PROO dual function

Dear Gurus,
In one pricing procedure I assign a GL against PROO condition type, and run the document from order to billing, every thing was fine.
but than as per client scenario i check the order quantity and delivered quantity, let say delivered quantity is less with 5 units as per order. so i will create a debit note for 5 units.
A different condition type PRO1 is call on debit note pricing procedure because now the value on this document should go on accrued GL plus i marked the condition type configuration as "Accrued", so the value is not the part of net value and goes to accrued GL, PROO condition type is not there in this pricing procedure.
Now when I create debit note system cant call the PR01 in the condition automatically, and if I go to pricing option i have to clic "carry out new pricing" than system shows the correct price, is there any work around so that user cant go for carry out new price what ever present in the record will appear in the condition.
Looking for the prompt response.
Regards,

Dear All,
Issue resolved.
In copying control I change the pricing type, and in PR01 I use reference condition PROO.
Thanks..

  • Dual Function Button

I have a series of panels that slide into position when selected.  I have a button on each panel with an arrow pointing to the right indicating a transition to the open state.  I have created the interaction that when clicked 'we' move from the "Home" page/state to "Card#1" page/state.  Now I want to spin the button 180 degrees so it is now pointing left (the closed/home page/state) and on click I now want the functionality to reverse and move the card back to the "Home" page/state from "Card#1" page/state.  Because I do not know how to add the dual functionality I need help.  I can conceive of two solutions:
1 - create a second button that is identical to the first and on the transition replace the first "Open" button with the second which will have the interactions to "Close" the "Card#1" page/state returning to the "Home" page/state.  But this just adds overhead and more graphics to an already graphically intense project.
2 - figure out how to somehow trigger a change in functionality, based on the current page/state and just use the one button.  Something like...
              If page/state = "Home"
                   Button Interaction = transition to "Card#1" page/state
              else
Button Interaction = transition to "Home" page/state
Can anyone offer some advice on what my best approach might be?

I figured this out.  Using the "When in State" functionality while defining the button interaction did the trick.

  • Button with dual functionality

Is there a way to create a button that has a rollover caption?
I want the user to be able to rollover the button and text to show up over the button, kinda like a tool tip, and the text to disappear when the user rolls off the button.... but the button need to function as a button (need to navigate to a differnt slide).
    I hope this maks sense.
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi there
Sure thing. Insert a standard button. Then click the Options tab.
    Enable the Hint caption.

  • Dual function phone on Infinity

    Hello
I am looking into going to Infinity from normal BT Broadband and the person I spoke to on the phone suddenly said they saw I had an internet phone and it wouldn't work on Infinity.
What I have is a GE Digital Cordless phone that supports landline calls and Skype.
It is connected by 2 cables, one to the phone line another to an Ethernet socket on my BT Homehub2.
Is it right this won't work on Infinity?
    I can't understand why it wouldn't.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

What they are talking about is that your hub phone, if you have one, will not work with the new home hub 3 which is used on Infinity.
There is a way around this, provided you keep your existing home hub as well.
    Do you use Broadband Talk?

  • AE2020 Dual Monitor

    Hi Guys,
Now I understand that some MSI's only have a VGA in and you cannot use a 2nd monitor. However I have read everywhere that MSI AE2020 has dual functionality. The VGA in acts as a VGA out port as well.
Well up until now, no luck. I cannot get the 2nd monitor to work with my AE2020, it simply won't recognize. Are there any instructions as to how I can make this work?
    Cheers.

I haven't any specific instructions but those are outputs not inputs on that model so it should work connected to external monitor.

  • Customer / Vendor Master Dual Control - Sensitive Fields

    Dear SAP Experts,
I have configured a business requirement to extend the Senstive Field functionality towards customer master. I have defined the new Customer group and also assigned the fields. Every time a change to the Customer master record (KNA1 and KNB1) fields are changed, the message pops for the confirmation to be done thru FD08/FD09.
The only question I have is the relevance behind this control as even after the changes not yet to be confirmed, the system is allowing me to bill the customer (Sd billing) and pass the entry to FI accounting? On the other hand the Vendor functionality does not allow a billing run unless and until the changes are confirmed. My question is what is the relevance of the customer master. Can anyone who has an idea about this provide some insight about the dual functionality of this sub module.
    Rgds,
    Abhai

    hello, friend.
i wish to understand your situation better.  if the sensitive fields restrictions are working for vendor, then there should be similar features for customer.  the, my question is "are you -
    1.  "working in a DEV environment where you have consultant's (unlimited) authorization or
    2.  "working in a QAS/PROD environment where you have specific authorization?"
perhaps you have already checked this, but please indicate if you the authorization groups and transaction codes authorization have been set for the users.
    many thanks.

  • Function not available to this responsibility. -- Error

Hello everyone, it will be nice if someone can give any tips/tricks to fix this error.
We have two web tiers (load balanced). This error showes up only on one of the web tiers (we can name is node-B). When we keep node-A down and try with node-b up this error is thrown. The vice-versa works fine.
    Error:
*"Function not available to this responsibility. Change*
*responsibilities or contact your System Administrtator."*
This error appears when clinking on a particular form.
The final troubleshooting we have done, is to clone node-B from node-A and still the error persists.

  • Multi-Function Button

I have a quick request for a tight deadline. Hopefully this
    is simple...
I have one timeline with voice over that plays (linearly)
through several slide - Each slide is designated with a frame
marker. I want a forward and back button, but I want them to have
dual functions (as noted in the topic summary).
Basically, it's the old: If you click the back button
quickly, the navigation will replay the current slide (i.e. back
one marker), but if you hold down the button for more than 2
seconds, it replays the previous slide (i.e. back two markers).
Obviously the same goes for the forward button but in the other
    direction.
I am lost because I knew how to do this with Director, but I
am not completely up on Flash scripting and I have too much to do
    tomorrow to figure it out.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
p.s. I forget if there is scripting to go back one marker or
two markers, but if I have to customize each button (on each slide)
to manually go to a specific slide, that's fine. It's really more
important that I figure out how to detect the difference between a
quick click and a long click. I assume some kind of counter on the
    click?

Take a look at this article that I have on my site here:
    http://explorinlauren.com/repository/flash/actionscript/using-set-interval-to-pause-timeli ne.html
You can use a function that calls this setInterval script in
you btn.onPress whereas you could use another function that runs
when you do btn.onRelease. Let me know if this is too confusing and
I could try to explain further.

  • Passing sql report query field value to hidden item in javascript

I have sql report which has in each row one html button. Let us say that query SHOULD look like (two columns, to be easy to get the point):
    select 1 SECURITY_ID
      , '<input type="BUTTON" value="Top10" onClick="javascript:Top10Click ('||SECURITY_ID||');" >' BTN
    FROM DUAL;
    function Top10Click (vValue) {
      html_GetElement('P31_PROCESS_VALUE').value = vValue;
      doSubmit('GO_BACK');
    } <br><br>
where P31_PROCESS_VALUE is hidden item where i want to store value of row where click happened.
    <br><br>
In every button i want to pass row value "SECURITY_ID" to Top10Click function for each row differently.
    <br><br>
Problem is that when I place double qoute then js is not working, else js is ok but "SECURITY_ID" is passed as constant not as live SQL value.
    <br><br>
    Any help...THX!
    <br>
    Demo is on oracle:

    Workspace entry:
    WK: FUNKY
    UN: [email protected]
    PW: qwertz

I have tried to unify the solution, so it looks like:
    select 1 SECURITY_ID
      , '<input type="BUTTON" value="Top10" onClick="javascript:Top10Click ('||'&quot_X;'||SECURITY_ID||'&quot_X;'||');"  >' BTN
FROM DUAL;change '&quot_X;' (remove "_X" part ... so it can be seen in HTML properly!

Oracle has a utlity that does something similar, that can be installed
by running utldtree.sql. It includes a deptree_fill procedure. With a
little modification of the deptree_fill procedure, you can make your
own reverse_deptree_fill procedure, that should do about what you want.
You may want to add some additional modifications or filter the result

  • MBP- Digital Audio Out is always on

For some reason after (I believe) I updated to 10.4.9 the Digital Audio Out on my MBP is always on, thus making the internal speakers unusable. If I plug in headphones they work fine but after I unplug them it switches back to digital audio.
    How do I fix this?
    15" MBP 1.83ghz.   Mac OS X (10.4.6)   1.5gb of Ram,

ok, since this prob comes up every week and often more than once a week, I wrote a detailed explanation and saved it so I could repost it next time it happened to someone. here it is:
the audio input/output connector on all mac notebooks is a dual function connection. it can switch between analog and digital optical. the way it does this is by an automatic sensor that detects what is plugged in. if it detects that an optical digital cable is connected, then it will switch to digital output and/or input mode as the case may be. this is why you see a red light - it's the optical digital audio stream. it seems that in many cases, people's connectors are becoming stuck, and the machine thinks there is a digital optical cable plugged in. it can happen if you've connected or disconnected headphones, or speakers, or possibly even if something is loose in that port and it just gets jammed with the sensor being tripped. people have suggested trying to gentle poke inside the port with a paperclip, to try and reset the sensor back to the setting that nothing is plugged in. for some people it has worked, for others, not. you can also try plugging in headphones and unplugging them a few times to see if it does the trick. if none of this works, then unfortunately the best bet is going to be taking the machine in for a service.

  • Connecting iMac to stereo receiver

I am trying to figure out the best way to connect my iMac to a stereo receiver. Which option will result in superior sound on my home stereo: (1) running a TOSLINK cable from the iMac's optical digital audio out port to the receiver's optical input or (2) connecting the iMac to the receiver using a USB DAC?
    Thanks for your help.

I do not agree. The headphone amp outputs a conventional two channel analog signal on the multi-purpose 3.5 mm audio output jack on all Intel iMacs. But that same jack outputs a digital optical signal if the iMac senses a mini-Toslink adaptor plug has been inserted instead of an analog stereo TRS (tip ring sleeve) plug.
IOW, the same jack furnishes two entirely different kinds of output (analog or digital) depending on what is plugged into it. The digital output encodes the audio (which could consist of multiple channels of audio) on a single beam of digitally modulated light. The analog output is two separate signals, each on its own electrical conductor, derived from the internal DAC in the iMac & amplified by the amp to provide enough power to drive headphones.
It is possible that the amp does double duty to also drive the light source for the digital output, but that is in no way is comparable to using it to drive headphones -- for the digital output all it would have to do is switch the light level between the digital high & low states.
My guess is that whoever told you about the headphone amp either did not know about the dual function of the jack or thought you were talking about an analog connection to your stereo.

Hi everybody, this may be a little off topic, but i´ve found people here to be the most knowledgeable.
I´m planning on getting The CA Azur 540R Receiver. From what i´ve read my Imac has a "Headphone/optical digital audio output (minijack)". Is there a cable for connecting directly my Imac to the optical audio input on the receiver? what type of cable should i get? Will i be able to get true 5.1 DD sound from say: a dvd movie playing through the dvd player on the Imac?? Thanks everybody for your time.
