Programming LG Revere Email Program

Does anyone know if the LG Revere can be programmed so the email messages do not automatically come to the phone unless I try and retrieve them?

Hello jack1953, I can answer your question about the email capabilities of your device. This feature is not available on your current device. You will need a Smartphone to have this as a email option. Have a great day!

How can I stop my Firefox browser from preventing Click Earner, a program that opens email ads on safelists, from opening the URL's in the email ads?

Hello fellow-users of Mozilla Firefox,
I send email ads using 20 different safelists every day. To get credits for sending those ads I click email ads sent by other subscribers.
Since early this year I've been using Click Earner -- http://www.clickearner.net/ -- to help speed up this task. Click Earner "fetched"
the emails from each safelist and opened each URL advertised in each email. This was a very quick job and all I did was close each tab
displaying the URL. Credits for clicking the URL were added to my safelists accounts.
Since a week ago, without me doing anything at all, my Click Earner stopped opening the emails automatically as was the case for
several months since I started using it. Click Earner support claimed Firefox prevented the program from opening the URL in a new tab each time it fetched an email ad. True enough, yesterday when I watched Click Earner in action I saw a pop-up from Firefox saying something like "Firefox prevented..." I couldn't read the rest as the pop-up disappeared immediately. And that was the only
time I saw it.
Right now I have to open each URL manually to see the ad and earn credits. This is a very slow process, just the same as when I open the emails in my gmail account. It's useless for me to subscribe to Click Earner. And it takes forever for me to earn credits from all the safelists.
I'd appreciate it very much if any one of you folks would help me overcome this glitch. I look forward to hearing from you and thank you very much in anticipation.

You could try turning off Firefox's pop-up blocker.
"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Content
There you will find a checkbox for "Block pop-up windows". Assuming it's checked, uncheck it.
Does that return to the behavior you want?

Try closing the Mail app completely and see if it works properly when you re-open the app : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Mail app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

For no apparent reason, my email will not autofill addresses. I have no problem on IE, Chrome or Opera. This problem just started with firefox within the last 24 hours. My mail server is AT&T/Yahoo, and I use webmail - not a mail program.

Sending an email from within a program

Hi,
I am using SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 to send an email from a program. Everything works fine, but the users don't want to see the popup message titled 'SAPconnect Send Process - List of Sent Objects'.
Is there anyway I can supress this message from the program, or is it a setting in SAPconnect?

If your are calling RSCONN01 after your function module then remove the submit of RSCONN01. This program will run scheduled every 1 to 5 minutes anyway as background job by the basis .

To add the BCC field to the message window, create a new message, click the 'three lines' button near the to and from fields & select the 'BCC Address field' or choose the 'customise' option. This button may be a 'gear' on the older OS (I don't recall for 10.6.8 Mail).
The BCC field is more likely to be limited by the email server than Mail app. If you add hundreds of addresses (or use large groups with many addresses) the email server may assume you are sending spam. Sometimes it causes the server to drop the message or bounce them, different providers also have different rules, so you need to use bcc & ccc with care.
If you plan on doing mass mailing you would be better with a service that handles it correctly for you (i.e. sends multiple messages without using ccc or bcc).

I'm not sure what's confusing you. Just generate a String (using a StringBuffer)
with the data you need and use it as the content of the mail message. If each
recipient needs different content, they'll each need a different MimeMessage
object.

My computer is not accepting Mozilla firefox as my chosen default program any more so when I click on start menu or on the icon on my desktop I get blank then goes to my home page for Yahoo email?

I've tried to restore Mozilla as my default webb browser but it wont accept my choice, very confusing. It goes to a blank screen then my yahoo mail and when I want to brose the webb and then close down the start menu will only show if I use the control and escape buttons on my keyboard. Please help me anyone!

I'm not clear on where you are seeing that text. When I view Google's cached page from the page found in this search

This bursting program will work on customer(Sales Order) bill to site email address that is defined for that customer of our Sales order report.
NOW the requirement is, if email address is NULL then the Bursting program should end in warning.(For parameters Sales order number from:33 to:33, if email id is null, then Bursting program is ending in Error. But if I give a parameter range sales order num from 33 to 35 and if only 33 so customer has email id, then program is completing in Normal.
I want it to end in WARNING)
Please help

Some possible workaround would be
- add filter to your bursting control file to just process records with email address
- or make the change on the calling program to invoke bursting only for records with email address
- or make too much effort catching the exact error message and force-changing the concurrent job completion status on the fly :|

How can I make a migration copy of my email addresses for use in another program.

It is necessary to make a migration copy of all our email addresses for transfer to windows express.
Our office overseas can not use Thunderbird & needs all our email addresses stored in Thunderbird copied for migration into their windows express program. How can this be achieved.?
I think we may also need to transfer email copies too, can this be done.?
If so, how.?

Ok I have googled, I have found a windows cleaning company in Switzerland http://www.windowsexpress.org/About-Us.htmland something called Parallels Desktop for Mac with instructions for installing windows on a mac.
So I think we need to go back to the beginning with "What is Windows express?"
Email programs as a general rule do not "export" their contents into another mail clients formats. The normal procedure is to "import" the foreign format so there are some obvious questions
What formats can this mail software import?
Are your existing mail accounts IMAP or pop?
you can export email addresses from Thunderbird as CSV which almost all programs can read (including spreadsheets) From the address book select the Tools menu (Alt+ T) and select the export option

How can I set Entourage as default program to email pictures from Preview?

I'm a PC-to-Mac convert and am really enjoying my iMac, except for a few little nuisances. Here's one:
I have set Entourage as my default email program, both in (Mac) Mail and in Entourage. Everything works smoothly when clicking on an email link on a web page, or sending from iPhoto or from individual, open documents. But when I try to mail an image or a Photo Booth picture from Finder>Preview>File>Mail Image, it always opens Mail and not Entourage.
There must be a way to set the default email program in Finder and/or Preview, but I sure can't find it and Apple support wasn't able to help much either. My experience is that users often know more than the experts, who are expected to know a little about a lot of varied topics. I've searched on this forum but can't find any reference to this exact situation. Any ideas? Anyone? Thanks!

Peter: Of course, I can do what you suggested, and am. But, nothing irks me more than to have a slick, time-saving option like that but not being able to use it! Mac, in this instance, is acting a little like Microsoft in forcing me to use their programs exclusively!
