Progress Tab fields as required field

Hello PS Experts,
We do Progress analysis and update the Progress Tab of activity in
CJ20N. One of our business requirement is to make one of the fields in
Progress Tab as required field.Eg. Progress Version.
Is there any way to make this field as required ?

As I mentioned ,my requirement is to make one of the fields in Progress Tab in Activity or Activity Element as required field .
Also I do have different projects. I would like to restrict it for some projects only based on Project profile or network profile

Steps for transferring data to extra tab fields

Hi,
I have to populate target days from range of coverage to extra tab field. What are the steps I need to follow?
First I need to use the FM EXIT_SAPLCMAT_001 to get the value on R/3 side and send to APO
I think I need to create a file and give a name for that in APO product master Extra tab.
I know how to do the first part then I don't have any idea on how to proceed after that.
I would appreciate any help.

I found the procedure myself.
Here it is:
1. Create a project in CMOD for the user exit FM EXIT_SAPLCMAT_001
2. Enter your coding to populate the field one of the fields AT01 to 05 in the table CT_CIF_MATLOC-AT10X ( X being on of 1 to 5)
3. In APO, maintain the field names in SPRO>APO>Master data>Maintain Freely definable attributes for the field AT10X as Your required text here.
When the material is CIFed from R/3 to APO, it is filled in the field Your required text here.

How to add a new tab(field ) in selecting ranked list(cj20n)

I want to add a tab/field for position of employee while selecting ranked list.As i have to select employees on the basis of their skills and positions .I have used requirement profile but it is selecting on the basis of skils and not on the basis of position.
If I select Item tab it selects on the basis of Positions But i want to select on the combination of both skills and positions.
So i want to add field (position ) when it shows ranked list of employees.

I'll try to explain better my need.
I've 10 CO-PA Key-Figures used to Split in the Cost of a material in different Cost Items.
Using the customizing I fill these key-figures using some rules.
The new requirement is use SOMETIME the same KF, by displaying different Costs overwritting the original values using the exit ZXYEXF05. But I need to know when the user wants consider the original value of KF, and when he wants overwrite these values (when I have to run teh exit). So I thought to create a new Selection-screen field (Char1), to permit to the user to pass to some report this user request. I thought to define a global variable, and add it to several reports when this feature is required.
Can you suggest a better solution ???
I could create some empty KF and fill them using teh exit, but I would prefer not expand the CO-PA structure.

Is it possible to get history in CO02 transaction regarding changes in goods receipt tab fields or is there any separate transaction where we can see the changes regarding CO02 field changes or else we should go for any enhancement ? Pls suggest asap.

Tab setting as required

Hi All,
How can we set the tab control as required,for example if there are ten fields on the screen ,if i want the tabto be moved to third field when i press tab and then to second field and then to fifth field and so on as in the required order any body please help me out.
One more problem i had is with date search help i want the search help for date field for ex.
i had a input field which takes date for that field i want a search help in the form of calender
i,e when i press on thet search help a calender should be opened.

This is called tab sequencing... I think directly it's not possible in SAP. You have to write custome made object to handle events. It will be farely complex creating one.
More over for search help ... answer writen above is correct.

Entry in fields to make compulsory /Required Entry for QM tab fields in MMR

Dear Gurus ,
I need to make some fields as Required Entry in Quality Management tab of Material Master record
So that the users compulsorily need to fill data before saving the MMR. The fields which I want to
make compulsory are visible after clicking the "Inspection setup" button in the QM tab , the various
fields are "post to insp. lot", "inspection with task list" etc. like this about 10 fields ,
I went in OMS9 , but could not find the field ref. group for table RMQAM , also could not find these
fields in OMSR.
Please guide how to make these fields compulsory. Thanks in advance.

I don't think this is possible in standard...since all this fields (ticked or un-ticked) flow from the configuration of Inspection types in QM...you have to see there in QM configuration whether anything is possible...

Tab canvas with required fields (problem)

hi,
I am using tab canvas with 5 tabs with diff blocks.
receive
issue
adjust
return
view
some fields are required in all tabs.
when i run the form and in RETURN TAB and enter some data and click the save button the cursor goes to receive tab and focus the required fields with a message
FIELD MUST BE ENTER
same for issue tab also...
i dont want to enter any thing there ..
how i manage it

Not sure if I understand you correctly. You say some fields are required in all tabs, but also that you 'don't want to enter anything here'. Do you mean that the fields are required, but only if you're entering data on that specific tab? I.e. you don't have to enter all of the tabs.
If that's the case, are all the tabs based on the same block, or different blocks?

Iprocurement - ShoppingHomePg /CheckoutLinesPG- Required /Multi-tab field

Hi,
CheckoutLinesPG page is a one of a Multi-tab pages in Iproc under the ShoppingHome Pg.
We have made a field rendered (enabled) using personalization and the field is required in the CheckoutLinesPG page.
Now the required property fires if a user goes to the CheckoutLinespage and clicks on apply.
ShoppingHome Pg. is a Main page which has multi-tab pages one of which is the CheckoutLinesPG.
But if the user doesn't go the CheckoutLinespage and clicks on submit from the main ShoppingHome pg I want the required property to fire.
What is the best way to go about this ? .
Any hints would be of great help.

I'm not able to capture values using the putTransactionvalue and getTransactionvalue. Attached below is the code in my extended controller of the called tab i.e CheckoutLinespg. Can you please help
I've only used the getTransactionvalue in the process request to trap the value but actually would be used only in the calling pg controller i.e CheckoutSummarypg.
The write diagnostics log doesn't show the values of the session parameters or other messages but shows that the ProcessRequest , Processformrequest , Processformdata is run.

How to hide tabs/fields in crmd_order

Dear All,
We have been using transaction CRMD_ORDER for creation of quote/contract.
We are in requirement to hide a few unused fields and a few unused tabs so that the user navigation is simplified and made error free.
How do we achieve this.

Copying of Shipping tab fields from Customer master to Sales Order.

Dear SAP SD Gurus,
I am trying to create an Order, but the Data in the Shippining tab of the Customer Master doesnt get Copied in to the Sales ORder.
the Fields in the Cuystomer master are 1) Partial delivery per item 2) Max. partial deliveries.
and this happens specifically for a particular Sales Area.
the same order when created with the same customer master but a Different Sales Area, the data gets Copied correctly.
can some body quickly advise me, if there is a Standard setting to maintian such a vehaviour or Could there be some "Z Developmet".

Check your customers (use tcode XD03 - provide sales area) the Shipping tab
1) Partial delivery per item
2) Max. partial deliveries.
for the Sales Area which is not copying to sales order.
If it is not maintained, then maintain the same as your requirement.

SAP Cloud Application Studio Make Account All Tabs fields/Table Entry readonly

Hi Experts,
I have urgent requirement with the below scenario.
Scenario : In Account have flag Prospect if this flag check then all the fields under "Header" and all Tabs(ADDRESSES , SALES DATA etc) fields are editable.
But if the flag is unchecked then under "Header" all fields are non editable and under the Tabs we want to disable the Add New record (Under ADDRESSES tab Add button want to be disable)
kindly refer the above figure in that the Prospect Flag is uncheck so all fields under Header are read only But i also want to disable the "Add" , "New" function under the all Tabs as mentioned in the above screen.
Kindly suggest me.

Hi Mithun,
This is not going to be easy as this is a standard screen, but you can try this approach
Add a custom Field of type indicator and set this indicator to True when you unchek the prospect check box in after modify.
You can define the property read-only of your fields( which you need to disable) with the value as bound to this Custom Indicator you added.
You can also do the same using the UI Switch instead of modifying the standard configuration. But disabling the Action Add, I think is not possible unless SAP gives you an anchor to hide it by setting the Button property

FV60 Vendor Invoice Amount Split Tab Field

Greetings! Our users do not have authorization to access to FB60 - how can we open the fields (OTA and NAME OF OTA PAYEE) in the Amount Split Tab using FV60 - Park Vendor Invoice? Thank you in advance

In the amount split tab of FV60 there will be a Yellow and blue button on the right corner named as configuration. Just click on it and go to Administrator and there you will see OTA and name of OTA payee . Please see if this has been set as invisible there. If they have not been set as invisible and still you can not see them in FV60 Amount split then the only way to fetch these fields in FV60 is through SHD0...For that please proceed as under
Go to SHD0...Enter FV60 in Transaction code and ZFV60 in transaction variant.Press create button on the left top corner and enter co code and press enter again when next screen appears, it will take you to the main screen of FV60.. Enter vendor , invoice date,amount , GL account and and its amount and then keep on press entering and giving name to screen where it is required unless a FV60 main screen appears again...Now go to amount split tab and keep on pressing enter unless amount split tab screen appears, data already entered in main screen will be seen by you there , press enter two times times you will see a screen 0090 carrying these OTA fields there you will have to just un check the invisible tick from them and then exit and save with a proper name for screen variant. Give ABAP package name and exit. Upon exit in SDH0 standard variant tab assign and activate this ZFV60 variant and now you will be able to see them.
