Programs Installed During Creative X-Fi (Platinum) Installat

Question

Ok, let me preface this by saying I am somewhat of a process and services snob. I really hate when computer programs install all sorts of crap I don't need and then worse, have it start up automagically everytime I log on. Norton AV, Quicktime, Itunes and MS Acti'vesync are my current hate list.
Now that brings me to the X-Fi. I just installed this thing I and I noticed a whole boatload of programs this thing installed that start up automatically.
Could someone please tell me what the different programs do, and what will happen if I disable them? (Please don't give me a stock answer of something along the lines of "All these programs are needed for safe operation of your product") I am sure some techie type from Creative or possibly a user has figured these out.

Creative Mediasource Go
Creative Detector
AudioDrvEmulator
CTXFISPI.exe
VOLPanel.exe
RCSystem DLLML.exe
CTsvcCDA.exe (not sure if this is one of the ones already listed)
notiman.exe
I hate to say it, but guys, that is way too much stuff for one device to require to run...
Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

Yes,lot of processes,i also hate them. Too many of them.
My old sound card have none (terratec SixPack).
But today manufacturers have one thig in mind : crapy software.
Is not only Creative, there are many : Apple , Pinnacle .....
For a minimum amount of processes do a custom installation,
and mark only:
Entertaiment/Audio Creation/Game Mode Console
Creative Audio Console
Audio Drivers
This will result in only 3 processes: CTHELPER , CTXFIHLP , CTXFISPI.
The only problem is that your remote control will not work.Probably
