Progress Indicator Window?

A co-worker asked me if Cp had any kind of debugging window. I hadn't ever seen or heard of that, so I was poking around and found the Progress Indicator window. It doesn't run any kind of trace or debug, but does have a message about 'ongoing media imports' but I couldn't get it to actually do anything with some quick testing. The online help was um, not very helpful.
Anyone know what this will show?

I am not too sure if I understood your point fully. Anyways, I would share to what I assume--
The Progress Indicator Pane, basically shows you the information, about the progress on conversion of any Non-flash video format to a Flash Enabled Format using AME.
So, if you try to import, say AVI video, it would prompt you if you would like to convert it using Adobe Media Encoder, if you chosse, yes, it would display folowing in the Project Indicator Pane--

Hello Pullela,
For once you are lucky to use Captivate 4, because this feature was lost in CP5. It is a bit cumbersome but possible: choose File Export Captions to Word (do not remember the exact phrasing, sorry). In the Word document you will see the progess indicators, and you'll be able to change the word Question. Then re-import without changing the filename in the Captivate file.
For CP5-users I posted an alternative workaround on my blog recently; it uses the master slide, but you could also tweak this for CP4, you'll have to copy/paste to all slides:

Issues with Logic's Progress Indicator Please Help!!!!!!!!!!!

The issue I'm having Only happens when I'm recording audio in to Logic. Logic's little Progress Indicator window does not disappear(for lack of a better word) when I switch from my Logic screen to my Internet Browser.
Is there anyway I can disable the Progress indicator from floating on the Internet browser and only appear on Logic's Screen? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The "Progress Indicator" is there because you are recording. If you don't record, it will go away. Better yet, if you surf the 'net, and forget about recording anything, you'll be better off, as you'll never have to see that indicator ever again. Lord forbid a recording session ever get int he way of your 'net surfing.

Progress indicator icon does not appear in Sap Portal

Hi experts.
Currently, i Have developed a WD ABAP which contains a progress indicator icon. When I execute this WD from backend (R/3 via SE80) the Icon progress appears while the WD is recovering data, building structure, etc...
The problem appears when I access to the scenary from SAP Portal, because from SAP Portal does not appear the Progress Icon. Someone can tell me why the icon is not appearing, and how Can i solve it???

My problem is that I can obtain a progress indicator icon (a circle moving) when I am inside of my Ivew, but I need to show this icon also in the first step, during the initialization. The initialization of my scenary is a hard process which spent a lot of time, and I wonder if is possible show a Process indicator Icon while all data are being recovery. This icon is showed when I run my webdynpro in the Backend, but this icon does not appears qhen the new Internet Explorer Windows is opened.
Do you know how to show it???

No progress indicator or report for Tools menu sequence execution?

I have a sequence that I call from the TestStand customized Tools menu.
This sequence generates custom reports on sequences. The report generation
process can take anywhere from 10 to 60 seconds (there are DB queries
involved).
I hoped to use the TestStand progress indicator to display the report
generation progress and the Report.Load method to display the report to the
user when its done.
If I set a breakpoint on the first step of the report generation sequence
and run it, everything works as expected after I proceed from the break
point. The progress indicator comes up and updates itself. And the
operator gets a copy of the report in the Report tab of the execution
window.
However, if I don't set a bre
akpoint, an execution window never pops up. No
progress indicator, no report when done.
I assume its got to do with interactive v. non-interactive execution. Is
there a way to force a Tools menu sequence to execute as an interactive
execution so I get the execution window to pop up?

Thanks. I forgot to mention that I'd tried that... still no luck. I added
the RunState.Tracing = True as a statement as the first step in my Tools
seqeunce call. The execution window still does not appear. Is there some
place special this statement needs to be?
Are there any global setting
s that override the Tracing flag? If I check
Enable Tracing in Station Options, while the window pops up, the execution
takes unacceptably long as TestStand traces every single step, even when
tracing speed is set to max. I can't find any other setting that seems
related to this...
Any other ideas?

Progress indicator does not move

Windows xp 64 bit. I have the newest version installed.
When I try to do daily jigsaw at shockwave.com, it says:
"adobe shockwave player is now installing" but nothing happens
The progress indicator does not move. Self help did not work,
uninstlling and reinstalling standalone, etc. The Flash advertisement
befor the game works fine. Wasted several days on it.

Progress Indicator Lost in Tray

Hi,
when I open a Web Dynpro proxy page within a tray the progress indicator is lost. When opening the same page in a new window without a tray, for example via preview the progress indicator is displayed. Anyone who can explain why the progress indicator is not visible within a tray?

Hi all,i have developed a new custom form,I have 3 windows in my form.When i am opening first window and closing,this works fine but when i opening second window and try to close it Progress indicator pops up.There's nothing much of a coding part in my button which brings up the 2nd window

GO_BLOCK('POINSPECT');I have searched the forums and Google but it brought up nothing.I have changed the pre-form trigger and in app-custom body.

Do not use Data Binding tab to bind the Drop down,
Select Specify Item Values
There in binding tab specify binding and there are few more options to specify Item Text and Item Value.

How to show webgui progress indicator in Webgui while executing report

ITS 6.2 patch 18
I am calling r/3 report as a new window from template base html page. Mission is to show webgui progress indicator instead of hour glass. The report takes 3 minutes to the result. Shortly before showing result page,the webgui progress indicator appears at the center of the page. I tried abap function SAPGUI_PROGRESS_INDICATOR to r/3 report.However, it did not work.
If anyone konws how to do it, let me know.

Another question is how to grab webguiform input field data.
I got other issues.
As you see source code, I pass parameter like PA0001-ORGEH=`PA0001-ORGEH` to the javascript function for a popup window .
When I use this `SAP_InputField("PA0001-ORGEH")` clause at template script, I cannot grab data properly before hitting enter. I guess the reason is in webgui's dynamic webpage generation. Is it right ?
When I use html code <input type="text">, there is no problem in passing parameter. When I use search help function with <input> code, other field's data is changed into default value.
If someone knows the way to grab input field data from DOM, let me know. I tried document.webguiform.element[0].value, it did not work.
It seems there are tons of limits in webgui function.

Can't get past gray screen with progress indicator... Help

I can't turn on my Macbook. It starts but won't go past the gray screen with the progress indicator (spinning circle).
I have tried:
1. turning off, removing battery, holding start for 5+ seconds, replacing battery and then turning on.
2. Holding command + option + R + P while staring up, waited for 3+ chimes.
3. holding Shift down while starting up
none of these things are working.
I've been on hold with apple service/support for almost an hour now.
I have an assignment on the computer that is due by midnight.
HELP!
I'm not very computer savvy and this is my first mac.

How to change the text in Progress Indicator?

How do I edit the text for Progress Indicator in Captivate 4?
What if wanted to change the font color, or even create this test in Spanish for example? How to edit the word "Questions"?
Is there a way to edit the default in Captivate?

I'm just a Captivate newbie myself, but it seems to be a default style that you cannot edit. Also, changing "Question" to "Questions" would be grammatically incorrect in that case anyway.

I used Progress Indicator befor running this query and after this query also. But still It's giving me TIME-OUT error in this select query only.
I run the same query for 10 records in IT_BKPF1 table, it runs perfectly. But when I run it for 1000 records it giving dump.
And in actual bussiness my records are always more than 100 only.
I also check the indexing. It having secondary indexing on this BUKRS, AUGDT, AUGBL fields. Then also it's giving error.
so, How can I solve this dump..?? What could be the reason..??

Try to provide BELNR and GJAHR in where condition...
BKPF-DBBLG ==> BSAK-BELNR
Also check
BKPF-BLDAT ==> BSAK-AUGDT
Check out above relation...
If data is there in these fields of the table and both are matching then you can pass it and as they are in primary key of BSAK it will improve the performance...

How to use progress indicator which block the user for editing ?

Hi All,
I have a requirement where i need to show a round progress bar while processing to the database.For example :- I have a bounded taskflow and inside it I have a two jspx page called as "First.jspx" and "Second.jspx".And i have two textboxes and one "Save" button on first.jspx page.
Now when user puts the values in the textboxes and hits the "Save" button , my ticker or progress indicator should say "Please wait while processing" and as soon as the transaction is complete , i need to show another page which is "Second.jspx" page. "Save" button action has method inside a managed bean which has some functionality and then it executes the VO(View Object) and commits the data.
How should i implement the indicator?
I have read this article :- http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/adf/learnmore/42-progressbarcolor-169184.pdf but it doesn't fit to my requirement.I need indicator which holds the user to edit anything on the page.Like what we get when we do any transaction in banks while navigating to payment gateway.
