Project Load: Error Alerts Suppression Feature

I don't believe there is, but does anyone know of a way to suppress error alerts when loading a project that's missing plugins, can't load a mov file, etc...?
I've already filed a feature request for this and would love if others would too. This has been a big annoyance for me on a large project. Having to click Ok on 20+ alert popups is unnecessary and mind numbing to say the least when you are trying to get in and out of a file quickly. After Effects should simply log all of the errors and create an Error log text file and after the last error just before project is ready to open show one simple alert stating that there were errors and to check out the log for details, or even a small summary of the errors in ONE alert popup. If there is an error, I get it, no need to announce every single one and force me to Ok it. Just give me a list of the problems. Faster, more organized, and just simply a better user experience.

    When opening a project that has errors with files, missing plugins, etc... errors of any kind. It would be extremely valuable to consolidate those alert warnings into one single txt log file for easy review and only have ONE alert that either gives a summary of the errors or states that an error log was created in the parent folder of said project file.
Why is this feature important to you?
     Getting a single alert popup for every single error is extremely annoying and in most cases takes way too much valuable time to babysit and click "Ok" for every alert. This annoyance is amplified by not having a printed summary to review afterwards if there are lots of errors or missing plugins.

This is the primary one that I have been dealing with a lot. It's Avid media conversion files that are hit and miss on mac it seems. I have lots of composition timelines that were built via AAF through Auto Duck and these timelines need to stay present in my project. So I have to deal with 10 - 30 of these alert popups each time I open a AEP file, due to the number of mov's in the AEP file. Stuff like that is what makes no sense. Consolidate all errors into one notification, preferrably something tangable like a simple text document so it can be easily reviewed and delt with if need be in addition to the alert popup.
Also after opening another AEP that had missing plugins, I now see the new consolidated alert for missing plugins. Many thanks, that really helps.

Is there a way to build a set of rules around the Alert Suppression feature. For example if a custom alert is triggered more than 5 times in 10 minutes, I want to suppress that alert for the next hour.

Hi,
I understand that you want to enable alert suppression after alert is triggered 5 times in 10 minutes, I have to say that I don't think this can be done.
As Alert suppression can only be enabled when the rule is created. You cannot enable alert suppression by using an override. So you should re-create the rule if you want to enable suppression.

Error building project using kXML2 - "Class loading error: Wrong name"

Hi,
I'm testing the XML-Parser KXML2 and downloaded the latest package, but the minimal version (kxml2-min.zip). I put this file into the directory "%j2mewtk%\apps\KxmlTest\lib" and wrote the lines

import org.xmlpull.v1.*;
When I try to build the project with the Wireless Toolkit (v1.04) it spits out the following error:
Error preverifying class kxml2.io.KXmlParser
Class loading error: Wrong name
com.sun.kvem.ktools.ExecutionException: Preverifier returned 1
Build failed
I also tried the full package "kxml2.zip" but the same error occurs.
How can I get rid of this? Thanks in advance!

Okay, finally worked it out (hopefully). I unpacked the archive to a directory (say "%J2MEWTK%\apps\KxmlTest\tmpclasses") and then preverified them "manually":

Stor.e TV+ No Loader error keeps coming up when switching on

I have been experiencing continual problems accessing the hard drive. "No Loader" error message keeps coming up when switching on.
The so-called "solution" to this problem posted on this forum is to open up the box and fiddle with the cables. Whilst I have had some success with this method initially, dismantling the box 10 times a week is not on.
I tried something else in desperation.
When the No Loader message comes up, I switch the box off and on again from the remote.
After 2 or 3 times or so the HDD folder usually appears.
I have been doing this consistently now with great success. This however suggests that the No Loader error message is NOT a mechanical connector problem with the hard drive but (as usual) poor software (what else?).
Dismantling the unit is tantamount to switching it off for an extended period of time so may explain why this technique works.
Switching the unit on and off several times also solves the problem of the D folder not appearing on the network even though Win7 shows Store-TV-Plus as a mapped NTFS drive (but can't find the D folder).
See the similarity?
Another thing that exacerbates problems is the unit's poor ventilation. The first thing that happens with this unit is that the rubbish stick-on rubber feet fall off.
Whilst this may seem innocuous, the ventilation slots are underneath the unit and will be blocked if there are no feet. I live in a hot country so this device gets pretty hot and behaves even more erratically unless well ventilated.
Ideally keep it well away from other units and preferably sit it on a small box by itself with the vents underneath well exposed.
I also still experience problems playing FLAC and MKV files. The unit occasionally loses synch with FLAC files which generally otherwise play OK and locks up or causes loud bangs or white noise on the speakers (dangerous).
Some MKV files just don't play at all even though VLC plays them. There are a myriad other inconsistencies but these are the most annoying.
Is anyone else experiencing these problems or does anyone have any other solutions to prevent these problems?
I don't suppose we can expect another software upgrade from Toshiba? In your dreams, pal.

OK, so I took the risk and updated the firmware of my Stor.e TV+ to the Noontec V8S latest firmware V3.0816.13_V8S from noontec website.
The update went fine without a hitch (took about 2 minutes from an old 256MB flash drive plugged into the back USB port of the unit, which I formatted before using), and some of the irritating shortcomings of the Toshiba firmware was solved. Samba worked in some fashion, but I was still not able to download songs directly to the Stor.e over wireless, which is the only other feature I currently need. The irritating remote control buttons were changed to the way any sane person would use them (I had changed my universal remote control to correct this, so would have to change the settings if I kept the updated firmware) The new firmware seems solid, but I DON'T USE THE VIDEO CAPABLITIES, so I can't comment on this.
One major drawback of this update for me is that the small display on the unit becomes much less readable. Seems like there is a problem with the font on the new firmware. I use my Stor.e exclusively as a flac music player, and since I don't have it connected to a tv the small display is crucial for me to select tracks or disks. I have 300+ discs, so the Stor.e is an excellent cheap media player which I connect to my HIFI system via a DAC.
I thus had to change back to the Toshiba firmware to correct this problem. Seems like I would still have to use USB to download music to the Stor.e when I buy new CDs. What a pity.
Incidentally, the new Toshiba firmware is very much like the old firmware, in that it lacks the capability to switch on Samba. In the readme Toshiba states that the new firmware fixes a network problem, but I think that this is probably the smallest issue most users have with the Toshiba firmware.
So, my advice to anyone having video, control or other issues with the Toshiba firmware is to flash to the Noontec firmware to see if it resolves their issues. If it doesn't one can always revert to the official Toshiba firmware as I did.
You do this at your own risk though, if you brick your unit don't blame me...

Crystal Reports 2008 - Report Load error - Memory Leak Error?

We have a problem with Crystal Reports 2008 with .NET 2.0.

The problem is that during high amount of report producing, errors in eventlog pops up and the production of reports using 
Crystal Reports stops.

First, ensure you have the latest service pack / hot fix for your version of Crystal Reports, and that the client has the same updates as well. Fix Pack 2.4 is the current latest, and can be downloaded from our downloads section.
One of the errors is the Background Processing error, so have a look at the following article:

Folder name already exists error when activating feature

HI,
I am creating a document library and adding folders to it using elements.xml in VS 2012.
First time deployment of the item works fine, the folder is created. But further deployment or activation of feature from site features is throwing the error "Folder name already exists".
Below is the elements.xml of List Instance, which was modified to add the folders.

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you got “Folder name already exists error when activating feature”.
I had used the following code snippet to create a folder within a document library, it didn’t throw errors when reactive the feature.

Also, when you redeploy the project, it will give you a dialog which would promote to delete the existed list or not.
If you click the “Resove Automatically”, the visual studio would delete the existed list automatically, and create a new list.

Document Load Error

OAF newbie here.
I'm trying to extend the Quick Update page of the Supplier form, exact page is /oracle/apps/pos/supplier/webui/QuickUpdatePG. Here's what I did:
1. Copied all files/folders from $JAVA_TOP/oracle/apps/pos to C:\jdevR12_1_1\jdevhome\jdev\myclasses\oracle\apps\pos
2. Copied all files/folders from $POS_TOP/mds to C:\jdevR12_1_1\jdevhome\jdev\myprojects\oracle\apps\pos
3. Create new OA Workspace and OA Project - DBC should be correct, Application Short Name = SQLAP, Responsibility Key = PAYBLES_F (this is Payables Vision France in R12 Vision Instance)
4. Under Application Sources, I navigate to oracle.apps.pos -> supplier -> webui.
5. Right-clicked on QuickUpdatePG.xml then select Run.
An error message is displayed: Document load error: "jrad:flowLayout" is not a valid component. "flowLayout" is a valid component in "oa" namespace. Page is still spawned but with "oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: java.lang.NullPointerException"
I noticed that when I try to rebuild my project, I also encounter the same error.

Report Load Error

After running 30-40 Crystal Reports we get a 'Report Load' error on the .Load() command. At this point we cannot run any of our 8 reports created with Crystal Reports. To resolve the issue we restart IIS and then the reports load and run without problem.
Recently we upgraded our project from .NET 1.1x, VS2003, CR 9.X to .NET 2.0, VS2005, CR 10.2. This intranet web site runs under IIS 6 on WS 2003. Prior to the upgrade we did not see this behavior.
To create the report we send Crystal Rerports a dataset and then output the report to a PDF. Any ideas on how we can resolve this issue?

Ok lets try this:
Right click on the temp folder (where the .rpt filed are getting created at runtime) -> properties.
go to Security tab.
click on Add.
enter (with out "") "IIS_WPG" in Object name window.
Click on Locations.
Select the machine name in the tree.
Ok.
Click on "Check names".
OK.
Give full control to it. (For testing purpose please ignore any warning signs).
OK.
Also please include the ReportDocumentObject.Close(), ReportDocumentObject.Dispose() and GC.Collect() in your page_upload event.

Business Components Load Error

Hi.
I'm using JDeveloper 11.1.2.1.0 and I can see the following message in the Message log;
Business Components: Load error - (null)
Business Components: Load error.
Object: (null)
With a reference to the Model jpr file for the project.
The application runs ok despite this message, but I'm concerned there may be problems lurking. I'm guessing this may be a hangover from attempting to remove a View Object definition from the Model project - which itself seems quite problematic (running into caching problems etc).
So, does anybody:
a) know how to resolve this load error issue and / or remove the null object reference
b) know of any problems it may cause if it cannot be removed

Do you have a source control system (svn, git,...) you use with the application?
The Model,jpr file is corrupt which may cause trouble later. Right now everything looks working, but there might some display problems when you open e.g. the application module or VO.
Save the current (corrupt?) jpr file and try to restore it from the repository until you find one which loads without the problem. Once you have on select the project in the application navigator and click on refresh (ctrl-r). This should add missing content back again.

Application Loader error, how to submit app for approval

Firstly, here's my info:
1) App is for iPad and iPhone/iPod Touch
2) Build using Flash CS 5 (Windows), packaged using Air 2.6 using ADT.
3) Successfully build and tested my .ipa file.
4) I just got a Mac OSX (I'm new to Mac) for submitting to Apple for approval.
When I submit my app using the Application Loader:
Error is: "Application failed codesign verification. The signature was invalid, or it was not signed with an Apple submission cartificate"
(read that I need to rename my .ipa to .zip and submit that, but it still gave the error)
Forgive me if this has been answered before, but it's bits and pieces of tips all over.
And I don't understand why I need to manually hack files when Adobe claims Flash can develope apps for iOS.
- ok, yes Flash can develope iOS apps, but with that statement, don't we all presume we can also submit it to the App store?
I've spent months optimizing the app from PFI builds to now using AIR 2.6.
Bought all the devices to test on. Now that I'm ready to submit it to Apple, I'm hitting the wall again.
I've gone through lots of tips but none works for me.
Can someone give step by step instructions?

Ok, it was sweet while it lasted
Apple sent an email:
"Invalid Signature - Make sure you have signed your application with a distribution certificate, not an ad hoc certificate or a development certificate. Verify that the code signing settings in Xcode are correct at the target level (which override any values at the project level). Additionally, make sure the bundle you are uploading was built using a Release target in Xcode, not a Simulator target. If you are certain your code signing settings are correct, choose "Clean All" in Xcode, delete the "build" directory in the Finder, and rebuild your release target."
I'm sure I used the Distribution certs.
Since I'm using Flash and not Xcode, what are the possible problems?

Data Load Errors

Hi,
i'm using the following (its only a part) maxl to load data into my cube.
import database 'AuM_L0'.'AuM' data
from data_file 'G:\\Scripts\\backup\\export\\AuM_AuM_L0.txt'
on error write to 'G:\\Scripts\\backup\\log\\load_error_AuM_AuM_L0_779dr.log';
My problem is, if there is any load error, Essbase will not write this error information into the file load_error_AuM_AuM_L0_779dr.log'!
Is that a feature or a bug in my script?

you can get both log file as well as error file
after giving login credential in MaxL
turn on spool
spool on to 'G:\\Scripts\\backup\\log\\MaxLlog.log';
and
change last line ext to err
on error write to 'G:\\Scripts\\backup\\log\\load_error_AuM_AuM_L0_779dr.err';
and at last turn off spool
spool off;
hope it will work

InDesign crashing on save as file size passes 4GB; loading error 6, HELP!

I am working with some large files in InDesign. Today, about 5 or 6 times, when my INDD file passed 4.25GB it would crash. It would say that it was a loading error 6 or something like that. Multiple reports have been sent. Once it crashes, it becomes unable to open again. I have been making lots of copies, but I am still crashing.. Is there a known file size capacity for INDD? Am I reaching it and passing it? Is that why it is crashing?

Certainly, linking to placed images requires more work and certainly discipline, but it certainly seriously pays off in terms of potentially dramatically small .INDD files and flexibility in terms of editing the placed content.
Tell your client that their approach is really unworkable for the magnitude of the project and that Adobe recommends linking instead of embedding of placed imagery.

Hi,
delta load is failure and getting below errors how to resolve and where to check the IM1907693 nos.
RSMO: data load error in BWP                        IM1907693
SXMB_moni: XML Messages error in GXP       IM1907695
DB02: tablespace reached 97% in PRD            IM1907696
SM13: update error in PRD                              IM1907698
SM37: job cancelled "class-A" in PRD             IM1907706
Pls let me know the valuable inputs.

some brief about your errors.....
RSMO-- as said above, please go to DETAILS tab and find, whether the extraction is done or not???
             if its green then the extraction is completed and you have to go to PROCESSING dropdown
             menu and browse that menu for more details or if the extraction tab is RED, then you have
             some problem in extraction, so go to sourcesytem from there itself and check about the job.
SM37 -- this is where you check jobs in any source system
DB02 --- this relates to basis, suppose if the application servers donot have enough space then these
            type of issues will araise, so if you contact BASIS team, then they will solve this type of
            problems
regarding the IMnumbers..
IM--   nothing but Incident Management in other words, these are called tickets... we raise these,
        whenever we are unable to solve these type of problems or when we have no authorizations to solve
        these issues, we have a seperate team to solve these type of issues.
        and IM9457238 like these are the ticket numbers.
so every Project will have different tools to access these type of tickets.Ex- PEREGRIN, REMEDY, CLARIFY, MERCURY etc... to access these type of tickets
so we donot know which type of tool you are using, so access that tool and input your IM number and dwelve into that issue....

Load error - JDeveloper doesn't load Entity objects

Hi, I'm using JDeveloper 10.1.3.3.0 on WinXP. When I try to browse through files in specific application, I get the following error:
"Load error.
Object: com.test.automaticord.ambulance.OrderItemsView.Name
Project: C:\JDeveloper\jdev\mywork\OrderProject\Model\Model.jpr
Entity Attribute for this View Attribute cannot be found.
com.test.automaticord.MArticles.Name
com.test.automaticord.ambulance.OrderItemsView.Name
Exception: oracle.jbo.dt.objects.JboException."
These files are on disk, right on the place JDeveloper cannot find them. When i restart JDeveloper, depending on my portion of luck, the same thing works without problems.It is becoming really annoying.
Can someone please demistify this to me?

When using JDeveloper, the integrated WLS and ADF version are tied to the JDeveloper version - you cannot upgrade individual bits and bobs like that. There is no problem, by the way, having multiple versions of JDeveloper installed at the same time. I currently have 11.1.1.3 and 11.1.1.4 installed (different directories, of course) with no issues. In fact, I used to have many, many more releases installed, but I decided to clean up ;)
