time projects that you have worked / are working.
I am considering the option to activate Change Documents for Product Master data, Product Location Master data and Transportation Lanes.
Question I have (Please answer on any or all of the questions, if you can):
1. Have you activated change documents on Product Master data? If so, how many products you have in total (number of entries in /SAPAPO/MATKEY)?
Have you turned it off later due to performance reasons? Or Storage/hardware constraints?
2. Do you have the change documents active on Location product master data? How many location products do you have in total (no. of entries in /SAPAPO/MATLOC)?
3. Transportation lanes - Change documents activated? Does it also say if the external procurement relationship is activated or deactivated and the user who did this and date? How many transportation lanes do you have in total? Is there a possibility to activate the change documents on transportation lanes only for those which are procured from external vendors (not for Stock transfers... only for those arrives in from Suppliers)?

How to display field Functional Location Field in Asset Master Data

Dear Experts,
I really appreciate for your advices on how to display Functional Location Field in Asset Master data.
I have checked the configuration on path IMG:\Financial Accounting->Asset Accounting->Master Data->Screen Layout->Define Screen Layout for Master Data
I have chosen the screen layout and review all Logical Field Groups. And there's no field "Functional Location" is available. I also didn't find "Add New" button to add "Functional Location" field.

I am sorry this is not possible.
Note 140482:
The field was created as a precaution. However, it is not being used at
present and consequently is not supplied.
In particular, you cannot use the field as a criterion for a selection
in Asset Accounting reporting. This is still true even if this field has
been included in the selection view delivered for the dynamic selections
by modification.

I have a requirement of sending same location data from different logical ERP System to the SAP SCM System using CIF(Core Interfaces).
I need to add suffix in the master data for Location to the inbound processing of Location data in the SAP SCM system to differentiate between the two systems.
I have got an information to use EXIT_/SAPAPO/SAPLCIF_LOC_001 BADI enhancement point for the same.
Can anyone please help me out with the code snippets.

HR master data & EDI partner profiles

Hi,
I want to link my user to a PERNR in PA30 (infotype 105 subtype 0001).
When I try to save, I get:
"Entry in outbound table not found. No partner profile (outbound parameter) could be found using the following key: .. Please check the EDI partner profiles."
Where can I define the link between HR master data (PA30) & EDI partner profiles (we20) + what is the purpose?

Let us know on EDI partner profiles.
In 0105 IT subtype 0001 is System user name.
It is the linkage point with SAP R/3 and ESS Portal.
After maintaince of data in 0105 IT with subtype 1,we can view the details in Portal according to data maintainnace.

Can someone tell me what the "address" data (in equipment master data, "Location" tab) are for?
What is an example of business case which will use that "address"?

Hi,
It is the same address data that is available on equipment header (Ctrl+F5). It could be the address of where the equipment is located or where it operates. Alternatively it might be the contact details for the equipment owner or maintenance company.
It is similar to maintaining partners but you can use it as suits the business requirements.
