Profiles on router

When I connect to my router through my laptop's Intel PROset Wireless, a message appears saying: "More than one profile exists for the available network 'SSID name.' Select the profile you wish to connect with." It then lists two profiles, one is correct and the other is something else. How do I change/delete the extra profile? Thanks.

Hi
As far as I know, Intel PRO has a profile manager included in its software (Windows Platform). You should double-click on the tray icon and go into profiles. Then delete both profiles and try to create just one to avoid conflicts.

  • Profile Manager-Router Ports

Just finished installing Lion.  Need to know what specific ports are required to open on a firewall to support external access for Profile Manager for provisioning IPhone/Ipad?

    Hi All
I have configured MDM with Mountain Lion , Server Tools 2.2.1 , worked fine with iOS device (checked with iPad) worked fine.
But when I push to OSX devices, it stuck , ... lot of search on Google and found some threads that people had the same issues.

The solution was to open following ports:
o use Profile Manager, you should ensure that the following ports are open on your network.
    Port
    TCP/UDP
    Description
    2195, 2196
    TCP
Used by Profile Manager to send push notifications
    5223
    TCP
Used to maintain a persistent connection to APNs and receive push notifications
    80/443
    TCP
Provides access to the web interface for Profile Manager admin
    1640
    TCP
Enrollment access to the Certificate Authority
But when I tried to open the ports (tried both text based and with ICE Flor)
sudo ipfw add 27860 allow tcp from any to any dst-port 2196
sudo ipfw add 27860 allow tcp from any to any dst-port 2195
add 78600 allow tcp from any to any dst-port 5223
When I use sudo lsof -i -P | grep -i "listen" , it didnot show me if the ports are open.

  • Recent bRAS Profile Change - Router Stats

    Hai!
Recently, my IP profile has been dropping consistently. I was on 3000 bRAS profile not too long ago (I think I had 5000+ sync in the test socket once).
Since this Edinburgh outage, my profile has been dropping every few days with no disconnections. I decided to put the hub in my test socket last night and let the hub settle overnight before I posted the results here. My sync has gone up, but I don't understand the noise margin etc... Can any techie types give me any clues as to what may be wrong with my connection? Are these current stats OK in the test socket, which would point towards my internal wiring being at fault? Are these current stats showing a problem with my connection in the test socket, which would point towards an external fault?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  • Error in LSMW, when creating Routing - QP01

    Hi All,
I am facing problem when executing LSMW, I am creating Routing through standard Batch input method, the problem is that on 13th step when system asks for creating batch input session, system by default takes filename.lsmw.conv, 'filename' is basically the name of file being converted internally by the system.
Error that I get is 'No profile with entry tool for task list / / / in session ROUTING_CREA', here ROUTING_CREA is the name of the session. I have given the value of field profile in 5th step when we map the fields and give some constants value for fields when required. I have given a constant value for field profile(BIPKO-PROFIDNETZ) in data maping. Profile basically contains some default values for routing when we create routing we can give the profile and routing will capture some default field values from the profile, under profile there is a check box which is 'entry tool' that must be in active mode if operation level data is required. I have done this setting going into SPRO. Now I do not know Whether the error that I got is due to the profile problem or am I missing something else. Kindly If someone before me has already been through this problem then suggest me how to fix this problem.
    Regards,
    Ashok

    hi,
i think, the error is due to file naming convention in SPECIFY FILE step.
There will be a set of types of files.
    1. Presentation server file name.
    2. Application   server file name.
etc. just double clock on the application server file name & try to change & give some meaningfulname.
    try & let us  know.
    Thanks,

  • LDAP Profile Source

Hi, I've got a problem with LDAP Profile Source.
In my LDAP I've got two OU for my user. In the first ou "ou=People" I've got : uid, Name, Society and in the second ou "ou=Society" Address, Telephone, Fax.
I don't know how to get data from multi OU with LDAP Profile Object.

Along the lines of what Mark was saying - you must have a single auth source that is bringing in multiple OUs. The trick is that you can have multiple profile sources, simply set the query base in each to your specific OU with the specific property map for that OU. Set each profile source to profile sync the everyone group for your auth source. Each user in the entire auth source will be sync'd by each profile source, but the users will only match one of the two profile sources. This way they get properly sync'd and you get the correct vars.
The other thing you can do is simply setup a single profile source, put all the properties in the property map regardless of OU. Only the properties that values exist for will get imported to the users they exist for. If you want to limit the props however (i.e. they actually exist for both OU's but you only want the ones you specify to show up), then you need to take the 2 profile source route.
    Hope this helps,Akash

  • Route IDocs dynamically to different ports

    Hello,
Is there a way to dynamically (at runtime) bypass the port defined in the partner profile and route the IDoc (invoice) to a different port?  We have two physical EDI servers connected via tRFC to the same SAP host and need to route outbound IDocs to different EDI physical servers based on the sales organization ID that created the invoice.
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
    Danny

look for the updated firmware of the SPA8000, this one has the option for trunks
you can register the one account there and assigne routing information to particular lines on the SPA8000.

  • G4 Powerbook times out when trying to log in to wifi router

I have a Thompson wireless router which has been firmware upgraded. I can successfully access the Internet with my Intel iMac and my PC laptop. When I try to connect to the router using Airport on my G4 Powerbook 867Mhz OS X 10.5.8. I get a connection timeout message. I have successfully connected by airport/wifi to my old router in London and even to a MacDonalds free wifi. No luck here and ISP unable to help despite sending me a new router and recommending the software upgrade. Any assistance greatly welcome.

Open System Preferences > Network > Advanced > Proxies
Deselect any checked boxes on the left then click OK.
If it's not a proxy issue, back to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Firewall
Make sure the Firewall is turned OFF.
If none of the above has helped, try troubleshooting extensions and third party plugins.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test. If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.
If it's not an extensions issue, try troubleshooting third party plug-ins.
Back to Safari > Preferences. This time select the Security tab. Deselect:  Allow all other plug-ins. Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that made a difference, instructions for troubleshooting plugins here.

  • RRI routes deleted

        Hello,
    I have a Cisco 2911 with ios (C2900-UNIVERSALK9-M), Version 15.1(4)M1
I have set up a Dynamic cryto map to wich I have set reverse rute injection. But I have a weird issue.
First time a tunnel is stablished the reverse route is injected properly. When the lifetime of the fisrt SA negotiated is reaching it's end a new SA is stablished (I can see two spi) and now the weird thing, When the first SA reaches it's end of life, it's deleted but it also deletes de route injected, so there will be no route to the destination until the second SA is reaching it's lifetime, then a new SA is stablished that injects the route but again the route only lasts until the previous SA is deleted wich again deletes the route.
Is this a known caveat or am I doing something wrong?
    Thank you.

Difficult to say without looking at crypto logs and configs. But you might be hitting this defect
CSCtr87413 (which is related to CSCtz74471)
    CSCtz74471
ipsec profile : RRI routes get deleted after IPSec SA lifetime expiry
Symptom: Routes injected via RRI (based on IPSec crypto ACL) get deleted after corresponding IPSec SA gets timed out. Conditions: IPSec SA deletion due to timeout . Workaround: Enabling DPD and Invalid-SPI-recovery would recover the routes once the traffic starts again, but this does not always work.
    This is fixed in 15.1(4)M3.

  • Rough cut planning in SOP for resource levelling

    Hello,
I am trying rough cut planning in SOP.
I have created rough cut planning profile for a product group by using MC35.
The task list exits for the product group.
In task list , work centre is maintained and the same is given while creating the rough cut profile.
This product group contains some part number.
    When I try Views--->capacity situation -> rough cut planning--->show.
    System gives error that -
    > No resource load found.
<u><b>Diagnosis given by system is as follows,</b></u>
This situation may be caused by one or more of the following:
    •     No PP task list (rough-cut planning profile, rate routing, or routing) corresponding to the Customizing selection criteria has been defined for this material/product group at this scheduling level.
    •     Resources planning has not been configured appropriately in Customizing.
    •     The information structure which you are planning has not been configured appropriately in Customizing.
    System Response
No capacity load could be determined.
    Procedure
    1. Check that a PP task list exists for this material/product group.
    2. Check that a lot size range has been maintained in the PP task list.
    3. Have your systems administrator check and, if necessary, change the resources planning settings in Customizing for Sales & Operations Planning (the steps "Scheduling levels" and "Routing selection").
    4. Have your systems administrator check that capacity planning has been defined for this information structure in Customizing.
Please let me know how to maintain the resource planning settings for scheduling level and routing selection.
    Waiting for your reply.
    Regards,
    Ravindra Deokule

    Hi Ravindra,
You can use t.code mc84 to create a product group.
Pl follow the following steps to do SOP with product group.
    1. Create a Product group in tcode MC84.
Enter a percentage for material say X & Y to be produced. X 40% & Y 60%. Total qty will be split in the ratio as per the %.
    2. Create Production Plan in tcode MC81.
    Enter the sales plan qty.
Then goto menu, edit & choose create Prodn Plan synchronus to sales.
    3. Create Rough cut Planning Profile in tcode MC35.
    4. Enter the Status ,Usage & lot size.
    5. Choose resources tab & then choose work center & enter work center name which you consider as a bottle neck & then enter the unit of measure as 'min'.
    6. Use MC82,
Choose inactive version and select your version.
    then goto menu->views> capacity situation>show
7.Check for over loads & adjust your qty acordingly.once the load becomes 100 % save.
    8. Change the inactive version to Active version in tcode MC78.
ie in the version enter the inactive version & in the target version enter'A00'
9.In mc82 choose active version, you can see that the plan is activated now.
10.In the menu choose extras & transfer to demand mgmnt.
11.You can see the requirement in the md62 transaction.
    12.Then run mrp.
Also regarding the unit of measure in t.code mc35,
If you select your resource as 'workcenter' & choose min or hour & then you enter 1(eg) in the first field against the work center. This means it takes 1 min or hour to produce 1pc(base quantity) in that particular workcenter(bottleneck workcenter)
Reg: Capacity calculation in mc87,follow the eg as above.Enter 1 min as time & base qty as 1 in mc35. Then check in mc87, you will get the load in %. ie if your work center is permitted to work for 8 hours/day & you pass a production plan of 480, then your load will match for 100%.

    Hi Rohit,
CUCM releasing the call because it's unable to find the called number received i.e. called number does not exist in dial-plan.
    Check below points:-
1). Check the CSS on the SIP trunk in CUCM (may be called number is not accessible due to incorrect CSS).
2). Check the translation pattern and it's CSS.
3). If you are not using translation pattern then check for the translation profile in router config. In this case you can check and share your running-config and debug voice dial-peer or debug voice ccapi inout.

  • How to set netctl to have eth0 up and wifi

I didn't find the clear answer, yet.
My situation require to connect via wifi and a access point hooked on eth0 to serve more wifi users. The system works, but I must enable the eth0 manually.
This is my setting ( a small ASCII drawing )
                 +-----------------+                                               +------------+                                                    +------------+                 /

                 +-----------------+                                               +------------+                                                    +------------+                  \
    Here's my setting
    $ ip route
default via 192.168.1.1 dev wlan0 proto static
192.168.1.0/24 dev wlan0 proto kernel scope link src 192.168.1.2 metric 9
192.168.2.0/24 dev eth0 proto kernel scope link src 192.168.2.2
During boot I face privoxy failure because it's looking on the ethernet to be available, that it isn't automatically up, as the wifi should take priority.
I configured a profile for route like
    $ cat /etc/netctl/wired
    Description='A basic static ethernet connection'
    Interface=eth0
    #Connection=ethernet
    IP=static
    Address=('192.168.2.2/24')
    Routes=('default metric 1 via 192.168.1.2')
    #Gateway='127.0.0.1'
    DNS=('127.0.0.1')
DNS is managed by pdnsd. Also the internet sharing is working and iptables is finely set. Only the bother to re-enable the ethernet every boot.
I'm afraid it doesn't start the wired configuration by netctl-systemd, At the moment I don't will to shut down, so I can't ensure that is possible. I most of my trial didn't work, then I just have to do the old style ifconfig eth0 192.168.2.2 netmask 255.255.255.0 up and restart privoxy.
    Any advice, please.

The Ethernet connection is used to get into my box (sets as a server), which provide Internet sharing, by some nice junk filtering.
Then for my box the route to Internet is on 192.168.1.1, that is the gateway.
The second route is an incoming route which will follow the the 192.168.1.1 branch. Maybe it's defined as bridge, but it isn't something of my knowledge.
Practically we, family members, might chose either to connect to the modem directly or to my AP, the disadvantage to go directly, conflicts with my box, slower DNS and a big bunch of advertisement.
So, the traffic starts from the right hand side to go to Internet (on the shown sketch). The AP just take newcomers to go to my box, via Ethernet connection.
So yesterday I waited to stop, to much traffic. But this morning I restarted, because of new kernel too, but the netctl profile blatantly failed on me at the first trial. The I got back to the elder style to get things going. But I do believe that it should have a chance to start automatically.
I read the wiki, but no one mention about this kind of lay-out.
Furthermore, I should arrange privoxy to look out this and start after

  • CUCM, VCS-Core and Edge, B2B Calling

I have CUCM ver 9.1(2) and VCS 8.1.1 in my environment, the VCS-C and VCS-E are currently setup to do MRA which is working fine for the vpn-less Jabber.
We also have a number of SX series Telepresence codecs dotted about which are registered to the CUCM and used for internal video conferencing, now the company is wanting the ability for outside video conferencing so need to setup the B2B capability (licencing has been sorted out already for Rich Media Sessions)
I've been ploughing through a number of docs on this, I have not found one yet specifically for CUCM registered devices and VCS doing nothing but firewall traversal, so the guides I've been working from are for enabling CUCM registered devices to talk to VCS registered devices and just taking relevant bits such as Neighbour zones and SIP trunks from it.
Does anyone know of a guide specifically for the direction Cisco appear to want us to go, which is Telepresence devices registered to CUCM and the VCS just doing firewall traversal.
Or a guide on the firewall traversal part only and I can tack it on to my notes from the other adapted guides.
My current notes have the following tasks I think I need to do to get this working
    - setup partition and CSS on the CUCM for Telepresence calls
    - setup SIP trunk on CUCM pointing to Expressway-C (have subnotes on requirments for SIP Trunk Security profile and the SIP Profile)
    - SIP route pattern(s) on the CUCM pointing to the SIP trunk
    - Enterprise parameters on the CUCM such as Cluster FQDN, Organization Top Level Domain and URI Lookup Policy
    - On the VCS-C a neighbour zone pointing to the CUCM
    - Search rule to route inbound calls to CUCM neighbour zone
Is this looking correct so far?  If so then what else will I need to in relation to traversal zones and VCS-E call routing to get calls in and out the business?
    thanks in advance
    Tigre

  • How to set User-field in Plan order

    Hi
could you tell me please how to set a user-filed in plan order. when I run MRP planing, I can write some data in this filed.
    thanks
    henry

    Hi,
Actually these user defind fields are used/assigned in the routing.
Initially u have to define your own user defind profile through OPEC transaction.
Assign this profile in the routing.
So when ur executing Mfg activities, suppose if ur using some high materials like silver...etc.
Then after executing the particular operation some amount of silver chips or silver scrap will generated .
To keep chip/scrap qty operation and date which user defind is used.
Once u have assigned this profile to routing, then it will be automatically copied in the planned order/production order.when ur confirming the order then u have to enter the all related data.
    Regards
    Vijay
