Project System - Project execution ;Mandatory setting CJ30 & CJ32

Hi,
Pl help & guide how to put mandatory settings for PS -Capital Project execution with CJ30 (Budget assignment) & CJ32 (Budget Release), at present in our Project Systems mapped without CJ30 & CJ32, bcos if the Project & Network are released, the project is executed without any problem. But i would like to have a solution or a guidance from u that to restrict the project execution without CJ30 & CJ32

To reduce execution time of CJ30,CJ32,CJ36,CJ35,CJ40

Dear experts,
We are having about 500 WBS under one Project definition ,
when ever we try to allot budget in CJ30, Release budget in CJ32, give supplement , withdraw amount from any of the WBS it takes lot of time ( around 2-3 hrs for each ).
please help us out , please also let us know if any work around is available

Urgent - Business Object for Original Budget in Project Systems

Hi,
I am working on a workflow for original budget release in Project Systems.The transactions used are CJ30 (Original budget creation) CJ32( Budget release).
I have to send a workitem fo release the original budget for a user. But I am not able to find out any business object relevant to Budget.
Can any one helo me in this...????

Change Table Fields in "Costing" in with Project System (PPM 5.0)

Dear Gurus;
I need to know, how can I change fields in "Costing" with Project System (Project Management in tab name "Accounting").
The integration works well, but I need to view the values of: Actual, Plan and Commitment.
In the Standard way, just only can see the Plan (with the colum "Costs").
Please, help.

Hi Mariano
The particular screen you are referring to will only show the planning on Easy Cost Planning due to the labour costs and revenues planned on the cProject. You can use the services&deatil on the assignment - click on the WBS assigned to get the detailed list of services for the assigned WBS element. You can then click on Detail Data to get detailed data on the assigned WBS element. If you want a report with all the data, best use the BW cubes for that to combine cP and PS data.

 I have to do achieve following four tasks for four integration scenarios :
 1. Create a Project in Project System.
 2. Create a Network in Project System.
 3. Create an Activity in Project System.
 4. Update an Activity on Project System.
I want to know the following :
 1. Which BAPIs to use?
 2. How to import these BAPIs in my integration repository.?

Go to transaction BAPI in R/3
1. Create a Project in Project System.
Project System -> Project Definition -> CreateFromData -> FM: BAPI_PROJECTDEF_CREATE
2. Create a Network in Project System.
Project System -> Network -> Maintain -> FM: BAPI_NETWORK_MAINTAIN
3. Create an Activity in Project System.
Project System -> Network -> Maintain -> FM: BAPI_NETWORK_MAINTAIN, this has activity create
4. Update an Activity on Project System.
Project System -> Network -> Maintain -> FM: BAPI_NETWORK_MAINTAIN, this has activity update
I want to know the following :
1. Which BAPIs to use?

2. How to import these BAPIs in my integration repository.?
Double click on your SWCV, click the radio button import RFC and IDoc interfaces from SAP Systems permitted, then enter your R/3 System ID and client number. Save and activate. Then you will see new item under the SWCV

Right click on Imported Objects and in the pop up mention R/3 system host, system number, userid and password.

Str Loc Mandatory Setting for Project System PR

Hi
How can i make mandatory setting for a PR getting generated by project system thro the trans CJ20N.
Since its not an mandatory field the PR s from project based are not hv str loc in PR.
Also we are not able to edit the same. All the fileds are in PR in ME52N in grey colour whr the PR s from project based.

if your material is not inventory managed, then you cannot have a storage location in the PR.
If it is inventory managed, then you can set the defautl storage location in material master MRP view field Storage location EP

PS: Setting Project Profile as a mandatory field for Project Definition

Hi,
I would like to know how to set Project Profile as a mandatory field for Project Definition (CJ20N or CJ01). I tried to look for controls at OPUK config but the Project Profile is not available for definition - either mandatory, optional, suppressed, etc. Would appreciate if you can share your expertise on this.

Hi,
I would like to know how to include some additonal fields in OPUK/OPUJ. We have defined some .INCLUDE component / fields to SAP standard table PRPS/PROJ. We want those fields to also appear in OPUK/OPUJ so that we could also defined their characteristics - whether input, mandatory, suppressed, etc.

Can different working calendars be set and used in Project system

Actually we are going through implementation of SAP Project system, i would like to ask whether there is an option in SAP PS to set different working/factory calendars and use them for individual activity like Primavera. Because at some places there is 5 days working and at places 6 says working. Also holidays are different for different people/places. A uniform calendar for all activities can spoil the schedule of project in regard of planned finish dates when one enters a certain duration.
Kindly clarify this for me

Set WBS status in Project System from CRM Status

Hi Gurus
I am figuring out a solution for how to influence WBS element status in Project Systems in ECC from the campaign/Marketing plan status in CRM. Has anyone done it before or is there any BADI for it.

Hello Chandrasai,
For Query - 1: Follow the following steps:
(1) Goto T.code SPRO --> IMG Menu --> Project System --> Simulation --> Stipulate Version Keys for Simulation (T.code OPUS). Over here create version keys as per your requirement. Do not Flag for inactive input template.
(If you tick the input mask to inactive, then no version numbers can be created in this number range.) You can cancel this indicator.
(2) Goto T.code SPRO --> IMG Menu --> Project System --> Simulation --> Stipulate Simulation Version.
(3) Project Version are called Screen Shots of Operative Projects and not simulation version. Simulation version are usually used for having different Planned version of one project before the execution starts.
(4) Now Goto T.code CJV1. Enter Simulation version key, Project Definition, Project Profile.
(5) Choose continue. You would see project planning board enter/edit the data and save the simulation version.
For Query - 2: Follow the following steps:
You need to manually clear the plan cost defined in CJ40. There is no option to delete the plan cost at one go.
For Query - 3: Follow the following steps:
(1) Goto T.code CNS41. Enter the Project Definition and Execute or F8
(2)Choose Fields or F5 and select "Project Cost Schedule" and "Budget" or any required fields.

How to create the Custom project System as Web Project

I have created a custom project system using this walkthrough. But
this walk through is targeting Visual C# project system. I need to create the Custom project system as Web project and set the start up page as index.html file. How can I achieve this?
Note:
I have got the Custom project system sample from VS2013 SDK samples(https://mpfproj12.codeplex.com/).
But it demonstrate the Custom console applications only.

So you didn't even follow this walkthrough yet? If you did, how did you do it?
I failed to create such a web project system because I finally messed up my VS experimental instance. But it's possible to create a custom web project system, by following this walkthrough. Someone else has successfully made it, check this
link.
The difference is that you have to use web project type instead of the console application project type. You could copy a web project's .csproj file into the VSPackage project and rename it to xxx.myproj. There's an error in the walkthrough that the AssemblyInfo.cs
file should be put into Properties folder and set the "Build Action" property to Content, "Include in VSIX" to true.

WBS Elements not getting created in ECC Project System from CRM 7.0

Dear all,
We are trying to integrate SAP CRM 7.0 with SAP ECC-PS module. The objective is to bring in the marketing plan and elements data from the CRM system, and to create the corresponding WBS in project system. We have done most of the configuration as recommended by SAP in both the systems, and we see that the BDOCS are getting generated and sent to the ECC system. The following steps have been successfully completed:
1.       Set up the RFC connections between the two systems
2.       Selected the connection type as Middleware in CRM system.
3.       Installed the cProject Add on in CRM box.
4.       Created a project scenario (with project and network profiles) in the PS system and assigned the same in the CRM system.
5.       The Project Scenario in PS config has the same name as the Project Type in CRM config.
6.       Created and released the campaign ids being created in the CRM system.
As already mentioned, we can see that the BDOCS are coming to the ECC system and are getting stored in BDOC_TRACK table. However the issue is that the corresponding WBS elements are not getting generated in the ECC system. Is there anything that that we are missing in the ECC box which would trigger the WBS element creation?
Request you all to share your inputs which would be immensely beneficial for us in achieving this integration.

We too are facing this issue.. if you have resolved the issue could you please let us know the solution ?
Some inputs related to our system,
We have upgrade from CRM 4.0 to CRM 7.0 SP07 and R/3 backend system is on 4.7 SP27, earlier we have completed the upgrade on sandbox without any issues which was upgrade to CRM 7.0 SP04 but with SP07 we are facing the problem of WBS Element not getting created in R/3.
