Project processing : Version of Enhancement packages

Hello,
I want to know which enhancement package should be installed to get the 'project processing' objects. The issue is EhP2 needs a higher NW stack and hence presents a hurdle. Instead if the PP objects are available with EhP1, which has a lower NW-support pack requirement, there would be lesser worries.

    Yes but that is the Business Suite, and according to [this|SAP Enhancement Package 2 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0], the SAP NW 7.0 Enhancement Package 2 should be availabel now. So hopefully we will get the a developper and/or trial version soon ?

  • Last projects processed in Project Builder

    I found these communication which our industry also required this enhancement in project system and Mr.Rakesh Pradhan haven't gave us in full details information. Can I request both of you guys to provide more detail information to us as well. So that we can ful fill these requirement here as well ,-

    We all know that the last five projects processed using the project builder will be stored in the worklist of the project builder. Currently this is a standard SAP functionality where the processed projects are stored under the userID
    My question:
    1. Is there a way to increase the number of projects in that list?
    2. Where these informations are stored? I know that this is userID specific but dont know where.

    We can increase the number of Projects last processed from 5 up to 20. This can be done through enhancement Package-3, Project Systems enhancements. Please refer the document available in SAP service market place.

    Hi Kannika,
    The enhancement package is for ECC and not for 4.7.
    There is another way to increase the number of last projects processed in the transaction CJ20N using ABAP program modification.
    In the functional module  CNPB_W_UPDATE_HISTORY, line number 109 you have to increase the index from 6 to what ever number you want. I think it can go upto 20 projects.
    Beware!!!!!!!!!   This is standard SAP program modification.

  • Deployment error in Enhancement package Galaxy

    I am trying to do Netweaver BPM end-to end process implementation  example. i followed all the steps as in the link

    Software Component with the name BPEM-CONTENT has to contain these several Development Components:

    You can check this using again NWA - > System Information -> Go to tab u201CComponents infou201D and when you select the record of the Software Component u201CBPEM-CONTENTu201D.
    If these components are available then the problem most probably is that your SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio (version for EHP1 for SAP NetWeaver CE 7.1) is trying to deploy to a server different from EHP1 for SAP NetWeaver CE 7.1 server.
    In order to fix this problem you have to go to SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio (EHP1 for SAP NetWeaver CE 7.1) -> Window -> Preferences -> SAP AS Java (click on this node) and to make sure that server installation of the EHP1 for SAP NetWeaver CE 7.1 is the default System Instance/Numbers. This has to be the same server where you found the u201CBPEM-u201C Software components.
    Regarding the role problem you have to make sure that you are searching correctly in the NWA User Management because the software components containing this role is within the list with components mentioned by you as deployed and available on the engine. If you open the step-by-step guide on step 183, you have to make sure that you are executing the search using the search criteria u201Croleu201D (there are other search criteriau2019s: u201Cuseru201D, u201Cgroupu201D and u201Cactionu201D but you have to be looking for "role". The search criteria u201Cuseru201D is the default one when you open the UME and if you are using it, this could cause the problem).
    Please also make sure that you type exactly BPEM because this will find the proper role with name: u201Cpcd:portal_content/com.sap.pct/every_user/com.sap.bpem/com.sap.bpem.roles/com.sap.bpem.Enduseru201D and description u201CBPEM End Useru201D.

  • ECC Systems sync up with different enhancement package lvls

    Dear Experts,
    I am facing this problem which I am not so sure how to solve:
    Our project is having 2 releases. Release 1 is going live soon with ECC enhancement pack3. Release 2 is still under development with ECC enhancement pack4. Now the functional guys want to do some sync up between the two releases. They want us to move some new changes from release1 to release2. I do not think I can simply do the transport from R1 system to R2 system as they are at different enh pack levels.
    Is there any good way to do the system sync up? Please advise.
    It would be good if there is any SAP doc that I can refer to.

    i think you can do the transport as enhancement package has nothing to do with your transport.
    the objects will get correctly transported to the respective packages.
    generally sap does not do any major changes in its system.
    so we can still use the existing data from 4.7 version in our new ecc 6.0.
    sap never touches the existing things even when newer versions are being launched.

    The option of installing Enhancement Packages in an ERP 6.0 system is only offered in the Solution Manager Maintenance Optimizer if the systems assigned to the process are assigned to the product version ERP 6.0 or ERP 2005 in the Solution Manager system administration (transaction SMSY).   The product version ECC 6.0 must not be used for the installation of Enhancement Packages. The attached Note 1022072 describes step by step how to change a product version assigned to a system.

    We have install the Enhancement Package 4 in the server ECC 6.0 with EHP3.
    But, before we need install the Enhancement Package 1 in SAP NetWeaver 7.0
    The actual Kernel is releae 700 level 185.
    We download the kernel 701 for Windows 64 unicode with SQL, and we install in the system, when we start sap the part java don't started the process sapcpe.exe "could not be started" .
    We have tried with the kernel 15 and 23 of release 701, but this don't ok.
    We can connect to the part ABA and JAVA, but the Kernel isn't update, and in the console of sap the process sapcpe.exe is in red with the message could not be started"

    Hello,
    Because when we import the packages of ECC 6.0 EPH4, the system return the error:
    "OCS package SAPK-701DHINSAPBASIS requires at least Kernel Release 701 with patch number
    0000"
    And the package SAPK-701DHINSAPBASIS is a prerequisite for import the package with the release 604 (ehp4).
    The package that we need import is:

  • Eventing in Visual Composer 7.1 Enhancement Package 1

    We are running Enhancment Package 1 on 7.1 and the release note says that client side event is supported.  However I build 2 iViews one with Data Entry text iput and and a signal out and the the sencond one with a signal in and a text field.  I cannot get what I type in to the first iView to pass to the second.  Is there a simple example that illustrates that eventing is working in this release.

    I used the non WEB Dynpro event tested with the following results.
    For an iView that I had build with Visual Composer 7.0 and converted using the CE 7.1.1 converter tool I now see the following. In this case the evnt had the prefix urn: on it

    This same iView on Visual Composer 7.0 delivered the following message using the tool in EP 7.0
    10:52:46 : urn:com.osisoft.pct.RtPM, AdhocTags, <Params><param name="Paramname" value="%5C%5Cgsrtwebparts%5Ccdt158"/></Params>, undefined
    For an iView that I created new with Visual Composer 7.1.1 and tried to use the same tool the tool did not catch the event and nothing was displayed in the log when the event name had urn: on it.
    I rebuilt and removed the urn: and now the tool picked up the event with the following log.
    11:12:29 : urn:com.osisoft.pct.RtPM, AdhocTags, %3CParamsversion%3D%223%22%3E%3CRowParamname%3D%22%5C%5Cgsrtwebparts%5Ccdt158%22%2F%3E%3C%2FParams%3E, undefined
    The XML has changed and the use of urn: is inconsistent between versions.

    The Web Dynpro version you suggest did not show anything so that is why I tried the non-WebDynpro.

  • Post Processing Steps after Support Package Stack Application

    I'm curious if anyone has any guidelines for post processing steps (or pre-processing) when applying Support Package Stacks to their Development Infrastructure (Developmend Workplace and the Central NWDI Server).  We have just upgraded a couple of developers local engines and developer studio to SP stack 19 from SP stack 14 and are experiencing some problems.  We also applied the J2EE stack and appropriate SCA files to the NWDI server.
    After the support packs it looks like our DTR files are gone (when reimporting configuration via Developer Studio the SC's are there but there are no DC's inside of them).  Additionally, it looks like we have to manually reimport the newest versions of SAP_BUILDT, SAP_JTECHS, and SAP-JEE.  Another thing is that old Local Web Dynpro DC's are now complaining about class path problems and different versions of files.  We followed the documentation for applying SP19 exactly as the documentation says for a Java Development Usage type.  Is there a checklist or something that anyone has for steps to perform after the application of the support packs?

    I think I'm missing something.  Now I see the code and DC's inside the DTR.  However, when I try to import into NWDS no DC's come in (the software components exist, but no DC's in them).  Additionally, the CBS web ui reports that my software components do not contain any DC's even though I see them in the DTR.  What things can I look at to determine what I'm missing here?
    Thought I'd add some more info..after applying the support packs, we imported the new SAPBUILD, SAP_JTECH, and SAP_jee SCA'S into our track as we required some functionality from the newer build SCA.  We also reimported our old archives back into the system by manually checking them in assuming this would fix the problem with us not seeing the source in the NWDS or the DTR.  After the import, the CBS no longer sees our custom DC's, but the DTR does (both in active and inactive ws).  When importing the dev configuration into the NWDS our custom DC's no longer appear, but SAP's standard SCA's do.

  • PI 7.1 Enhancement package?

    Hi Guys,
    We have SOAP-SOAP scenario in PI 7.1 and we need to use content based routing with the integrated configurartion. I saw in some blogs that we can do content routing with integrated configuration only with PI 7.1 Enhancement package 1.
    I want to know whether this version is released or do we need to download the EHP-1 for 7.1? any help or suggestions would be appreciated

    Hi Raj,
    When any interface is not shown, it means its not added to that bussines system.You can add a namespace and write a Xpath to identify ur field.
    For example:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <ns0:MT_Employee xmlns:ns0="com.sap:track1">
       <ID/>
    </ns0:MT_Employee>
    ns0:com.sap:track1
    Xpath Expression:ns0\Employee\ID
    and give the condition to select on the Right Operand.
    It should work this way.

    Hi Partson,
    It is needed to connect this system with solution manager and create stack.xml using
    maintanance optimizer. The main aim of this is to let you know what usage types/ functionalities are to be
    selected from stack.xml.
    It is also needed to download all the required support packs/ addons using maintanance optimizer.
    If you have DVDs containing the same product that matches with stack.xml, you can provide them.
    But the safest way is is to give all the tasks to solution manager , It will create , and download neccesary sps, addons to your
    download basket.

  • Enhancement Package for Business Client

    Hello,
    I want to run Business Client in a EPR 6.0 demo system, and I would like to know which software component I need to upgrade. Basically, which file (from all enhancement package files) should I install?
    I'm don't want to install all since its a demo system, and i don't have a lot of time for this.

    SAP will deliver new functionality through versions of an SAP EhP for ERP. This can be installed on top of ERP 2005.Once you install the software component from EhP it will change the release number. Eg for ERP 6 component SAP_APPL 600 , after EhP2 it will will be SAP_APPL 602

  • Enhancement Package Installation option missing

    Hi,
    I've installed the latest suport package stack in a SAP ERP 6.0 system, and now I need to upgrade it to Eph4.
    When I go to mopz and create a new transaction, in step 2 "Select Files" on "Calculate download files automatically" window, normally two options appear "Maintenace" and " Enhancement Package Installation", but now None appear!!!
    I've confirmed that product version is correct, ERP 6.0 not ECC 6.0. I've also installed the latest ST (SAPKITL429).
    Can you help please

    My SSM User is associated with the client S-user in AISUSER. And that S-user has full athorization in the marketplace, is the Super Admin. I Have an RFC for each client, because my SSM is for VARs, so is configured in an multiclient way.
    I can download, files using mopz, but only manually, because no option appear in the automatic window.
    I think is something with the latest SPs, but I've aplient all recent notes, after SP19 and nothing.. oss message is already open, I'll give feedback.
