Program Incompatibility - WacomTablet_6.3.11w3

HI,
I recently bought a wacom tablet: I have windows 8.1, & 64bit OS. The tablet should be compatible with windows 8 however an error message comes up when i try to install/run it( its a software driver application type called "WacomTablet_6.3.11w3(1)"
: this is the error message that comes up--> "windows cannot access the specified device,path or file. you may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item"
I also already tried to run as administrator with the same error message happening as well.
Help please
I dont know what else to try: The program compatibility "test" found that my device is incompatible, however it says that it should work on windows 8. How can I fix this problem?
I tried the software download, and I also tried using the CD which came with the product-- both lead to the same error message

actually I want to help you by asking tablet model, but since the information and my knowledge regarding this product is limited, I suggest contact manufactured

this is the place when you can download the latest update driver based on model that you are using, maybe you download the wrong files, because based on result from program compatibility test that specific driver is incompatible

did you connect to office environment? try to install without connect to any network
try to disable firewall and antivirus if any
try also if you can open this files at safe mode
did you try to Install with Windows 8 or any different OS before?

FNDLOAD CONCURRENT PROGRAM INCOMPATABILITY NOT DELETED

We have tight control on migrating object changes from one environment to another. We have to use FNDLOAD for migrating the Concurrent Program changes using FNDLOAD. We have concurrent program with 3+ incompatible programs, due to business requirement, we need to update the concurrent program definition to just have one incompatibility. We update the change in Development environment with just one incompatible program in it definition and trying to migrate to other environment. The FNDLOAD is not deleting the incompatible list even after using the CUSTOM_MODE=FORCE.

We have concurrent program with 3+ incompatible programs, due to business requirement, we need to update the concurrent program definition to just have one incompatibility.Do you mean it is already defined in the target instance and you want to update the definition of this concurrent program using FNDLOAD? If yes, have you tried to use "UPLOAD_MODE=REPLACE" option?
If this still does not help, then I believe you have to do it manually from the application by deleting the other two incompatibilities.

Statement Generation Program- Incompatability

Hi,
We are trying to find out if the 'Statement Generation Program' can be run simultaneously for more than a customer within a operating unit. Are we expecting to see any issues in terms of the performance or the output if we have the program run simultaneously. Would appreciate any quick response.

I have upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 tried to install Firefox from your website latest version, installed ok but will not run, inpompatability check said this program was incompatible with Windows 7 !!!!

How to downgrade from windows 8.1 to windows 7 professional on Envy 700-329

I am fed up with the problems resulting from Windows 8.1, eg program incompatibility, Slow/no response in browsers, especially IE 11, forced to use touch-screen style interface on conventional monitor and so on and so on. I have a Windows 7 Professional 64 bit licence for my Dell Vostro laptop. Can I use it on my HP Envy 700-329 desktop to replace Windows 8.1?

You're very welcome.
Only Pro versions of Windows are eligible for downgrade rights to the older versions of windows.
And the downgrade has to be performed by the PC manufacturer.
In other words, your PC would have a W8.1 Pro license, but W7 Pro would be preinstalled on it at the time of manufacture.
So you cannot purchase a downgrade license per se.
You will have to purchase a full retail or full OEM version of Windows 7 64 bit.
The difference between retail and OEM is that the retail version can be transferred to another PC as many times as you want provided it is used on one PC at a time, and as you read, the OEM version cannot.
The retail version of Windows cost about double the OEM version of Windows from what I recall.

Adobe Media Encoder CS4 Crashing Immediately

I am running the CS4 Production Premium suite on a Windows 7 64-bit computer with 12GB RAM. Up til last week, the whole Adobe suite had been running smoothly. (I primarily use Premiere, Media Encoder, Photoshop, and Encore). However, Encore started locking up the computer any time I tried to work on authoring a Blu-ray (it locked up immediately upon opening a Blu-ray project, and only locked up on a new project when I switched from DVD to Blu-ray mode).
I assumed that some of Encore's source code had either been moved, overwritten by something else, or that there was possibly a program incompatibility with something else on my computer. So I took the step to uninstall and reinstall Encore from the install DVDs.
Upon a "successful" reinstallation, I then went into Premiere CS4 to encode a timeline to a P2 file. Premiere seemed to be doing its normal exporting process fine, but Media Encoder would crash after the red splash screen disappeared. To be more explicit, the red splash screen would disappear and be replaced by a window the normal size of the Encoder program, but nothing appeared on screen in the window other than a small white box in the upper left with the rest just being plain gray (see attached photo). At the same time this white window appeared, Win 7 popped up a box saying that Adobe Media Encoder has stopped working and that it would search for a solution to the problem, which it never could do.
I then tried deactivating the suite, uninstalling the full suite and reinstalling, updating so the patches would bring it up to date, and then tried running Adobe Media Encoder again, this time running from the Start menu rather than from Premiere. Yet, it was still the same response: the program crashes immediately.
I would appreciate any suggestions and help that people can provide.

Creative MediaSource 5 and Roxio Creator 2009 Incompatabilit

Hi,
I would just like to bring to your attention what appears to be a program incompatability between one of the Roxio 2009 Creator Suite applications and Creai've MediaSource 5.
When the end-user installs the suite, and updates, and reboots, if the user were then to launch Creative MediaSource 5, it will launch the Windows Installer and begin configuring CinePlayer and ask for the install media.
This will happen everytime the application is launched.
If you require any further information for diagnostics purposes, please let me know.

I?have both?Roxio Creator Suite 2009 ultimate version ..0 build B0E and Mediasource 5.20.23 on my PC (XP SP3) and do not observe that. Mediasource organiser or player open normally, no windows installer launch. Roxio Cineplayer works normally, as do all other parts of the suite.
However, I have not (yet) had?any updates to creator 2009 offered, so maybe that update you mention?is what causes the problem in your case. On the Roxio boards, some report getting offered an update, others not. You could check out there, see if anyone has similar problem, or post there.

BIG Issue with SAFARI

Hello, I have a Toshiba laptop with Windows Vista and I decided to download apple safari web browser but I am having a big issue, every time I open Safari it pop up a window saying ''Safari has stopped working, windows will find a solution for the problem'' but it never finds any solution. please help!

If this question is pertaining to Vista not finding a solution to the problem then it probably will not, if it did it would provide you with a link to the Apple site for an updated version of the software.
Since this is a beta software there will probably not be a solution found for the following reasons...
1. Safari is still in BETA stage for testing purposes.
2. Microsoft is not going to issue a patch.
3. Final solutions to program incompatibility, system settings, setup, and issues with components have not been finalized. This cannot be documented with final instructions on how to fix the issue or update to the next version since an official version has not been released.
4. Current support for Safari BETA for Windows is currently given in this forum until that day arrives. Given a thorough look and search of the forums will render several resolutions for your possible issue, being that it could actually be several. Like many of us have done, we have found solutions. links, and ways to get the browser running on systems such as Windows XP Professional, SP2, Vista, and Vista SP1.
5. If you are having a problem with Vista, I would look to Microsoft Support for the answer. Many really good resources there as I have been there quite a few times and did not even have to make a post to find a solution for my XP system, which did the same thing to me when installing and trying to run version 3.0.4 of the program.
Search the forum thread for 'Safari crashes', there were three threads I posted in and in which I have found the solution to my issue by reading and following the problem as it developed...

TechTool Pro 4.5.3 NOT compatible

I had the latest version of Micromat's TechTool Pro installed on my MacPro with OSX10.4.10. I just upgraded my system to 10.5 and got an error message while trying to start TechTool. This is the first program incompatibility I have run accross. Micromat's website has no information about Leopard.

not many programs like tech tool pro will work, my guess is because there are different locations of system files.

You can't transfer an OEM license from a PC that it was originally license for use.

Since upgrading to Lion my MacBook Pro freezes randomly

Since I upgraded my MacBook Pro (shipped last October) to Lion, it randomly freezes.
It lasts roughly 4-5 minutes where I cannot do anything. The only running apps are Google Chrome, Skype and Twitter. All are a their latest version.
Anyone having the same issue ? Any hint ?

Then backup your files to a external drive and disconnect.
Reboot holding command + r keys and enter the Recovery Partition and see if you can reinstall 10.7 over the installed version.
You might have some third party program incompatibility issue if this doesn't resolve it.

Shell Script - Sleep

Hello All,
We are printing pdf file outputs from shell script. Here we faced a problem that the shell script tried to access the output file(pdf file) while the concurrent program is running. For that we added the concurrent program names into shell script programs incompatibility list. This is working fine.
But there are more than 20 reports using the same shell script. If all the programs are running shell script waits until all the 20 programs completed.
I am thinking of another solution that, I have to issue a sleep command in shell script until the program completes, or until the output file is generated and the shell script can generate post script file from the output file.
I dont know what kind of lock the concurrent program is using, because shell script says no such file or directory while generating post script file.
Kindly help.

You would probably find more concurrent manager experts in the Apps forums. You could try using the output of ps -ef to see if the program your script should wait for is still running. Or you can use the lsof command to see if the file you are supposed to process is still open in another process. For example, lsof -f -- /output/my.pdf shows all processes that have the file /output/my.pdf open.

I am having problems with my Elements 12 program "freezing". I am not sure if it is an incompatibility with my operating system or my inexperience.

It has frozen once or twice during the uploading process. My bigger concern is when I am trying to follow tutorials and the program seems to freeze and does not execute the task. This has happened several times when I attempt to use the brushes or other tools. I am using a Mac Trackpad. I don't know if the problem is originating in this step, possibly, I am not using the trackpad correctly or if another problem exists. For instance, when I attempt to the brushes I get a "star" to paint my picture vs the round circle that the tutorials are showing.
I am using an older Mac computer; however, we did update the software prior to installing the Adobe Elements program.
Any guidance would be appreciated. I am also wondering if there are any Adobe Photoshop tutors available.

I can't update to newest version due to the incompatability with AVG, my security software program. Must I use I.E. instead?

The newest version came with info that it is incompatible with AVG.
If I have to choose between Firefox and AVG then I am forced to choose AVG, obviously.

Step 1. Make sure your Norton product has the Firefox 8 compatible patch by running LiveUpdate and rebooting until there are no more patches available on LiveUpdate.
I have run LiveUpdate and it says everything is OK...no more updates needed. But I have no way of knowing if the Firefox 8 compatible patch is present. And when I try to upgrade to Firefox 8 I always get the same message that those two add-0ns are not compatible with Firefox 8....so what do I do now???

Picasa corrupts IPTC, Photoshop Program Error when saving

I am having a problem editing some JPGs in Photoshop. Some JPGs will open fine, but I can't save them. I get the error that Photoshop can not continue because of a program error (very generic error if ever there was one). After several hours researching, I've come to the conclusion that some IPTC data is "corrupt" (actually, "problematic" is probably a better word). Experimenting with some different files, I've figured out the common attribute amongst the files that won't save: I adjusted the date and time on them usng Google Picasa.
How do I fix this?
Note: reinstalling Photoshop, deleting preferences, rebooting, etc... are not valid suggestions (also, I've already tried all that). There is no problem with my system, it's definitely some type of incompatability between Picasa and Photoshop. In the future, I won't use Picasa to modify meta data, but for now, I have photos from 2 separate trips that I'd like to edit and can't.

I'm using CS4. The problem occurs in both 64 bit and 32 bit versions of the software. In addition to being unable to save, I am also unable to open up the File Info dialog box. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 bit on a quad core with 4 GB of RAM. I have plenty of free harddrive space. I have the Production Premium CS4 suite installed and no other Adobe software installed (well, other than Acrobat Reader and Flash Player).

Hi Paul. I noticed this in the documentation for exiftools, which I suspect maybe related to the problem:
Commonly, in JPEG images, the DateTimeOriginal, CreateDate and
ModifyDate values must all be changed. For convenience, a shortcut tag
called AllDates has been defined to represent these three tags.
So I ran the following command:
exiftool "-AllDates-=0:0:0 0:0:1" *.jpg
But all that did was shift all the dates by 1 second, the various fields still don't match. Do you know the syntax to update all the date fields to match? Right now according to Picasa the "Camera Date" and "File Date" match and are correct, "Digitized Date" and "Modified Date" are off by an hour.
