Project won't play after bouncing.

I believe my project is too big or it's using too many Busses or something.
I used multiple Drum Designer tracks and a couple audio tracks and it's 4 minutes long (i don't know if any of these details matter) but I've been trying to export some of the files to audio to save space or improve the performance. I've tried just straight sending it to iTunes but a bunch of the audio tracks don't bounce over with the rest of the song. This has never happened to me before so I'm not even sure where to start..

This is the rest of the story...Premiere Elements 12 Windows 7 64 bit and going between headphone and speakers.
In my case, I needed to go through the Realtek HD Audio Manager after plugging or unplugging the headset and speakers.
When I plugged the headphone into the back of the computer (green jack), I obtained the "The current connected device is:" dialog and
placed the check mark next to Headphone. Then clicked OK to that dialog. Realtek made the adjustments and no problem using the
headphone instead of speakers at playback of the Premiere Elements 12 Timeline in the Edit area monitor.
If I wanted to revert to speakers, then I unplugged the headphone, plugged in the speakers in the back panel of the computer to get
"The current connected device is:", and placed the check mark next to Front Speaker Out, followed by OK to the dialog. When back
in Premiere Elements 12, sound from speakers was operative.
All this time, the Edit Menu/Preferences/Audio Hardware ASIO was set with check mark next to all the Output options.
I am not seeing any other opportunities to go between headphone and speakers in my computer environment.
Please let us know if your situation is comparable to my laptop of desktop computer models presented.

If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Devices list, and then click Restore.
(You may already have a micro USB cable if you have a camera or other digital device)

Unless I'm mistaken, K would be a network drive, no?
Unfortunately RoboHelp is only one of a host of applications that doesn't fare well if you try to make edits to a project while it resides on a network drive.
Try copying the project to your local C drive. Perhaps create a folder named Projects and copy your project to a folder named Primo Intranet inside that folder so it looks like this:
C:\Projects\Primo Intranet
Once you do this, try opening your project again and you will likely have better luck.

Installed iMovie 7.1 projects won't play/event clips will play-no volume

I just installed the iMovie 7.1 (506) update, and now I can't use the software at all.
1. My PROJECTS will not play at all. I can click on a clip and expand it (like I'm going to trim it), and play it from there... but I get no volume.
2. In the EVENTS window my clips will play, but I get no volume.
3. Even the iTunes music I put in the background on my projects won't play, so the sound issue is obviously not related to the clips.
Before I installed this new update, everything was working fine!
I've had nothing but problems since I bought iLife08 and installed iMovie. It's just not working. The previous update fixed all my problems (from the software out of the box), but I had to re-enter all the clips into new projects. Now this new update I did tonight has set me back again. This is costing me time. I've been trying to edit my trip to Europe... and this software is just not working.
HELP!!!!
Apple if you are reading these posts... your new update has problems! PLEASE FIX IT ASAP!
Also can you put a bug report on this software so I can let the developers know there is a problem.

Did you also install the iLife Support 8.1 upgrade? That upgrade is required, according to the iMovie 7.1 upgrade page.

Deauthorizing all is definitely the way to go. You will just need to authorize your computer again after, as well as your husband's.

Audio won't play after audio render

I have an MP3 on audio track 1 in Premiere/CS4, placed underneath video clips which I've unlinked from the audio and deleted/cleared those unlinked audio files. The MP3 file plays fine until I render the timeline and then it stops playing. If I 'double click' the file (placing it back in the source window) it plays fine there, but won't play in the timeline. I've included the file properties below. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening and what I can do to fix the problem?

I could do a MP3 to WAV conversion, but that defeats the
purpose of storing my (growing) music library in MP3 for space conservation.
I understand the space problem. Only do this for files that you are using as Assets, Imported into PrPro, if they give you a problem.
Seems I'm finding I have to do a lot of 'work arounds' with CS4.
Well, it does seem that you are not alone on this one. However, my problem came with PrPro 2.0. In my case, it only happened once, but did affect about a dozen Audio files in several Sequences. Did not realize the magnitude of my issue, and only observed it after a busy day of trying to Keyframe some Effects and doing multiple Renders to check things out. One moment all Audio in that section was playing well - next moment (after one more Render) dead. Others, who replied to my thread indicated that it had happened to them too, in similar circumstances. Trouble was, none of us could duplicate it and some had this happen on their first Render, while I'd probably done a dozen that morning. Have never had it happen again, and finished that Project with hundreds more Renders, just like I'd done, with not one problem. I certainly can not call it a Bug, as there was no way for anyone to reproduce it. Still, whatever allows it to happen, under the right (or wrong) circumstances seems to be around two generations later. Hey, phases of the Moon?

Burned CDs won't play after updating to 6.0

After updating to 6.0 and 6.01 the CDs I burn won't play in my car stereo. This was never a problem prior to the updates.
I double checked everything I could think of and am burning them to CD-Rs and have audio CD selected on my burning preferences. I have even tried using several different brands of CD and using a slower burning speed.
Any ideas?

absolutely nothing.All the controls are normal. When i try to double click a track to play it just highlights the track. When i use the play button, it operates but no track plays. Even in purchased tracks it won't play! There are one or two tracks that will play normally but they are random ones. Have tried the suggestion that are recommended but with no success.

Movies won't play after update to iPhone 2.1 Software

Help. I updated my 16GB iPod Touch with the iPhone 2.1 software to support applications. But now, when I go back and try to play my mp4 and m4v movie files on my iPod touch, they won't play. When I try to play them I get a warning that says "this movie could not be played". Videos I purchased from iTunes continue to play just fine.
Is this a new anti-piracy thing or something like that or am I having a problem with the iPhone 2.1 software? If I knew I wouldn't be able to watch my old movies and TV shows, I wouldn't have upgraded to 2.1.

Just a quick update on my issue... which seems different than most. To summarize, I tried updating from iTunes 10.6 directedly via USB. Got an empty progress bar when it "rebooted" after "successfully updating" to 5.1 with a memory allocation bar on itunes showing most the memory as allocated to "other", instead of the usual memory allocation to apps, music, pcits, etc. Rebooted the phone, but still came up with an empty progress bar, but would connect to itunes.. showing booted as 5.1, but again the memory was still allocated to "other". Started recovery process on itunes to try to bring back my old config, after which the iphone fully booted (into 5.1), but was completely.... recovered and re-installed all my apps, music, etc without a hitch and rebooted successfully, this time the memory allocation was correctly labeled, but somewhere I gained 2.0 GB of memory, even with all the same apps and music installed. I had to do some minor additional configurations (password lock had to be re-enabled), but otherwise, everything was working. A bunch of apps lost their stored settings... which I though strange as I expected the "backups" to store those settings as well. Otherwise, running 5.1 now without issues... seems much snappier than 5.0.1... but the process was nerve racking to say the least.
Best of luck with other "explorers" tyring to make the whole process work.

IMovie project won't play on TV...

Hi, I have a client who is upset because the project I did for her won't play on her TV DVD deck even though the commercial DVD movies do. It plays fine on her portable DVD unit and her Mac though. I used Memorex DVD+Rdl discs thinking they would work, but nada. Any input would be very much appreciated. I am at a loss.

Try a re-setup and re-start. Shut it all down and re-connect from scratch.
It's been a while since I tinkered on a Panasonic, bit I recall a menu setting that controls the DV in/out.
Check the camera menu that it's set up to pass through correctly.
Sometimes you even need to have a tape in the camera!!

Battery died while importing iPhoto video thumbnails, project won't play

I had recently added some new videos from my digital camera to iPhoto. Opening iMovie, it prompts to create thumbnails. I said yes and it said it would take about 15 minutes. My battery was low, but it looked like it would finish fine. I came back a few minutes later and the computer was off.
When I powered up again to charge, the iMovie thumbnail processing window was still up but hadn't finished. It appeared to have finished. The problem is that now a project I had completed a month ago won't play back properly. The thumbnails have a little yellow exclamation mark and flicker on/off gray. Trying to play the video usually crashes iMovie now, and it only plays back in short spurts.
My project appears to be corrupt or something. Is there a way to recover? Can I delete bad thumbnails from somewhere through Finder?

Videos won't play after update

Updated iPad 1 to OS 4.3.3 and now all iTune videos won't play. Screen goes black and then resets with "Unable to play this video" message. Any way to fix without downloading 50gb of movies again?

Not sure if this was the fix but the problem was resolved. I was also having App store sync problems so I rebooted the iPad (hard reboot) and then immediately went to app store any updated all apps (video player want one of them) and after it was complete I did another hard boot/reset. When the iPad restarted I immediately went into the video player and Problem Solved! Nt sure how it resolved itself but it works without reloading the files. Never connected to my laptop or resync'dthe iPad but just did an update to all of my apps from the App store (there were 11 to update). Good luck with it.

I recently ran out of hard drive space on my macbook pro so I decided to move my iTunes library to an external hard drive to make space. Since doing so the movies that I bought on Itunes won't play. Everything else is fine. The music plays but the TV shows and movies won't play. There was an error message the first time that I tried to play it but I have never seen it again and I didn't write it down. Something about a file missing. Has anyone successfully fixed a similar problem?

iTunes prefs - Reset warnings.
Double click a movie to play it.
When it comes up and asks if you want to locate it, click Yes, then go to /iTunes/iTunes media/Movies on the external and find the movie.

Some QuickTime movies won't play after 10.4.4 upgrade

Hi,
I recently upgraded to 10.4.4 and now some QuickTime movies - mostly from Safari won't play any more. I do online training and none of those QuickTime movies will play. They load perpetually. They also work fine on my other machine (which I haven't upgrade from v10.4.3 yet)
According to System Profiler, I'm running QuickTime 7.0.0 - but I can't find 7.0.1 in the Apple downloads section. I'm not even sure if that will help.
Any ideas?

Most current version of QT is indeed 7.0.4, but Apple has removed that update and instead posted one that backs 7.0.4 back to 7.0.1.
Apple is now passively recommending against 7.0.4
One of the links that no longer works is any of VTC.com's training videos.
