Project System Datasource for Tendering process

Hi ,
My client wants to see some reports based on contracts/tenders like when contract was floated and when it was closed .
Can you please guide me to datasource from where I can get this information.

SBIW for Porject Systems datasources for 0PS_C02

I am looking for an explanation how to configure the objects under the following path
SBIW
Settings for Application-Specific DataSources (PI)
Project System
Project System Dates,Durations,and Floats in the BW
Installing business content for this cube has been fairly easy up until this step and I have been unable to find clear instructions for what, when, how, or why this is done. Any assistance or identification of documentation would be greatly appreciated. I have the D12 Project System - Dates documentation guides for all releases already.

The documentation I found on BWEXPERTS online and best practices site states:
For these extractors [0PS_DAT_*], you need to go to BW Customizing (SBIW) ...... to describe the settings, duration and buffer. This has two steps:
1) Create new combinations of the InfoObjects Value type etc
2) Choose which date field of an R/3 master table is built through a given characteristic vector in BW.
I have been unable to find an explanation for these two steps which include 8 steps in config in SBIW. I don't understand whether or not i need to perform some or all steps and would like to find something that explains in detail what is the result of performing and using this config.
Let me add that we are on SAP 4.7 (620) with BW 3.1 currently have installed support pack stack including 19 - 23 in our dev box where I have been testing these objects.

B1if - #sender system in for each processing loop

Hi all,
I am creating a scenario where I use the for each processing loop.
Everything works fine but when I want to use the #Sender system in various steps (call B1 atom eg), I get an error saying the #Sender system is empty.
Do I need to do something to get it populated inside the for each loop?

Hi Joeri,
I have done a test and I have the same problem you are having the system is empty when I use the #Sender System in a B1 call inside a for each. If I use a fix system id then it works fine.

Project System Report for AP and AR

Hi,
Working on a process where man hour, equipment cost, AR and AP should be captured in a PS WBS element. Posting for man hrs and equipments are through service order and AP/AR are through FI posting. Throught controlling view we can see that cost is capturing and most of the standard reports are working except S_ALR_87100191, S_ALR_87013573 , S_ALR_87013575 and S_ALR_87013574 - Expenses , where Receipt and Expenses are most important. Is there seperate settings needs to be done in CO or PS area to make this report work...??. I always get error "
No costs, revenues or finances were selected
Message no. OK602"

In COR3 tcode after we enter Process order as input, in that screen we can see in 3rd row, System Status and User Status,
Where all these system status and User Status are stored,
How we will get these msgs?

Now i have verified in productin box, i am getting more than one STATUS in JEST for OBJNR , with this value i am getting more than one values, but here i am facing again one more issue:
in T02JT table i am getting some set of status(in table i am getting 10 values) but when i have verifed in COR3 tcode for that particuler order i am able to see only 8 system status...what about remain 2 ?
in T02JT table i tried all options as i put X for status with out X, i tried all options..
Please help me on this...
One more this is i need User Status's also...? how we can will get these values also..

Project System structure for Telecom domain

Hi all of you,
Our client is in to telecom engineering services and have number of sites to develop and support technically. Currently, they are splitting up their projects according to regions and Circles then in to number of sites. The regions and the circles are not dependent on the projects since they have unique regions and circles. They require to take reports at project: region: circle level and region, circle reporting across the projects. Do we have this facility like region/ circle assignment to the WBS elements? If yes, give me some stuff to resolve.

Hi Ramki,
For every WBS, under Assignment TAB there are fields called Location and Functional Location. You can try using the same for Region / Circle for your projects to fetch the data and call the same in Reporting. But ensure that you don't have any actual data entry already for those fields Location & Func. location.
Else, you can create user fields for Circle / Region and call the same in Reporting.

Project Systems - Inter company stock transport orders

We are implementing SAP Project Systems module for our client as part of ECC 6.0 global roll out and we are looking for a solution to meet the with following business scenario:
The sales company (CC : US01) receives a purchase order for large project from an external customer. The sales company creates a sales order in SAP with delivering plant that belongs to another legal entity ( CC : US02 and plant : USP2) that has the main engg.facility . Two projects ( WBS elements ) are created for the sales company and engg.company . WBS element 1 element is used to drive milestone billing for the external customer and WBS2 element is created to post revenues and costs for the main engg.company
( CC :US02). The main engg.company plant ( USP2) has to procure sub structures from another legal entity in the company ( CC :US03 and plant :USP3) . We are creating an inter company stock transport order from USP2 ( main engg.company ) on plant USP3. In standard SAP , the stock transport order carries WBS2 that belongs to purchasing plant. But the business requirement is to have their own WBS element for USP3 plant to capture costs and revenues. What's the best of way of meeting the above business requirement either through standard SAP configuraion or some user exists with manual process.
I'd appreciate any suggestions or ideas from the experts !

Is there a BADI to call custom defined fields in Project Systems (PS)
The business process is as under:
SRM MDM product catalog is called from PS applcation in ECC using transaction code CJ20N.
Standard fields like description, qty, price etc are displayed and transfered to the PS application.
The requirement is in addition to above mentioned fields, need to display
custom defined (CUST_FIELD1 to CUST_FIELD5) fields and subsequently to be transfered to the PS application.
Pls provide help or inputs.

Source System Conversion in Remote Process Chain

Hi all!
I' working with BI7 SP12 and facing the following problem:
<b>There is no source system conversion for Remote Process Chains, when transporting Process Chains with Remote Process Chains from DEV to QA.</b>
First the following warning appears:
DEV-Destination of Remote Process Chain does not exist on QA-System.
==> The is correct because the DEV-Destination should have been converted to QA-Destination.
Then the following error appears:
Process Chain with the Remote Process Chain was not succesfully checked.
<b>All source system conversion tables are maintained correctly!</b>
The source system conversion works for example for InfoPackages correctly.
But for Remote Process Chain there is neither source system conversion for the Destination nor for Callback Destination. Both should be converted.
Do I have to do it manually??
Or do I have to create the DEV-Destination in SM59 on the QA-System??
==> We want to avoid this...

Please note:
When I create the DEV-Destination in SM59 on the QA-System,
the transport gets no warnings and no errors...
But there is still no conversion of the source systems for the Destination and the Callback Destination of the Remote Process Chain to QA-Destinations...
So, i think:
There is no automatic source system conversion of Remote Process Chains and I have to adjust it manually in the QA-System...
