Projects, Recently Opened files tab missing

Windows shut down my machine after doing an update, when i started it and opened jdeveloper, it was missing the following tabs (Projects, Application Resources, Data Controls, Recently Opened files tab) under Application Navigator. How do i get them back. I can't see any of my project. I tried to create a sample application and put projects in it, but still can't see the projects.
Thanks for any help

It would be located in a directory with a path similar to the one below, replacing "ric" with your windows username.
C:\Documents and Settings\ric\Application Data\JDeveloper\system11.1.1.0.22.47.32\o.ide
--Ric

    Hi,
Please try the following 2 methods:
1.Click to select the Add new documents to Documents on Start Menu check box on the
IE tab of Tweak UI. To do this, follow these steps.
Note To perform the following steps, you must be logged on as a member of the local Administrators group.
In Control Panel, double-click Tweak UI.
    Click the IE tab.
Click to select the Add new documents to Documents on Start Menu check box, and then click
    OK.

2.Go to Start—>Run—>Type regedit click ok
Now you need to navigate the following key from left pane
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\CURRENTVERSION\POLICIES\EXPLORER
Now you need to select the following key and delete from right pane
    NoRecentDocsHistory
    Exit your registry editor
Now you need to go open MS office application click on Tools—>Options
Click on General Tab, Check the Recently used file list checkbox and use the designated dropdown to select the desired number of entries and click ok
Note Please backup your Registry before modifiying.

  • How to Increase the # of Recently Opened Files in DW CS6 ???

Can anyone please give a detailed instruction on how to increase the number of Recently Opened files in Dreamweaver CS6? I have read the forums everywhere and do not see a solution here that works. For me there is no: Menus/MM/File_RecentFiles.htm
I mean I have a "Menus" directory but no "MM" directory inside that... also, if I create one... I still need a sample "File_RecentFiles.htm" to copy. Or maybe someone knows another solution?

I don't have DWCS6, just DWCS4 and DWCC. When I go to Program Files(x86) > Adobe >  Adobe Dreamweaver CC (or Dreamweaver CS4) > configuration > Menus > MM > and then open the file named "File_RecentFiles.htm" at either location, this is the code...
    <!-- MENU-LOCATION=NONE -->

EDIT: It appears you should definitely have this file, unless something is wrong with your installation, or perhaps you are in the wrong directory?

  • How to clear recently opened files

I'm using Flash Player 11, and I was wondering if I'd be able to remove the recently opened files under "file". Thanks!
(Also, not related to this question, but is there a keyboard shortcut for "close" or "exit"?)

What is your operating system & version?
Do you mean the standalone player (Projector)?

  • Where are my "open file" tabs?

Maybe these two things are not related, but my working page in DreamWeaver was suddenly spread out across the whole screen.  I fixed it by playing in the upper right-hand corner of the window and reducing its size, but now my "open file" tabs on top of the page are gone!  When I open more than one file, instead of getting tabs, they stack one on top of the other, like they did in the older versions of PhotoShop.  Help!!!  Thanks

Thanks so much, Vinay.  I do get the tab back, but then the window is spread
across the entire screen again, so 1/3 of it is hidden by the panels on the
right.  Further, I have no bottom scroll bar, so I can't see the right side
of the page without closing the panels.  Yikes.  What have I done?  I assume
it's something simple, but these things can drive you nuts!

  • How to add "recently opened files" option in my menubar?

In MS Word & others there will be a option to retrive all the recently opened files.Where exactly these files have been stored? Can I get the code for adding this option in my menu bar?
    regards,
    Madhu

HI, i believe taht word stores that in the windows registery but yuo could always save it in a file. then each time your application opens or saves a document modify your file. then everytime your application starts just read that file and add the content to your recently opened files list in your menu.
    Hope this helps you,
    Robert

  • Clearing recently opened files

How does one clear an application's recently opened files when control-clicking on an application? Clicking on the mac at the top left corner and clearing recently items only clears that menu, there still remains individual menus for say, preview or quicktime, that I wish to clear and I can't seem to find a way to. Cheers.

  • How to recently opened files as Menuitem (swing)

we have a menubar which contains some internalframes and we have to display some html files which we get from a directory directly as a menu item. so if some body puts some more files in the diretory the menu automatically shows all the files in the menu.
Now i come to the problem , we have a menu called WindowMenu .if somebody opens either internalframes or html files we want WindowMenu to display the recently opened internalframes or the htmlfiles as JMenuitem.
and if a user goes to window menu and select a recently opened file it should open that respective frame

  • How to remove Recently opened files?

Is there a way to remove Recently opened files (File>Open Recently Edited File)?

Reset the preferences. in PSE version 10 and older quit the editor (quit PSE in PSE 8 and lower on a mac) then restart it while holding down ctrl+alt+shift (command+option+shift on a mac). Keep the keys down till you see a window asking if you want to delete the settings file. You do.
In PSE 11 and 12, go to the editor preferences>general and click this button, then restart the editor:

  • Unable to clear the recently open files list

Currently, in order to clear the opened files list, the user has to go into the Windows registry.  This by itself can be bad if the user is not familiar with the registry; could mess up the registry if not very careful.  There appears to be no plug-in/addon for this option nor is there any user option to select to clear the list.  There is a setting in the options/permissions to limit the number of opened files to the list; the minimum number being one(1).  Cannot set this number to zero(0) unless maybe there is a registry fix for this.  I want to suggest that in the next release, or at least as soon as possible, to add to the Adobe Reader (by default) a user option to be able to clear this list with having to enter the registry.  Or, maybe create a plugin/addon to perform this action.  That's it.

  • Terminal command to find most recently opened files

    Hello,
I have a terminal command (bash) that will find the last opened file (singular) from a given directory.  "$(ls -t | head -n1)"
I want to be able to search for multiple "last opened" files, say 20; I also want to be able to search either all user files, or at least direct the command to search within subfolders of a  top level folder.
Can anyone help.  I'd appreciate it!  Thanks.

This will find all files last used today. Reference. File Meta Data attributes. Curious about a file … mdls filename.
