Project NEgative balance (GI still can be posted even budget 0) - Urgent

Dear SAP guru,
We got a problem with our AVAC (availability check) and Budget Profile (BDG5)for Project system and Investment Management. It happens when we will post GI (reservation). Seems that the AVAC is not blocking the GI , when the available budget is 0.
The scenario is :
Project : NEW-DTCRW101
Our original budget is : RM 16000 (Ringgit Malaysia)
Actual : RM 16000
Try to post GI (RM 1000). It is successfully posted even available budget 0. As a result our available budget is RM -1000. (negative balance)

Thx for your reply. We use BDG5 profile with AVAC active. Tolerance limit 100% and put ++ (all activity group). However, the AVAC still cannot block when we will create reservation and post GI. Please help.

I don't want to post A/R invoice, when negative stock inventory of the item.
Could anyone find out the solution for me.
Already set the below settings in the SAP:
1) item master data - inventory data - tick Manage inventory by warehouse
2) System initialization - Document setting - general - tick block negative inventory by Item stetting
Still I can post the A/R invoice, when no stock ( It's allow negative stock inventory)
Using : SAP B1 ver 9.0 PL 10.

In order to block negative inventory for each warehouse, the following settings should be made:
1. Go to Administration -> System Initialization -> Document Settings -> General Tab, make sure 'Block Negative Inventory' is checked.
2. Go to Item Master Data -> Inventory tab, make sure 'Manage Inventory by Warehouse' is checked.

I have changed my Thgunderbird password but still can't post from one of my mailboxes.

I recently had to change my BT password for one of my email addresses due to someone sending spam from that address. I followed the instructions for removing the old password from Thunderbird, (here: https://kb.wisc.edu/page.php?id=19006) but it didn't give me the option to add the new one.
All my other mailboxes are collecting and sending just fine, but that particular mailbox still collects mail but I can't send from it. I'm pretty sure its because it doesn't have the correct password. I haven't changed any other settings.
When I check my saved passowrds (tools / options / saved passwords / show passwords) the password for that mailbox is missing. I don't seem to be able to find any 'enter password' instruction anywhere. Please, can anyone tell me... How do I get the mailbox to ask me for a new password?

Thunderbird treats incoming and outgoing as two separate tasks. Did you also delete the password for your outgoing ("SMTP") settings?

If Thunderbird doesn't know a password for the smtp connection, it should ask you for one when you try to send. Since it hasn't asked, it seems likely you haven't delete the password associated with an smtp server.

Wty issue - Can't Posted due to error Action T043 Post version IV to FI

log not found (in memory ) and also Action T043 POst version IV to FI not carried out as there was an error in a previous version.

After a lot of searching I finally found the solution to my problem. I had to enable IOMMU in the BIOS on my motherboard (Gigabyte 970A-D3).

As an aside, I'm not really sure why when IOMMU is disabled, 32-bit kernels work, but 64-bit kernels don't. I'm guessing IOMMU support is disabled in 32-bit kernels while it is enabled in 64-bit kernels. Or, it is at least handled differently.

BP Negative Balance against Deliveries with out the Drill Down option...

There is a BP balance against Deliveries which is a negative balance. It does not give the option to drill down. when the entries were checked, I can't find a same balance posted under a Return or a Delivery. Any thoughts. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply, how ever the issue arised after creating two Sales return documents(value £39.73), against one return a AR Credit memo was created which resulted in a balance in the Delivery as -38.21 and when tring to drill down an error was coming up (Internal error 6004 occured message131-183) and did not allow a drilling against the balance. But after cancelling the remaining Return the drilling option dissapeared leaving the negative balance of 38.21. No document can be identified agreeing to the same balance.

Company is setup to not allow negative inventory, but one of my inventory accounts shows a negative balance. Ideas on how this could happen?

Do you read the negative amount from G/L report or from Inventory Audit report? If you manage the item cost per company, not per warehouse, there is a possibility that your inventory amount for certain warehouse will be minus. But, if you manage the item cost per warehouse, shouldn't possible your inventory amount is minus.
Next thing to do is, you should check using query to JDT1 table, and check whether exist a journal entry transaction which post directly to your inventory account. If exist, no wonder if your inventory account is minus, since the journal entry transaction won't update the item cost for particular item. You should consider to amend your sp notification transaction to block such thing happened in the future.
If you need any correction regarding item cost, you should use inventory revaluation module instead of creating a journal entry directly to inventory account. Your G/L and your inventory ledger won't tied up. Hope this can help.

AP Negative Balance

Hi Experts,
I ahve a client who now wants to change the Negative Balance in the AP Accounts. They went live earlier this year and have entries in the System already.
I see that the 'Display Credit Balance with a negative sign' ois ticked and greyed out. How can I get this AP accounts not to display as negative?

This initial setting might not be changeable as soon as you posted any transactions. You need to create a new database to solve the problem.

I have it but not horribly. I have resigned myself to wait until the mad rush for the iPad2 is over and see how they resolve the issue. Reminds me of the iPhone4 camera problem with white balance. Eventually they solved it. At that point I took mine (iPhone) back (several months later)and they still replaced it without questions. I am suspecting they will do the same with the iPads.

After deleting .plist items, STILL can't find my old email

I just updated to 10.5.6
Had some problems w/Mail (ie not sending, receiving or quitting) I solved that problem by following forum suggestions to remove the .plist items in my Mail folder.
But I still can't see any of my "pre-update" emails that were sitting in my INBOX or SENT box, nor any emails in my ON MY MAC mailboxes.
Can anyone help?

Although your Mail may now work, with such a leap in versions you should study the following now to be certain of all conversion results, and possible need to remove other leftover files, and is pasted from other posts in other topics:
Lots of issues arose when people upgraded from 10.3 to 10.4 and Mail 2.x, but the issues are nearly the same if upgrading from 10.3 to 10.5, or even from an earlier version.
For background read the info in the topic at the link below, which while written about conversion from 10.3 to 10.4, would also structurally apply to a conversion from 10.3 to 10.5, even if using 10.4 in between. Sadly, it would appear the conversion process has not been strengthened, although the real fault lies with the condition of the mailboxes prior to Upgrade.

In this situation the messages are not lost, but properly converting them for use in Mail 3.0 (or first in Mail 2.0) can be a detailed and tedious project. The best thing would be to have used Rebuild on every mailbox prior to the Upgrade. Of course I recognize it may be too late for that now, so the "devil is in the details"!
There is an issue often when going directly from 10.3.9 and Mail 1.3.11 related to conversion of the data in the mbox file into xxxx.emlx files in the Messages folder that Mail 3.x uses. The Messages folder came into use with 10.4.
An important comparison to make, after you know where to look in the Finder, is to compare the size of the mbox file in any xxxx.mbox folder to that of the Messages folder in the same mailbox. The reason to do this is check whether all messages that were in the mbox when the Upgrade was done were converted properly.
There can be issues if you ran a still earlier version of Mail, and other leftover files might then be present which could be problematic.
Please do not hesitate to ask any and all questions you need to ask to get comfortable with all you may need to do, depending on the number of large and complex mailboxes you had prior to the Upgrade.

Negative Balance in Petty Cash General Ledger

Dear Experts,
There is cash journal (USD-Currency), Posting are there from 2008 onwards and as of now the balance it is showing local currency (PKR) in Negative balance and below is the example of same.
Our user send us like : As per trial balance 1110A, Cash in hand GL 11100064 showing negative
balance amounting Rs. 65,034.34/- where as there is positive balance USD
2,296/- in subledger of petty cash. i believe this might be Forex
revaluation impact G.L is 11315000 (Bank Foreign Currency Revaluation)
How could we link relevant entries to kncok off so that we could get
positive balance in PKR Currency. which is physically available in
Foreign currency petty cash.
Can any body please explain me how to rectify the negative balance to rectify in the FBL3N.

Hi,
Check Account balance window of the the Cash Account G\L and the column Cumulative Balance. When the cumulative balance is negative, the Cash Account have gone below zero.
If you want only those specific days, then you have to query using the SQL tables.

The user did not transfer the budget from one year to the other through the KOCO. This procedure was performed in the middle of this year. During this period, some orders that were closed were negative. What can be done to the orders that were closed with a negative balance?
The balance transfers for transactions conducted KOCO (and KOCF) and take effect for orders closed?
What can be done to adjust these commands end with a negative balance? If there is any solution, is it a viable approach?
I can find any sap notes. I still search...

Hi Ajay! No, in this case, the balance finish negative because the KOCO was not executed and the IO was close.
We executed last month the KOCO transaction.
What can we do to correct the negative balance to these IOs closed in this period?

For an unknown reason after a payment I had negative balance. so I quickly added money when i saw this. Now it is all right, but i can't buy something I need. Will this error affect my account for a while ?
