Projector in MAC shows full path

Hi
I created a Projector in flash and when run on MAC, it shows
full path in title area (Top of the window).
Can we fix it??
Thankz.

This is done automatically by Flash. I have never tried - but
I believe that this is not an issue that can be sorted out in Flash
as you have next to no control over your projector without using a
third party program.

    The question is why do you want to show the URL?
    Faces apps don't change the url with each click (as the click might be going into a region).
    Can you give us a use case? Do you use bounded task flows?

    Hello,
    Dreamweaver's assets panel should only display the filenames
    of your image
    assets.
    - What Operating system are you running?
    - Are you already running version 7.01 of Dreamweaver?
    - Did you try recreating the site cache (Site > Advanced
    > Recreate Site
    Cache)?
    - Does the issue happen to all sites defined in Dreamweaver?
    Have you
    tried
    redefining your site?

    I can not connect to the database via C#. The database is showing full path of the database file instead of the database name. See the pic: a database showing only name 'emart' and the other database showing the full path.

    Hi,
    According to your post, I know that the database name is showing file path of the database rather than the database name in SQL Server Management Studio. You were not able to
    establish a connection to the database using C#.
    As Olaf said, was any error message thrown out when the connection failed? How did you create these databases?
    You can use the following T-SQL to attach the database and see if the issue persists.
    CREATE DATABASE
    databasename
        ON (FILENAME = 'filepath _Data.mdf'),
        (FILENAME = 'filepath_Log.ldf')
    FOR ATTACH;

  • Show file path in title bar CS3 Mac

    Hi All, Is there a setting to make Dreamweaver CS3 Mac to
    show the full path to the file in the title bar within Dreamweaver
    Code View? Right now it only shows the name of the file. I work on
    very complex web applications, and not having quick access to where
    the file can be found is extremely frustrating, and may cause me to
    use a different editor. Please someone tell me there is a fix for
    this? My web searches turned up nothing.

    There is a widget in the code view toolbar that shows you
    this information
    for all open files.

  • Word 2013 shows full UNC path instead of local "Documents" folder on file Open and Save

    Normally Word (and Excel) by default will show the user's local "Documents" folder when opening or saving a file. That is what we want. However, after using Windows Server Folder Redirection to redirect the Documents folder to the network (Windows
    Server 2012R2), Word now shows the full UNC path to the network share.
    Instead of seeing:
    "MyPC  Documents"
    users see
    \\sever1\redirect$\username\documents
    Folder redirection is supposed to be transparent to the user. Virtually all our other applications, including Office 2003, respect this convention and continue to show "Documents". As you can see, Word even exposes a hidden share.
    Even if we go to File / Options / Save and browse to the local Documents folder as the place Word should open and save files from, Word immediately removes the path you have browsed to, and replaces it with the UNC path.
    Is there a way to suppress this behavior? Thanx!
    Dana

    Hi,
    Based on my understanding, you only want others to see some part of path name, rather than full UNC path name. It is right?
    It seems that we can’t implement your requirement. When we open a file from “My Pictures”, it shows “My picture” instead of showing the full path “C:\Users\User\Pictures”. “My Picture” is set as a library in Windows, so it hides
    full path by design. We can't set \\sever1\redirect$\username\documents as a library.
    As a workaround, you can upload these files to OneDrive and share link to others.
    If I have anything misunderstood, don't hesitate to tell me.

  • HT1338 My mac Mini shows full hard disk when it is not really full. Shows some free space upon start up that gradually disappears without doing anything with the Mac.

    My Mac shows a full hard disk even though the disk is not full. There are several GB of unused space if I add the sizes of all the folders in the disk. Under the disk info window the free space shrinks to zero after a short period of time. It shows more space upon restart, but then it shrinks eventually to zero space available. is there a way to solve this?

  • Mobile-accounts FULL PATH badboy

    Our goal is to get Mobile Accounts with Portable Home Directories working. The home folders are stored on an external hard drive on Mac OS X Server 10.6.3. It's more or less working... but not quite ARGHH! HELP!!
    The short question is: What value do I use for the 'full path'
    The obvious answer, causes problems.
    THE GORY DETAILS (+aka. 'argh!!'+):
    Since all the files for user1 are stored on macsrv1 in /Volumes/team1/users/user1 I believe that in WGM I should have:
    Share Point URL: afp://macsrv1.disney.ch/users
    path to home: user1
    full path: /Volumes/team1/users/user1
    but when I try to log onto user1 on mac1, for the first time, it fails.
    In /var/log/secure.log I read +"user1 not known"+.
    And +"Could not get the user record for 'user1' from Directory Services"+
    (see *error1 at the bottom of this msg)
    IF I CHANGE the full path to:
    full path: /Network/Servers/macsrv1.disney.ch/users/user1
    THE LOGIN WORKS (I'm asked if I want to create a mobile account and when I say yes, a local folder is created on mac1, and any syncing does indeed cause files to appear on macsrv1 in /Volumes/team1/users/user1
    HOWEVER (+aka. Oh no!+):
    When the user does an ssh into macsrv1, his home directory (cd ~ or echo $HOME) is /Network/servers/macsrv1.disney.ch/users/user1 which is really just /users/users1 which is a virgin/template-like folder.. certainy not /Volumes/team1/users/user1
    BUT (goodnews here)
    If I now set the full path back...
    full path: /Volumes/team1/users/user1
    Everything works. Loggging into mac1 ok. SSHing into macsrv1 ok.
    But logging into mac2 fails (until I switch out the full path again)
    *a. WHAT SHOULD BE THE CORRECT VALUE FOR FULL PATH?*
    b. If it should be /Volumes/team1/users/user1 then how can I convince the client macs to create the mobile account?
    2. I have a 2nd question concerning the automount re-mounting the drive... causing a double mount! I've described the problem here: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2461695&stqc=true
    I've hunted through the forums, where appartently the answer lies, without success. Please help!
    /shawn
    THANKS FOR ANY INSIGHT/help.
    Helpers get free beer if they come to Switzerland.
    p.s. I might add that the afp Share point on macsrv1 for /Volumes/team1/users is called 'users' (configured via WGM). Does that help? Maybe there is some weird conflict between there existing a /Users in root, and there being a mount called 'users'?
    *error1:
    After the login window, the user is informed that "Zou are unable to log into the user account. An error has occurred". In system.log on mac1 I read +"edu.mit.Kerberos.CCacheServer[927]: launchctl start error: No such process"+

    *4. dscl on macsrv1*
    dscl /LDAPv3/127.0.0.1 -list /Users
    does indeed show user1 (and any other user I create)
    So why can't I login/create user1 on the client mac without toggling the FULL PATH to /Network/Servers/macsrv1.disney.ch/users/user1 first? arghh!

  • How do I obtain the full path string for my file?

    Many Mac applications are particularly bad at guessing what folder I want to grab a file from.  As a result, I waste a great deal of time fishing all through my directory tree in order to put and take my files in and from the right location.  It does seem to be better is some applications but still the nuisance is an issue.  Of course in Windows this can happen too except there I have a workaround to help out the foolish applications.  I can copy the full literal path to the clipboard from Explorer.  Then when the file access dialog comes up I can paste the full literal path ahead of the filename and snap to the correct folder.  On my mac, I have had mixed success approximating this strategy.  Sometimes, if the target folder isn't empty, I can use the Finder to browse to the target folder and open the Get Info dialog for a file and copy the full path from within that dialog.  This does not work though when the folder is empty and Mac does not support the create new text file on the fly feature.  Furthermore, I have noticed some strange behavior even when I do have the full path copied.  One such example is using TextEdit, pasting this full path has resulted in the application using the full path as a really long filename for the new file which still resides in the folder the application incorrectly assumed.
    There is a list box in most Mac file access dialogs with _some_ of the recent folders I accessed listed for quick selection but nine times out for ten the folder I just came from isn't among them.  That detail really surprises me.  Do regular Mac users have habits that prevent problems like this, or is there a better way to _bank_ a literal folder location I know I'll need to use soon and often, or do I just need to get used to fishing for folders during file access?

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities. Most of us are users here.
    Create folders and drag those 'frequently used' folders to the left-hand FAVORITES column/sidebar in Finder.
    Then just drag your files to the destination folders, or click on them to select them as destinations from your applications.
    When you no longer need these folders, right-click to remove them from the FAVORITES sidebar.
    They'll still be in the original location where they were created, just no longer visible in the sidebar.
    Another thing to note is that the full path of your current destination is shown at the bottom of the screen in Finder. In this case Macintosh HD, Users, (Home folder name), Desktop.

  • WGM Home directory full path not populating properly

    I'm setting up WGM with mobility as all of my network users are on laptops. For some reason some of the users are working and others not. When I try to log in with some I just get told that the user couldn't log on because an error occured. As far as I can work out this is because the home directory for the user on the network can't be found and so a local one can't be created either.
    The only difference I can see between the users (bearing in mind this is a brand new network set up so I haven't made many changes) is that for the users that do work when I select the SharePoint I want to use under the home tab in user settings, the Full Path has ...er ...well the full path in it: /network/servers/mynetwork/Volumes/myharddrive/myfolder/myuser
    whereas ones that don't work just have the folder name: myuser
    This not only happens when I use the auto populated list as well as when I create one from scratch.

    You're right, DNS implementation in Leopard server is very poor, especially considering how critical it is.
    Time Machine for every user is a bit of a tricky one - I've been thrashing this one out in another thread, and there is an answer, but it's not ideal.
    Here's the thread: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2034769&start=0&tstart=0
    The answer on how to do it is at the end of the thread, but make sure Time Machine isn't used as the only method of Disaster Recovery on a corporate network, it's really only good for a useful extra.
    As for an internal and external DNS server, the answer I'm afraid is "not really". The way you have it set up is pretty good, from a redundancy point of view. However, if you have to use an external DNS server, it's always going to be slower, because of the extra distance over slower links that the DNS request has to travel.
    Bear in mind, it has to go through your router and/or firewall, all the way out to a busy DNS server somewhere out on the net (probably over a number of routers on the way), then it has to come back the same way before your client can actually resolve the URL to an IP address.
    Compare that to internal where it has to travel a matter of metres over a (I assume) 100mbps network to a DNS server that's not processing very many requests.
    The only workaround I could suggest would be to employ a second DNS server (perhaps a proxy?) within your network assuming you can separate it from whatever causes your primary DNS server to go down. The costs aren't prohibitive - you could do it on a Mac Mini + cost of a second Leopard Server license.
    Oh, and your English is just fine, lol.

  • How to read file WITHOUT full path using TEXT_IO?

    We have a scenario like this:
    -- We have a Telco application.
    -- That has 3 types of installations. English and Spanish
    -- We have 2 App Servers (Eng & Spa) for the 2 installation types.
    -- But there is only ONE DB. I.e. users logging into Eng or Spa AS versions login to the same DB.
    -- We have to maintain 2 login forms because of Eng and Spa, because the menu labels have to come in 2 langs.
    -- I am trying to have one tree menu for this.
    -- To do this I did this.
    -- Put a text file in the Forms directory of the AS.
    -- The file has just one line. ENGLISH or SPANISH.
    -- I read this file and find out the language and then show labels according the language.
    Problem is that when I used TEXT_IO and gave file name like this filename:=GET_FILE_NAME('Avabill_AS_Language.txt', File_Filter=>'Text Files (*.txt)|*.txt|');
    I get a error saying file not found.
    I found out that with TEXT_IO you need FULL PATH of the file. Thing is path of the installation depends of installation to installation. I cannot create a parameter in the DB since the DB is COMMON. I HAVE TO use a text file in the AS directory.
    Is there any other way like reading the Default.env file or FormsWeb.cfg? Is there a parameter in any of these files which specifies the forms directory absolute path. I studied both file but could not find an entry.
    Any workaround would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks BaiG for the quick response.
    U r right about that GET_FILE_NAME.
    I removed that and put the file name only and tried. Still get the same error.
    FUNCTION Avabill_Deployment_Type RETURN VARCHAR2 IS
    v_language VARCHAR2(100);
    in_file Text_IO.File_Type;
    BEGIN
    in_file := Text_IO.Fopen( *'Avabill_AS_Language.txt'* , 'r');
    Text_IO.Get_Line(in_file, v_language );
    Text_IO.Fclose(in_file);
    RETURN v_language;
    EXCEPTION
    WHEN OTHERS THEN
    Text_IO.Fclose(in_file);
    ALERT_MESSAGE(1,'FILE NOT FOUND: ' || SQLERRM);
    RETURN 'Normal';
    END;
    I get this error:
    *302000: non-ORACLE exception*
    As for you query:
    -- We have 2 app servers. One English and One Spanish.
    -- So we have 2 sets of forms. One English with English labels in the forms and the other with Spanish Labels.
    -- So we HAVE to have 2 menu forms as well, don't we? When the menu form is run how does it know whether the app server is English or Spanish.
    -- There is no way to find out. We cannot use a DB variable since BOTH use the same DB (at the same time). Eng users will enter in English while Spanish users will enter in Spanish.
    I don't see how we can have one menu form for this purpose. Can u elaborate your method further please?

  • How to get the full path name of a file

    Hey everybody, I'm new here and in Java.
    so I will explain my question by giving an example:
    I want to send file from the Desktop by the "Send to" on the popup menu to my program.
    I want to know how can I read the full path name and the file name, and show it on my text box.
    Thanx alot

    If this is a client side application then I'd say look into drag-n-drop tutorials.
    i.e. drag file to your application, action listener fires, create File object giving you full name and path of users action.
    If this is a web application then look into the "multipart/form-data" content type specifications on how to upload files.
    i.e. user specifies file from <input type='file' ... /> type, submits, servlet receives data and recreates file locally on application server side.
    If you are thinking that all you need to send a file to a program is the full path and name in a textbox its a little bit more complicated then that.
    Good luck, hope that helps!
