Project Commitment Cost not visible for Purchase Orders with Item Categry Q

Hello All
I have a problem. My project commitment cost is not visible for PO's with Item Category Q. I assume that as the stock can be issued against any WBS elements I might not be able to see the cost against a single WBS element. But the cost should get recorded against the project right? If so where can I see it?

  • Archieve does not exist for purchase order

    Hello Gururs,
    When i tried to change the delivery date for the PO and when i trying to save the PO
    then it throws the error messages-'Archieve does not exist for purchase order'.
    PO was created in feb.
    Please help me how can i solve this issue.

    Can you give a more detailed information.
    What transaction you actually use, what you enter step by step until you get to the error: 'Archieve does not exist for purchase order'
    This message sounds like you want change a PO which is already archived.
    A change to an archived PO is not really logical,  as you can only archive closed business cases. and if the business case is closed, then why would you change the delivery date.
    A PO from February should not really be archived already in June. I never saw it in practice, as you could not do any anual reporting
    I would assume further that SAP found the entered PO number in the archive index but did not find the way to the archive itself. This can happen if the archive file was deleted or moved manually.
    I am not sure if the next messae has really anything to do with your purchase order, thats why I ask you to post the exact steps until the messages come up:
    Le fichier archieve 000524-002SD_COND n'existe pas is the message discription
    But even this message explains more or less the same, that the physical archive is no longer in the same place where it is expected to be found according to the info in records of table ADMI_FILES.

  • Item cost not found for one or more items - Inventory Posting

    Good Day Mentors,
    My user has encountered an error during Inventory Posting and its "Item cost not found for one or more items".
    The specific Message ID from SAP's System Message Log is 10001287.
    I found a similar post which addresses this error here.
    But unfortunately it did not help me solve my user's problem.
    I already checked if the items had a defined "Item Cost" in the Item Master Data Inventory Tab, and they all have "Item Cost" defined.
    I'm not sure if this will help, but below is the Inventory Audit Report of one of the items that is throwing the "Item cost not found" error.
    I am not a business consultant neither am I literate in accounting, so thanks for the patience.
    SAP Version: 9.0 PL5
    Valuation Method: Moving Average

    I've already verified in our production database the points you made:
    - Is the "Manage Item cost per warehouse" selected in the Basic Initialization Screen?
    YES
    - Is the "Manage Inventory by Warehouse" ticked/checked in the "Inventory Data" tab of the "Item Master Data" screen?
    YES
    * I apologize for not have been able to give this information upfront.
    Anyway, the database only has one warehouse at the moment.
    I've checked the items, like the item in the screen shot above, and it does have an item cost.

  • User Exit for Purchase Order Line Items.

    I have been trying to search for a User Exit for Purchase Order Line Items and have been unable to do find anything.  I need to overwrite the Net Price and Pricing Condition on a certain type of material based upon the Pricing Condition for that Line Item which is on the Sales Document.  Any direction you can point me into would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

  • MD04: Unable to see Purchase Orders with Item Category S

    Whenever we create Purchase Orders with Item Category S (3rd party), they are not visible in MD04 Stock Requirements list.
    Is there anyway we can get the Item category S Orders to be displayed in the MD04 list?

  • Goods receipt for purchase order with account assignment 'K'

    Hello All,
    There are couple of purchase orders with acc.*** "K". On doing the GR for these PO's they have been done with mvt type 103 & mvt typ 105.
    I understand that material has been directly consumed to the respective cost center.
    How do track the internal movement for these materials??
    I need to view the stock for these materials at the cost center as in MMBE the stock is seen as ZERO.
    All these materials are with QM proc ACTIVE. So a goods receipt is done 105, then the inspection lot is cleared. However, in this case as the material is directly consumed, it is NOT displayed in QA32.
    Is the above procedure correct??? Is it better to receive stock against mvt type 101 & then do a 201 mvt ??

    Account assignment inventories are not maintained. To maintain a report for cost center receiving/issuing you need to make a customized report with help of ABAP.
    Other way is to pull report in MB51, with selection criteria COST CENTER and it will give you result of stocks available on cost center. For stocks received on cost center, you can pull report with cost center and movement 101.
    201 is used for goods issue to cost center from warehouse, the stock you receive from PO against 101 is directly charged to cost center, so no need to issue later to cost center.

  • LIV for Purchase Orders with Account Assignment

    Hi SAP Gurus,
    I would like to get your expert advice on this...
    I enabled total based invoice acceptance and reduction by performing the required configuration steps (define vendor tolerance group, set up the auto invoice reduction tolerance checks, assigned the tolerance group to the vendor). I was assuming that this would work for my purchase order which contains an account assignment. However, when I tested it out, instead of behaving as expected (create invoice and credit memo for the excess value), the system generated only 1 accounting document. The price variance was posted back to the account assignment assigned to the PO item.
    Did I miss out on any steps? or is this the way SAP treats account assigned (non-stock) PO items (i.e. no invoice reduction occurs). If so, can you explain to me why?

    Please find answers to your queries below in bold.
    1. I was just wondering why would SAP allow such transaction/s to happen? Wouldn't it compromise the integrity of the whole document trail (PO account assignment is different from the LIV)?  -
    There could be some business scenarios in some organisations, where in Procurement team uses generic cost centre (header), which is specific to particular department or group, to procure. But at the time of Invoice Receipt, AP team knows exact cost centre or order, etc  to post the amounts. To cover these kind of scenarios, SAP probably has provided the option to change acount assignment.
    2. Is there a way to edit the Account Assignment for a Purchase Order line item even if that item has been fully received and invoiced? -
    These field changes at various levels can be configured via t-code OME9.
    a) IR Changeable - This field if selected will allow to change the account assignment of a purchase order item at the time of invoice receipt.
    b) Acct. assg. changeable - This field is selected will allow to change account assignment for an item following goods receipt or invoice receipt.

  • Output message not generated for Purchase order

    We maintain MN04 message condition record for  2 key combination for output type NEU:
    1. Purchasing Output determination : Document type  -> NB, medium 1 print out
    2. Purchasing Output determination : Document type/Pur Org/Vendor -> NB, 1000, vendor 20001, medium 5 External email
    When I create PO for other vendor (not 20001), the system is nicely generating the output of the PO for printout.
    Next we have maintain a condition record in MN04 for a particular vendor 20001, Doc type and Porg with setting 5, 4, EN so that we can send the PO via email to the vendor 20001, the system is not generating a message output of the purchase order when i check it before saving.
    Please help me with this situation. we need setup the email PO functionality.

    I created another message type ZNEU copy from NEU, include it in the message schema, created condition record with MN04/MN05 for both NEU for printout  and ZNEU for medium 5 email. done all steps mentioned in the links.
    When create a PO still only 1 message record NEU is defualted for printout only.
    The message record for email ZNEU is not defaulted in PO?? Anything elase need to be done.

  • Shopping Cart attachment is not visible in Purchase order

    Hello All
    I am new to SRM world and struggling with below issue.
    When we are attaching documents in shopping carts then those documents are not visible in back end purchase orders. Problem here is that this scenario is running fine on our productions system but not on quality system. So  I assume that there is no problem with code (BADIs implemented). If this would have been code then this problem would have been on Production also.
    When I go to purchase orders attachment tab then I am able to see the document name there but when I go to Originals Tab then I am not able to see actual document (PDF).
    What could be wrong with configurations here?? DC10, 20 and 30 configurations are same on Quality and production.
    Please advise on this.

  • Basket icon is not displaying for purchase order creation transaction iview

    Hi SDNs,
    I have created a set of purchase related transaction iviews like for example purchase order display.
    there i couldn't find the basket icon to drop the other purchase order number, which we generally choose by using docuement overview on to change the number.
    in WebGUI how do we drop the exisiting documnet into the screen.
    I have activated all icon services in sicf, is there any specific services to be activated to have such kind of icons in webgui.
    Please suggest me to resolve this.

  • BAPI for PURCHASE ORDER with OPEN QUANTITY field

    Hi All,
    I wanted to use the BAPI_PO_GETDETAIL to get the Purchase Order details upon triggering from Warehouse management system,
    But the details required contains a field called OPEN QUANTITY...which is not used in this BAPI.
    I request to let me know if any BAPI exits for PO details having the structure for this field:Open Quantity.
    Am using SAP version 4.0B.
    If not exists please advise how to customize the existing BAPI to meet the requirement.

    Hi,
    Open quantity is a calculated field. I guess the BAPI gives the details of the delivery, so take the ordered qty and substract the delivered qty from that.
    Delivery data is EKET table.

  • GR for purchase order with Account assignment E

    Hello All
    I am having a scenario where in the BOM structure is as under: A->B->C--->D, D is the raw material, C is the component produced in-house, B is the material which we procure through subcontracting, in the material master of C SPK:30 is used for subcontracting, & A is in-house produced material with purely MTO scenario (20 - strategy).
    Once the sales order of A is there we run MRP for it, as per the master data settings described above we get purchase requisition for D & when I convert it to purchase order it is having account assignment as E.
    This is all well but the moment I try to save it, system throws an error stating: 'G/L account 20500100 cannot be used (please correct)". This G/L account is of raw material itself.
    Can you please guide me to overcome this problem.

    Check the OBYC settings for this transaction, assign the correct G/L for this transaction. Try to get the help from MM consultant to resolve this.
    Check in BSX Transaction for the invetroy posting.
    Check the G/L account it is exist for your company code.
    Take the G/L account which is coming in the error message and go to FS00 t code select tab Create/blank/interest , there you will have field status group just double click on that . It will take you to field status group display in that check the combination of the selection.
