Programs disappeared

My camera and siri have completely disappeared from my iphone 4s. Any ideas on how to get it back? I have already tried restoring it, I have already tried pushing the on/off button and the front botton at the same time.

Are restrictions enabled?
Is there an Exchange account configured on the device? These can sometimes block certain features of the device depending on the policies on the Exchange server.
Are you able to find the camera app if you search for it?
Is Siri Enabled in Settings?
And finally... basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Has any of this been tried?

Changes made in a Custom Program disappears after save.

I made some changes to a report program.
But the changes has been disappears after saving the report.
This is really strange thing I come across.

Have you compiled and activate the program.
Maybe you're working with a different version. Look at version management.

Built-in Calc program disappeared

not sure what I did, but the "Calc" program on my Centro has disappeared! I had switched it to "scientific" mode by hitting "right" (on the 5-way button), now there's a "ScientificCalc" program which won't start up because of an error. Any ideas how to restore the original Calc program (without doing a hard reset, which is a pain)?

Have you checked to see if "All" is showing in the top right corner?
I can select several other categories that do not show the Calculator...
If indeed you've picked All, and your Calc has disappeared, it's time to Hard Reset your device to start over and bring it back. Be sure you've done a HotSync before doing this, as all your Data will be erased!

IPad default program disappear!!!

Title showed my problem.
I was trying to install Pages but failed.
And now all the default program include Email, Safari, Settings, App Store, Calendar etc all disappear once I restart my iPad!!!
But all the apps I downloaded before still there, what's going on??
My iPad is iPad 1, IOS3.1
Help me please!!!

I responded to your original post but I suppose that you read it because you tried what I suggested.
Have you tried restoring from a backup - an older backup that you might still have? You would lose current data and settings if you do. I'm not sure what else to try.

Start menu all programs disappeared

The all programs selection in the start menu disappeared in build 10041. How come?

All Apps disappeared. That is why I have a problem.

Is the Start Screen expanded ?
If yes, UN-expand it. It could be that the transparency feature has obscured the "All apps" option.
Could it be that you have a small screen that you need to use the scrollbar to see everything ?

Migrated with time machine. Had all programs, photos, music, etc. Today all photos, music and some programs disappeared. updated with the new software fix. Can I do the migration from time machine again?

I migrated from old machine with Leopard to new machine with Lion. After migration, I had all photos, music, applications, etc. This morning there is no music, no photos and missing programs. I have now downloaded the fix they put out yesterday. Can I simply redo a new migration from Time Machine to get those things back?

If you used Migration Assistant what has probably occurred is it created another user account. Log out of your current account and see if there is another account, if so log into that one and see if your information is there.

Creative Suite CS6 Programs disappear after opening

I deleted everything with CS6 and reinstalled it. It seems to install fine, but when I open any program it opens then shuts down automatically within seconds. What am I doing wrong??

resetting preferences (usually by holding down ctrl-shift-alt while an adobe app starts), you should see a confimation dialog.

I'm not sure what the context of your question is but sometimes I have a similar problem where when I run my forms object it appears for a second and shuts down. I get around this by carrying out a full compile and then the forms object behaves correctly.

Disappear programs of my kmenuedit

After that I installed new glibc, disappear of my kdemenu a lot of programs like openoffice, gimp, inkscape, firefox, pidgin etc. I use KDE.
It possible recover all of programs lost in menu by replace the file with new configs by file with older configs?

No, these are pics that are in my Pictures folder (like the documents or downloads folders) on my MacBook. Photos that I have download out of emails, facebook and some from my iPhone. Some of the pictures have been on my MacBook for 2-3 yrs. I will look for a pic that I know I have in my Pictures folder and it is no where to be found. I have several different subfolders in my Picture folder and when I click on a certain subfolder to look for a pic that was in there the folder might only have 5-10 photos left in it or will be empty. I had a subfolder for 2013 pics and there might only be 30 pics from the hundred++ I know were there. I just don't get it. Thank you.

Windows 7 (64bit) Missing programs in uninstall a program list.

My grandson likes to play internet games and downloads quite a number of them from time to time, and as usual, it leaves me uninstalling quite a lot of add-ons and other types of unwanted files. Toolbars, vius protections, etc. You name it...and it's been unloaded by yours truly.
I had stopped this for the longest time, but allowed him to download one more "Wizards 101" a couple of days back, and our pc has been acting super slow, freezing up etc...ever since.
So I just finished deleting several unwanted files in the "uninstall programs" department, and once it was completed, I had to change to another account momentarliy.... but when I returned, I checked it again to make sure everything was ok, I found only 14 programs listed.
The normal list is always qutie long (a full page scroll down) and list nearly every important program I have.
I have check every other account I have and it is the same on everyone.
I was very careful to uninstall nothing but the juck files and so I have absolutely no clue as to what is happening here. All my programs appears to be working ok, so far anyway, except for the missing info in uninstall programs list.
I have ran full system virus scans (seven tracking cookies only) and tried every usual method of maintinace I know.
This has me stumpped. If anyone knows a thing or two about this kind of problem, I'd appreciate some advice.
And would also appreciate some advice to my grandson who will read this as well. He and I are always at odds about the dangers of downloading internet games and he just might believe someone else beside his grandpa. (lol)
Any advice will be truly appreciated.

You are absolutely correct about the dangers of downloading games and any other programs from the Internet. In fact, I have discontinued downloading any FREE programs. If I do, however, I use the Custom Install option. This allows me to check to see if any unwanted programs are being added to my computer without my knowledge. This happens all of the time.
Now, for advice for you, Grandpa. You can setup an account for your grandson. This will allow you to set Parental Controls to keep certain types of programs from being added to your computer: Control Panel / User Accounts / Manage another account / Set up Parental Controls. Also, you can protect your account by adding a Password. Just make certain that you write it down somewhere so you can remember it. It will be embarrassing when you have to tell grandson that you forgot your password established to keep him out of your business.
It sounds to me like you may have inadvertently selected some programs and deleted them. I can't think of any way to make programs disappear from the "Uninstall or change a program", otherwise. You will have to reinstall any missing program.

HT204291 Apple tv disappears using new iPad

I am watching a program on TV using AirPlay AppleTv with mirroring on. Suddenly the program disappears.
1. On the iPad, Airplay Apple TV mirroring has switched itself off.
2. Even when I put it back on again, it goes off again shortly afterwards. Also the mirroring doesn't come back on to the tv screen.
Any ideas? I wondered if it might be something to do with poor broadband connections? I have just got both the iPad and the Apple tv so I'm not all that knowledgeable.

Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
You can download and install iStumbler (NetStumbler for windows users) to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel or adjusting your multicast rate.
There are other types of problems that can affect networks, but this is by far the most common, hence worth mentioning first. Networks that have inherent issues can be seen to work differently with different versions of the same software. You might also try moving the Apple TV away from other electrical equipment.

Disappearing Images within Dreamweaver

I had this problem with MX 2004 and I thought Dreamweaver 8
would fix it but apparently not. After working in Dreamweaver for a
little while all the images within the program disappear. This
includes the icons in the insert window and all other icons within
the program. The images that are displayed in design view while I
am working also disappear. The only way to get the images back is
to restart dreamweaver. Sometimes I have to quit Dreamweaver and
restart as much as every 5 minutes. I don't think it's a memory
issue because I have a dual processor G5 with 2 GB of ram.
Any ideas?

Oh, I forgot to mention--I have installed all the updates for
Dreamweaver 8..

Program name starting with " ! "

Hi ABAPers !
For some unknown reasons, while working on the development of a custom program called "ZVER0221_V2", at some point in my development, the Workbench stared asking me ( almost everytime I save a program and/or and include related to this main program ) to select to which main program the object I'm about to save in linked to. The option it gives me are:
!VER0221_V2
ZVER0221_V2
I don't understand why its asking me that... where this !VER0221_V2 is coming from ??&**?
I'm able to display this !VER0221_V2 program and it shows itself as "active". When I try to edit it, I get the following message:
No TADIR entry found for ABAP !VER0221_V2
Can anyone tell me where this program might come from and how can I get rid of it... !!!

this may be a bit late for the original post, but as I did not find a solution on SCN, I thought, I'd share mine (I also had a "!"-program, that did not disappear after activation):
- Change the program and save to create an inactive version.
- Run this inactive version.
- After the next activation, the mysterious "!"-program disappeared.
