  • Need some project titles that can be done in java servlets and jsp or ejb

I am final year cs engg student. I have completed course in java,j2ee. I have done the library management project in servlet. I need some project titles for my final year project. My interests includes, networking, desktop applications.

I'm not sure how to help other than to advise you will probably have the best success with something that interests you personally. You mention desktop applications and networking. Perhaps start with something Swing (or JavaFX) and perhaps use that to monitor a network, detect intrusions, dynamically load balance, etc. Really, it's whatever will stimulate you through a long project. If you have an idea in mind, but are having difficulties with how to come up with a spiffy title, then post more detail, and we can try and help.

  • Project Management in J2EE-Development

Hi all, unfortunatley there is no forum for project management issues, so maybe I will bother some of you with non-technical questions:
Is there any learning material e.g. books, forums, newsgroups, tutorials related to the topic of project managment in J2EE-Development? I'm particularly interessted in questions like:
    - Team organisation. Function-oriented or component-oriented?
    - Development Process. Is there anything like a RUP customised for J2EE-Projects? Mandatory roles and artifacts you need in any project?
    - Effort estimations. Has anyone ever heard about experiences with formal estimation technics like function point analysis in J2EE-Projects?
    - Risk Management. What are the typical risks in J2EE-Projects and how do you manage them?
    - Quality Assurance... is very difficult in distributed computing. Are there any recomendations and tools for successfull QA?
    - Reports, lessons leard and best practices of large J2EE-Projects?
    Many thanks for your contribution!

Those should be decent entry points as far as I can say. Regarding the other things you want to know about, I guess that there is too much room in the term J2EE Project, to answer those. Mainly your choice of Application Server and other technology used will have quite an impact, and so will the choice of your development tools.
We have been developing with J2EE for more than a year now, but our tools and environments are still changing a lot. Thus sound estimation is quite tough.

  • Solution Manager Project Title

Is anyone aware of a method to get the project name in the title of the screen when an associate runs Solution Manager? If you look at the standard screen it displays a generic title like "Maintenance Cycle M000000010" or "Implementation Project I000000054".
Is anyone aware of a way (other than modifying SAP code) to get the screen to display the project title. Yes, I realize the project name is displayed in the body of the screen. We have a request to see if there's a way to make the project title more pronounced.

  • Captivate 8, Publish, Project Title isn't remembered if it is the same as file name

    Example:
Publish a Captivate 8 project and change the Project Title to 'Test'
    Save the project as 'FinalTest'
Publish the project again and change the Project Title to 'FinalTest' (It should be remember 'Test' from before)
Publish the project again and notice the Project Title is still 'Test'
    Workaround
Save the project temporarily as something else
    Publish the project as 'FinalTest'
    Save the project as 'FinalTest'
    Adobe PLEASE FIX

I am having the same issue and it is particularly frustrating when you are continuously publishing for testing. I tried to follow the workaround but still could not get the project title to stick in the 'Publish to My Computer' dialog box.

  • Can I customize the browser tab text - set to Project Title by default

    Hello there,
I am using RH 7.03, generating WebHelp
I am creating branded Help and would like to customize the name that displays on the browser tab. It is set via the Project Title property in Project Settings. Can this be changed dynamically via an ssl?
    Many thanks.
    Pat

    Hi Pat
To expound on what Colum offered, that setting will only have any effect under one of a couple of conditions.
You are working with Context Sensitive Help and are using Map IDs and the WebHelp API to establish the linking.
You are working with WebHelp or FlashHelp Pro output.
Aside from either of those conditions, the Window you were pointed to will be simply ignored.
    Cheers... Rick

  • 5.5 Issue, no longer saves Project Title, no longer uses file name

I often work in mammoth multi-slide projects and then break them into more reasonable chunks later on, deleting extra slides and saving with a differnt file name. In Captivate 4.0 this automatically updated the Project Title in the Publish Dialog. In 5.5 it retains the old name, even after saving or publishing it. This can lead to over-writing the original project.
In recent days I've discovered a truly bizzare workaround, completely by accident. A colleague was doing some QC and saved slides with completely new names. Although the Project Title wrongly retained the original file name, when I changed it to publish the slide, and then immediately used "Save As..." to save it with the same file name as the Project Title I just published, it finally retained the new name---in other words the Project Title I just published was still there after I closed then opened the file. If I Save As... before publishing it displays the frustrating broken behaviour, and when I tried it on some other files I had renamed it didn't work either... it seems as if the magic is available only on the first Save As... after renaming.
Anyone else seen this? Any better workaround? Can we expect a fix? When?
    Thanks.

yes i've seen that before.  I had a prototype of a project and as it progressed beyond a prototype I started saving and publishing with a new name.  But when I publish now it retains the name I used for the prototype, even tho I've published it several times with the new name.  Always defaults back to the first name I used.  You're not alone in your frustration.
I'll try to test it a little tomorrow to see if your workaround works for me.

  • RoboHelp 8 - Webhelp Project - Title Mismatch

How do you change the title on the frame of a webhelp project to match the title on the compiled project? The first screenshot shows the correct title, Order Entry Form.
The second screenshot is incorrect = RH Styles Development. I have deleted all references to RH Styles Dev in my project, but it still appears on the version copied to our server.
Any ideas on how to change it to the correct title in the first screenshot?
    Thanks!

    Hi there
Try clicking File > Project Settings > General tab and change the Project Title field.
Then generate the output again and test.

  • Can't see event titles or project titles when looking at photos in the photo view in Aperture 3?

    Howdy,
I recently switched from iPhoto 11 to Aperture 3. The only drawback so far is I am unable to view Project Titles when I am viewing all of my photos in the photo view. In iPhoto, I often would look at all of my photos in photo view while displaying the event titles. Is this possible in Aperture? Also, is there a simple way to view the file names underneath the photos in photo view instead of seeing the version name?

Hi Greg.  Welcome to Aperture and the Apple Aperture users forum.

You should set up all seven of the Metadata Overlays to meet your needs.  (iPhoto is designed as a turn-key operation for those who prefer their meals prepared; Aperture is a kitchen for those who like to cook.)

Have you looked at Projects View (click "Projects" at the top of the Library tab of the Inspector)?  You can group your Projects by Folder or by Year, and you can sort them in a number of ways.  There is no information pane which shows up on Aperture as you scroll (as there is in iPhoto).
Projects View, imho, add tremendous functionality to Aperture.  You can add descriptions to your Projects (and these are included in searches) via the Projects Information window ("{Shift}+i" with a Project selected.)

Totally different studies, though a volcanic eruption in Java might result in one on Java it's probably not a given that such would happen. Not at all. You would have to install a bunch of sensors on various mountains in Indonesia. Have them transmit suitable data to your server on a regular basis. After a while, analyze that data and attempt to predict volcanic eruptions.ah, but would those be eruptions IN Java or ON Java?
Such a study would be of interest maybe in that it might help determine whether the two phenomena are related, but no more than that.

  • Why?  Simple search of project title not possible

I do not understand why a simple search of the project titles or folders is not possible. Let alone not being able to use spotlight to search for photos within an aperture library. If I take all the time to keyword within aperture then it is useless outside the program. If I have multiple libraries I have to open each one to find the image that I am looking for. Very time consuming.
Any plugins or work-arounds for this?
I would pay money to have this.

    Prasenjit,
I was about to post the solution. I discovered that component but the code did not even go to DO_PREPARE_OUTPUT.
The solution was to 'Disable Cookies' (marked this checkbox in the technical profile associated with the business role).
I got the idea to try this after I came across a method get_server_cookie that could not read the cookie previously set by set_server_cookie (to this extent I came to debug .

  • Project Title showing up on actual Movie

I am trying to export my movies in iMovie. I create my project title and when I export the video the project title then appears on the actual movie on the bottom, like it was text i added to the movie, even though i didnt. How do i get rid of this? I feel it is some sort of preference but I can't find it anywhere. Any help would be great appreciated. Thanks!

Under some conditions, when you drag a title to the project window (with a full clip selected, for example), it thinks you want that "subtitle" to stay for the whole length.
In the project window, click on the blue rectangle that is the title, and delete it, or use the Inspector to make it last only 20 seconds or whatever (if you want to have the title appear over the existing video).
To make a title that's not superimposed over existing video, drag a title style you want in front of the start of your project (a green line will appear in front of the first frame).
At least, that's the story in iMovie '11 for Mac, not sure about iOS.

  • FLEX Builder Pro 3 New Flex Project cannot configure J2EE

I have FLEX Builder Pro 3 installed on a Windows XP machine.  LiveCycle Data Services is installed (with Tomcat) on a Linux RHEL 5 machine.  When trying to create a new FLEX project and configuring a J2EE server am very confused on what to put in Root Folder and Root URL.  I have tried various paths on the Root Folder (with a drive mapped through windows and also with just using the servername) and keep getting the error message:
Invalid root. The WEB-INF/flex folder must contain either flex-config.xml or services-config.xml.
I've located the flex-confing file in the tomcat5\webapps\ROOT\WEB-INF directory, but still get the error.
Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are your new classes referenced from the old code? Mxmlc employs a questionable form of "as-needed" linking, so classes that are not referenced from the main application are not even compiled. This referencing requirement is recursive; that is, any classes that are to be included have to be referenced from the main application, or from classes referenced by the main application, or from classes referenced by classes referenced by the main application, and so on. But if your new classes are not referenced at all from the old code, they will be ignored.
