Program: Adobe Binary - Source: my HD, CS6 Audition stopped and blames Windows?

It was working fine yesterday. Then it would not open and gave notice that the Binary in the program and Source on my HD were a problem. Clicked continue and a pop up stated that the program stopped working.
Got a tech to first help and reinstalled the program I guess because I was asked for the serial number. Once given, it seemed to work but after I shut the program down and then tried to reopen it - well it got worse. Before I could get into it thru Premiere by trying to edit in audition thru a click on the track but couldn't get playback to work.
Another tech lost my confidence by minimizing my security setting to low and then wanted me to set up a new admin. What's going on with this program and I really need to finish an edit job for xmas sales promo.

Really need more specific information at this point. Can you share EXACTLY what messages you see when you launch Audition right now? Tell us precisely what happens (Do you see the splash screen come up? If so, what step does it get to before it gives you an error? What is the specific error message? Amy chance you can take a screenshot?)
Depending on what is happening, we may be able to check the launch log file which may give us more information. On Windows 7/8, this is located by opening Windows Explorer and entering the location: %APPDATA%\Adobe\Audition\5.0\logs\ You can send the “Audition Log.txt” file to [email protected] and I’ll take a closer look at what it says.

InDesign CS6 "has stopped working" on Windows 7.

I just bought a new computer and am in the process of downloading my standard set of programs. I'm testing everything out and InDesign fails to stay open past the new project window. The error just reads the it has stopped working and then windows closes it. I got it to work once or twice as an administrator by right clicking on the launch icon and running it as such. But this doesn't always work. I ran into a similar issue with photoshop and resolved it by changing the cache location under the preferences menu. InDesign doesn't have this setting though so I'm out of luck. Anybody come across the same issue? Windows doesn't give me any more specific error information. I'm not sure what to do at the moment.
Help?

I receive the error Photoshop cs6 has stopped working for windows 7 32 bit

I downloaded and installed cs6 for windows 7 32 bit and cant open it to use,i get the message" adobe photoshop cs6 has stopped working" I have tried different graphics drivers but still the same. My other adobe softaware works fine,IE: elements11 and lightroom4. Any ideas?

Did you receive any error messages during the installation process? You can check your installation log files to look for errors. Premier CS6 Playback stops when on Windows goes to sleep

When playing out a sequence to Kipro in Premier CS6, the playback stops when the Window's Display goes to sleep. I cannot currently change this setting since our IT department controls it. Is there a way to change this in Premier or do I need to have IT give us the ability to change when the Window's display sleeps?

Adobe Illustrator CS6 has stopped working on Windows 7

I've seen a few posts about this and I stall haven't seen it stop or a fix that works.
I use Illustrator any length of time (up and running just a few minutes till up for weeks on end) and as soon as I quit (either by File -> Exit, the X in the corner or Alt -> F4) it closes panels and after a bit pops up that "Adobe Illustrator CS6 has stoppped working. Microsoft is looking for a solution to this problem."
It saves the recently opened files. All settings seem to save as I don't need to reset them. But of course its worrisome.
Note:
Everything has been unisnstalled and reinstalled 3 times.
All permissions have always looked okay.
I have tried running it as Administrator and still have had it happen
Illustrator has been the only program of all the ones installed to have this issue.
Are there any fixes I've missed? I'm a cloud client so have expected a patch for a while now to come out fixing this, as I've updated Illustrator a few times since starting using CS6.

Adobe Acrobat XI (part of CS6 install) stops working

Recently, after a fresh install of Adobe CS (illustrator 64b, photoshop 64b & adobe acrobat XI Pro) on a freshly imaged windows 64bit system, Adobe Photo shopped stopped working.
After reinstalling the above 3 components, photoshop still doesn't open and now the "Text Tool" application has stopped functioning.
Is this indicative of this product?

I understand Mylenium, here is some more informaiton
Hardware is Dell e6530 Latitude with i7 processor, 16GB of memory running Windows 7 64bit OS.
SKU for software installed = Design and Web Prem CS6 6.0 MLP
Software is Adobe Design and Web Premium CS 6.0
Specific applications installed: Illustrator 64Bit, Photoshop 64Bit and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
We were able to use all three applications above with no issues.
One of the features we rely on is the "Text Tool" component in Adobe Illustrator.
Last week for no explainable reason (There were no event codes in any event log - system, application, etc) Adobe Acrobat Professional stopped working (i.e. would not open any pdf documents)
After we re-installed Adobe CS 6.0 (Above applications were chosen) we were unable to open Adobe Acrobat Professional and now the "Text Tool" component in Adobe Illustrator will not work. When it's selected, there is nothing displayed on the Illustrator document to indicate text entry.
I hope this is enough information for someone to provide guidance.

How to skip source transactions when capture is stopped and re-started

Due to a network issue I have stopped streams (capture/prop/apply) between a source-DB and target-DB. After 4 hours the network was back up again. I want to skip the transactions received in source-DB in this 4 hours time. When I re-start steams (capture/prop/apply), it should skip the transactions received in these 4 hours and start fresh capture. How can do that. Any help is much appreciated.

But you did not skip only ONE transaction. You probably skipped several tnx. I told exactly how to skip only one transaction.
Actually, If you want to move current SCN to new one it is better to use incomplete recovery guide (I think you need to recreate propagation process - just check it)

Since the issue can always be caused by incompatible shell extension or driver conflict.
We can first use shellexView to disable non-Microsoft related extensions of Windows Explorer to see what’s going on:
1. Download ShellExView v1.41 from the following link

2. Extract "shexview.zip" file and open shexview.exe. It will scan the registry for all the shell extensions.
3. Select all the non-Microsoft extensions in pink by press "Ctrl" in the keyboard.
4. Click the "Disable Selected Items" on the toolbar and click Yes.
5. Restart your computer and check if the issue is resolved.
If the issue persists, then test the issue in Clean Boot and Safe Mode, and let me know the results.
Meanwhile, please configure Windows to create user-mode dumps. Create a System Restore Point first.
If you copy and paste the following in Notepad and save as a .reg file, then right-click the .reg file and select "Merge" to add to the registry, a .dmp file at the time explorer.exe crashes should be created in the C:\CrashDumps folder:

CS6 Audition Program installation error?

To who it may concern,
I am having trouble installing the CS6 Audition... As soon as I initialize the software for downlaoding it shows an error sign ??? I need this program installed for school.

"Installer Failed to initialize" is a generic error and we need to figure out what is causing the trouble. Most of the time, its an issue with the download that it was not successful or downloaded properly. So, in such cases, download the software again and make sure to compare the file size of the downloaded file with the file on the server. Lets check that in this case as well and make sure the download is complete.
