Project "Continues" when it is not supposed to
Files created in Adobe Captivate 6, published in Flash 11 on a PC running Windows 7. Published files viewed in IE 10 and Google Chrome.
Slides set up with "Next" button in lower right corner, no shortcut for this button. The intention is that the user may only advance from slide to slide by clicking these buttons, doing otherwise would defeat the branching.
In each of these two files I am able to make the project "continue" by double clicking anywhere on the slide, end result being that the user can go to the next slide without using the "Next" button.
This has happened in two projects. In the first this happened only on a single slide. In the second it happened on every slide. In between my creation of the first and second I created perhaps 12 others that did not have this problem.
I do not have a clickbox set to "Continue" or "Next Slide" on any of my slides. I am not using a widget for my "Next" button, I have pasted an individual button on each page.
If anyone knows how to fix this, I would be very grateful.

I might a explanation. I have noticed that behavior when you click on a smartshape button with for example a Toggle command (Captivate 7). It also seems to send a "continue" command. So if you are at the end of a slide, it will go to next in line.
The fix for this is to do the old fashioned Execute Advanced Action, and in that one use the Toggle function.
Must be a bug. But, I don't know where to report bugs. ( And I don't get the feeling they care. ****! This is the crappiest program I have ever bumped into in my whole programmer life. )

Music repeats in slideshow when it's not suppose to...?
Hi
After searching the iPhoto and iDVD forums and not finding the answers to my problems, I thought I’d start anew. This will be posted in both forums.
Situation: Creating slideshows with multiple songs within iPhoto, then sending it over to iDVD either via iPhoto or exporting using QuickTime. I have all the latest updates for everything.
Problem 1: I have the “Fit slideshow to music” selected, AND the “Repeat slideshow” DE-selected. At the end of the slideshow (as viewed in iDVD, as well as the burned DVD), the first few seconds of the first song begins to play again. How do I make that stop?
Problem 2: I do not select the “Scale photos to fill screen” button in iPhoto. When I send a slideshow to iDVD going through iPhoto, all is good with the way the slides come out. However, if I use the Export command and then Import into iDVD, I get the black stripes at the top and bottom of the screen. And yes, I have the slideshow format set to 4:3 iDVD, TV. Any thoughts here?

InputFile "works" when it's not supposed to

I'm using <af: inputFile> without using ValueChangeEvents with the value of the inputFile binded directly to a managed bean:

On my page I also have some af commandButtons, commandMenuItems... etc.
The problem is that when I click one of them and inputFile field is not empty the file is being read. How can I disable this? It's very irritating since when the file is bigger than UPLOAD_MAX_MEMORY+UPLOAD_MAX_DISK_SPACE parameters a "java.io.EOFException: Per-request disk space limits exceeded" is thrown.
When value of the inputFile is not binded there is no problem, but without binding upload won't work and I don't want to use ValueChangeEvents.
Can anyone help me ? :)
ps. I don't want to change MAX_MEMORY and MAX_DISK_SPACE parameter.Hello bebjjb6,

Not sure if it really matters, but have you doubled checked the other tabs (Music, Movies, TV Shows, etc) for your iPod in iTunes to see if they are no longer checked to sync?
You can also disable automatic syncing of iPods via iTunes preferences. In iTunes choose *Edit > Preferences*, click Devices, and select “Disable automatic syncing for all iPhones and iPods.”

Zen Micro problem-turning on when it is not suppose

After I shut down the micro and place it in my bag, it will turn on by itself. I have fooled around with this and can get it to start up without having to switch the top lever to the left and just by touching the touch pad. It did not matter if it was in the hold position or not. Any suggestions to fix this?Sk7,
It should not do this. Have you updated to the latest firmware yet? If not I would suggest using this update to reload the system on it to make sure this isn't just a firmware problem.

Not all my passwords are synced across. Are there certain cases when it is not supposed to?
I have two computers, one at work and my personal laptop. Both are set up to use FF4 sync, and I checked, passwords are enabled to be synced. However, I found that certain passwords are not synced (well, one at least) -- I thought adding the page as a favourite might help but no luck. The password is still not synced. Are there circumstances in which passwords should not sync (by design)? Or is this some bug?
Thanks for the great browser, guys and gals!It's possible that particular Password is somehow "broken" to sync. In which case, Sync will skip it.
To correct it;<br>
- Delete the entry that isn't syncing from your passwords. <br>
- Sync Now<br>
- Then visit the page for the password, add the password<br>
- Sync Now, again<br>
- Finally, Sync Now, from other machine. -
Songs are playing on shuffle mode when they are not supposed to
I am using the latest version for Windows 10 and songs are playing on shuffle mode on their own. As a matter of fact, there is a song playing now that isn't even on the playlist that I am listening to
Was there some earlier version that you found worked better?-- maybe version 0.8.x-- or version 0.9.x?
* Some earlier versions may have been easier to "debug" and force to work right for you? What has been your experience? -
I am trying to connect a Macbook Pro to a projector for a Powerpoint presentation. When I use a VGA cable, the color of the projected images are not good. When I use a USB cable, the projected image includes the presenter notes on my computer screen?
To move an iPhoto Library to a new machine:
Link the two Macs together: there are several ways to do this: Wireless Network,Firewire Target Disk Mode, Ethernet, or even just copy the Library to an external HD and then on to the new machine...
But however you do choose to link the two machines...
Simply copy the iPhoto Library from the Pictures Folder on the old Machine to the Pictures Folder on the new Machine.
Then hold down the option (or alt) key key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library'
and select the Library that you moved. That's it.
This moves photos, events, albums, books, keywords, slideshows and everything else.
Your first option didn't work because you imported one Library to another. Every version and thumbnail is imported like a distinct photo, you lose all your Albums, Keywords etc., the link between Original and Previews is destroyed, the non-destructive editing feature is ruined and so on. In summary: it's mess.
Your second option didn't work because you simply referenced her library on the old machine.

When I try to access my music library from AppleTV is keeps telling me to turn on ITunes Match. I am not supposed to need iTunes Match for Home Sharing. I tripled checked to ensure Home Sharing is turned on and it is. Can anyone offer a solution?
All of your computers content are available in the AppleTV section called "Computer". This is where you will find your music.
The Music section of the AppleTV is only for those who subscribed to iTunes Match. -
The photos that I better (improves automatic) are saved on the iphone, but when I transfer them to my PC improvements appear no more, only on iphone. I do not understand why the improvements are just the iphone, and not continue when I transfer the photos to my PC.

There is nothing wrong with Photostream. The "problem" is likely in the way you are using it.
In order for photos to be moved into Photostream, two things must happen. (1) you have to be connected to Wifi, and (2) you have to exit the Camera app. Unless both of those things happen, the photos will not be transferred to Photostream.
So, shut down your camera app, and connect to Wifi. Wait a while, and the photos you took with your iPhone should be transferred. -
no one can give me a straight answer on when this thing is coming. what was the point of the preorder. what am I suppose to do if this thing comes when I'm not in the country with no access to my email. very disappointed in Verizon.
littlechuga40oz If you're only going to be gone for a short period of time, and your package ships via FedEx, you can request a vacation hold once you receive your tracking information. I don't know about UPS but I'm sure they'd have something similar to what FedEx does. @

CS Bridge when opening file shows " Some Application Components are missing from Application Directory- Reinstall". Uninstalled with uninstaller, reinstalled from disc. Message continues only in Bridge not in PS. Please help.
What version of Bridge and Photoshop and what platform? Mac or Windows? I can point you to a downloadable installer.
If the cdrom was damaged, it may be the problem.
You would uninstall and use the CC/CS Cleaner to remove any remnants before reinstalling.

Why do you not use projects? When to use them.
I responded to a post about what mistakes novice LabVIEW developers commonly make. One I feel is a common problem is not wrapping up closely coupled reuse code into projects that modularize code sections.
As examples there are nice Instrument drivers that contain all of the functionallity of a specific piece of test equipment. Keeping these vis that work together in a single reusable project is quite helpful. Other reusable pieces of code that are less related together might be more of a problem. For example a "Delay.vi" and a subvi that calculates a CRC for your company's propriatary communications bus have little cohiesion.
Yet namespacing might suggest that those vis sort of go together. Delay.vi on MyCorp.lvproj does change the problems Delay.vi from Mycorp has when YourCorp has another vi named "Delay.vi" and neither is in any sort of project.
The real issues seem to show up when we forget how each type of LabVIEW containers affect the "fully qualified name" of that peice of code asnd that the FQN effects what we really want...... I want my code to be protected from accidental change because I want to use that other code too!

A *.lvproj does in fact aid with grouping logically related functions and, does provide some namespacing. That "On<target ,project> in the FQN is not known to the vi itself but can make a huge difference to the caller! Lets use A TestStand proxy as an example caller and a UUTxxx.lvproj would be a common grouping of test steps, objects and methods that act to test functionality of "xxx" units. Say we use a DAQmx device to test these units, create our DAQmx Task and persist it to UUTxxx.lvproj (yes we can do that, Task creation at run time should be avoided but that is another topic). When calling the lvproject item from TestStand the proxy asks the project for the vi and its dependancies encluding any DAQmx tasks only that project knows about. Quite powerful namespaceing can be achieved with a simple *.lvproj!

hey, just to keep you updated - there is now a fix available for firefox 25, which should address the particular problem of pages not loading unless the mouse is moved.
if you have downgraded to firefox 24 to work around the issue, please go to ''firefox > options > advanced > update'' and turn automatic updates back on. then go to ''firefox > help > about firefox'' which should trigger the update to firefox 25.0.1.
