  • New to B2B - Need assistance for Starting programing in B2B

    Hi,
I'm New to B2B. Anybody have links how to start programming in B2B. Prerequisites and how to download them. Currently im able to open b2bconsole.
I need how to start programming. Any links plz...

Oracle B2B is not a programming language or a programming based tool. It's a configuration based tool. All the standards have been already implemented as part of the product. You need to just configure it as per your need and you will be good to go.
Please refer B2B user guide for detailed information about the product and it's offerings -

  • B2B, multiple customers, and 'similar apps' limitations?

    Hey Folks,
I have an app that is currently distributed via the B2B store. We have another customer coming online and we also want to distribute to them via the B2B store. There are a couple of concerns though. First, the two seperate companies will have different connection settings and different branding. Second, the iOS app has server dependencies, so a client can not upgrade until their company's server is upgraded. And both customers have different testing cycles and lead times. So having a single B2B app isn't going to fit our needs well.
In the past we have worked around the issue for testing by working with our first customer directly. They have an IT staff and enrolled in the Enterprise program, so we can send them the code base and they can build and distribute it to their testing team. Our next company (and likely many of the others to follow) don't have nearly as robust IT staffs and won't be able to manage building and distributing the app internally.
Our thought then, was to create 2 seperate B2B apps for each customer. So we could publish a test version (tied to the server/version of their testing environment) and a production version. This gives us complete control over when each customer takes a new version of the iOS application into testing or production. It gives us the ability to ensure that their servers are on the correct version and that the environments are good to go. Along with managing the branding and other customer-specific aspects of the application.
The concern though, is that with even just a pair of customers, we will have 4 copies of our application that are almost identical. Will this run afoul of the 'similar apps' rule? Is there another option? Are there better ways? Anyone else run into something like this before?
    Thanks,
    -Rick

  • IC CRM 7.0: Obtain confirmed partners in external programs

    Hello,
we're using the IC in CRM 7.0. After searching for partners, you can confirm the partners to be taken for all further actions.
Is there a way to access the currently confirmed partners from "outside", e.g. in a BADI that is called during the creation of a transaction? The thing is we'd like to influence the behaviour of some business processes depending on the current partners which cannot be fulfilled by SAP standard.
So, I'd look for something like this (I know that this module doesn't exist):
    CALL FUNCTION 'CRM_IC_UIU_CONFIRMED_PARTNERS'
      IMPORTING
        partners = lt_partners.
Where lt_partners contain the BP number of the current confirmed account and contact person (B2B).
As mentioned before, the call should be available even outside the web UI logic (means, not to be maintained in BSP_WD_CMPWB), e.g. BADIs, programs.
I've found these threads, however, they didn't solve my issue:
    Re: Get Account ID ICWC
    Obtain partner id...
    Thanks & regards
    Wolfgang

    Hi Wolfgang,
You can access the confirmed business partner in the BDC which one of the links shows you how.
If you want to do it within a badi then use the partners existing from the partner determination of the transaction.
Of course if you want to influence them before the creation then you will have to do this at the UI level.
Don't forget you have the partner function to business transaction config in the IMG under the IC webclient.
    Cheers
    Andrew

  • Automatic assigning of products to catalog in ERP E-Commerce 5.0 B2B

    Hi Everyone,
We have lots of products (aprox 25000), which we want to  assign to catalog. We have decided to take a 2 step approach.
    A) create/desin a Ztable which represent the Tree structure of catalog layout design and then create a program to insert all the products into the Ztable.
    B) Use the ISA catalog Replication badi, copy the standard class CL_ISA_REPLICATION_CATALOG as Z and use the methods of this class to read our Ztable to assign and replicate the products to the respective layout areas.
Something like this approach we have used in CRM b2B implementation, but there the replication process was different program.
Can someone share his/her experience  on this replication BADI and class ?
    Thanks in Advace,
    Dips

    Hi Martin,
This is a very common requirement. Normally when there are thousands of products which needs to be assigned in catalog. Then the process is to just define the catalog. Then design a logic which would tell you, at what level( Catalog area/node) your product should go when replication happens.
In such a scenerio you will not see any products attached in catalog, but all the products will straightaway get assigned to catalog in TREX by means of replication.
Also the tables and tcode which you mentioned are for CRM. My Scenerio is ERP E-Commerce.
    Thanks and regards,
    Dipender Singh

  • Using B2B for sending PAYMUL files in EDIFACT format

    Hi B2B Gurus,
One of our client has the following requirement.
    1) Create Payment batches in Oracle AP and Format the payments using an EDI format program.
    2) Translate the EDI format file into PAYMUL EDIFACT format.
    3) Send the PAYMUL file across to the bank and receive the acknowledgments.
At the moment our client uses the services of a third party vendor to take care of the EDI translation, document management and transportation
    features.
Would it be possible to achieve the above requirement using Oracle B2B Integration + Adapters?
If yes, would request you to provide me with the Adapters we need to buy (license required) and also the components that would be required to achieve the above functionality.
    Thanks and Regards,

    Edited by: user5546779 on Feb 9, 2010 11:05 PM

    Hi,
Oracle B2B can translate the EDI XML to native EDI format and vice-versa. It has support for both the flavours of EDI - EDIFACT and X12. It has the support for almost all the transport protocols as well. Moreover, for any customization, there is facility of java callouts as well.
Would it be possible to achieve the above requirement using Oracle B2B Integration + Adapters? From the high level requirement you posted, I can say that it is very much possible to achieve this using Oracle Integration B2B product only.
If yes, would request you to provide me with the Adapters we need to buy (license required) and also the components that would be required to achieve the above functionality. Now this will vary as per your network design, solution design and detailed requirements but at high level you need to buy only Oracle B2B. First of all you should decide the scope and requirements and then go for estimation. After that decide whether you may go with 10g version or you need 11g (as it has various supports which are not there in 10g).

  • B2B requirement

    Hi,
I have the following requirement in a B2B process.
Purchase Orders are coming from 3rd party system to ECC through IDoc (type ORDERS05) and creating Sales Order. Whenever an Orderchage is coming, I have to check whether some fields (which are maintained in a custom config table) value are changed. If yes, I have to stop processing of this IDoc and stage it for review. (IDoc's will be picked up for review through another program). eg: VBAP-Qty field may be maintained in the custom table, so I have to check the Qty in the Purchase Order change IDoc. I am facing issue here to compare the fields becuase the fields in Purchase Order and Sales Order are different. Could anyone please let me know how to achieve this???
I cannot do this comparison inside standard inbound function module IDOC_INPUT_ORDCHG becuase I need this as a re-usable function.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi
I guess it's better to post such questions within the SAP ERP SD Sales or SAP ERP - Logistics Materials Management (SAP MM) community.
    Kind regards,

  • Sort Sequence for Product Catalogue ISA B2B

    Hi there
I'm trying to find another way of sorting items within a catalogue area. As it is in the standard system , the products are simply sorted according to the Product number (acceding).
The requirement is to be able to rearrange the sequence according to alternate means such as product description. So that when it comes to browsing the product catalogue in the web shop the specific sort sequence is reflected.
    we are using CRM4.0 E-Selling B2B
    thanks in advance

    Thanks for the responce,
No, we use Both Manual and Automatic too.
In this program can you re-import or is that only used for first time uploads ?
secondly does the sequence of products, within a catalogue area remain as it is in your spread sheet after the upload, or does it revert back to the accending oprder of the product numbers ?
    thanks

  • SAP BC 4.8: com.wm.app.b2b.server.ServiceException: No IDoc found in input.

    Dear all,
we have migrated from BC 4.7 to 4.8 with CoreFix 3 and all is working fine.
But now we want to create status reports when Idocs were sent from SAP System (ECC 6.0) to an http URL.
In the testphase there is a little program running in the background named "perlserver.exe" that listens on port 4242 an only shows the results on screen like e.g. the XML file.
When I send an Idoc, e.g. MATMAS03 to SAP BC, I get the following messages in BC error log:
    - com.wm.app.b2b.server.ServiceException: No IDoc found in input, neither iDocList nor the IDoc tables
    and

The reports are created and sent to SAP system with idoc status 11 - com.wm.app.b2b.server.ServiceException: No IDoc found in input, neither iDocList nor the IDoc tables.
    What can I do?
Have anyone an idea or better a solution?
    Many thanks in advance.

    Hi Lu,
Yes that note was for SPA BC 4.7. I though it could provide you with some more insight.
Anyway, can you recheck whether the settings which you have done for IDoc in SAP BC. There might be some problem with them.
Also check this thread, it might be helpful (but i am not sure)

  • RFC in B2B

    Hi,
i am kind of a newbie and i am trying to connect an external system to th XI.
Its an 4.6c System so i can't use Proxies instead i use RFC.
I am a little confused how to configure the R/3 System and the XI-System.
    R/3:
so far i understand that u need...
    - a RFC-Destination type 3
    - a RFC-Destination (RFC_Adapter) of type T with a registered Sever Progamm identified via Programm ID. But whats this Programm ID, is it just an identifier i specify in the Integration Directory? Or is it a real Program?
    - a RFC-Destination of type L as a Reference to the RFC_Adapter-Destination
...so far i read in the documentation!!
Everything mentioned i have to configure in the R/3-System because its the sender-system - RIGHT?
Some other questions in my mind:
What do i have to configure in the Integration Engine? Another RFC-Destination?
Do i need to put the external-system in the SLD - i think NO because its a B2B-Scenario and i don't know the external system-landscape!
What to configure in the Integration Directory because its a B2B-Szenario, do i need a Business-Service?! How to configure a Business-Service?
I would appreciate ur help, thx!!

    For RFC Sender:
    1. In Tx SM59 of R/3 (or any other ABAP based SAP system) which will execute the RFC, create a RFC Destination of Type T (TCP/IP), giving a program ID and gateway host and port of the RFC Server (usually sapgwxx, where xx is System Number).
Usually you may use RFC Server info = R/3 system info, but when you have load balance you must make sure to use the info of the central system (dispatcher) which will do the balance.
    2. In XI, create the Sender RFC adapter on the proper Business System (or Business Service, in case of B2B). For RFC Server, enter the same info you provided in RFC Destination: gateway host, gateway port and Program ID. For RFC Metadata Repository, enter the info of the R/3 system as you would enter in SAP Logon.
After activating the adapter, the connection will be done and you can perform connection test of that RFC Destination on SM59.
Just remember that in your ABAP program, you will call RFC Destination through its name, not Program ID. The Program ID is just a reference ID between the two systems which are connected through RFC Server (R/3 and XI).
    Regards,
    Henrique.
