Project Currency - How to change

Hi all,
In the project profile , we have maintained a project currency, which gets defaulted in the project, once the project is created.
All WBS elements created also get the same project currecy and the field gets greyed. I am unable to change the currecy here.
I tried to remove any default currecy from the project profile, but the systems does't allow it and the currency gets defaulted from the company code.
How can I change the WBS currency during the project currecy?
Request feedback on the same.

Hi,
1.0 The system defaults the currency from the project definition as the object currency for each newly created WBS element.
You can change the object currency for a WBS element in the organizational data for the WBS element, provided no costs or payments have been posted yet in the WBS element.
2.0 If you have assigned a number of company codes to a controlling area and the company codes have different currencies, you cannot allocate the object currency. The system automatically uses the local currency of the respective company code.

Hi Christiana ,
Once you are in tcode CJ30 / CJ32 , Enter either Project definition or WBS element and this shall take you to the Budget screen and once you are here you can find a drop down with two options .One is Controlling are currency and the other one is Object currency.
Since the Currency is set to Object currency in OPS9, System shall allow the budget values in Object currency and if the user wants to see the same values in Controlling are currency ,then the user needs to view the values in Controlling are currency using the drop down .

How to change BP currency in AP Invoice using Add On

I create AP Invoice from my add on project .I used B1 D1 API SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oPurchaseInvoices .
I choose BP code from my form and then I create AP Invoice .When creating AP Invoice , I want to change BP Currency to other currency .It work well when BP is All currencies type . If BP has it's own currency I cannot change other currency to create AP.
pl advice me . how to do it ?

Can you do it from UI? I believe you can only use other currency if BP is all currency type.

How to change company code in Assignment tab (CJ20n-project builder)

Dear All,
Is there any config to maintain company code in assignment tab (project builder) ? We have a problem in our project. It shows that in basic data, user put company code A (in basic data) but in Assignment tab they put different company code let say B. When we do settlement , two accounting document created to company code A and B. By right it should be only company code A. In addition, we cannot change the company code, when the status is already Release (REL).
Please help how to change the company code B to A and how to reverse the accounting document that has been created under these two accounting document.

Now I understand your scenario, you have the Requesting Company Code and the Company Code Different.
You usually use this primarily with IM module if you want to manage the asset under construction (cross company) belonging to a different i.e., company code (Requesting ) than company code on main WBS.
You can not change the company code (Assignment Tab) as you already have actual posted against it.
You've also created an AUC (in wrong company code) and even if you reverse the settlement you would not be allowed to delete the AUC or the delete the settlement rule (its grey out as its already used)
What I can suggest is to reverse the settlement, lock this WBS which was created wrongly, create a new WBS and then continue with you regular process.
Above are my views but you can expect views from others.

It does not work this way. You have to use a content editor webpart.

How to change the currency in Billing plan in SO line item

Hi Experts
Pls help in following scenario.
Company Code Currency: HKD
Sales Document Currency: INR(Indian Rupees)
Item Pricing Condition Currency(PR00): 100 USD
Item Netvalue: 4800INR(System caluculated as per exchange rate type M)
Document Netvalue: INR 4800
The sales document item is linked to a billing plan.
I wanted to maintain 100USD in the billing plan.
When i goto Sales->item-->Billing Plan, The currency in billing plan screen is document currency and is greyed out.
How to change the Currency in Billing plan (to Item Condition currency) and maintain the Billing value in USD?

I'm having the same issue. I've been able to work around it by opening the txt file and copying the contents. Then I open a new file in Sublime Text 2, paste the contents and save the new file as "project.json". It seems to work, but it'd been nice if I didn't have to do this everytime I publish a new project.

How to change a Credit Card Commission Currency

I hope you can help me with a question I have...
I have a USD Customer who is paying a USD AR Invoice by a Credit Card.
I am in Banking -> Deposits -> Credit Card. I have selected my Deposit Currency as USD, selected my Euro Bank Account (which is also defined as All Currencies), selected my deferred payments account (which is defined as all currencies). I have selected the row which is being paid.
Then I click on the Commissions ... button and I now want to enter the commission amount, but I need to do this in USD, and I can't figure out how to change the currency, it always shows as GBP.
Can anyone help me with this one please?

Is there anyway to change the Credit Card Commission Currency found under Banking -> Deposits -> Deposit -> Credit Card -> Commissions, from say GBP to EUR or USD regardless of the Local / System / Business Partner / G/L Account currency setups please?
I have to pay USD 1.00 credit card commission but it only gives me the option to pay GBP 1.00.

I am not sure what you mean, but once you make a project. Then go to the share menu and you can export the project to iDVD, itunes, mobileme, quicktime.
Share export quicktime movie will allow you to export to a variety of codecs. What specific export are you looking to share the movie in? What is the final source that the movie will be displayed?

Dear Michael,
It was a User confusion with Creation Date of Invoice, Billing Date of Invoice and Posting date of Accounting Document.
User had created Invoice on some 01.03.2009 but Kept Billing Date as 26.02.2009. So, while released Accounting Doc. on 10.03.2009 (Releasing date and not Posting Date), It gets Posted on 26.02.2009, only, and not on 10.03.2009.
The whole confusion was:
When User refers Document Flow (for Invoice in VF02), System shows Invoice Date as 01.03.2009, against Accounting Posting Date 26.02.2009.
Whereas,
When I showed FBL5N to user, BL Document and AB Document both get posted on 26.02.2009 only.
Its Clear now.

How to change the project type of in-progress project, The project type is Testing and need to change it to basic project plan.

Another way is to click on the top right button of the project center ribbon, after selecting the project. Note that this way works for one project at a time whereas toon's reply works for bulk edit.

Duplicating a project and changing names is not straight forward particualarly when the design contains an board design with custom IP.

How to change my BR project output?

I have been fighting this for ages. When I make my BR disc, it keeps making it progressive and 23.97 fps. I want it 1080i and 29.94 fps.
I forced the transcoding for my bridged project and it transcoded it into a 29.94 file. But, the darn output keeps doing 23.97.
When I try to change the output settings in the project settings, the field rate is grayed out at 23.97.The field setting is grayed out saying progressive.
Any ideas how to change such that the output project is 1080i 29.94fps?

Are you using motion menu from Encore library ?
If choose the trahscode settings 1440 x 1080 29.97 actual footage will be transcoded as 29.97 and you can check that after transcoding, M2V file under source>transcodes.
The ISO info will show 23.97 but when you will pay it on player it will play 29.97.
