Profit Center Feild In Sales Order Line item

How can i make the Feild Profit Center in the line item level of the sales order to mandatory?
Please help me regardign this

Create a Transaction Variant (T-Code SHD0) and make the field (COBL-PRCTR) mandatory and assign the variant to the order type.

    I need to change the Profit Center at Sales order Line item in Account Assignment Tab. Currently  The Profit center is coming from Material Master for the Line Item's Material as default but I have to change / overwrite  that.
    Can any body provide me how can i achive that means
    Any User exits, substitution or any thing ?
    I tried MV45AFZZ but i am not able to find out the right place where I can change COBL-PRCTR.

    There is perform which moves the values to VBAP field.
    This PRCTR field is stored in VBAP (i.e., SO line item table)
    USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP

  • Profit center substitution in Sales Order item level

    Dear all,
    In Our senario for Sales Order creation time at item level that is material level sale B tab user specified Berth no: in Pricing group field ( KONDA), Based on the Berth no, concern profit center derived  from subtitution rule .That purpose I tried Profit center substitution in that substitution,SAP has given PCB SUB structure in that structure main field has given but KONDA field not available, so please guide me how I update that KONDA field to that stucture (PCB SUB) in Profit center substitution area with ABAPER or
    I have developed a abap enhancement specifing berth no and profit center assignment and excuting the enhancement in sales order exit. Is there any problem for SD process, Our SD consultant using the sales order user exit for other purpose. He is not allowing to use that exit to execute the zdevelopment
    Please suggest me How I update that field into that PCB SUB structure for creation profit center substitution or
    can I use zdevelopment through sales order user exit . without affeting the SD process.

    I have the issue like..
    1.  For each line item of the sales order check, whether the profit center is filled or not, if it is not filled then determine the profit center and populate.
    2. If material of the line item is "sub component code" of a material that is "Offering component code", then compare the profit centers of line item with the profit center maintained for the material that is offering component code.  If the profit centers are different, replace the sales order line item profit center with the profit center of the offering component code material.
    3.  Above activities should happen when the sales order is saved.
    can somebody tell me which user exit ?? where coding can be dine.

  • VA01 Sales order (line items) and different Cost center assignment

    Hello gurus,
    im searching for solutions how to assign different cost center to sales order line items, but only thing that i found is the substitution (Using Substitution (GGB1) to change Cost Center assigned in (OKB9))
    Trying to do this i was unable to create something that could work, since there was no Logistic.
    Could somebody explain me the Line item in SO assignment to Different cost centers?
    I know alot about OKB9, VKOA and other transactions, but still cant find anything suitable to solve this issue

    What i mean is that, on the end of every month we are gathering information for Statistical Key Figures (from Controlling) entering as CO document and then distributing the costs using KSV5 TC on Internal Orders according those entered statistical key figures.
    i.e. we got INCOME 1000000 from 10 internal order, which we distribute on even percentage parts like 10 cost center, each getting 10% of the income.
    I tried to create the SO, but the Profit center field, after i entered a number, was changed automatically into another.
    And the posting didnt reach Controlling and the assigned Cost center. I think it is a lack of configuration.

    I have a requirement where profit center should be derived in sales order on the combination of customer country and plant.
    In standard SAP it can be defaulted at plant level from material master.
    How can this be defaulted on Customer country and shipping plant.

    Dear Neeraj,
    It is possible to achieve this by using Profit Center Substitution in Sales Orders but as per your requirement Customer country is not available in Table fields but wherein Plant is available. Please find the below example process
    The profit center is entered in the material master in the Sales: general/plant view.
    When sales order is created the profit center in the material master will be populated in the sales order line item profit center field, which is present in the account assignment tab. This is the standard SAP behaviour.
    To substitute the profit center, substitution rules have to be created. To define the substitution rules, use transaction 0KEM or the menu path IMG -> Enterprise Controlling -> Profit Center Accounting -> Assignments of Account Assignment Objects to Profit Centers -> Sales Order -> Sales Order Substitutions -> Define Substitution rules. Once in this transaction, click on Substitution icon to create a new substitution rule.
    Enter the code say ZZ01 and description of the substitution rule and click on save.
    Select the new substitution rule i.e. ZZ01 and click on the Step icon. System will give a pop up window in which the second option (profit center) has to be selected. Press enter or click on the green OK icon.
    After pressing enter, another pop up box will be seen. Here, select the first option i.e. constant value and press enter.
    You will be taken to the Step 001 - Overview screen. Enter the description for the Step and then click on Pre-requisites on the left side.
    In the next screen, double click on EC-PCA: Substitution in Sales Order under List of Structures. In the next screen, select the item based on which the substitution has to be done. For eg: Division in item. 
    After you double click on Division in item, you will find the Division in item in the box above. After this click on "=" button which is next to the table fields. You will now find "=" next to Division in item in the box above. 
    Now click on constant button. System will give a pop up box in which enter the division number on which the substitution rule has to be built for eg. Division 10 i.e. whenever the division at item level is equal to 10 the profit center has to be replaced. After entering the value, press enter. After this you will find in the box above Division in itm = '10'. 
    Click on Substitutions on the left hand side. On the right hand side enter the profit center number which has to be populated (i.e. the profit center that has to be substituted with) in the sales order line item if the pre-requisite is met. Check the check box next to profit center also. 
    Click on the save icon. System will give a message save and generation successfully completed. The substitution rule is now created. 
    Now the substitution rule has to be assigned to the relevant controlling area. To do this, use transaction 0KEL or menu path IMG -> Enterprise Controlling -> Profit Center Accounting -> Assignments of Account Assignment Objects to Profit Centers -> Sales Order -> Sales Order Substitutions -> Assign Substitution Rules. To assign the substitution rule to the controlling area click on new entries and enter the controlling area, substitution rule and active status. Appropriate active status can be given as per requirement for eg: 3. 
    When the sales order is created, you can observe that the profit center for the line item is 'YYYY' because the pre-requisite is met i.e. the item division of the material in the line item is 10. This means even though in the material master the profit center is 'XXXX', it has been substituted by 'YYYY' based on the substitution rule logic

    I am looking for a document on configuring sales order line item as a cost object.
    Also by doing this, does this mean it is unnecessary to specify a cost center/profit center in the SO line item, since the costs/profits will be captured in the line item itself?

    We are facing one problem when we are posting miro in one plant profit center is coming in vendor line item in miro. But when we are posting miro with the same material code but with different plant same company code. But in miro vendor line item profit center is not coming.

    Normally vendor line item will not carry profit center, hence I think this is populated through some enhancements.
    Hence you may need to analyze with the help of an Abaper.

  • Third Party GRN Posting Date to be Copied to Sales Order Line item Billing Date

    Hello Experts
    I have a client requirement where in they want to bill line items in the sales order ( third party process ) to the end customer in sync with the GRN posting dates happened in the PO
    For EG if GRN happened on 1st July 2014 then Billing Date should come in as 31st July 2014 so when they execute VF04 giving from and to dates as 1st july to 31st corresponding sales order can be invoiced
    Actual problem is for suppose if i create a sales order in the month of june say 26th basing on the factory calendar setting and invoicing list maintained in the customer master system defaults the billing date to 30th June 2014 , and the same when user runs VF04 from 1st June to 30th June this sales order shows as due and mistakenly end user invoices the customer ( whereas logical GR would have only received in July 1st )
    My requirement is similar to below threads but i am unable to find answer how to copy GR Posting date to Billing Date of the sales order line item

    As my requirement is to update the billing date at the sales order line item level , As a process user goes in executes VF04
    For Ex
    Sales Order Created Date is 1st June 2014 then System Defaults Billing Date at line item to 30th June 2014
    Now when i do GRN suppose on 1st July 2014 for that line item , system should trigger a code where in check the posting date of the GRN and override the same in the Biiling Date field of the sales order line item
    So when VF04 is run for a month All the GRN which are recieved in the month of July are invoiced in July
    Please share me your thoughts do we need to check any userexits from MM side which reads the posting date of GRN and then copies in to my third party sales order

  • Sales order line items delivery cancelled but still appears in MD04.

    In the sales there are 6 line items are there out of which for 1 line item delivery and PGI happened. And for remaining line items delivery got cancelled, but these line items for which delivery cancelled appearing in the MD04, I have rejected the sales order line items but these line items still shows in MD04. Please advise how to remove these line items from MD04.

  • How to upload sales order line items?

    SAPGurus,
    For years my customer service department has been asking for a way to upload sales order line items into the VA01 sales order-entry screen.
    Many of our customers submit PO's with huge amount of line items, up to 1,000 lines. Our CS reps need to key in the data line by line (or copy/paste
    approx 17 lines at once from Excel into the VA01 screen), and we are looking for a way to make this process leaner. One idea we have is that user creates the order header, and then has a way to upload the material numbers and quantities in a separate (newly created Z-transaction) screen in one go.
    Obviously rules then need to be built that deal with the various pop-up messages related to e.g. ATP, material status, etc.
    Does anyone have any experience or thoughts on how we could achieve this? A way to make the sales order-entry process a bit less time-consuming? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated !

    I think it depends on your configuration. But check fields KDAUF and KDPOS in table AUFK.  or in table AFPO.

  • I have a problem regarding sales order line item with confimed quanity

    Hi Experts,
    I have a problem regarding sales order line item with confimed quanity with '0'  with delivery block but confirming the sales order quantity once the order is released from credit check.
    The situation arises as per the below scenarios.
    Scenario - 1 -  When the sales order has two line item - one line item with confirmed qunaity in the schedule line and for the 2nd line item there is no available stock for the Material xxxxxx.
    Initially the sales order is created for the line item 2 with confirmed quantity = 0, and having the delivery block = 01 for the Material xxxxxx  and the order is set with credit check.  Once the order is relased from the credit check.  The quanity for the item 2 where the confirmed quantity will be = 0 ( Where it is not changing the confirmed quantity)
    Scenario -2-  Updating the order qunaity for the line item 2 as (9Pcs) it will goes to credit check and save the order.
    Maintain the stock for the line item 2 ( 5 Pcs).
    Once the order is released from the credit check.  Then  for the line item 2 the confirm quanity will be seting to 5 Pcs with Delivery blcok 01.
    This should not happen, When the credit check is released even though if it has stock based on the delivery blockl it should set the confirmed quanity to Zero.
    Can you please help me how to solve this issue.

    I agree with your point.  In the sales order When the complete delivery check box is enabled where the confimed qty is set to zero, it is fine but when we save the orderr it goes to credit check.  Once we release the order using VKM3 where in the sales order the confimed quantity is setting to 5,  But it should set to Zero quantity.  Quatity should not be get confirmed it should be Zero Quantity. 
    Further in SPRO - customizing in the deliveries blocking reasons - It has a tick mark in the confirmation blcok.  But we dont want to remove the - Confirmation Block tick mark
    Please any one can help me if you have any solution to solve this problem.

    We would like to set-up a substitution rule in order to derive the profit center in the sales order and customer invoice (we don't want the profit center to always be derived from the costing view of the material master data).
    I created a substitution rule with transaction 0KEM and assigned it to the controlling area with active status"3" (Other transactions + cross-company (orders + billing doc.)).
    Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be called when I create a sales order.
    Can you please confirm gthat 0KEM is the transaction to use even when we use New GL without EC-PCA?
    Where should I put a breakpoint in order to trace the call to the substitution rule?

  • Restrict deletion of sales order line items

    Hi,
    I need to restrict deleting of sales order line item, I think we can use the user exit, MV45AFZB, USEREXIT_CHECK_XVBAP_FOR_DELE.
    But when i set the flag to 'X', even though it does not delete at tht instance when the sales order save is clicked again the line item gets deleted.
    ANy idea , to prevent that?

    That is the correct exit, we are using the same without any problem. Just set US_EXIT  = CHARX.
